my school district has the app blocked and I think that’s government suppression of the press and what ever happened to freedom of the press and the press serving as a the guide, guard, and glue of our country? R u kidding me ? I just wanna know what’s going on and what’s actually relevant to me rn but no, I have to learn trigonometry and how to analyze a fictional book to uncover its hidden meaning. they clearly have their priorities straight.

Other local news apps are much better. Very bad pop up ads cause you to click on things accidentally and see adds before you get anywhere near reading the story. Also how they prioritize what news items get a notification is very strange. I’d hear things about celebrities but not a peep about legitimate local news stories. Not helpful. I’m also seeing more and more language that shows they have right-leaning political views which is inappropriate. I value facts and neutrality in news organizations, so I’ve deleted this app.

****issues seems to be fixed, no more error message**** Won’t work at all, says the developer needs to update, I sent an email and screenshot to them the day iOS 11 came out, and never herd back, and app still won’t work, so, for the lack of development, I deleted that app and will use other local apps. Too bad KHQ, I sure would rather use you guys.

I was hoping the update would fix this like KREM update did months ago. Would be a great app if it wasn't for that annoying message. Edited now that the Bluetooth message has been removed.

The wake up show is full of personality, up to the minute news, and the Lowe down on current weather. I call it my balanced breakfast news!! The 5pm news is a teaser to what’s for dinner at 6. So when I’m having my dinner I get updates and information plus forecasts of the next day.

I have had this app for several years. Some updates I’ve liked, some not so much. The current format/update is the worst to date. Navigation is sketchy, most stories force you to watch video clips from news casts, and story updates are lax at best. KHQ continues to be my go to local news channel, however I plan to dump this app and look at krems.

Really frustrating with amateur programming. If you enable notifications the app won’t take you to the actual article in the notification. It takes you to a bunch of other stuff- in clear view of their advertisements, of course. Not a wonder journalism isn’t a respectable profession these days.

Print to small no way to adjust no bold setting for font. Never updates even if set to unless it is Gonzaga then it sends out notifications for useless non priority information. This app is trash ready to delete it and the channel 2 app (KREM) same issues with both same app format. Really hard to read and I'm not old To many pop ups and slippy frames. Time to give up on this and all news apps.

This is one of many news apps that abuses the “Breaking News” notification. Plus the stories on the page are old and not updated. Not worth the space on your phone.

On a superficial level I greatly dislike the new “nonstop local news” logo. My main issue is the addition of sponsored content that is made to looks like news stories.

App is slow to load anything and the “live stream” only works like it should about 10% of the time (the other 90% it shows either the most recent previous news cast or another program all together).

Tv providers I DO NOT TRUST Because they can take any tv channel. That is why I use Apple TV to watch tv. This is a great app. I wish you would put live tv in this app. And you could connect this app to Apple TV like the CW and other tv apps And Fox News channels and like other News apps does. We love KHQ and do not watch any other news station on TV. We were really excited to see that KHQ has an app but very disappointed that the “Live” news is 2-3 days old. Hopefully in the not too distant future KHQ will be able to make this app up to the minute. Thank you

I like the live stream. I used it all day off and on during the Kavanaugh/Ford hearing yesterday.

This app presents the news in snippets with a link you can tap at the end to read the full article. 90% of the time those links don't work. Even more irritating is seeing an article flashed on the front screen of my phone that can never be found in the news app even after diligently digging through piles of snippets. If the news is important enough to push into my view, shouldn't those headlines be among the first items I come across after opening the app?? I'm on the verge of deleting this from my phone.

I love the app but it is very frustrating that You guys don’t have The bugs worked out, You let an app take over before you get to your app. I no longer want to be involved in your BS advertising 🖕

Using the settings I limited notifications to breaking news and weather alerts, but I still get spammed with sports notifications.

Since when is Charlottesville WV consider “Regional News”. And forget about trying to even find information on local wildfires. Garbage and deleted

Please let me close ads for a game I’ll never buy or play! I don’t want to wait 15 seconds watching an a game advertisement before I see the headlines. Deleting app after years of use.

Either sits there and buffers saying your content will be right back or plays an old news cast. The live feature doesn’t work at all. What a disappointment.

Half the time I click on a story; it comes up blank.

It’s maddening when u get an alert about a news story, only to click on the KHQ site and have only the “teaser” headline. Don’t bother if it’s only the headline, not the story. 😡😡😡

Horrible coverage of WSU Cougars. Don’t get that, PAC 12 team 70 miles away. Jumps on the bandwagon now cause ESPN Gameday coming to Pullman.

I will not support any news that is not fair and balanced and facts. Reporters opinions mean nothing.

Great way to stay in touch with current news and the regular alerts worked great. The 4a daily alert about the morning show is quite annoying though.

Blows krem and kxly out of the water. This app has more news stories combined over the other two and the breaking news is excellent. But please add the ability to increase font size. Also it crashes on a story every 5th use or so which is frustrating. Thanks!

Lots of notifications, which initially seem good, but they don't always link to the appropriate story. The main page doesn't follow any logical pattern or flow, and the page has a lot of outdated stories, sometimes over a week old - not updates. For example, currently the first story reports that a woman is missing, and several stories down is a four day old story telling that the woman has been found. If it's not new, it's not news!

This news seems to dwell on social degenerates and misfortune. I would suggest attempting to find news that is positive and no nonsense. Seems the news is designed to make people scared and worried. The Enquirer provides enough nonsense news. Many one liner headlines with no supporting information, and non updated site. Most notifications are not important to me and are repeated too often in case you missed it. Am I the only one who does not care about a loose pet alligator in the Spokane Valley! I deleted the app.

Love getting news updates on my phone. I don't get a chance to watch the news when it comes on in the evening so getting it on my phone brings me up to date on a daily basis

This app has really helped me stay on top of all the most important news related to my Spokane. I usually am the one to relay what is happening to all my coworkers because of it. Would never delete it.

I only check this app occasionally when I get time but all the little "news blocks" have no date or time associated with them. I see stuff from days ago blended in with current items. Hard to tell if something is really news or not. A news article should tell me who, WHEN, what and where, or it has little meaning to me. Someone tell me where to find it...

I want local breaking news alerts. But don't wake me up at 11pm to tell me that no one won the lottery or at 4:30am with a run down with what's on the wake up show including how a cat saved people from a fire. Breaking news alerts only please and unless it hugely significant to our world or safety- please keep the fluff ones to normal waking hours.

Far superior to the last app. Finally, I'm able to forward an article for the first time. Great graphics and presentation. Please, don't change this one

This is my go to app. I check it every day to catch up on the news and weather. Perfect, especially if you can't catch the news on TV.

The khq news app is great. Good graphics, very informative and they keep current news up to date. I use it very often. Thanks for the great effort to keep us informed.

An app where you can view news, birthday greetings, etc. in case you missed it on tv. Need updates--- format, pictures, info include surrounding areas for users to encourage more viewing during day.

Love this news channel! They bring the information almost before it happens! The 'Hosts' are fun, smart, and down to earth! Thank you for making my mornings! 😊

Turned off notifications because they are so frustrating. They are only there to hook you into watch the their news but guess what Q6 a lot of us can't watch the news. Don't bother putting it in a notification unless it tells everything you know. Sadly will have to go elsewhere to get current local news.

Great news source but location pop up won't go away. No means no on where my location is and has nothing to do with the news.

I like your app but the you continually ask to turn on Bluetooth. Also the adds are annoying that pop up right after that. I've turned off the notifications because of it.

Some good local and regional news. Lots of repeated news that has the same stories for weeks. The ad that you are required to see and then swipe away to open the news often times won't go away so I have to shut the app down. It feels cheap.

Updated very often, well written and very informative on local issues. Job well done.
