My appointment today
About 12 years ago my boyfriend was at lvh frequently for cancer treatments. My experience was not great to say the least. Most of the nursing staff was cold and I felt like the love of my life was just a medical experiment. As I argued to be allowed in his room, because we weren’t married, and waking up in the early mornings to a room of students talking about his condition as if he wasn’t there. Because of that I have avoided lvh as much as possible. I stopped in today to pick up my sleep study. As usual a bit uneasy being in a lvh facility. Doris put me right at ease. She is an incredibly beautiful soul and an amazing nurse. I walked out of an lvh facility smiling for the first time in over a decade. And yes, I have been there a few times over the years. I wish every nurse was like Doris.

Contacting for Appts
I spent about 5 hours today trying to make an appointment For Pulmonary testing. I had looked for phone numbers on the app. I could not get through to the testing place because of a problem. I was told to try again later. So I tried hard to get a number for my pulmonary doctor. There were service problems. Call back, so I got in touch by sending a message. Put her name search, it didn’t show up to message. I filled out an entire ‘paper’, on the pc. I gave my whole history, medical cards, the nurse wrote back and said I would have to pay for a phone visit. I wrote back that I only needed to make an appt. And cancel that $150 visit! The nurse wrote back, and gave me their phone number, so for the second time, there was a service or technical problem. I tried a little later, and it worked!!! After several hours of trying ! A very nice person took my call, and sent me to a person at Muhlenberg to make my app.!!! Not for the people working, but for me, this was quite frustrating. I do not like this app, and never did. I always have to dig and did for info. The app is only good for reminding me of appts.

Seriously lacking
E check-in for appointments sounds great, and would be, except it doesn’t actually check you in. I’m still not sure what the intended utility of this feather was supposed to be. You still have to wait in line and wait to check in with staff, which makes that feature a complete waste of time. Plus, they often end up asking you the same questions that one answered in the e check in anyway. Making appointments is also often a futile endeavor. In trying to schedule an appointment for a flu shot, I’ve been told for a couple of months that they aren’t available anywhere in the network. Whether that’s true or not, it’s not good. It’s nice to get ones test results to review, and the ability to integrate my appointments (made over the phone, not the app) automatically with my calendar is nice. Other than that, this app does little to facilitate an improved customer experience and in fact often achieves the opposite. I sense LVHN has an app only because they felt that everyone else did so they should, too.

Great App, but...
I love the app, but the new version looks so cluttered and things seem to be all over the place. It's not only me but my entire family I have added on my account so it seems that every time I open the app, there are a million messages zoomed into my screen. Overall, the app is informational and helpful but I don't like the newer version and I wish I was able to go back to the previous one that's simpler to look at and things were easier to be found. Note: I am a computer savvy person so that is not the problem. Imagine older people who had to learn the previous version and now they need to learn all this new clutter! Just my humble opinion.

Useful and Timely
I have been using the MyLVHN app for years. For myself and my husband, and then through the births of our children. The app even changes to a very helpful in-hospital view when I’ve been admitted for care. Adding to our family through the app is easy and convenient. The ease with which I am able to connect with providers, even with general questions, is so helpful, as one of my children has T1 diabetes. My only cause for complaint is that I wish there were a whole family calendar view for appointments.

My LVHN App
I love the fact that I can keep all my medical records in one place. They are easy to find. I also like the messaging ability. I don’t have to call the office and waste all that time to wait for an answer. All your doctors are listed and you have the ability to look for a doctor also. You can set up or cancel appointments, set up a virtual visit easily, and it is linked (if you choose to in settings) to St. Luke’s app My Chart. If you have any medical care at that hospital. It is so easy to switch between the two. There is also information you can access about your or any medical issues. I’ve been using this app almost since it was available. Overall, I think this app is amazing.

Great program but there are limitations
I love how quickly information is populated, appointments are tracked, and medications are listed. I love how I can visit my test results. I also love that I can check-in prior to a visit. It expedites visits both in time and efficiency, allowing the patient and provider time for well-informed discussions when necessary. I wish I could enter dates of vaccines, well-visits, and other preventative care appointments that are not in this network. For example, in January of 2019, I had a colonoscopy. It was done through Eastern PA Gastrology. My well -visits are every 6 months with Dr. Slompak from AMC Medical Associates. There is no way for your system to verify this. So, my medical history is not quite complete in your system.

LVHN portal
I have been wanting to write this feedback for sometime now. I was active in the LVHN system with health issues prior to Epic and after it was in play. I know the difference. And it is palpable. So much better. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the MYLVHN patient portal. Here’s to you for offering a way for patients to communicate and partner with their personal health care professionals. It’s an awesome tool the has changed the way I see and manage my heath issues. This is a stress reliever for me. It has been the best thing to happen to my health care process. With one stop for all communication. History and reminders this single handed provides me with peace of mind and eliminates any stress that I feel whenever I need help with a large or small medical issue. Shout out to the Doctors and their staff for staying on top of the communications within that tool. Thank you for continuing to streamline this tool. Keep it up. Diane Haviland

Differenting opinions!
9/1/23 I was sent from Express Care to LVHN ER! I was met & taken in quickly! Immediately I was hooked up to machines and doctors started exploring what caused my strange symptoms and later decided to keep me overnight to rule out a TIA or detached retina! By the next morning the unit doctors determined I had an infection in my eye and started to treat it!! I was surprised at the big difference in opinions between ER & unit doctors!! Both sets were very attentive and kind! I was released to come home Saturday afternoon! Of course I am relieved it turned out to Not be a problem with my brain! And the infection seems to be getting better! I compliment your service!

It not just about making money!
I’ve just moved here to Macungie Pa. and being 89 I felt I’d best make certain of my health needs. So, after a little investigation I went to see a heart specialist doctor. He was great, efficient, and set me up for tests being I had a triple bypass in 2014. After filling out a request by the hospital network, I found it came back to me with recommendations a nd they were great, I followed them and am now completely part of their System! Coming into a new town and state I’m now secure in knowing I’ll be looked after if the need comes. Thank you LVHN!!!

Overall opinion of the Lehigh Valley Health Network
Having moved to this area in December 2023, I needed all new medical professionals. I was coming from the Comonwealth health network along with occasional Geisinger heath. I have found my doctors and facilities are above what I have been use to The constant updating of my medical appointments including tests, doctor or hospital tests/procedures keep me up to date and rapidly offers the visit and test results. Time is given for my questions and explanations from the doctors and or staff. This 73 year old truly appreciates all you do.

Outstanding all-around Health App
I’m in the medical field and I’ve never used this app but I’ve heard of it. This app is terrific whether you’re a provider or patient. The communication is outstanding looking at it from the patient perspective! The fact that I communicate with my doctors in real time and they respond in minutes if available is simply terrific. Specially, when you can avoid the hassle of calling or having to drive to the facility. Makes life easier for everyone!!! I wish I could give it more stars!!

I just wanted to let you know how happy we are with the new Lehigh Valley Carbon in the last few months. We’ve used a lot of your services and we appreciate how professional and kind your staff is. We have never met a person on your staff who has a bad attitude you should be applauded for your staff. My husband just spent three daysin the hospital and he said it was the best hospital stay he’s ever had not that anyone likes the hospital stay we use all the doctors at Lehigh Carbon and we are pleased with all their services

I love “ My LVHN”
I can see all my test sometimes the same day, and see how the test results rate in the normal range. I can leave messages for my Dr. I can add and remove medication from my records. My records are part of EPIC which allow me to share them with St Luke’s, which some of my Dr s are St Luke’s Doctors and those records are shared with my LVHN doctors also. I also get reminders of all appointments with all my doctors. I can “e checkin” which allows me to over my records and meds before I get to my appointment. I recommend “ My LVHN” for every patient

I have had a incredible experience working with Dr. Vengrove and his team. I’m so grateful for the follow up on my health issues and the attention to the extra measures to get to some answers for my continued health concerns. The prompt response has been so reassuring and I have felt like my questions and concerns have been answered and communicated with such thoughtfulness! The top notch care has been refreshing and helpful in a million ways.

Confusion
I have had so many problems with making and getting a mn appointment. First the receptionist making appointments say I had an appointment but the actual unit which was neurology said they never got that message. So I was there for my appointment and was told I had no appointment! So my next appointment was for May something but I could see the Crnp. Well I came down with something and had a terrible cold. So I had to cancel. So far May is the only appointment I have. I have increasing symptoms which I’m concerned about. I never heard of having to wait several months for an appointment. Botha offices, appointments and neurology department need to learn how to communicate and work together. Frustrating

Horrible, needs improvements
I forgot my password and instead of prompting me to create a new one it disables my account. I can’t even reactivate the account online- I have to call a hotline. I understand doing this for security purposes but I only typed my password in three times and it did this. I was trying to check the date of my doctors appointment- now I’m locked out of my account with no clue as to this appointment date. I’ll have to call tomorrow and hope I didn’t miss anything- as it’s extremely late in the evening right now. This is a bit extreme. I wouldn’t mind calling if the phone calls were quick- but I’m always stuck on this hotline for quite a long time. It’s just not a convenient service.

My HVMN app
It is a nice layout, some quirks are stuff like menus being touch sensitive when trying to expand so I can read my info/results. I like using app for refills I like being in control when I need a script filled Pharmacy seems to want to take to refill when I still have meds. I would like to be able to switch Pharmacies within the app even like a recommended mail-order I am not sure which I can trust.

I have been with LVHN for over 15 years and I have had nothing but amazing experiences with most all staff I came in contact with... I have managed to find a doctor for every type of issue I am having and am able to use the app where everything is in one place and extremely user-friendly.. I am grateful to be a part of the LVHN network... thanks

Stay in the hospital
I been in that hospital multiple times but my recent experience was the worse I ever had the nurses are useless I couldn’t get out of bed a press the call button they took forever to come so I end up getting up by myself they dinf like that but what I was supposed to do if they don answer the calls I had a ng tube call because I was feeling sick I ended vomiting with that but on my stomach the 3 days I was there didn’t see snow one cleaning the room never offer me thing to wash my self I will never return to that Hospital the worse in Bethlehem

Great info! No waiting!
I really enjoy using the app for many things. I use after visit summaries to track my weight and blood pressure. But the best part is the lab work! It gives you the results as soon as their ready which is great. No waiting for your next doctor visit. It also gives you the scale so you can tell if your results are in the normal range.

Not so awesome
It been now a year I’ve been using this app and it worked fine till then but suddenly it stoped working as a I am saying this a couple weeks before I had a sneaked shot from a doctor I guess when I was getting my pregnancy birth control shot so not cool, now can’t trust them no more at Lehigh Valley Hospital. It was one of my 4 shots that I needed to complete and no if I wanted to get it I would and don’t want to get the flue shot which was in my shots to be updated and never got one so think but believe I have got it by a doctor that haven’t told me that he would give it to me previously and got very very very ill of it for a month and lost my job. No more of this BS

Communication
I would like to be able to reach out to my doctor , other than sending messages through text messages, it unprofessional and rude. I can not even get through to the clinic because no one picks up the phone is goes directly to a computer telling me to leave messages. No cars in parking lot waiting room empty everyone is just sitting around. But still can not get someone to answer the phone or to relate any information. So here I am day three and still cannot get anyone to answer the phone ,

Easy to use and always available
While I prefer using the website directly when I have access to my PC, the app is very convenient (and occasionally crucial) to use away from my desk. I can see test results as soon as they are available and am able to message my providers when questions arise.

LVHN Portal
We love the portal. We can see test results in less than a day, often the same day. You can read the full test result report. You can ask your doctors a question. It reminds you of appointments and tells you where your appointment is. You can compare past test results and you can see graphs of them to see trends.

Medication
No matter how many times I tell my healthcare providers when I have a medication change, they never remove the old medication. My med list seems like it is NEVER correct. One time an ER nurse entered a medicine incorrectly and when I told her she had the wrong medication on my chart, she entered the correct medication but was having trouble removing the one she entered incorrectly. So, she just LEFT INCORRECT MED ON MY CHART To date both meds sit on my chart and it looks like Im on the same medication with 2 different dosages. I have asked several people to remove it but to no avail. This is a very serious problem

It is the best that medical provider has done
I am super satisfied and I recommend 100% everything is much more easier; especially when you go to the doctors office you can e-checking and also keep track of everything do not need to be calling doctors office to get info since you have everything there.

Efficient and organized.
This app keeps me organized across several different doctors and therapies I go to. I travel for work and sometimes need to reschedule appointments. This app makes that so easy. Also, I can review my prescriptions and ask for refills online. All of my records are available for all of my caregivers.

Patient portal app
This app could be useful but it isn’t. It’s very confusing and difficult to navigate. It’s frustrating when trying to review test results and after visit summaries. when asked to select one of the providers off the list when trying to send a message half of the doctors listed I have never had before and half the doctors that I am trying to message are not listed so there’s no way to even communicate with all of the providers who are treating me through the portal. I find this app to be more of a nuisance than it is useful.

Billing
Absolutely horrible service. Went there for a workman’s comp case and was forced to give my insurance which they ended up billing. After making them aware of it was told in a email which I still have. That it was switched over to workman’s comp and I am still receiving bill notifications. Left messages for billing again to let them know it wasn’t taken care of and now I’m getting more notifications of money due. Ridiculous!!! Would not recommend anyone ever going to this poorly run outfit. Lord only knows what you will be billed for

I’ve been to quite a few drs appt since moving here in Oct. I came from Abington hospital. I am extremely happen with the drs. And their staff. Everyone is always happy and happy to help!! Always Very attentive, eager to listen, and patient!! I can’t say that about Abington. We love this area and so glad we love our docs and their staff!!

Complete care
I use to go to a facility for care a few years ago and had to wait for a long time, didn’t get the proper attention required. Since I’ve been affirmed with LVHN I am always seem at an adequate time also I get complete attention and care from all of their facilities and associates.

Problems with scheduling
A lot of appointments can’t be scheduled through the app you have to be an established patient, and even then I always have problems getting appointments through the app. Most of the time it won’t let me reschedule through the app as well. Hard to find information from my record. Took me at least an hour to find my blood type.

Prescription refills are even easier
Logging on to the application to do prescription refills is very easy. Simply go to the prescription page, find the medication you need and confirm the pharmacy and your done. You don’t need to pronounce the name of the drug or know the dosage because it is in the app! Thanks!

It would be nice if it worked
I always have a problem with video visits, the app constantly kicks me out when I have appointments, which are often and all video visits. It’s not on my end. Other than that the new format is a bit of a cluster and not user friendly or organized in a manner that makes sense. I eventually find what I’m looking for after quite a few clicks. Maybe change the UX on the Home Screen.

Nothing but Net
Everything you need to do or know on a easy to use network. Also, the ability to view test results and provider notes is what I can read to my nurse daughter instead of trying to remember everything.

This app needs some updating!
While trying to log in, app crashes on iPhones. Takes about 5-6 retries until being able to connect. Billing needs revamping. If you are paying time payments, if you incur any other bills, you cannot pay those separately. You are locked out from paying the subsequent copay.

I love it because you can actually speak to someone real. No answering machines and they are there to answer all of your questions or just to tell you what you need to do it’s a great app for your phone if you’re a neat freak because I hate mail and paperwork !

Features much appreciated
I so very much appreciate being able to see my lab results BEFORE I see my doctor. It is extremely helpful to contact my physician when a prescription refill is about to expire. It it helpful to have all of my health reports in one place for me and my doctors to have access. It is super helpful to be able to message my medical team questions or concerns that I have about my health, and then to receive a reply! My Chart is - a great tool and technology to assist me in managing my health and to thrive. Thank you J.M.M.

Don’t like…
I enjoy using the app at home and on the go. However, I do not enjoy the part of going to the appointment to be asked the same questions I already answered online for the same appointment. This kind of multi tasking overwhelms me to the part where I literally freak out to where I have an anxiety attack.

The LVHN app is a very convenient way to read after-visit summaries; ask you doctor a question and get a very prompt answer (usually same day or next day); and see your scheduled LVHN appointments all in one place. I find it extremely convenient.

Easy to use
Love the portal. Makes check-in a lot quicker, you can pay online, schedule appointments, you can message your care team, just to name a few. Highly recommend this app.

App support
I believe it would be beneficial if there were a place on the app to be able to communicate with the provider. For example, there was an error on the follow up notes on today’s PT. I would like to correct that, but there’s no place to communicate with the physical therapist.

Errors
So I needed to schedule a PCR COVID Test, but when I click on “Schedule Test” a page opens asking me which vaccine I would like to schedule, COVID or Flu. I wanted to schedule a test, not receive a vaccine! Frustrating! Also, there should be a way for me to enter information myself, such as a positive HOME COVID test. Now there is no record of me having COVID in my chart. Frustrating again!

Excellent medical center
I drive over an hour to see my Dr because he’s such a great doctor that I followed him from him being local to him being so far away. It’s very much worth it to me. And the staff are just wonderful. Keep up the great work!!! 😁

Excellent care
Had a recent knee replacement surgery. Dr. Godbut and the entire medical team were excellent. My stay overnight was also good. My nurses Yedaida (Day) and Meghan were professional, knowledgeable and caring. My PT team, Colby and Broc have also been great. So far my experience has been very good.

Needs improvement
Great application to help keep track of appointments, meds, and all important info. to one’s health. However, I find that the app is not user friendly. It fails to load when trying to get to other areas of the app. to get information. Needs more work to not allow the application to run slow.
