I’ve only used beginner Teeter free step videos, but I can never hear the music or beat that the leader refers to. The voice over overwhelms the music tracks
Emails account password in plain text when registering
Upon registering for an account, which is required if you don't want to link with your Apple ID, I got an email thanking me for registering which included my password I setup in plain text. This means at least two things: 1) they are storing the account password in plain text rather than hashing it with a secure one-way hash. This is terrible security. Amongst other things, it means that if teeter is ever breached, the attackers have everyone's full account credentials with zero effort. 2) My account information including name, email, and phone number (had I included it) and of course password are effectively compromised. Email is an insecure medium. Had I not used a one-off password and instead been the sort of person who uses the same password for everything, I'd be in serious trouble. There are no good technical reasons to store the password unhashed nor are there good reasons to send the password over email after registering. That's what password reset links are for. This is a ridiculous security flaw that saves nothing in convenience. Please fix this, Teeter.
So I LOOOOOVE my Fit form, I also love that it comes with free instructional videos but I have terrible eyesight and playing the videos on my iPad I can not get the video to play full screen, is there a setting I am missing? If this could be fixed I would give this 5 stars! This is really a great and affordable product that I am already seeing weight drop off. Please let me know if there is an adjustment to this issue.
I ordered the fit form from Teeter and use this app for my workouts. So far I've finished about 10 different ones and I already feel a difference in my energy. The trainers are easy to follow along with. Love this product and the app.
Very easy to use and very helpful! With the Fitform machine, there are so many exercises you can do so having workouts on this app really made it fun to use. The app is easy to navigate. I can't wait for more workouts!
I bought the inversion table and the fitspine-lx9-freestep-lt3-bundle, and this app is helpful for getting started and workouts. I’ve only used the beginner workouts, but have been pleased Yao far.
I have a FitForm and Teeter inversion table, and this app has helped me to keep working out and inverting regularly. I love the variety of workouts, and the trainers are inspiring and creative in their approach.
I wanted to display the videos on my iPad, but they are YouTube-hosted and don’t permit expanding to full screen from within the app. So I’m stuck with something the same size on the iPad as it is on the iPhone. Disappointed in that.
Fonts are terrible to read. My eyesight isn’t bad, but even with reading glasses on the script font is the absolute worst and you can’t zoom in. The UI crashes going from landscape to portrait. Once you attempt to watch a video in landscape mode you are forced to kill the app before you can resume any navigation in it.
I just started using this with my new Freestep LT3 and the variety and quality of workouts are very good. It would’ve been helpful to know that the speeds were given in kilometers per hour along with instructions to change from miles to kilometers on the console. The problem I have is that I use my iPad with the app during workouts, and there seems to be no way to maximize the video. It ends up being very tiny. Viewing the video directly on YouTube means that there are interruptions for ads.
In my opinion this app violates the App Store terms of service because the app is useless without a login and they don’t offer Sign In with Apple. It tells me they don’t respect my privacy so I am deleting the app and will use the equipment without Zuckerberg buying my user data.
A recent update has made this app unusable on iPad. The video is in the top 1/4 of the screen with no way to expand it. If you hit the full screen icon it complains the browser doesn’t support full screen. It’s not in a browser, it’s an app!!!! This worked for years just fine & now is unusable. There is no way any testing was done on this!,
The equipment is great, but the app is pretty lame. 1. No Landscape mode in iPads or iPhones. 2. Vids now shoved into the top 3rd of the screen in Portrait mode which makes them pretty useless. 3. No ability to link out to the YouTube site that would allow FULL SCREEN! 4. Sound was either poorly recorded or reduced with the Move App. Come on Teeter, your HQ if is the shadow of the 2nd largest Tech Sector in the US, why can’t you put just a little more effort in the apps that would make your products more useful/impactful/attractive.
I have experienced log in problems and also rotation of the screen from landscape to portrait on several occasions. All other apps work to 100% capacity on the iPad. The iPad is working. Furthermore, the Teeter Move app works on my iPhone but for optimal viewing conditions I prefer the iPad. Viewing the classes on YouTube is problematic as it’s loaded with ads. Hopefully, Teeter will fix the bugs. The content of the app is very useful for developing a workout routine.
Poor UI & Poor optimization. They could’ve just posted videos to their YouTube channel and it would’ve been a better experience. This app offers you nothing.
