FirstLine is a great Medicare Advantage Benefit! Most of the products are really great and of equal value as other Generic or brand name products. Please remember that the cost of shipping is added into the price of the products! I wish all the different plans had the same amount of benefit value. My wife and I both have, what is supposed to be the same plan. I get $60 per three months and she gets $80 per three months. But the shipping here is usually within two to three Business days! My order came to exactly $40 which is my benefit amount. Items were rounded up, 2.99 became 3.00 etc so it was an even $40. I went to the check out page and the total was $40 with zero tax and zero shipping. When I submitted the order it said I exceeded my benefit by .53 (53 cents). Ok I don’t get the math but whatever. So I had the option to add a credit card to pay the overage so I added my credit card and the app “said “ credit card successfully added so when I advanced to the next page to check out I got an error message so I tried 5 more times and each time the same thing happened. I only tried 5 times because you know the definition of insanity…. So I took a tube of toothpaste off my order to get it to go through and it did. I’ll try customer service to try to work around the credit card issue when I have time.
Developers please for the blind make the scanner audible! To give an example check out the free seen AI app for the blind, there is the channel barcode scanner, and it makes a sound slower and faster according to where you are at for the barcode it gets faster when you get near it and then automatically takes the picture if you had that audible it would be perfect thank you oh yes one other thing please give the option at the sign in to remember ID and password! Can actually be very tedious and difficult when you’re in a store trying to sign in from the perspective of someone blind who has to listen to it all sometimes the stores are noisy and you can’t hear thank you again
I’ve only made two orders using the FirstLine app but so far it’s been easy to find what I’m looking for. I used the catalog I received in the mail to first highlight the items I might be interested in, then refer to it when in the app. The titles for each category are the same on the app as in the catalog including the product numbers. That really helps the ordering process. Checkout is simple with one click to submit your order. Much, much better process then other OTC companies I’ve used.
I love this app it truly makes it very convenient and it’s easy to work with. I use to think it was easier to just call them and place my order because the customer service is amazing. Let’s give credit where credit is do. But once I figured out how to use the app on my phone. This took it to a whole new level. I love using the app because it truly is user friendly. The website works fine with a couple of changes needed. First - a TEXT option needs to be added for 2-step verification. I have my phone set up to send unknown callers directly to voice mail. Each time the call comes in for verification it’s from a different number so that makes it a little difficult to add into my contacts list. I finally got the call by turnoff my call filtering, but it is so easy when a website uses TEXT instead of voice calls. Second - I haven’t found a way to go directly to the shopping cart without scrolling all the way to the top of the page. Either add a “return to top” option or a hot key that takes you directly to the cart. Make these changes and your website will be much friendlier to use.
I live on a low budget of only 800$ per month and this made it so helpful for me to get the items I need. There is no hassle. Just tap the item you need, say how many, and go to cart and pay. I like how that have it so organized in categories so you’re not lost you know exactly where to go for anything. They allow you to review the items before cashing out to make sure you did not make any errors. So appreciate 🥰
Overall a Very Good App, but needs improvement in the Shop area.
I think overall this is a Very Good App, but I feel it needs improvement in the Shop area. It is very frustrating and time consuming to shop looking at a small window with only one item at a time that’s visible to select. I would like to see a full screen displaying multiple items at a time that can be selected individually for additional information or for adding to cart. I think that improvement would tremendously improve the shopping experience.
I was unable to access the “Save For Later” feature on my iPhone. I went completely out of the app and, with an advocate in the help center directing me, could not access this feature. I would find this access extremely helpful, and was disappointed that I could not see this feature on my iPhone. I got “No shopping list.”
It’s very frustrating to use this app. You search “Hearing Protection” and it gives you one hearing amplifier, and then it skips to Tooth paste and works its way to diapers. WHAT has any of that got to do with hearing protection. NOTHING. I haven’t had much luck looking for anything. There’s the paper catalogue that used to come, but I haven’t seen one of them n a while. That’s just one example. Maybe they’ll catch on some day. Once you place your item in the shopping cart, you can’t check the size you picked to verify it. It says to verify, but it doesn’t allow you to do it.
The app is stupid hard to use. A double call to the same number? Another call to that same number to check out? The search feature can’t find anything, it’s glitchy and clumsy. Why would you have red flags on all items until you cross the $35 rubicon? How many times do you go grab something at the drugstore and spend $35 ? The entire site is a rip-off to get folks to buy only the crap you’ve bought in huge bulk. It’s very inconvenient, very bothersome and intended to keep older retirees from receiving their benefits purposely so you will make more money !
I received the catalog and had marked it up and folded pages, with the intention of going back & using this as a guide, to place my order by mail. Out of curiosity, I downloaded the app and created an account. I selected 1 item & placed it in the cart to see whether it was difficult to navigate options, such as adding quantity, changing qty, removing items from cart. All was done with ease. You can search for items by category, easy peasy. The app even shows your available balance as you shop & keeps a subtotal of your items in the cart, clearly visible so that you can keep track of available funds. This app is fantastic. I highly recommend it!
I don’t understand why your price’s doesn’t match the little amount that is provided. If I have a couple of changes left over you take it away knowing no one can afford any items on your list with the extra change left over, but if I go over the $40 you want to charge me for it. If anything is left over it should be carryover until the end of year.
I really love this additional person because my insurance . I’m able to get things for my health and we’ll being that I otherwise wouldn’t be able to purchase. At least not on any type of frequency . So I’m very thankful for this ability through here . Thank you so much ❣️
My original doc first received had the wrong name for the ordering site, also when I got online for the products picked out my items , called in to order all the numbers I had were incorrect. A lot of time wasted, I got on the proper site and then had a bunch of sign on problems and got locked down for 20 minutes. When I got on line looking for items is slow as a snail, the system couldn’t go from page one to the next page what a joke system. I was using an iPhone 12 with 17 op system.
While it may help out for those who cannot get about to purchase cheaper in stores, why are the prices so high? Also how come the online app and catalog are not the same? Looking for bandaids online, didn’t see them online but are in the catalog; didn’t see a search feature ( this would be helpful). I am not saying it is not worth it as it is free just the fact it could be improved.
They are such a wide range of products that are her reasonably priced of good quality and it’s just so easy to shop online rather than going out and looking and comparing prices to other stores. Thank you so much for letting us shop in the comfort of our own homes!
This automated service has made life so much easier for my wife and I. Her needs change often (being completely bedridden for the past year) and it’s up to me to take care of all her needs. I’ve been able to solve most of my unexpected problems without having to leave the house. 👍
This app works great! It’s like getting online and doing it from My computer only I’m doing it from My phone. I can just pull up the app and login and I’m on My way. Also I don’t have to type the website name in the search bar because it’s now in app form. I would recommend this app! It’s great!

It took a great deal of moving around the site to find the option to search for products. IMHO, this should be one of the easiest options to find. In addition, I was logged out 3 times over the space of 5 minutes. It is not clear what was triggering the disconnection, but it seemed over-aggressive.
This is easy to use although for some things (1,2,3 choices at the bottom of the area) I had to push several times to get the view to change. I also did not see where to add an item # from the online catalog. Some items do not have a description. Overall, I had a good experience with this app.
It would be so much better if we had more information about each item. For Instance, multivitamins shows how many capsules are in each bottle, but it doesn’t show how many pills/capsules we should take everyday. There were problems with other products as well. Thank you.
When browsing the items on my iPad this Saturday morning, after about 5-10 minutes, bam, all of a sudden, the log in screen would pop up and I’d have to log in again. This happened about 5-10 times today. I never had that problem with my desktop.
The app does not give any info on the products. It gives no info about each product, I.e., the disposable pads for $35 with no number of pads listed; the electric heating pad with no info on levels of heat, as in, low, med, high, or just low and high?? And no idea what material the cover is, or if it’s removable, washable?? I appreciate getting the products, but it would be helpful to know more about them.
The items for purchase are higher than outside retail. It would be better if the excess $ that you can’t use could be carried over to the next quarter. Since there isn’t anyway to use the $ amounts that are too small. It would be nice to just have the $ amount to use at any retail place
It's very nice and convenient to be able to get health care products ordered from the comfort of your own home! They don't have what are called name brands per se but the items are just as good! Being disabled and having this program is a great advantage!

Since I have overcome actually getting in every time, everything has gone smoothly and received within a week, usually less. The products have been satisfactory.
Nice benefit, but the website has a few deficiencies. Descriptions are insufficient often lacking basic information such as number of pills and ingredients. Website is time consuming to navigate, resulting in having to log in multiple times trying to find what you want. A search function would be helpful.
I love using your website. I just enter the item number from the catalog and it comes right up. I make sure I go through the catalog first to see what I need. In minutes I am done. The order normally comes in 3 days!

Trying to remove an item that’s not on sale any more, I understand it’s not on sale I’m not trying to buy it. It’s the fact I’m hitting removed item and it wants me to contact support at 10:56 pm and I have to wait tell 7:00am when it’s a easy issue I can fixe when I know customer support going to treat me dumbfounded on a system issue not removing items after I buy and keeping it there. Also love the program just issue with app.

I wasted tons of unnecessary time setting up the app and account because they do NOT make clear that the member id number is everything that PRECEDES the dash. Why didn't the user interface make that clear? I wouldn't have needed to call customer service to figure that out if it was clearly stated in the app. Otherwise, once I got in, everything was fine.

App does not remember my password or user name, which I wish to change but cannot. I can’t find the app in my password list, so it probably has an app name that isn’t useful. But once logged in, it works.

It would help if you included the quantity in the description. I found myself having to go back and forth between the catalog and online app to be sure of what I was ordering. I also was disappointed to see that you did not have reachers in the daily living catagory.
Almost everything I have ordered in the past is no longer available. This has turned into a scam to pretend a benefit is being given when it is a bait and switch. A card to use at the drugstore of your choice would simply this even if you cut the benefits in half. Obviously they are spending below twenty cents on the dollar is actual products.
Ordering online if you know what you want is easy enough. The issue is the lack of detail on product descriptions both online and in their catalogue. Many products are generic and don’t list ingredients. Also, cant enlarge product image so can’t see any detail there either.
This is a great benefit and an easy to use app. Pick out items from the many choices, place your order and in a few days your items arrive free of charge and with free shipping. How can you beat that!!!
