This app is extremely helpful with keeping track of all schoolwork and assignments. I’ve been using it for about two-three months now and it has literally saved me. I’ve tried out other apps to keep track of schoolwork, but this one is by far the best, because it allows you to streamline your process, all you need to do is quickly enter the title of your assignment, due date, and choose the class it belongs to, then instead of trying to keep track of your assignments in your head (if you’re anything like me you will forget half of them exist), you can just open that app and it provides a clear view of exactly what you need to get done. I’ve started to use this app to even keep track of meetings and other things outside of school because it works so well. A nice benefit is that for the necessary features it doesn’t require you to pay, although the premium version does allow you to have a few nice perks. Other apps sometimes require you to pay for features that are necessary, such as adding more than a set amount of assignments, but with MyHomework you get free reign, even with the free version. My only slight issue is that it doesn’t work very well in the multitasking view on iPad. Other than that, this app is amazing and I would highly recommend it.
I have been using this app for over a year, and let me say that this has saved my grades. I have a physical planner where I write down my homework, but by the middle of the year, I always seem to forget to write it down. Since I’m on my phone a lot, it’s so convenient to be able to quickly jot it down in this app. Literally, I could be relaxing and then I’ll get a notification that I have an assignment due tomorrow which I completely would’ve forgotten to do. It’s also convenient as a schedule since you can write down the name of your teacher, the room number, and the time/period your class starts. Even the color coding feature is super helpful since you remember what class the assignment is for easily and it’s great for aesthetic purposes. My only issue is right now is this glitch. I recently upgraded from an iPhone 6 to and iPhone 7. I noticed that there’s the whole screen is kinda shifted up from where it should be and some of the words get cut off, so I don’t know what I’m reading or writing down. It’s pretty annoying, so I hope you guys fix that asap.
Im a sophomore in high school and i often get slot of homework. School plus extracurricular means i have a very busy schedule and need something to help me stay organized. Before this app i used a paper planner which was great but sometimes inconvenient if i wanted to check if i had plans on a certain day or have homework due on a certain day but i don’t have my planner on me. So now that the new year 2024 has started i needed a new planner but i decided instead of buying on that i would look for a app. i tried one app b4 this which u didn’t like bc it didn’t have a calendar and you could put events or remídete . superrr inconvenient. This app literally had everything that I need and i can log what hw i have right when the teacher says it instead of having to get my planner and write it down . I’m super thankful for it . I recommend this app to any other high school student w extracurriculars and sometimes a busy schedule. ALSO this app works for ppl with A Days and B day schedule 👍👍👍👍👍
I’ve used so many different apps over the last couple years to try to manage my homework schedule, and this is the first one that has really worked for me. I can’t use physical planners because taking them out often seems like a hassle and I forget to check them for assignments. With the sync feature, I can put an assignment in on my phone or my computer, whichever I have out at the time, and not have to worry about pulling something out to put it down. I can copy links into the description for later use. The reminder feature doesn’t let me forget to check what’s due. The only improvement that would really matter to me is a way to set multiple reminders for one assignment, like one for two weeks out, another in a week, then 3 days out, 2 days out, and the night before. Sometimes I need regular reminders over a time period. Other than that I’m loving it and it’s really helped me keep up with my crazy schedule!
Just like me, you have probably been searching for the perfect app that will help you organize your student life. I kept downloading all of these different apps that I thought would be perfect, and they worked just fine, but they didn't meet all fo my needs. I felt the need to write this review so that people like your could finally know that your time of searching is done. This app is very similar to the other student planner apps, but it also has other qualities that other apps don't have. For example, if you are constantly being assigned reading or whatnot, you do not have to go in and put all of those bajillion of assignments in separately. There is a “repeat” option that, surprisingly, other homework apps don’t have. This app may not have the best ascetics (the background pictures can be blurry depending on which one you choose) but, and you can trust me on this one, this app will satisfy all of your needs. Period.
I have ADD and this app is nigh unto perfection for my “backup brain” to remind me what I have left to do and when, especially things a long way off. Sure, there are features I wish were free, but I understand something has to be in the paid version to fund high quality apps. I only gave 4 stars though because, as a college student, I’ll sometimes have individual classes cancel while the rest of my classes are still happening on a given day. If the class is at the beginning or end of the day, I can cheat and block it with an “early out” or “late start”, but when it’s in the middle of the day the closest to cancelling a class I can do is put an event “class cancelled” over it. It’s not a big deal, but it’s annoying when it seems like such a simple fix to add a single class cancellation option when every other feature has sooo much detail (which is great). Over all, not the biggest deal. I love editing assignments in bulk online and having them immediately on my phone. Great work!
This app was exactly what I needed to survive taking 20 credits! It helped stay on track and on top of everything! I was able to put in my schedule and all the assignments I had. There was even options for you to have assignments repeat (such as with weekly homework) so you don't have to put it in multiple times. The reminders you set for all the assignments and (if you want) for when each class starts is easily customizable to your needs. For example, I can set reminders for exams and projects a week in advance because those require more time whereas regular homework can be set to a day before or even a few hours before it's due. I did find that there was a slight glitch where you can't really edit all the repeating assignments even though you selected for it to do so, but that's not a big deal for me considering all the other useful features this has. I highly recommend this app!
I’ve probably downloaded about 20 different homework apps trying to find the best one. This by far has the most simplest design and easiest to use. Other homework apps wanted me to pay $35+ a year so the premium. This app was free but had a $4.99/per year upgrade that go rid of ads (which I didn’t really see any to begin with) and it also unlocked diffract color themes and you can pick which them best fits your needs (darker, more contrast, etc.) This has a full list of assignments and what comes net. And the calendar view is great. If there’s an assignment due the calendar put a little dot. And if there’s more than one due then it’ll put more than on dot. I also really like the widget feature so you can cross out assignments from ur lock screen. This app also syncs with different devices and there’s even a website you can view on ur computer. Over all I recommend this app

Don’t get me wrong. I love the app. It’s everything I need to quick me on track of my school since I’m extremely forgetful due to medical issues and multiple doctor appointments. I love how the year fee for the pro version is only 5 bucks and I can pay it in advance. My only question is how do you get reminders in the Am if the assignments are due at night? Update: I figured it out. If you have a due time that’s at 11:59 Pm. Just set the due time to an Am so you can be reminded in the morning instead of late at night. I love this app. It helped me bring my 68 D to a 74 C after midterms by reminding me of my assignments in advance. One of the side effects of my disability is cognitive impairment so I’m glad it reminds me of homework that I would have otherwise forgotten. Get this app and pay the $5 dollar premium fee. This will change your academic life.
It’s not a calendar app like I thought it would be, but it works for me nonetheless. It works really well for keeping track of school assignments, especially now that we’re online. You can enter any schedule you have (by period, by time, by block) and that was really helpful to me with the alternating days my school has in virtual. Also the assignment entering is really quick but versatile: it doesn’t make you spend fifteen minutes putting in an assignment, but it has things like level of priority, type of work it is, due date, class, etc. The only thing I would add is like a little slider thing you can adjust for how much work you’ve done on an assignment. I’ve had a few apps that do that and it helps me visualize what I need to do. Also a better way to view long term assignments on the calendar maybe.
This is a really great planner app! It is the only one that will do block scheduling, and I find the calendar very helpful!!! It’s really good to see my homework laid out that way. The reminders are also really great, it’s annoying to enter all my homework into reminders so this is a great alternative! I also think it’s helpful to colour coordinate the classes! I just have a couple of suggestions that might help improve the app. I think it would be helpful if you could pair your account with your google account, so you could see your homework and notifications on your computer and google calendar. Next, I think there should be an option to display your classes in the order you have them instead of alphabetical. Lastly, it would be nice if there was a search bar to look for specific assignments. All in all, this is a great app and it makes me feel good when I can check off and complete an assignment!
This the second semester that I’ve used them app for and it’s been really helpful for me. I like all of the views that they offer to see assignment, especially the calendar view. This semester, however, I’ve had an issue with late assignments. In past, complete a past due assignment if needed. Now the complete option does not appear for late assignments. This is annoying because sometimes I finish the assignment on time and just don’t get to updating the app for a day or two. Other times the assignment is late, but I still plan on doing it for partial credit (or for my own good). The only work arounds for it are to change the due date and then complete it and to then change the due date again. You could also delete it, but that would delete it from the database. Having the option to complete a late assignment doesn’t hurt anyone so I’m really not sure why they removed it. They could have made it a configuration at least.
I have been using MyHomework since my sophomore or junior year in high school, I am now just finishing my 3rd semester of college and still use the app daily. This app is what keeps me organized, I can’t even imagine how I’d remember to get all my assignments done on time without it. It works great even though none of my schools I’ve attended use it but I’m sure if it did that would be very convenient with the teacher integration and file sharing. I add all my events and homework and can attach files to my assignments on the app as well. I also have it shared to my icloud calendar so my events and assignments appear there as well, I have also shared it with my parents so they know what’s going on. I highly recommend this app and it is definitely worth the $5 a year subscription to get the extra features
This app is great. Now I dont forget to submit assignments on time. I missed a lot of assignments and had to work overnights to finish them, which of course I did by copying, but now I do them early all by myself... The UI and the themes are simply amazing. It is smooth and looks great. The reward points seems interesting. I can get items just by watching few apps. A theme for 120 seconds of my time. These are really good but I wish there were few more features for classes: 1. Same week but different time: My classes are scheduled at different time in a week which makes it hard to build my schedule. Example: My mathematics class are on Monday and Tuesday but the times is different. On Monday, its from 7:30 to 9:15 but on Tuesday, its from 9:00 to 10:45. I couldn’t figure out how to separate these classes. 2. If only it was possible to see all the classes that I have today. When I have 5 classes I only see 4 even after tapping (Show more). 3. It would be great if I could see my tomorrow’s schedule right from the widget. 4. A graduation hat theme... that would be motivational. Thank you. Developers for this wonderful app. If it was possible to pay and remove ads permanently, I’d throw my money on it.
I was hit with a ton of homework a few weeks ago and always forgot to write in my agenda when I had homework. Midway through the week, I decided to look for an app that I could easily put in my homework while walking through the halls or toward the end of class without the hassle of getting my agenda out and putting it back. I found this app and it is my holy grail at the moment. I love all of the features and I have had a lot less stress about homework since I have gotten it! It reminds me when I have something due when I tell it to remind me. Sometimes thats a day before and sometimes its a few hours before hut I never forget now. It is a great app and I HIGHLY suggest ditching your paper agenda downloading this app. You will not regret it!
I love this app and it help me stay on track. However I wish they added these features that would make the app 100% better. 1) in the task tab (where it shows all the things you need to do), I wish it was divided in weekly sections, instead of all in one block /list. This way, users can get a feeling of accomplishment and better organization: “okay I completed this week’s work. Let me start on next week’s.” But instead it feels like the work is never ending bc there so many things within just one list. 2) i wish for the “completed “ switch, I wish there was also bar that you can move to determine what percent of the assignment have you done “10 percent completed” 3) I wish there was a checklist you can add to each task, that way you can break down the work 4) it would be cool to add multiple assignments for a class in one go instead of adding each assignment one by one. 5) lastly, for assignments that have a specific time due (due at 9:30 pm), i wish you can see on the overall list when each assignment is due when entered to the app, instead of clicking each assignment individually to check. I love that app and don’t really feeling downloading multiple apps and re-adding each assignment due date, so imma just stick with this one!
I got this app in the beginning of my junior year and I used it every single day throughout the year. I am still using it now even in the summer to keep track of college visits, work etc. I tried many other apps similar to this one and this is by far the best one. 99% of the features are accessible without a premium subscription and I don’t feel pressured to upgrade unlike other apps. The organization and functionality is amazing. I love that fact that I can add early dismissal and no school days on the calendar which I haven’t seen in any other apps. Also love the details you can add with classes like your schedule type, times, teachers and color coding. I definitely recommend this app!
I've been using this app for a few years now and I absolutely love it. I have problems staying organised and this app helps tremendously. But for almost a year now, I've been having a slight bug when I set custom themes. When I set one, close the app, then come back to the app, it tells me that there was a problem loading my theme and that I should check my internet connection and try again. It could be 5 minutes later or it could be 2 days later, the result is the same. My wifi, which is what I use for it 99% of the time, isn't spotty, and it does the same thing when my phone is on data. This is my only issue that I'm having and I understand that this is a bug, not a feature. If the devs could work on it, that would be amazing.
I’ve been doing online college since before it was cool and let me tell you, this application is by far the most important one I use. At the start of every semester I sit down for about an hour and a half and go through my syllabus writing down dates for each thing that is due on this app. It is so incredibly organized and I love the fact that they even give you an option to organize classes by color! You seriously need this app as a student and the fact it connects to every single one of your iOS devices is so helpful! Just get it already and ACTUALLY TRY IT OUT. Don’t give up when you realize that you actually have to write your assignments in the boxes lol. You’re gonna love it!
This app Is so helpful and efficient because is keeps you track on your classes and teachers, but the one thing that I didn't like was that you had to find your school if it wasn't on there, mine wasn't so I had to search then invite my teacher,after all the app is very helpful it keeps me updated on the newest tasks and it send notifications of when a test comes up or when you have to turn In things, I give this app a 4/5 because of the searching my school thing,I love this app and I also love that you get to add themes and a profile picture and use this app without any connection!! So overall I love this app a lot it's helpful to students so they keep they homework/classes all organized
Overall, I really like this app a lot. It's by far the easiest to use planner app that I've tried, and it's helped me out a lot. The only complaint I have is that when I go to the classes tab, it lists all my classes in alphabetical order rather than in my actual class scheduled order (ex. Rather than my 1st block chemistry class being listed first, my 8th block algebra class is displayed first in the list.) This bothers me so so so much. I also want my hw assignments to be listed according to my schedule order as well. This may seem like a tiny little hindrance, but it has actually been incredibly frustrating and confusing for me when I'm trying to prioritize my assignments. Please please please fix this.
This app has really helped me to much in college. While I am normally against apps that I’m not 100% happy with its UI, this app is a total exception. While at times visual parts aren’t my favorite this app is perfect for seeing all my work in one place. Many of my professors use different websites so being able to compile the work and sort by many filters is so awesome. I love the effortless entry and syncing across devices. The checking off of tasks helps me so much to stay motivated by actually seeing my work load get crossed off. I definitely recommend any student at least try it, because after one semester I ended buying the premium.
I really find this app super helpful! I’ve just started using it because online classes are much harder to keep up with without the use of a planner. My only suggestion is that it would be super awesome to be able to place more than one reminder for each assignment. Oftentimes, I’m not one to finish the whole assignment immediately, and if it’s a big paper or project, I need multiple reminders spanning over several weeks. Right now, I’m just putting one reminder and then when I finish that portion of a project, I edit the assignment and set a new reminder for a couple days later. It would be wonderful to not have to do this. Other than this, I haven’t found any other annoyances. Thanks for the awesome homework app!
I started my school year with a written planner, try to keep track of day by day assignments, which almost never worked, I kept forgetting to write stuff down or just deciding not too write it down. This app makes it super easy to quickly put down assignments sorted by class and due date. It also gives me a warning when I have an assignment due the next day, which is very helpful for a forgetful person like me. It also has a very nice feature where things that are due the next day are written in red to make sure you know that they are due. Over all this is an amazing app and I truly advise that if you are looking for a good free planner app this is the perfect one.
i love this app and have found it very helpful. however i do have some suggestions. i wish you could set multiple reminders for the same assignment (two nights before, night before, day of) and have the option to make the push notification persistent and not disappear once the phone is unlocked. i also wish you could be able to sync your phone calendar with the calendar on the app so when making doctors appointments and such with my phone calendar, i am able able to see what classes i have that day and what assignments are due. overall this app is super helpful and i totally recommend it, just wish there were some more accessibility tools.
I’m a student and I’m using this app because I get assigned a lot of work and with them switching programs every year and having to learn new ones it’s difficult to keep up with everything I have to do. With this app I’m able to write down the assignment as she’s telling me when it’s due then when it’s completed mark it as done super easy. However I have this one teacher and let’s just say I need evidence that I turned my work in on time so when I went to go attach a file it said I need to sign up and get the subscription that’s no problem but the problem I did have is that it would not let me sign up. No matter what I tried it kept kicking me out the signup screen ever time I pressed finish to finish signing up.
This app has been so so useful for me! As a Freshmen in High School I’m gonna be totally honest, I use my phone a whole lot, so an app is always what I turn to first for anything. In High School it’s a LOT of work, and I love to keep organized with due dates and assignments. This app is phenomenal, it’s so specific with the dates and it allows me to choose what kind of assignment it is, when it’s due, when the class ends, what school schedule your school uses ( Periods, block schedule, etc.) it even lets me choose the colors that I would like the classes to be in, which for me it’s pretty amazing! All in all I RECOMMEND FOR ALL STUDENTS 7-12 AND EVEN 5-6!!! It’s a great app 👍
I use MyHomework App for my entire to-do list during the school year. Since my university doesn’t subscribe, I do have to enter everything manually, but it is very simple. My favorite part is that when assignments change, I can easily switch due dates and classifications. I copy and paste assignment descriptions from my online syllabi. It keeps everything in order for me with color coding and prioritizing. It’s my favorite website AND app combination out there. I’ve used it five semesters now, and it has made my life so simple. I do most everything on the computer, but I can quickly check to see what’s due on the app. I highly recommend it.
I am Currently using a M1 Macbook Pro (2020)(MacOS Ventura), iPad Air 3rd Gen(iPad OS16.1), and iPhone 13 Pro Max(iOS16.1) for this APP, diffrent devices may differ diffrent results,Software(OS) as will differ experanices. This app works amazing with Schoology/Powerschool. My assingments automaticlly sync into a callender format, and notifications work as well. without the intergration of PowerSchool/Schoology I could see it being more difficult to use though. Works well and when ive completed a assingment and turned it into schoology I just go into myHomework and swipe the assingment away. The system marks it as completed and will alert you in app when due dates are near. Highly reccomed if your Orginizers have it setup with there systems.
I’m one of those students that always has their planner and is writing every little thing down then highlighting or crossing them out once they are completed. Having it all on an app that can actually send me a notification when something is due soon, and having all of the assignments, the class, and the due date right there without having to flip through pages is amazing. The only problem I have seen is when adding multiple assignments, it gets a little slow when typing. Clearing out the app and continuing again fixes it for a bit of time so it isn’t that big of a deal.
For a long time I have loved the organization and accessibility that the app offers. I enjoy the point system that has been added but the notifications are getting on my nerves. In the past, MyHomework has simply notified me at noon whenever something is due the next day and it will leave red badges outside of the app. Recently the app constantly has the red badges on the app even if nothing is due. It is a small problem but to someone who stresses about getting work done whenever they see the red badges, it is something that I would appreciate to be changed. Other than that, the app is great even with the ads. I recommend this app as long as my problem is solved. Good luck!
I love this app and will continue to use it throughout my academic career, but I was very underwhelmed after purchasing it (versus using the free version). As a free app, myHomework is top-notch. As a paid app, one would expect more than the ability to change your theme and save very small sized documents. My very doable suggestions for improvement would be the ability to add multiple reminders (at least two), the ability to import data from syllabuses, and increased document capacity. It would also be nice if myHomework had the ability to sync across other calendar apps, but that suggestion is more of an organising perk than a necessity.
I love this app overall, it can keep track of my homework and schedule which was exact what I wanted! Minor fixes to make would be: 1. I put in my class schedule and hit “Calendar” on the side. I selected one of the days to see if my schedule would show up. My schedule did show up BUT it was all out of order, despite the fact that I did put in both the class period and time. 2. I wanted to select a new theme for the app. It told me I needed to either watch 20 ads to earn coins (which I didn’t mind) or pay 4.99 a year to have all of them. I was just going to watch the ads, but after I watched the first ad, instead of giving me the coins, it just kept loading. Overall though, other than the 2 minor bugs, I really like this app, and it does an excellent job of keeping me organized all for free (mostly.) I’ve gone through many organization apps and this one, is by far the best. I would completely recommend this app to High Schoolers, College students, and could even be used for middle schoolers. Great app for disorganized people😉😂
I love being able to have everything shown all in one place. I love the color coding and the weekly/monthly view as well. I just feel like some of the premium things shouldn’t but for premium. Like being able to attach pdfs to your assignments. Most of the time I have so much work that I have to sit and search for what I’m supposed to be working on. It would be nice to just be able to go and be like “oh, I have to do this.” and be able to simply click on it. I don’t think we should have to pay to able to do that. Otherwise, I love it! It’s great.
I just started using this app earlier this school year, and it is probably one of the best homework apps I’ve seen on the App Store. I love how it organizes your classes and assignments. I also love how you can easily access it on a computer to add assignment like you can on your phone. It even had a dedicated app on the App Store in MacOS. The only reason I’m only giving 4 stars is because sometimes the app can become quite laggy and freeze up. I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall the app a few times to solve the issue. The Apple Watch app is also quite glitchy and doesn’t function as intended (at least in my case)
I’m someone who loves stuff like this to help me get all A’s. I have a very functional google doc that keeps track of my number grades, letter grades, for what class, and what teacher. It really is amazing. At the bottom of the doc I’ve been keeping track of things that aren’t on my classes homework schedule. I’ve deleted that and now use this in its place. It’s absolutely perfect. They go hand in hand. I might like it to look a little bit prettier but it’s well laid out. I like the sidebar, but the actual homework section could be prettier. Like maybe another font, color, you know. A bit more aesthetically pleasing.
Works really well as a method to compile assignments into one place and organize a semester’s schedule. However, the calendar is a bit lacking, having only a view of assignments and no good way to view class schedules and changes in that schedule. The themes are locked behind a paywall or a point system that makes no sense. I’ve been using this app for nearly 2 years and I still have no idea how to get points to unlock themes. So, unless you pay money I hope you like white and blue. Overall, a great app and I will continue to use it as long as I am in school, but I would love to see improvements.

I loved this app as an undergrad! I used it for years, because it organized all my homeowrk for five differents classes by due dates, right down to when each class started. It's tough when you get five separate syllabi, to navigate your workload. The UI used to be easy to navigate, but now its nearly impossible. I redownloaded this app for grad school, but I noticed immediately it had changed. First of all, every time I try to set the class times, the app won't let me type anything. It autoselects 9 am. This doesn't work, becuase now my homeowrk won't be sorted based on due date. I can't change or edit the start time at all. Furthermore, the app barely works when it's not full screen. Whatever this buggy mess is, they should never have changed the app.
I’ve always had such a hard time with organization and writing down assignments. But this is so easy to use. I was worried that MyHomework would be super ineffective and a pain without paying for the premium features but I was wrong! As a college student every penny counts. I wish I’d found this while I was in high school. The color organization and prioritizing is definitely my favorite feature. The only thing I’d change about this app is adding a dark mode. It’s easy enough to navigate that I don’t dread opening the app. If you’re disorganized and want to change that DOWNLOAD!!!
This app is great and easy to use for anyone going to any type of school. It is completely customizable for any type of schedule. You can choose when you want it to send a notification for homework and you can put in all your classes. It has saved me time and effort so I don't have to carry a planner around and I can just take out my phone and see what I have due the next day. However keep in mind teachers may not let you have your phone out at all. I explained to them I had my planner on here. This app has kept me organized very easily and has helped my grades drastically.
I’ve been using this app for about 4 years now and it has been amazing. I’m the type of person that’s very forgetful and it’s really hard for me to remember what I have for homework or other school assignments, so this app is like heaven since I’m able to see what I’ve accomplished and what I need to get done. It is especially helpful now since we’re in quarantine and are having school/work at home. Not being able to go to school has really taken a toll on me and my academic performance, but having an amazing app to organize my classes and create a schedule for me is just awesome.
I am a new college student and having an entire weeks worth of assignments thrown at me at once for five classes can feel very overwhelming but using this app helped my organization SO MUCH. Being able to organize assignments into classes an by due date really helps me to be able to look at all my assignments and section out what I need to get done for that specific week. I put in all my assignments for the whole semester and now I can see what I have to do for the upcoming weeks without stressing. I seriously love this app!
This app is totally amazing for students. I especially love the feature that lets you choose which type of schedule that your school operates on. My only complaint is that I wish that there were just a couple more background colors to pick from. I get that they want you to upgrade to premium, but even being able to have just a plain white background would be nice. I have had this app since 2018 so I don’t know what it is like when you download it now, but I am just stuck with this awful sickly pink color. Again this is just a tiny complaint that in no way affects the usefulness of the app and I still 100% recommend it.
Glitches change my assignment due dates and it drives me crazy!
I would love this app if it didn’t constantly glitch and change the due dates of my assignments or delete them or repost deleted ones. I’ve had to go back and change my entire syllabus twice in both my classes because of glitches and I said if I had to do it one more time I’d just delete the app and find something else because it’s a waste of my time at this point. Well I just went on it to complete some of my homework and found all of my assignments in one of my classes with different dates than I had entered and I’m not about to go back and redo all of that AGAIN. I have the latest version, my phone is updated, and I’ve even redownloaded the app to see if that would help. Nothing, so I give up.
This was the perfect homework planner app when it wasn’t laggy! There is a glitch that occurs when I try to check off assignments that causes a different assignment than the one I checked off to be checked off. This happens when the app lags. This is a problem when it checks off the wrong assignment and I am no longer able to see it which sometimes causes me to forget about assignments! Also the app is laggy and slow so I bought premium to see if that would fix it and it didn’t. No other planner app that I tried has the capabilities MyHomework has, so I’m sticking with it. I just wish they would fix the bugs.
This app is great! I have been using a physical planner throughout my student years and have either not had enough room in my planner to fill everything I need to or it was too big to carry around everywhere. I decided I was going to use an app. This app organizes homework in such a simple yet organized way! I know where everything is and it’s easy to know what homework you have/haven’t done. It’s also super easy to put in homework. I love how all the classes are color coded and it is super easy to add homework to those particular classes! Will be using this for a while :)
myHomework has been great to me the last seven years from being a freshman in middle school to being a freshman in college. A lot of people are complaining that the app is not working or it wasn't like it was before, but that's because if you're using a Mac or Macbook, you have to make sure to download the Chrome extension version of myHomework. That's the one that has a smoother UI and doesn't have any problems. The app over here in the app store doesn't work for Macs and Macbooks like the developer writes in the app description.
I love this app, it has organizing so nice. I love so many details on it and its tendency to give you many ways to look at your assignments. PLEASE LISTEN TO MY SUGGESTION. When you go the calendar section you shouldn't have to click on the days to see what events you have. It should be showed like across the day like a bar or something where you can see everything for the week side by side without having click on it. Google calender does a great job of this. Still love this app, please listen to customer suggestions because this could be a deal breaker for me:/
There needs to be a way to schedule when you don’t have class on a day you regularly would (ie. Because it was cancelled or during breaks). Kinda annoying for it to list all the classes I have when its a holiday. Also this glitch just started but it normally fills in the time an assignment is due as the time the next class starts if you fill in the class before the due date. However, now when you hit save it makes it one day later, even though it displays the correct day you have class in the menu. Also there should just be a way to turn this off.
I love most of everything about this app. It has helped me stay efficient and productive on assignments, etc. One suggestion that would be helpful along with this app is calculating points per assignment and having a feature where I can mark a quiz, for example, as missed. I was absent for a quiz, and most professors allow drops of quizzes. And it would be nice and helpful to track what I have missed. But in the app, I have to either delete the assignment or mark it as complete. Which I do not like. Overall, I love the app. Hopefully they could add those two features. That would make it a 5 star for me, personally
