This app is the first app I tried and I am so glad I did!! I always enjoyed being at the beach and still do!! The waves always got my attention especially when tides were high!! So when I came across this app I couldn’t resist!!. I’m not one to deal with settings that have me going in circles just to find a certain sound when I only want what I want!! It’s my kind of app!! I use it every night and I am definitely satisfied!! And it’s free!! Finally able to fall asleep without my sleeping pill and that is so nice!! High 5 to the creator!!! Highly recommend!!! I’m listening to it as I give my review.. good night😴 Question?….. I need to update… do I have too? A lot of complaints after users did. I hate to delete app..
I have a physical sound machine that I use very night at my own house, and I can’t sleep without ocean sound going. But when I go on vacation I don’t want to have to unplug it and mess with it because it’s always on the perfect setting. So I leave it and can’t sleep on vacation so I was looking for a good app to use to substitute the machine. And I looked at three and this was by far the best. It was very relaxing and super easy to use! I highly recommend for anyone who has trouble sleeping!
I have had trouble sleeping through the night for months. I’ve tried other apps but they didn’t work. I searched yesterday evening and found ocean waves which makes you really feel like you are sleeping at the beach, truly relaxing. I slept through the night for the first time in a long time and when I woke up at 6 am instead of my typical 4 am....I felt super refreshed and amazing!! Highly recommend this app! It worked for me!
I live by the beach but can never get enough of the soothing sounds of waves. This app plays continuously and seems eternal, like the ocean. Every wave seems distinct and random, like the ocean. You can also hear the lingering and water pooling among the rocks. My go to —at bedtime. And when I long to be at the beach, all I have to do is close my eyes, and cozy up to my pillow and smell the ocean air!!! Love it!
I have several wave apps to help me sleep but this is the only one I use now. It’s the most soothing and doesn’t have that jarring repetition some of them have. Even my husband who has no trouble sleeping reminds me to play it. I have had no issues with it stopping. It plays all night.
I downloaded this app two months ago for our newborn. I love it up until today, when it won’t keep playing. It help my baby fall asleep at night and stay asleep longer. It would play all night on our iPad. Today I can’t keep it playing. It is random in its play length from 1 minute to 15 but not just shuts off waking my baby!! So frustrating! If you would have asked me yesterday I would have given 5 stars.. not today.... very sad and frustrated customer. It also throws adds in now too today was the first for that.
I have used this app several times and not had any issues with it. Last night I turned it on and this morning I cannot shut it off. I’ve even tried deleting the app and reinstalling it and that’s not working. Could you give me any suggestions as to how do I get rid of the sound? Thanks You didn’t answer my question with your reviews how do you shut it off once it’s running refuse to shut off and I had to delete the app and then reinstall it and subsequently I’m afraid to use it.
Before the recent update, the ocean sounds would play all night. Now they only play until the screen “snoozes.” Then the sound stops until you unlock your screen. I guess you have to pay before the sounds play uninterrupted again. Thanks for ruining a great app. 😞
I use this app when I close the windows and doors, it makes it hard to hear the real waves outside...I’d give it five stars, but I don’t think the designer of this app knows that real wave sounds don’t occur as frequently as this app makes them .Actually, (and most people don’t realize this)the amount of waves per minute is a constant. 19 waves every 34.9 seconds...

Love this app. Very simple to use and the sounds are clean. The sleep timer is nice as well. I don't need fancy videos clouding the screen when trying to get some rest. I use it at night to help me sleep while recovering from a brain tumor.
This is exactly the type of app I was looking for that would allow me to set a timer and listen to the sound of ocean waves while I meditate. And it does all of this in the free version. Perfect!
Ads pop up at the beginning and if you are trying to use this to help you fall back asleep, you get loud, annoying ads rather than peaceful ocean waves. Didn’t used to be this way. Love ok’ing for another app because this is now counterproductive to sleep due to ads.
I used this sound to do a visual meditation for a friend who is ill. It's long and powerful and I didn't notice a quick repeat so it allowed me to do what I was doing without coming back out of my process. I like it.
This is a pretty relaxing ocean sounds app. Sometimes, it gets a bit wonky though: some nights, it shuts off without warning, while other nights it stays on until I shut down the app in the morning. Weird and a bit unpredictable. :/
This app is amazingly simply, yet also amazingly effective. You'd think you were near a real ocean. When I first tried it, I couldn't believe how much it made me relax. It really does help me to drift off to sleep.
I enjoyed this app for a few weeks when one or two ads would start popping up that I could cancel. Then it started showing me ads that there was no way to get rid of and even in turning the app off I still had the background noise on my phone. I had to do a restart on my phone to get rid of the ads.

Have loved this app, my daily meditation. No human voice, which I appreciate. Only complaint: I can understand a business needs ads, just wish those were quieter, in keeping with the mood of the app.

There is a new timer which needs to allow users to set their own time— up to 12 hours. I used to sleep all night to the relaxing ocean waves sound from this app but now it maxes out at 59 minutes. Sorry to delete this app but I need consistent sound for 8 hours otherwise it was great and relaxing. It used to be 5 Star but now it’s 1 Star.
I have tinnitus (ringing in the ears), and it is very difficult to fall asleep. The ocean sound made it very easy to not only fall asleep, but stay asleep all night. I'm very pleased.
I thought there would have been a selection other than just one sound like other apps. But it is a good sound of light ocean waves onto a beach. Would have liked to have a selection though
