It won’t let me log in, I put it my credentials and a message says “enter password”. Even though the password is in the field. It works on the website via multiple browsers. So this app that isn’t really an app more of an emulator of the website, is crap. Which is unfortunate
This app has been very buggy. I am running an iPhone 13 with everything up to date and it is very difficult to do even a simple task like sending a message. I can figure out ways around the bugs, but I can’t imagine the issues other people might run into. I suggest using the online portal on a desktop computer or opening it on your phone browser. In messages, the cursor shows in one place yet types in another- often times in between lines and 3 lines below where you’re actually typing. Sometimes I’ll click “send message” and it won’t send. Seems to be the same issue as the text one where the actual location of the button is below the physical placement of the button. There are also scrolling issues where the bottom of the screen disappears and it is impossible to click bottom links as it won’t allow you to scroll down. I had no issues with the app until this year so it clearly needs bug fixes.
They should have had the developers of Mass General work on this. The sign in page has a help windows that pops up and blocks the field for password until you hit the X. Typing in the message field to your provider won’t let you move the cursor toward the bottom without it thinking you want to open the photo attachment box. Your appointment page is not in order by date. But there’s no alternative so you’re stuck. It’s probably best only on a lap or desk top but def not on your phone. So frustrating.
The MyBaystate app is terrible. It makes it hard to find the information or update your information. I have the app for mass general and it’s much more user friendly and gives you way my information and lets you update your info and contact people. Also when you’re on the app it looks like you are on the web browser so the app is pointless if you have access to the web browser on your phone. Would not recommend
Login difficulties, unintuitive menu structure, non-standard navigation icons, and requires a separate sub-login just to pay your bill (you’d think Baystate would at least prioritize making it easy to pay them). This app seems rushed to market, and then abandoned.
Well-done!! So easy to use and full of important information. Very clear on how to navigate and communicate! So glad to have this excellent patient tool!!
As a developer myself, this application might be the biggest dumpster fire I’ve ever seen. It doesn’t even keep you logged in, doesn’t properly utilize the keychain, and has a giant close button in the web pop up that closes your session out. I could develop a better experience in my sleep.
Every time I log into the Baystate Health patient portal I am asked to reset my password, meaning to me that it’s an exercise in futility because they do not appear to possess the resources to save passwords while keeping them secure.
Have tried numerous time to set account up. No matter what I do it tells me my birthday is wrong. App doesn’t tell which format to use. No one from Baystate calls or e-mails back to help. Ugh
There was no place to enter my request to change the method of receiving alendronate from weekly by mouth to a n injection that was once suggested by Dr. Peluso. I can no longer reach the office by phone. I am 82 and struggling to take care of my medical needs because of this new method of communicating! I would like for Dr. Peluso to deliver the medication for my bones by injection rather than forgetting to take it weekly. Kate Haley
I have tried downloading and signing in to this app on 3 separate occasions spanning 2 phones and it always tells me “Password is required” after I enter my username and password. I can log into the website version with those same credentials on any mobile device or PC without any trouble. Something is wrong with your App.
