i looked up female drs because i dont like the idea of a male gyno. made the appt get to the address shown on the app, drs office is nowhere to be found, called the office and it was in a completely different area, i had to walk back all the way to my car, drive over to the building blocks away, park in PAID parking (i dont think they even validate). i look for the drs name in the directory, nope. i ask the gift shop/pharmacy, no dr by that name, call up again to drs office and i get the suite number get to the drs office and no womans name on the door, only male drs🤦🏻♀️😡🤬. i stuck with it because i needed to be seen for a real issue but the whole process was too much. im going to have to switch eventually which i didnt want to have to do
If your policy changed in the new year, your app won't work. I have been trying to update the app to show my new policy, (which frankly) should have updated on it's own behind the scenes. It all coming from Premera anyway. I still work for the same company, they just changed policies in the new year. Banks seem to do this with no problems, you can even manage multiple accounts within other banking institutions. This should be no different. When I open the Premera app it should have my current Premera policy and all that is attached to it at my fingertips based on my email, password and all other information I provided when I downloaded the app. So frustrating, just like healthcare. This is not a hard problem. Especially frustrating for someone like me who all I wanted to do was look up a doctor on the app. But since I am under a new policy, cannot access it. Oh, and I tried to set up a new account for the new poilcy number, but it wouldn't work online and since my email is already attched to the outdated poilcy. It couldn't set up another account, unless I provide a different email address. Pure genius. Quit pushing your app so hard if it is a nusiance. Oh, I tried a calling but was on hold far too long. Who has time for this?
Why is it that I can submit a medical, dental or vision claim on the Premera web site, but only submit a vision claim through the app? I installed this app thinking it would help me stay organized and submit claims as soon as they arrive. Imagine: snap a photo from phone camera at the clinic or as soon as a claim arrives in the mail, submit, done! Secondly why can’t I add my insurance card to Apple Wallet? That seems like a 1 day programming task. Please add these features. Otherwise this app is kinda useless.
Feedback times out after submitting an issue. Main issue with app is the keyboard or layout hides options on a scroll menu for searching down a list. This leaves 1/4" view for thumb scrolling and selection. However after selection is pressed, the enter or next tab on the keyboard is greyed out. This sends the user back to the last screen to try searching again since nothing can be selected properly with the keyboard. After a third try of closing and signing in I was finally able to select an option. However until there is a solution, this app renders useless, in my case.
When searching for urgent care locations the app keeps giving me provider locations in Seattle but I am in Pasco. I already gave the app permissions for location services and it show my location on the map in the app but it won’t show locations in my area, I have to use a regular browser to find urgent care locations
The care finder feature simply does not work. I know my doctors are in-network, but when young in their name or specialty and extending the search range to 100mi (which is WAY more than needed) it always displays 0 results. As this is essentially the key feature of an app like this, I gave one star because that feature simply does not work. Have to use their website, which is a PitA on mobile (as it uses pop-ups). Very disappointing as every other health insurance app I’ve used has been better. 😩😭
Premera sent a letter asking for info and suggested I use the app to *easily* and *instantly* submit it. No further instructions given, so after install and sign-up I clicked through pretty much the entire app UI, still unable to find what I need. I don’t think there is a way to use the app for what Premera suggested I do with it. I then try to send in-app survey feedback, and multiple times that module keeps freezing up on me as I type feedback, erasing everything I typed.
I wish I could leave an actual review of the app but I can’t even log in. Tried password in my password manager. Didn’t work. Submitted password rest and went through all of the motions. Tried new password. Also didn’t work. Most likely password manager is generating password with symbols that the site/app doesn’t like, but it doesn’t tell me what those symbols are and let’s me reset password to a password that ultimately doesn’t work. Very frustrating.
Loaded into the app, clicked search and I get an error stating “your web browser blocked a pop up”. Shouldn’t the app be more than a quick link to your website? You can only search for local doctors. I put in my home ZIP and I cannot press “search” anymore. Defaulted back to current location and search lights up again. No ratings or reviews on doctors, so now I have to cross reference reviews for every practice. This is only my first five minutes with the application.
Unusable, Login credentials for employer-provided plan does not work
Premera apparently has multiple systems for account management, and therefore must have a separate system for managing login credentials for employer-sponsored health care. I can login with my credentials on with a web browser, but the app does not provide this functionality. My login credentials simply are not accepted on the mobile app. Completely useless app for me. I will have to settle with web-based access to my account.
Very impressed with this app! It has all the information I want with a great design, and it's a solid app. I use it pretty regularly and have never had a problem. I'm glad to see that it's getting better too with lots of updates. Good job job Premera!
I’ve been attempting to log into my app, but have continuously received this error pop up, “Something went wrong. It’s not you, it’s us.” I’ve performed all the troubleshooting steps to no avail. This is so frustrating that I’m only able to access my account via a browser instead of my mobile app.
App always forgets my login information. I have log in with faceid turned on, but it forgets. When I try to enter my password, it uses faceid. But because it’s the iOS passwords function, the Premera logo pops up, preventing the app from being used. So the iOS faceid to enter password function can’t enter the password. And you can’t find your password and paste it, as the app won’t let you do that.
I’ve tried multiple times over the course of a few months to login on this app only to receive an error message saying my login information is incorrect yet I have no problem logging in through safari with the same credentials 🤦🏽♀️ I’ve tried looking for updates and deleting and redownloading but neither have worked
It can take >1 month for submitted reimbursement requests to show up in the app. App randomly force you to enter password even if you asked it to remember and use faceId. This defeat the whole point of having the card let you see your insurance card cause you ll need it to reset the password.
Now that I am able to log in I ll give you guys higher rating for this great app. Giving you 4 and not 5....just in case 😊 And I must say that the app is way better than the site when it comes to its main purpose.
This app is extremely fast and has a really clean look to it. It’s better than any health care app I’ve ever seen. I am thrilled to see dependent claims added and gave a 4 star rating overall. I would have given a rating of 5 stars if the app had apple wallet support.
This app lets you do very little. And it doesn’t support Apple Wallet. The way cards are supported is silly. Not really sure the point of this other than seeing how close you are to your deductible. You can do little else other than look up a provider. How often do people actually do that?
When I log in, it tells me my login is no good (even though it is). I have to them click the link to go to the website, and log in THERE. Once I do that, then it takes me back to the app to log in AGAIN, and finally accepts it. What a pain! If I have to go to the website anyway, then what’s the point of having an app?
After hours of frustration, I finally learned that this app no longer works for Medicare Advantage plans. The person I spoke with did not know that. I would love to have a copy of my health insurance card in my phone, but the app will not work for my coverage. Perhaps Premera could restore that functionality before open enrollment for 2023 closes.
For months, this app never worked and then in August there was an update that magically made it work. Yet now it’s September 16 and the app doesn’t work again. I can’t login and cannot access the app any longer. I add my login credentials and it’s a never ending loop asking me to login with my credentials. Thanks, Premera! Stellar technology as usual 👍
Logging in on the website? No problem. Figured I’d get the app too, tried logging in: multiple rejections. I don’t want to get locked out so I go with the text scan option in case I keep making the same mistakes. Still getting rejected. Totally not worth it when it can’t even handle a simple log in.
Hey Premera, When are you going to support Apple Wallet? I literally keep all my info there and it’s frustrating every time I look for this card and have to dig through a camera roll to find it. I really want this card in my Apple Wallet app! Come on, it’s 2018, time to be part of the Wallet App!
Unable to rate fairly because the app will not let me in. It tells me to log onto the online account, which I can do quite successfully. But why not the app? No explanation, just frustration. I appreciate your response asking me to email the details. I did that last week but nothing has changed. App is still inaccessible and thus worthless - as is your support!

Please add the option to get the Premera ID card to Apple Wallet. This is an iOS app and downloading a picture to the Photo app is not what the Photo app is intended for or what one would expect from the app quality of a reputable business like Premera. Thank you.
Nice app from a user friendly and interface standpoint, but overall it is missing a lot of information that is key when searching for providers in network. If the search results become accurate I could give 5 stars. But this is only 1/4 of an app.

This app annoys me. Every time I log into it, I am rerouted to the main website because I can’t complete the specific task on the app. I then have to re-login to the website. What is the point of an app that does not have all of the functionality of the website. Worthless.
Premera preventsusing the Express Scripts app on mobile devices. The Premera app does not allow one to sign in to Express Scripts. The only way to access is through the Premera site. This sends you to the Express Scrpits mobile site. That site is not as easy to use as the app. Why can’t Premera figure out how to do this?
My work changed policy number over a year ago. I logged into the Premera website and added the new account. The app has been working fine until yesterday. All of a sudden the app has the old expired policy and I don’t see any way to update the app. I can see everything fine on website but NOT on the app
No way to display my insurance card in apple wallet. Really annoying, have to pray I’ve got signal in some office or other, open the app, authenticate, and remember where to find my ID card. When the app works it’s great, but when you’re out of service it’s a huge hassle.
I have this app installed on my mobile, every time I try to sign in, it says there is a problem, it is not you it’s us and if I try in the browser it works perfectly. I uninstalled it many times and still not working.
I don’t have to carry my health insurance card in my wallet anymore! It’s also nice to have claims in the app so I dont have to wait for EOBs in the mail.
Their system is archaic and is so confusing to use. Miles behind the competition. It blows my mind they have their own unique app compared to the rest of the Anthem organization. Maybe it makes sense to them, but it’s a horrible user experience.
I put in my name, date of birth, identification number, last four digits of my SSN, create an account and then cannot sign into it. Please tell me how to do this correctly. I have repeatedly gotten “ invalid user name or password.”
Doctor information and location are out dated. No links to websites provided or even practice names. Have to google everything to see if it even still exists.
User Id and password works fine on website for a plan through employer, but the same doesn’t work in mobile app. Even I’ve tried many times, the app only says “We couldn’t log you in”. This app is pointless.
Show the password and not just stars when making account. Made one (or thought I did) finally and screen just closes. No confirmation or error message. Nothing. And Account not created. Wonder how bad it is inside the app. All the billions these health care companies have and this is the best they can do. Sad.
I’ve been trying to sign in for three days and keep seeing an error of “its not you it’s us”. I can sign in on a browser without problem. I filed this same issue over a year ago and it has still not been fixed
I haven’t been able to sign into the app for months. It says my password is incorrect. I’ve tried updating the password and deleting/reinstalling the app. If I log in on he desktop version my password works just fine.
You can’t find a provider near you because you can’t change the location, specify a location, now will the app locate you even with location turned on, off, etc.
Information regarding accounts are inaccurate. ID cards are not updated with any network changes which renders the “find a provider” section a complete waste of time. Information regarding account out of pocket/deductible differs from what is online vs app. Trying to use this app will raise your blood pressure.
I have been trying for over 2 weeks to login and this pop up displays “It’s not you it’s us. We’re working on the issue.” After 2 weeks I’m pretty sure there is a bigger issue than they think.
Please make a card version for Apple wallet. My OCD goes crazy because I have my other medical cards in there besides this one. It’s 2020 this should be a thing!
Is this app a joke or what? I couldn’t sign in at all, app asked me for my personal questions and now I can’t log in. This is not right. Also I am trying to look the Customer Service number behind the card and is impossible to read it.
