We found ourselves wanting confident, caring and more convenient healthcare givers and after doing a bit of research decided to put our healthcare needs in the hands of St. Luke’s. This was about 20 years ago and have never regretted the decision to do so. Their facilities are top notch, with up to-date technology along with highly trained and qualified staff. Their doctors, nurses, technicians etc. provide prompt and supportive healthcare needs, and their patient portal is easy to use with access to our recent medical file so we are kept up to-date in real time with any test results. If we have any questions we have instant access thru the portal to our healthcare staff and can communicate with them or set up appointments using the portal. In addition they have multiple locations throughout the metropolitan area providing additional options should we have a scheduling conflict. We are able to renew prescriptions thru the portal. I probably sound like a broken record talking about the portal but it can be used anytime day or night. I always remember I need to call the doctor or make an appointment or get a medication renewed usually around 10 o’clock at night. I no longer have to wait until tomorrow to get all of this done and I get it done at my leisure and without playing phone tag! I forgot to mention the tech nerds! We never see them and hardly ever think about them but they are the best!!!⭐️
In June of 2022 my husbands life was saved by the amazing nurses and doctors in the ICU and Pulmonary floor. He recovered much quicker than the Doctors had anticipated and was able to go home after a lengthy 41 day stay for psedomonas pneumonia. The staff at this hospital not only cared for my husband but also cared for me. He again had issues in December of 2023 and he would go no where else but St. Luke’s hospital. He was admitted for a heart issue and had a brief 5 day stay. This is the place to come for compassionate care and healing. I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone that asked.
I can’t leave a 5 star because of a couple unfortunate problems. One, they mixed up my nickname with my real name which became an insurance and medical records nightmare. Two, my PCP keeps changing to where I have to go without one for too long multiple times over the past few years due to my PCP’s moving practice location 50 miles from original that is much closer to me. I don’t know if they leave St Luke’s system or just move office location to some place closer to their own residence. But, changing PCP’s all the time makes me wait for months for appointments even to the point of doctors leaving while I am waiting for first PCP appointment.
I have been seeing Dr. Hamo and his staff for about 4-5 years now. They are very supportive, caring, and responsive. Whether you have a question about meds, labs, etc, I am able to message them and hear back from them that same day. Hamo is also very good at listening to me and letting me guide my health care plan for my autoimmune diseases. He recognizes that I have been living with them the majority of my life and can knowledgeably understand any changes I may need with my medication. I am so grateful I found him for my GP!
I hold the highest regard for St Luke’s KC. When I first started traveling to KC I was scared and unsure what they could do for me that my local Dr hadn’t. Immediately I knew I was in good hands. The level of care I’ve received is second to none. Even though the St Luke’s team has my condition stabilized, due to the complete trust I’ve established with the care teams I continue to make the 3 hour trip for my appointments. I truly appreciate everything they have done and continue to do to enhance my quality of life.
I use to be able to go on this and leave a msg for my Dr or for his nurse team. This is no longer available!! If what you are needing to do or request doesn’t fit the drop down! Once again, the patients ability to communicate with their Dr’s team has been cut! I’m sure nothing will be done to fix this problem!! I just wanted to voice my opinion . It’s amazing though when I think on it, it’s important for you to get our opinion. So the ability to do that is supported! Too bad it isn’t important enough for you to support this same platform for the convenience of the patient!!! Thank you
When using this app, and trying to communicate with doctors, this app for those who have disabilities such as blindness is not the one. Voiceover seems to have trouble with what is on the screen. If you don’t have cited assistance around, you’re likely in a jam. I hope that an update will soon fix a lot of the problems that this app has. One problem in particular is when you try to login with touch ID. You have to go through a lot of hoops just to verify who you are and that seems to be very annoying. Why do you need to enter your password for five times and then you have to walk away from your phone before you’re ready to throw it?
I was diagnosed with cancer a little over a year ago. My two primary Drs were Dr Bansal and Dr McNally. I cannot say enough good about the two of them. Both Drs have gone out of their way no just helping with direct cancer care needs but also a few issues such COVID, poison Ivy etc along the way. The goal was to keep me on tack for my treatment. The St Luke’s hospital has held its reputation in great standings with me. It has been a blessing to have such good care during a difficult time in my life.
I find this very convenient and accessible by myself as well as every doctor I see communicates well with it. It also keeps me informed and reminds me of not just what appointments I have but also what appointments I need to schedule and what the results are quickly. This is just another example why St Luke’s continues to be a step ahead of the rest in the KC metro area and beyond.
I used the app primarily for my primary doctor but when I needed an urgent care, I was able to setup a video chat, get directions to get a test, and get test results, all from the app. This is amazing as I scheduled an urgent care with Walgreens and sat in their lobby for an hour after the appointment that never happened. This app is so much more convenient.
I love the reminders and updates on each visit that is listed on this app portal. I misplace or accidentally didn't save on my calendar and then the app saves another phone call to the doctor's office for information. I only wish they would include address to doctor's office on here so I can cut and paste into Google maps.
In this world of struggling adequate work force and so many unhappy and unpleasant people, I’m happy to report and review St Luke’s; from “my chart” to nurses to technicians and of course the awesome doctors! Everyone has been so professional, really on top of their game, friendly, compassionate and ready to help at every turn; there aren’t enough stars to give them !
I find the app very helpful and well done. It provides me the ability to be much more involved with my health care and the ability to see and access history, appointments, and messaging my St Luke’s team. I’ve just scratched the surface of what it can do. The only reason I didn’t give all 5 stars is the lack of a print function. Just taking screenshots for now.
The my Saint Luke’s app is the easiest medical app I have used. The log in is quick and easy, the menus are easy to understand and if your doctors are all in the St Luke’s system they share information quickly with each other. Highly recommend this app and other medical professionals to utilize this model! Patiently, Kay
The app is fairly easy to navigate. But the great thing is how responsive Dr. Cox has been. It doesn’t matter if I think of something on a Sunday morning that I don’t want to forget. She responds that day. I’ll even say that it isn’t necessary to respond on her days off and she does it anyways. She has been responsive and caring.
I had been trying to see a neurologist for 2 years now and can never seem to make an appointment due to Covid. I recently scheduled an appointment for 3 months out and so I asked to be put on the waitlist and now I have an appointment for tomorrow because the app informed me hours before hand!
I can’t say enough good things about this app! It is very user friendly and easy to understand. Also, the app is very timely. I am able to see my recorded visits and medications immediately and the employees of St Luke’s are so great about updating information. Such a great tool to track all of my medical needs.
I went to the lees summit location on ward road today had a rash that I thought was from bites or poison ivy well it was shingles Ashley knew right away and went over all I needed to know to help me with the pain and what cream to use and what to expect I the coming days very helpful and answered all my questions this had been my second visit at this location and everyone is really Helpful and so nice I would recommend this location to anyone who needs medical advise as you can book an appointment time from your phone and get in the same day they are awesome
I brought an aunt from California and she was in the Kaiser Permanente healthcare system. They aren’t very well known for sending documentation to a new provider. 1 - I would request a location on the app so that anything we have downloaded from another medical provider can be uploaded so anybody in the St. Luke’s system can view it. 2 - It would be great if we can save to any calendar we CHOOSE such as… Google Calendar, iPhone, etc. Other than those two updates that I’ve not been able to utilize everything else has been user-friendly for those that are familiar with electronic records, etc.
The app is useful, but I ran into a problem when adding a family member and scheduling them an appointment. It would not populate on the home page and look as if there was no appointment, then the doctor’s office called asking why he had 4 appointments scheduled. I know it can be done successfully, because I can see my other children and their appointments, but not the one just added.
I have found this portal to be very helpful. It is so much better than trying to call and leave a message, and, it is very user-friendly. I have other portals with other medical systems, and they do not compare! What a wonderful service for patients! Thank you!
Don’t ever want care or treatment ANYWHERE but a St. Luke’s facility!!!
I love the care…treatment…concern…kindness I ALWAYS get at St. Luke’s. The Doctors are the BEST!!! Nurses…oh my gosh..have never found an imperfect one yet. In fact…through past experience, my husband and I both have found St. Luke’s nurses are very knowledgeable about all treatment and care they provide.
Ten years ago the liver/kidney transplant unit installed a system that would allow printing the prescription list in several forms including a pocket size. Persons that needed a list seemed very pleased with this. It provided a clear copy. Also, it contained a space for the patient to provide last taken information.
I’m trying to get over a virus and after 11 days of recovering I wasn’t improving. Requested an appointment at 2am to see a medical professional at 8am on the St Luke’s portal, Great tool! I met with Racheal who quickly explained how she diagnosed my condition with a thorough medical evaluation. Very personable professional, took great care of me
I can’t say enough positive things about the Doctors, nurses and ER staff during the week my husband was in the hospital. The care and tenderness they showed to both my husband and my family was beyond belief. Our one and only complaint was that the food was awful.
I struggle with speaking on the phone with care providers sometimes. Sometimes it’s easier to message them through the portal. It’s also helped me see my diagnosis that they don’t always explain or tel you about in the office.
I really appreciate the My Chart ap because it is user friendly and essential for reviewing my medical information to investigate accuracy of visit/ POC documentation. Also, a convenient way to set appointments and message my health provider team.
I really like most things about it. Staff is always very helpful and kind. I really like my doctor. The problem is I can’t get in to see her for illnesses that come on suddenly. You have to book appointments around 3 months in advance, so I have to go to Convenient care places. Doesn’t really feel like I have a primary care Dr.
I really enjoyed the care I received from the staff and Doctors at Saint Lukes hospital, I don’t think there are enough words to express my sincere gratitude I felt during my two-week stay after surgery! Thank you to EVERYONE who played a role in my care! Thank you Saint Lukes.
Won’t update. I repeated keep getting message about a new upgraded app and to please install it before proceeding. I have the most up to date version available. I have documents and messages waiting. This is super-frustrating. I force closed the app. I deleted the app and reinstalled. No matter which version I choose in the App Store I get the same message.
The St. Luke’s App is one of the best applications I’ve seen, and used. The layout is very user friendly, even for us old folks. It’s well thought out, display graphics are crisp and clean and not overwhelming the page. Well done!
This app is really convenient for keeping things organized and I love that I can ask any question and be answered quickly by a medical professional. It's also super user friendly and feels secure.
The new version is difficult to log-in (does not allow thumbprint) difficult to navigate (long lis at beginning is frustrating, gimme just a few choices). It was very easy to navigate before so I could go through my list of meds quickly, now I find myself sighing 2-3 times before my attempts of getting there are finished. It was a cleaner more efficient design before. Please consider rolling back.
This is such a user friendly app. The only thing I would change is the ability to make an appointment with any physician or office not just the ones you have been to.
Somehow gotten a rush upon my hand which seem like no explanation why it happened to be Staph infection in and out ever since had the three Covid boosters as well friendlier than what seem like have to be towards me as well
We have had a need for scheduling numerous tests, lab work and doctors appointments with Saint Luke’s. Their portal App is not only perfect for scheduling and keeping track of appointments but seeing results of all very quickly. We would be lost without it!
I like the portal however there are areas that need tweaking. The bills could be more user friendly and also test results. Sometimes it is not clear as to what results or what exactly the fee due and why
I love a lot of things about St. Luke’s. But at the of the day, this app provides me with more value as it relates to staying on top of my healthcare than anything else. In fact, I actually enjoy using it!
I love the patient portal within the app. I can email my doctor, quickly see my lab results and make appointments. It’s great not having to play phone tag with my doctor’s office. All the info I need is right on my phone.
Dr Kohl is one of my favorite doctors! I am one of those ppl who avoid going to doctor unless I feel like I might be dying. She always takes the time to listen and give good feedback for my concerns. Her nurses are also great.
The care that I have received from everyone that is associated with Saint Luke’s has been incredible and frankly has probably saved my life since switching all my healthcare to the St. Luke’s group as of January 2024!!
Every staff member I have encountered have been totally awesome; while being professional, they are also very personable and “family oriented”. I will recommend Rock Hill Orthopedics. (St. Luke’s) to anyone who needs them.
I have had a great relationship with all of St Luke’s locations. Great people. Very knowledgeable, make you feel that they really care, easy to get from one location to another. Awesome service!!!
Using/having this app is a life saver. It would have been so useful many years ago. I personally love this app as I’m forgetful and will forget the minute I leave with the Doctors office.
My family has had many needs for medical attention and St Luke’s has always been my preferred location. Drs and nurses are very attentive and listen! I highly recommend St Luke’s Hospitals.
I’m a patient of Dr. Cianciolo and I was planning on scheduling my annual check-in visit via the app. I go to - Schedule Appointment - and pick up to 8 different time slots but it appears all displayed ‘Available time’ are no longer available. Please don’t show me the time box if the Dr. Is not available.
This is one the best non medical developments in the health industry. Giving the patients the ability to track their health on their own is a great idea. Being able to communicate with the medical team is invaluable.
I love the features of the portal however I wish it allowed me to see past medications prescribed. It doesn’t allow me to go back any further than 2020.
Saint Luke’s Health System is top notch. Excellent care providers and efficient system. I can retrieve all my information from this app, message doctors, make appointments.
