Sure wish NBC29 would consider having a separate weather app with a future cast radar. You might consider looking at other stations to replicate their weather. Two suggestions would be WLEX out of Lexington, KY and WKYT out of that same area. I still use those apps, but can’t get weather alerts from them in this area. Such a shame to combine news and weather in one app.
The recent format update is terrible. News stories aren’t updated as frequently and there seems to be less news; just multiple links for the same few articles. Also, I have to search through a menu to find local news, instead of just one click. Please bring back the old format!
Near as I can figure, I got a pop-up ad as soon as I selected news. when I cleared off the ad, the site went to a white screen which I could not leave. This makes the app unusable of course so I deleted it. Hopefully, I’m the only one having this problem. Why do news organizations have such a hard time getting this right?
Ever since the big new update the app does not open. Maybe once in a blue moon but it’s the same logo page every time and it does not allow me into the actual app. Update: Now the app does not open at all. I am deleting. Maybe you should ask advice from your friends at CBS19. They were able to redesign their app and SURPRISE it opens with no problem.
An easy to use app with best local news in Charlottesville but one issues with the app is it doesn't have live stream of newscast for people on the go.
After today's (1/24/17) update I can no longer open app on my iPhone 5s. Granted it's an older old phone shouldn't I still be able to open? Actually app tries to open & then kicks me out. What gives??
