Great but could improve

I enjoy using this to count my days clean and keep track of which meetings I’ve been to. I’ve noticed it’s not always up to date. Certain meetings have either moved locations or become discontinued. Some new meetings are not listed. My biggest issue is that I don’t understand the function under the programs tab; why check off items on a list of what I did “Today” if it’s not saved in a log so I can compare my progress?

Great App, Great Developer and Constantly Updated

Pink Cloud is a great app and is frequently enhanced with new features. I use it daily and use “Rooms” finder when traveling. Jason (developer) is very responsive and engaged. I recently moved and noticed an outdated meeting location because the local chapter had not submitted updated location. I reported this through support and was emailed the next morning by Jason letting me know they have weekly accuracy reviews and would update the listing. He then emailed me to let me know the change had been corrected and thanked me for bringing it to his attention! I HIGHLY recommend Pink Cloud and appreciate the developer’s attention to detail and follow up!! Experience, Strength and Hope!!

Easy and user friendly

This app has been very useful with me in my recovery. The meeting finder is a lifesaver. If I can make a suggestion it would be to have the meeting counter 30 days instead instead of seven days Or even meeting counter for 90 days since some of us have to do 90 meetings in 90 days. Other than that I love it and I’m going to end up purchasing it once my free trial is over I recommend this app to anybody who is trying to get clean and sober through the NA or AA or CMA program. This will be the best purchase maybe this year that I will be making. Thank you to the developers for this app but please try and make the room counter more than seven days thank you

Profiting of AA? Seriously? You know what you’re doing...

For those familiar with AA I don’t have to go into great detail why it’s immoral to charge money for this. Regardless of app improvement or functionality this is profiting off AA which is so beyond messed up. Not to mention it’s not even fully accurate, but that is a tough thing to keep up on in every area so that shouldn’t be judged too harshly. I also understand one is not allowed to accept donations through the app per apple rules but the loophole would be to link it to a website where one could easily use PayPal or other electronic payment methods. Until then the app developer(s) aren’t helping anybody in any AA fashion. I didn’t even realize it was a “trial” until I was looking for a meeting and got prompted with the need to pay to continue to use the meeting finder. And the thing that really made me angry and led me to review this is that the developer(s) had the audacity to try and guilt the user into purchasing this app by “thinking of the newcomer.” No, the developer(s) needs to think of the traditions and where they apply and either offer it for free, link a website donation page or shut it down. It’s not even a one time purchase.

Great app, especially for newcomers!

This app is really helpful especially right now while I’m tracking my 90 meetings in 90 days. It’s very helpful for finding meetings, especially when you are traveling. There is a “directions” button right there on the page with the info for the meeting. You can add your own prayers and there is a phone list function that helps keep your contacts anonymous on your phone. There are more great features. I use this app every day!

Best Sober App

This app is by far the best sober app out there. It is extremely easy to use and has everything you need to stay on top of your sobriety. The “Rooms” section is so easy to use and find a meeting in or around any town your in at the time. It has also helped me set up a daily checklist that I try to accomplish everyday. I have pretty much downloaded every sober app I come across and now have deleted all the others and just use this one. Thank you for creating this app!

So helpful and easy

This app is awesome. Makes it so easy to locate and save meetings you enjoy. Using this is so much easier than the meeting lists online. Game changer! I highly recommend it. I never pay for apps and I ended up paying for 6 months to keep the rooms feature after the free trial. However, you can bookmark your favorite meetings before the free trial ends and you won’t lose these even if you don’t subscribe to the rooms feature after the trial! Love it!

All-in-one

I use this app for everything involving the meetings I want to attend. I can touch the map and it will allow me to see meetings in that area, I can bookmark it, set a reminder, check-in & track what I attended. It also gives options of prayers and I've added my own morning & evening prayers, journaling/notes I use for the meetings I attend, phone lists, days sober, current step, etc!!! It definitely has room for growth but it is amazing and the most encompassing I've seen yet. Thanks B

Great app!

This app helps you navigate meetings specially when you're new to an area. I love how it allows you to keep track of the meetings you've gone to and also bookmark the ones you like. Getting a reminder for the meetings also is important for me personally. I think it's great that this app provides a list where you can check off some of the things you've done that day for your recovery. I highly recommend this app to anyone who's in recovery.

Hi-5!

This app has been instrumental in my early recovery. I'm going to a variety of meetings regularly now that I probably wouldn't have discovered without this app. It's way easier than using the AA website or calling the office or getting the little pamphlet directories, although perhaps not quite as accurate. Pink Cloud has not yet led me to a defunct meeting though and I don't think it ever will! It's also a fun way to keep track of your sobriety and work on your program, etc.

The Best App of it’s Kind But Room to Improve

Great app. Would prefer it didn’t request reviews after I’ve declined to review more than once. Would also like to see logging multiple meetings in one day streamlined - as it is now you have to go to another day in the future, select your second or third meeting, and then log it into your current day - which is obviously a needless hassle. Otherwise great app.

It’s about the money

I downloaded this because I’m a newcomer and I needed to find meetings near me. This app worked fine and I loved it, because the room finder was available and I used it very much. I open the app one day and it won’t show the rooms until I pay, the minimum monthly fee. Granted it’s only one dollar, but as a newly sober alcoholic, I’ve wrecked my credit therefore don’t even have a bank account, not to mention I’m barely scraping by to pay the rent for my halfway house. This app isn’t the only one, but I had to delete it because i didn’t expect it to charge alcoholics for help.

finding a meeting

both AA and NA pertains to me, and i am so happy to have found something that accommodates me to either which wherever i am. because of this app i have found so many more meetings than i thought and through have met the most amazing people. i recommend this to anybody who struggles with addiction and wants, needs, a better life because it is truly obtainable, and it starts with a meeting.

Life changer!!!

Thank you to the amazing soul who developed this app!!! I have 19 days today, a sponsor, the fellowship, and a new life. This app has become an integral part to my recovery. Being able to bookmark meetings, track attendance, add notes, phone numbers, prayers, etc. I couldn’t ask for anything more in an app. Do not hesitate for one second; it’s the best $5 I ever spent. Awesome app!

Having just joined AA I am always looking for meetings to attend, especially when traveling over the summer. This app really helps find rooms in whatever city or country you are visiting. There are a few cities in Europe that I'm going to next month that weren't listed in the app- I emailed customer service and they responded quickly and are looking for meetings! I really recommend this app!!

Great design

Super convenient app, works really well and I like how everything is centralized from contacts to directions and even notes. Only complaint I have is I wish they had a tab for "Daily" meetings so you could easily bookmark or identify those. This app is really big part of my life and recommend to most of my pals who are new to the program.

Love it, but what about edits?

I really like the app, especially the rooms feature. I'm just wondering if there is anyway users can inform the app developers of changes in local meetings (locations, new meetings, etc) so that the app is accurate? I would really like to make sure the app is actually reflective of the meetings in my area. It would be nice if there was a way for users to edit meeting information.

reliable and up to date

I LOVE this app. I haven’t opened it in a while because i’ve been social distancing but they updated the app to meetings online and in person. it’s only $1 a month (i think) and it’s definitely worth it. Paying less than a cup of coffee to keep track of my recovery but also find meetings around me wherever i am!!!!

Decent app, should be free or donation based

This app works decently— have had some problems with addresses being incorrect, it doesn’t say the length of the meetings, and when you have it show you directions it puts the GPS coordinates into the google maps app rather than the address. The main reason why I give this one star is that it goes against AA principles as it is a for-profit app. They usurp AA slogans and use them in the app, yet as they are for profit they are basically using AA to make a profit. Once my free trail is up I will certainly not be paying to line the pockets of these opportunistic developers.

Great for accountability and traveling

This is the best app I have found for traveling. With location services on, it finds meetings within a set radius. I’ve used this to find meetings in Maryland, California and more along with my home area. The app itself holds me accountable for my attendance and checking off the things I need to be doing to work a strong program. I love this app!!!

Great features, bug since last update

Since the last update I cannot see the address or map information when I click on a meeting. I like that you can see the times of meeting from the map. Only thing I’d change: I wish you could set a time range rather than just the three buckets. Thanks for 6 months!

Great App Support

This app has been an invaluable tool when traveling as well as at home. I’ve added prayers and edited the app’s daily checklist to keep myself accountable. I also had an immediate response to a correction of two local groups that had changed but AA General Services had not updated their database yet with the correct information.

Absolutely the best

No doubt this is THE best recovery app. Gives meetings for both major fellowships. My only suggestion to the developers is to include the other fellowships which are gaining popularity such as ACA, Refuge Recovery, Smart Recovery and so on. I realize there are many, but I'm willing to scroll to get my recovery on. Thanks for the amazing app. My life is definitely worth ten bucks a year.

Great app for total support!

This app is the best help I have found. It has everything - meeting dates and times, maps, self help tools, every part of it is so useful. I have told several people at meetings about it. I'm sure once I've had sobriety foe awhile and settled into a routine it may not be as needed; for a new AA this app is a huge resource. Thank you.

Great Tool

This App is awesome.. I’m fresh in recovery at 70 days sober and this has been a very helpful tool!!! Not only can you find a meeting near you but also you can set a reminder that is added in your calendar as well as track how many days sober you are and how many meetings you’ve attended.. very user friendly

Almost perfect app!

I LOVE this app! It’s so useful in finding a meeting nearby no matter where I’m at. The only thing I would suggest is putting the time frame of the meeting. I’d like to know if the meeting is an hour or an hour and a half. Also, I tell everyone about this app but it’s only available for Apple users which is unfortunate. Other than that, awesome app!

Pink Cloud meeting finder helps you find a meeting based on your current location or ANY location for any day any time of day. Eliminates the excuse of not being able to find a meeting. Great also for beginners you can track your day count and meeting attendance. Worked great for keeping me accountable.

Mostly Good

Have had some of the same issues with meetings not being there anymore. Definitely need to check the book or website before going to a meeting. Also, 95% of the AA meetings say "Men's Stag". Even if they aren't men's groups. Must be a glitch in the system. Other than that, love being able to track meetings and days

Love this app

Easy to use and has everything you need to track your sobriety. Love the customization capabilities. I added additional prayers and love being able to bookmark meetings I attend to regularly. The only thing I would love to do is add closed meetings to my bookmarks. I highly recommend this app.

Not accurate

I BOUGHT this app In hopes it would help me in my recovery. I travel for work so I am always in new places and it is hard enough to know where I am let alone where there are meetings. Many times I have looked up meetings in my area, traveled far and beyond to get there and find out that meeting does not exist there at that time. I hope to find an app that is more accurate so I can feel better and stay sober no matter where I am.

Meetings need to be updated

I would not use this app solely to find meetings. I sent several requests over a month ago to the app’s administrators to have meetings added or to update their locations. There hasn’t been a response. The information on this app isn’t that reliable. I won’t be renewing this app because it’s quite apparent the administrators have no intention on keeping the app up to date.

Shows out of date meetings

This app is great at keeping track of your clean time and how many meetings you've made. For example, if you're trying 90 in 90, you'll easily be reminded of it. However, this app has shown quite a few meeting locations that are no longer in effect. When I was in my early stages of sobriety I went to a meeting location that fully didn't exist, and that was super discouraging - especially for newcomers.

Neat app for Sobriety & Meetings

Nice and neatly presented app for tracking sobriety, getting to meetings (rooms), and a handful of other tools that anyone working a program would benefit from. However, it the Rooms ability should be free instead of a trial basis. I shouldn’t have to pay to see what meetings I can go to within the local area.

I love pink cloud. It’s simple to use and has lots of extra features. I love that you can locate meetings in your area, wherever that may be at that time, and check in to track your meeting attendance. It helps me stay accountable. Great app!

It Works if you Work it!

I never had no idea how many meetings were literally around the corner from me! This app and its meetings are legit, you should have no problems. I’m more AA fellowship so I appreciate the locations for those but NA is like everywhere no matter what! Helpful helpful app!

I use Pink Cloud daily

I really appreciate and enjoy keeping track of my sobriety on Pink Cloud. It gives me daily reinforcement for my meeting attendance and days of sobriety. The meeting list is helpful reminding me where and when meetings are held locally and for finding meetings when out of town.

Violates AA Traditions

Do not use the app. All this information is free online. Charging for AA information is anathema to the core foundations, principles, and traditions of AA. The app devs will argue that the subscription cost simply keeps the app up and running and they take no profit. Okay, well AA still manages to host this info on their own site for free, so the app devs can do the same if they really are sober alcoholics wanting to help people. Even if they take no profit, they are still violating the AA Traditions and should re-evaluate their priorities in sobriety.

Saving Lives!

This tool/app is just as important as any tool in my recovery toolbox. It’s had a great part in me staying clean and living one day at a time! I love the accountability and sobriety record keeping as it’s been essential in saving my life and I’m sure for many other!

Wish was one stop app

It would be extremely helpful to know if the meeting is open or closed; male, female or mixed. Currently have to get separate online access to verify if it’s an eligible/appropriate meeting. I’m 9 days away from a pay to use or leave app. Currently I would have to walk away. Price not worth it when I have to go to secondary source before I go.

Use it all the time and have recommended it to friends. I use the “rooms” part in every city I go to. Great help and i think it has actually contributed a lot to my program by making it easier to find meetings.

Great app for home and travel

This app has certainly been updated recently. I enjoy using this for home and travel use. The bookmark feature is really handy to take a look at all of my favorite meetings at a glance by the day. I also like to bookmark out of town meetings in advance.

Excellent App for finding meetings

This app has yet to crash on me and is extremely accurate with meeting locations. I really enjoy the extra features, like taking inventory and resentments. Very convenient and easy to use.
