Find another app. The video played fine on my Macbook Pro until I invoked Oka, then the mirror appeared on the TV with no picture. No picture on the Mac either, just sound, so I know the video file was playing. After my 10 minute free trial expired (“bait-and-switch" for sure,) the picture came back on my Mac, but no more mirror. So the upshot is that the app doesn’t work during the free trial and they now want me to pay for the upgrade. If I can’t get it woking during the life the free trial, it makes no sense to buy the premium version. Frustrating. I recommend finding another app.
I puchased the VIP membership. It's worth the money. Video streaming on chromecast works very well. The only bug is when I try to adjust the volume, the streaming would crashed. I couldnt seem to find where to adjust the volume in the app. Hope it could be fixed in the next update.
I tired a number of apps in the app store and they semi worked but this one gave me absolutly no problem at all. Now of the free ones this one is the best hands down. i haven't used the paid ones but if you try this app you'd be more than satisfied with the outcome.
After 5 frustrating hours of several apps to try to set up screen mirroring on my Samsung TV, I was able to set up this app and get it working in less that 15 minutes!! Thank you, thank you, thank you .Katherine Kendall
With the new update, it allows the audio availability while screen mirroring, what a huge added feature! Honestly the best screen mirroring app out there. Some may say a slight delay happens, but it does not bother me that much at all. Bravo to the developers!!!

This app is awesome, works very well if you can tolerate a growing lag time between the audio and video. As of very recently, it was a free app. Now if you want more than 5 minutes of mirroring, you have to pay for their "VIP" version, so it is essentially a paid app now.
I just installed Oka Mirror - for Smart TV on my new Macbook Pro. It is connected to a new Sony Bravia through a pretty decent Apple based intranet. Although set the app was a breeze the point is that there is a 10 sec delay so sadly this is not good. If someone can tell me if there is a way to improve the speed I will gladly change the rating
i know its a relativley niche tv brand so i wont give you a bad rating. But it doesnt work on the TCL. furthormore xbox one also couldnt connect, it showed up, but when trying to mirror all i got were loading screens and then the app would stop trying to mirror it
I have a Samsung in my bedroom -- the Oka Mirror detected the TV immediately and started broadcasiing with the expected 3s delay. I highly recommend this app. Many thanks to the creator of this.
I paid for the premium version of this app, and only worked the first day… Now i can’t mirror my screen anymore, only media screen is working, but the main reason i bought this was to mirror mac to my smart tv. I need help or my money back.
the sound comes through my computer, not my TV, which is not a bad thing. However, the sound does not sync with the TV. Otherwise, I'm happy with the app.
If it works I can't make it. It mirrors but screen goes blank on tv and computer when the show starts. Sound stays on but no picture, if the tv is off all is ok again on the computer.
I got it to mirror, but the screen on the TV was static. I opened new windows, wrote the reivew and it never did work. I'm not going to spend money on something that doesn't work in trial.

I downloaded this app hoping that it will mirror videos and scren from my Mac (laptop) to LG tv> doesn't work at all. it doesn't give any instructions, wants you to ad a URL that never opens. It doesn't work at all.
After numerous tries, I was able to acheive a maximum of 15 seconds connectivity between my 1 year old Macbook Pro (top of line) and my LG tv. Kudos for trying, but does not work for this configuration.
