Had a problem with the Find Care option disappearing but after contacting support it was fixed within a couple days. All in all the app is quite useful. The only issue I have is the info for providers is more often than not out of date and limited. Would be very helpful to have more accurate provider profiles with up to date numbers, specialty info etc. As it is you can just Google the provider to find what you need once you know they are in network. Billing side of app is very helpful and organized
Love this app ! Everything I need is right in the app. Recently my app has been stuck in loading and I can’t get to my information. Once that’s fixed I would definitely rate the app 5 stars !
App is typically buggy for healthcare software, many features throw backend errors. Clearly a bad development with poor leadership Website is even worse. The UI has 1,700 buttons scattered about. Pay Bill button is hidden at the very bottom and not included in the top navbar. Hilarious design decision to hide such a common feature down there while also providing NO billing/account status alerts anywhere else throughout the UI. So users will have no idea if their account is in good standing or not. Whoever is making these decisions needs to be replaced with someone experienced and competent
This app allows you to keep track of everything related to your health insurance with Blue Cross Blue Shield of SC. This includes viewing EOB’s, coverage, status of deductible expenses, prescription pricing, etc. The FaceID allows you to sign in with your facial image, so there’s one less password to deal with.
This app has helped me find everything I need, from mental health to my physical health. It’s easy to use and I love that I can find doctors for what I need them for within my network. No more calling every office to see if they are in network !
I have used this app for at least a few years, and appreciate it so much! It is so useful for paying my monthly premium, accessing my insurance card, and viewing my benefits & claims, too! I love that this is ALL available right here- in this app on my phone!
This app is terrible. It contains almost no information other than to tell me what my deductible is. Other insurers make it easy to look up estimated costs for procedures and to pursue preauthorization, but this app is completely opaque and many of the basic links do not work at all (for example, “look up a provider” sends me to a browser, then a pop up window which won’t open).
When I click to the app it goes to a black screen, after trying to use the app several times and re-starting the phone without success, I decided to uninstall the app hoping that after reinstalling it I’d be able to finally get in, but I was wrong! The app is not in my phone anymore and I can’t even re-download it because the only button available is “open” that doesn’t work BECAUSE IT’S DON’T HAVE THE APP !
I was shocked to see 3.0 stars! I actually love this app, and it has everything about your entire health insurance policy accessible in one app. You see your health claim, pharmacy claims, and even the EOB build into the app. I rarely have to contact BCBS because of this app.
The app functions mostly fine but the face ID login does not work and has been like this for months. This has to be an easy fix?? It’ll recognize my face and try to login but then generates an error message so I have to type in my password manually.
I do everything on my phone. It’s nice to have this where I need it as well. So much easier to use than worrying about having my card at all times. Thanks BCBSSC!
I’m not sure this app is legit. It looks like it is the app from my insurance company but the developer name doesn’t line up and a large number of the reviews appear to be scripted. I’m having a difficult time trusting it with any of my information
Why did you get rid of facial recognition and touch ID which are the most secure ways to login. You want us to use passwords with many upper and lowercase letters, numbers and special symbols. It takes takes forever to type in these are archaic making the app pretty much useless.
I have been trying to find a dentist. The app (and the website) both say there is no doctors, nurses, dentists, or even hospitals within 20mi. I literally can see multiple hospitals from my window right now. There is no “customer support” option so I can’t ask anyone to fix it, thus this review.
This app had been working very well until this last update. Now the app crashes before it can fully open. I deleted it and downloaded it again & the same thing happens. It is completely unusable unless something is done to fix it.
Screw these guys. They don’t care about you or your health. I used the app to get some cost estimates for basic health needs. They don’t cover a dime of therapy. They only pay $2,000 out of $10,00-$15,000 for childbirth. Whenever I go to an appointment for women’s preventative health it costs me over $100 just for the copay. I absolutely hate them.
I have been trying for a week now to register an account through this app and the website and after filling in all fields it just spins and never progresses to actually set up the account.
Tried to use the “Find A Doctor” on both the website and the app. Each time a blank page comes up and I have no choice but to close the window and try again. No success and so frustrating. I used zocdoc instead.
I’m not sure if it’s due to the new update, BUT the app will not stay open and will continuously close for no reason. I’ve been trying to login and get a copy of our family’s insurance card for the last HOUR with ZERO success.
Recently the app won’t open. I will tap on it, and it will immediately close. It won’t even show me a loading screen. Absolutely useless as an app if it won’t even open properly. Please fix it.
Never works. Server is aways out of service. In the end you need to call BCBS and get stuck 1-2hours in a call gluing through representatives. I tried sometimes left a message for return call but BCBS NEVER calls back.
Every time I try to login, it says my account information is incorrect. Change my password, account information incorrect. Change it again, same results. Log in on webpage, works just fine. Fix your broken app.
I have to type in the password every time I open the app. In the past I can use my fingerprint to login but now it doesn’t give me that option or save the password .
It will not let me log in or register. When I register it tells me I exist already. On login it shows wrong PW or User. I can get in my account on a browser. Update: Now I tried to register with my member ID and get “Network Error”. Same when I try my SS number with my birthdate.
