Best Total body fitness app out there!
As a personal trainer since 2006, ironically, I’ve struggled with having consistency with my own workouts. Having the TRX app has allowed to have my own digital trainer and program for MY needs and my schedule. With the wide range of workouts that the app offers, it allows you to choose from level of intensity, time available for a workout, or even incorporating other modes of training (like kettlebells to battle ropes). This has empowered me to stay fit not only for myself, but for my personal training business as well. I love TRX. It has truly been a blessing for me in so many ways. TRX has enriched my life monetarily, my clients’ health and fitness, and also my own fitness program. I thank God for TRX! Amen!

Workouts are great, the app is not very usable, and customer support is spotty to non existent
The app regularly loses my workouts, putting up the spinner right as I finish, never allowing me to save, and it eventually crashes. Per customer support I’ve uninstalled and restored multiple times. The actual workouts are great, and I can make them harder as I improve. Some of the training videos forget to switch sides, just moving on to the next exercise. When I realize this, I just rewind and do the exercise again on the other side. I tried the calendar but it’s way too manual, going to each exercise adding it to one calendar date which doesn’t even display the day of week. I’d like to select an exercise and choose which days of the week I’ll use it (repeating), or tell it to repeat that exercise every Nth day. Sometime when I rotate the phone to landscape and back, the buttons disappear until I close the app. Does anyone at trx use the app? Searching for workouts is usable but could be way better with check box style filters, (x)kettle bell and (x)TRX straps, (x) suspension training and (x) HIIT, with the existing (x)20-40 mins. Overall I love the TRX straps, and the app is barely tolerable. If I didn’t regularly lose data it would be 4 stars. I originally thought to rate 1 star for data loss, but this isn’t crapware, and has potential to improve. Downgrading from 3 to 2 since customer support hasn’t responded after several feedbacks sent due to losing my workouts.

Needed an upgrade but it moved in the wrong direction
I started using the TRX app during the pandemic shutdown and I’m glad I got it. After a year I started looking for some new options though. I reluctantly renewed the membership for another year right before the app and its contents were updated. I figured even if I was bored with the options it was still effective and efficient. I wish I hadn’t and would love my money back. Many of the new app features are big set backs for me. Perhaps the biggest is the inability to play my own music since all the workouts are prerecorded videos. Additionally, as videos they override any other audio playing and force a landscape mode. The app only functions in portrait but the videos only play in landscape. Seriously? Next might be that the videos start off with wasted time trying to teach you the exercises they are about to do. Commonly a 10 minute workout is 8 minutes of talking. You can’t easily skip to the next exercise or section if that’s appropriate. You’re left trying to fiddle with the scrub slider or wait it out. That makes total sense for the first go round but when it’s the same video over and over and there’s no other option, that doesn’t work. Finally, so much of the app is based around selling more product. I already have the straps and I want to work out. That’s it. That’s what I paid for. Can we just do that?

A few frustrations
I love the TRX concept, the hardware, and the workouts. I do have some frustrations with the app, though. One is an occasional bug where the forward-pause-play-backward controls disappear when you are in portrait mode. You can rotate to landscape to get the controls there, but once they disappear in portrait, they are gone until the workout is over. This has happened to me maybe once every 15 or 20 workouts. What is far more aggravating, though, is the need to download (and wait, wait, wait) every workout when you try to open it. The same workout I did two days ago? Need to re-download it. Finish a workout and five seconds later want to re-open it to work on one specific exercise again? You need to re-download it. So frustrating. I have a 256GB device - why can the app not cache some of these workouts on the device? I’ve learned to start a download, go do some dumbbell work, and then check back to see if the download is done. It is aggravating.

Looks like a great app but...
Search function either doesn’t work or there aren’t workouts that fit my parameters? My community gym has a TRX and I am looking for a beginner workout. I searched for indoor suspension workout at beginner level for 20-40 min. Results came in with many workouts for biking, running, HIIT, foam rolling, “explosive strength” (?) and a couple that sounded beginner-ish. Yet you click on them and it clearly says intermediate level. I have never used this so really need a beginner basic workout that won’t scare me away and maybe might e courage me to pay for other options in the app. Looked at a “fat burn” that appeared it might fit for me but I. Previewing g I wonder how is an “atomic plank” a beginner move? I will be in a gym where others are and really don’t want to make a complete fool of myself the first time out - will guarantee I never try again. Off to google to find a simple pdf to follow. Maybe will try again another time if I see an update.

Well set up, but not for true beginners, and it DOES COST
I was Looking for a TRX app that would have flexibility in how to do the exercises to account for differing levels of fitness. It says it has beginner programs, but the ones I tried had things I could not possibly do (atomic push-up? I'm still struggling to do a single push-up on the floor!) So if you are a beginner, this app is not for you. I have had personal trainers who have used trx in beginners routines so I know it can be done, but this app does not do it very well. If you are an athlete, however, it has a nice range of exercises and types of activities. The 14 day trial was a surprise - but bad on me for not reading the entire description. I'll have to go in to my settings and make sure it doesn't automatically charge me in two weeks. I expected an "in app purchase" flag in the App Store and it doesn't have one.

Holy Moly this is a Killah!!
I thought I was in decent shape and fitness (lol) but I my gym schedule became erratic due to working at a startup. So I quit spending $30 at the corporate money vampire gym and decided to buy the TRX Pro as it was on special. I did a workout, the basic Weight Loss one (20 mins) and oh my goodness it was wicked hard. I was dripping sweat like you could not believe about halfway through the workout. It burned me out so much I couldn’t even walk up the hill when I took my dog for a walk afterwards. After about 30 mins of lying on the floor in tired self-pity, I finally had the courage to get up and shower. So I recommend this. I can see my fitness will (hopefully) do a 180 while using this.

New app doesn’t fix old issues, and takes away most of what worked.
Although it wasn’t perfect (Active Calories never recorded properly into Health/Fitness apps), I liked the way the workouts were set up on the previous version of the app. You could pull up a workout and see what exercises were involved before starting it, and (sometimes, but this feature didn’t always work) watch an instructional video clip of each move before beginning the routine, so once you got started, you could focus on your workout. Plus, you could have your favorite moto tunes running in the background, and it would fade them out a little so you could hear the coach instructions at the beginning and end of each set. Now, there’s no list of exercises each routine includes, no watch app (therefore no native logging into Health/Fitness info), and no tunes.

App is an exercise in frustration
The workouts are great, the training plan sounds awesome. But good luck trying to use it. The interface bugs out, you will get stuck on a screen and need to close the program and reopen. Sometimes the screen wont rotate, or if it does, it will get stuck. The Training plans would be great if I could get them to open. Most of the time I cant. The buttons just dont respond, I have pressed the “go” button over and over, try different screens, because there’s at least two screens that you can see your schedule from, i think I saw a third one...but it nothing happens. I will try and reopen the app, i will stop the training plan, restart it. Sometimes that works. But then it will come back and I usually give up trying to use it and just pick random workouts. I would have hoped that an update would have come out by now to fix something basic interface issues. It also blows my mind that apple has some kind of deal with TRX and has more features for Apple Watch as opposed to a Fitbit. Yet the app works so poorly on my iPad and iPhone. There’s plenty more issues, I saw others mentioned in other reviews, but I wanted to cover just basic interface as it has been my largest frustration.

Great Start
I have used a TRX at a gym before. I know it is a great training product. I thought it was important to write a review as a non fitness training professional setting this up at home. I bought one for the home gym to attach to my monster rack for doing more than just squats, deadlifts bench etc. it feels awkward at first, but the video trainer helps tremendously. I can imagine the efficiency will increase significantly as we use it more. The range of motion and flexibility benefits of TRX are already noticeable. We are very happy with the product so far.

Makes working out fun and easy
I’m happy with the app, it got me into a full on TRX workout groove. Things I wish for: - why is it so hard to find workout “programs”? I love being able to set up a 4 week program for 3 days a week, but i can only ever find 3 or 4 of these programs. - where’s the favorite button? Sometimes I’ll look at a workout and see a button to “add to favorites” but it’s rare, I don’t know where the button went to but I can’t find it anymore. And it’s helpful to have a list of my favorite workouts in one place. - faster downloads - new content, I’m on this almost every day for four months; no new content? - more kettlebell and RIP trainer workouts - there’s only one workout that uses the RIP more than once, and only a few others that use it. More content here would be awesome I also like the heart rate tracking and integration with iOS health. I know TRX just released the new club with on-demand and live workouts. But I don’t want to switch over to that until they have an app and also more of the kind of RIP content I’m looking for.

Subscription yet no new content!
Update: still no new content. Why subscribe if there is no new content? A subscription comes with your TRX but I would hesitate to subscribe given lack of sessions and attention to new workouts. Update: Months and no new workouts. For subscription services, content should be refreshed regularly. I would recommend a different suspension trainer app or even you tube given the lack of updates. Limited content—with focus on runs and other things instead of the TRX. I have apps for cycling and running. Focusing on the TRX would help this app actualize its promise to provide TRX workouts. Old review: This is the best version of the app yet. What more, I received a free year with my TRX purchase directly from the TRX site. That said if I was paying to continue my subscription or a new subscriber I would want new content at regular intervals. The workouts are good and more challenging than workouts I put together on trx apps. However I would love to see some new sessions. I don’t use the non-TRX material as I have other apps for that so I think the best bet for a trx app would be to focus on the suspension trainer workouts. Keep new workouts coming or consider a one-time purchase app.

Latest updated is lacking
This new update is pretty terrible. No more calendar to schedule workouts, no more history of past workouts completed, no more run down of what’s in the workout before playing it. These were all the reasons I started paying for this specific workout app and now they’re all gone. Also the new layout is confusing and messy. Playing the videos and the title is overlapping multiple times on the screen or the volume display won’t go away? All seems like programming errors that should have been corrected before release. The pictures in the App Store are also not even updated? Those images are from the older version which was great…

Trainers are almost impossible to follow along with.
The trainers on this app are not very clear about when exactly to start each exercise. Sometimes they count you down after explaining the first couple reps, other times they just start talking through the exercise and assume you’re staring at the phone screen instead of, you know, working out… Then, all of the sudden, they’re done with that exercise and you missed it because you were waiting for them to tell you to start like they did for the other exercises. They also tend to adjust the strap length without telling you where they moved it to. Also, you can’t even listen to your own music, the app won’t allow it. You can only listen to one of their 4 preset playlists.

Old app was much better
The old app was great- It had a written description of each workout and a list of the exercises in it so you could decide if it was the right workout for you. It also allowed you to listen to your own music in the background, which I loved. The new app has no list of exercises, so the only way to know whether a workout is suitable for you is to review the video (which is time consuming and annoying). Also, the new app prevents you from listening to your own music in the background, which was a great feature of the old app. Who doesn’t want to work out to their own favorite workout music? Instead, the new app has “curated” a short selection of music that, in my view, is totally undesirable. Very disappointing.

New update is terrible!! Bring back the old!!
I am so defeated. I loved loved loved the old version of the app. I loved the trainers, the timer, and the fact that I could listen to music through the app. I had some family loss this last year and took a break from working out… anyway, just started back up to try the new app and it’s terrible!!! Doesn’t give me a break down of exercises in the workout, the videos have terrible steaming (I do it in our garage gym which doesn’t have the best wifi)… I used to be able to download the video so there was no steaming. I could just click the button and it would start without hiccups. Not anymore!!! And I can’t listen to music while I workout!!!! Soooo bad. I just want to cry. Please bring back the old app!!!

Latest update huge disappointment
I never thought the day would come whet I miss the old TRX format. In fact I was so delighted when the update was first released as sorting options and the workout library was much user friendlier. However my first workout in the update was a nightmare. What happened to the structure? Why can’t you see each time interval? There’s not even a preview to tell you the exercises included in each workout? This is a disaster. The format of the workout in the previous version was fabulous. What needed to happen was the upgrade to the library and sorting options, which is where this updated should’ve stopped. Hugely disappointed as I don’t see myself subscribing for these new no structure workouts

Terrible
The new update is terrible. I feel like the community is spot on when I read all the 1-star reviews that are flowing in since the update. I just spent 30min on phone with TRX going through all the features they took away and they literally could not explain how this is an “upgrade” to a new app. All good features removed and not replaced. By the end of the call all he could say was they were “working on it” but no idea how to make things right and nothing they can do right now. So I am paying a membership for a product that was severely downgraded after I purchased it, and nothing concrete they will do about it. It is so disappointing for a company I used to respect and trust to completely abandon their customers like this.

Looks like it contains great info, but...
I cannot get this app to download these workouts at all. I’ve used several other online streaming services and was excited to have one that focused on my new bands. Unfortunately I have yet to be able to access a single workout through this app. It just doesn’t work. The online versions on the website work well, but the content there is so extremely limited. This was a trial basis app, and I’m glad for that, as I will not continue my membership unless these bugs can be fixed. I would expect to be able to stream any workout on the app, and have the ability to download specific workouts to my phone for use when I’m away from the internet, as some other, very popular apps do. Overall, I’m not impressed.

I wish I could give it zero stars
TRX straps are pretty darn great, well made, easy to use, pretty much just right. Even the entry level, consumer grade straps are great. Unfortunately, this app comes nowhere close to that quality. The UX is confusing, and the syncing with Apple Watch is hit-or-miss, and mostly miss. Sometimes it sends nothing at all, sometimes it will send workout minutes. Seldom does it send the calories burned. Which is totally incompetent, as they even have a component running ON THE WATCH, and yet still can’t talk to the watch. Another annoyance is that sometimes it loses track of the heart rate, and then interrupts to say “I can’t find the heart rate monitor on your Apple Watch. Please adjust the band or clean the sensor.” It might conceivably be useful to say that once, ever, but the app will sometimes announce that three times in a 15 minute workout. Totally annoying. And although it would be really useful to see the videos on my iPad, this app is still just the tiny little phone screen, lost in the middle of the iPad. Truly an awful app. This would be a crap app if it were free, but it’s not! It’s expensive! No excuse for it.

Excellent workouts
I have been using my home TRX for about a year. I have found it and the TRX app to be such a valuable tool that I no longer have a gym membership. I work with a personal trainer who has been trained on using the equipment twice a week and we use the straps in every workout. My only suggestion would be to have more resources for adapting exercises for individuals with disabilities. I am a BK amputee and need to adapt exercises to meet balance and flexibility issues. My trainer is fully able to do that for me but I would like more independence in adaptations for when I work out on my own.

Really Good, But Not Perfect
Overall good app. Few gaps that keep it from being perfect. - Watch integration is buggy. Stars have to align for the “Start” on the watch to pop up. - Portrait Mode on iPad. You can go to landscape for the actual workout, but can only interact with the app menus in portrait. Would like to see this changes. - Saving Workout Programs. I haven’t seen where you can “start a program” or something and save to “my programs”. You can save individual workouts, but each time I want to do the next workout in a program (e.g. Start to Strong) - I have to go through the workout menus and find it all over again. - Rating Workouts. Peloton app has great functionality here that TRX would do well to mimic. Did you like the class? How hard was it? Did you like the instructor? Can then help you find instructors you like, have better recommendations, etc.

Terrible “upgrade” to the app
I got my TRX bands for Christmas and started using the app. It was great! There was a breakdown of the movements available when you clicked on a workout so you knew what was coming. When you started a workout there was a timer that told you how long until the next movement. The person leading the workout would make occasional comments to encourage and guide. All of that has been replaced by this piece of crap app. I have no idea what to expect in each workout other than how long it lasts and what equipment I need. I have no idea how long I am going to be doing a movement until the annoying instructor who doesn’t shut up tells me it’s time. This thing is basically unusable!

Stale
I’ve had this app, and my TRX, for years. I love the TRX for the different style of work it gives you versus weights or plyo work—especially as a supplement to running—but the app is stale. It’s not optimized to run on an iPad, the videos freeze, it’s buggy to try and download workouts, and sometimes it just crashes. Worse, the content hasn’t improved in the years I’ve owned it. It’s the same workouts with the same repetitive trainer voice-overs. The plans never change, and after a while there’s only so many of the same four exercises you can do. I periodically just stop my workouts because they’re flat out dull. You’re losing ground to more dynamic content like what’s on he Peloton or Nike apps.

Alrighty, then…
Since the update, I really do dig a lot of the workouts and, in part, the new format. However, there are several missing components from the original version, such as: - Being able to download workouts for offline use (don’t always have WiFi- on purpose) - Being able to favorite workouts so you don’t have to go thru filters every single day - Being able to play your own media (music, podcasts, etc) during workouts - Having the option not to be coached thru workouts (the trainers are great, but sometimes I’m just not in that mood lol).

Works great but lack of updates
Update: It does seem to be some effort to record these workout but lack of updates is a problem. This could be so much more than just a limited time freebie thrown in with the trx purchase For those not finding their old workouts, the video ones i think under settings workout library you can restore these. This is essentially a modified version of Pear which has been long in the market so the number of bugs is low and updates should be frequent Knocked 1 star off because there are not enough longer workout yet, I mean longer than 30 minutes. You need a lot more as some of these require additional equipment which I don't always have. Doing multiple shorter ones isn't cutting it cause they usually have warm up and cool down. Besides that being able to search by user level is not working yet, I do think to be able to see if a workout is for beginner or advanced is a must have. Also please do not add too many bike or running workouts. I can get that from other apps.

Good but needs improvement
I like this version of the app but there are some big issues missing items. Air play, when you try and stream this to an airplay device the video will stop as soon as the phone screen shuts off. I tried disabling my screen lock and after 30-60 the video would stop anyway. If you use the web version instead of the app you can airplay without issue. In the previous version they would list all of the exercises in the routine and even had linked demonstration videos on how to perform them. This help keep the flow and intensity during the real workout. The removal of the calendar and ability to schedule exercises was a mistake. It was really nice that you could schedule your workouts and click a link to load them. It was also nice that they had preset training programs you could follow. These were great features that are all missing from the current version.

Needs update
This app needs to be updated - for some reason, because the workouts use a countdown timer, Apple health calculates the start and finish times in reverse. Generally this isn’t a problem, but if I choose to walk on a treadmill before using the TRX, my walking workout and TRX workout end up having data written in top of each other. Then I get less exercise minute credit and less movement credit. In my mind, I know I’ve done the work, but man, it’s nice to fill those circles. Otherwise the app is great - workouts are challenging and feedback is good. I hope new workouts get added regularly to keep me motivated. I love using my TRX!

Great app - Learning a lot
I’ve been using the suspension trainer for a few years prior to discovering this app. I wish I knew about it sooner. I’ve learned a ton from the trainers. If you have a suspension trainer or use it at the gym, I highly recommend downloading this app. You’ll learn the full potential of the capabilities on the straps and get the most out of your training. Since using this app, I’ve experienced soreness in muscles I never knew existed.

Disappointing all around
Transitions are too quick: The app gives you 15 seconds to adjust the strap lengths, while simultaneously understand the workout. I found myself constantly burning workout time to understand what to do. Data display is terrible especially on Apple Watch: The app effectively asks to take over writing data from the Apple Watch. If you try to run the standard workout function with the TRX app running, it will auto turn off the Apple workout, thus leaving you with no data. It does not sync the data with the rest of your workout data afterwards either. It also does not display any data on the watch during the workout. You simply see “Exit” and “Pause” on your watch screen.

Pretty good but some fixes / enhancements needed
App works pretty well overall and has a nice library of different workouts. I wish there was a better way to organize/ schedule on demand workouts though. It’s a bit clunky to try to build your own program from the different workouts they have. Also not easy to track what preset programs you are using and where you are within each. Beyond that my only issue is with screen mirroring. The video will mirror but I lose audio every time. It’s an issue with both iPhone and iPad apps.

Can’t add calorie and heart rate
The app doesn’t connect with Fitbit and Garmin. Fine, but why not let us manually add our calorie burn and heart rate after our workout. Great, I finish workouts but I want to feel rewarded. Please add an edit feature to saved workouts. Also, the ‘how to’ getting started videos...the audio doesn’t match the video. While explaining how to set up the exercises, the coaches are already doing the exercise. Slow down! With technique being critical to these workouts you’ve got to spend more time explaining and showing the fundamentals so we get the full effect from doing the exercise correctly.

Disappointed
While the exercise equipment itself is well-made and functional, I'm deeply disappointed by the complete lack of instructional resources in the app teaching proper form and technique for targeting specific muscle groups. As someone who invested over $250, I expected more than just the hardware - a few simple tutorial videos or animated guides could have transformed this into a comprehensive fitness solution. Instead, I'm left with high-quality gear but no dedicated way to learn how to use it effectively without paying extra for classes, and that I don't need. Add a section for muscle group animated instructions, if somehow its in the app please direct me where I find it to change my review. Thanks.

TRX is a great workout APP
This is my second review. Previous review is below the dotted line from two years ago. I am a big believer of the TRX workout. However, I would like to see some updates to the app. 1. Update the workouts in particular the TRX rip trainer! I get the emails but at some point in the year incorporate them into the app. 2. Go to the 24hr clock aka military time. The a.m. and p.m. is for children. 3. Some workouts have the narrator telling the person to begin the workout when it is actually a rest. Please review the narrations and make necessary edits. .............. I have used the TRX app and TRX Force app for several years. At 45 years of age, I have found the app and suspension straps useful to keeping fit while serving in the military. Note: the TRX 1200 pm time falls on the next day when scheduling a workout. Meaning instead of 1200 noon it falls on 1200 evening. App designers need to verify the time stamps and I would recommend 24 hr time stamps for scheduling.

Anything to make life easier
As a working mom of twins, I need easy access to effective workouts that I can do anywhere and anytime. What I love most about the TRX app is I can pick the length of time and the type of workout. I also love that I can choose a focus like just core or arms or lower body too! Highly recommend having this app at your fingertips!

Basically useless
Why not develop an iPad app? Instead of jamming the iPhone app onto the iPad? If you’re trying to actually workout while using the app, the iPhone is too small. On the iPad, the videos cannot be maximized to fit the screen. And when you rotate the iPad to landscape, the screen gets…SMALLER?! seriously, how hard is it to make an app for the iPad? The only use for this app would be if you have the ability to share the screen to a larger screen like your tv. But even then your stuck with the video not opening full screen. Useless.

Still has glitches after years
I deleted this app a year ago and decided to try it again. Takes forever for downloads, and with the apples watch Even though it says you can stream music from other music apps , it won’t let me, and can’t hear the coaches over the music on the ones with actual coaches. I’ve had a TRX for about 8 years now. Your original online program was awful, so this is a big improvement. Maybe in another 5 years you’ll get it. Way to ‘Rock not Roll’😂

Great App. Could be better with iPad version
Overall great app. Would be better if there was an iPad version that allowed you to view the app in landscape view. This would make it easier to view the content of the workouts as opposed to viewing it on a phone screen. It would also be nice if the trainer would perform more than one rep in the sample video so the user can perfect the form of the motion. It’s a hassle to have to pause the workout and tap the info button to view the sample video.

Needs to be revamped
This app has potential but needs A LOT of work to get there. The workouts need to be better categorized and organized based on fitness goals and target muscles. It should have a list of all potential exercises based on muscle group, then let you build your own workout. If I want to target biceps, I should be able to see all possible movements to do it. It needs a smother, better looking interface. Also, make it better compatible with the iPad! Honestly, just scrap this app and do a ground-up rewrite. You’re based in the Bay Area so it shouldn’t be that hard.

What happened!?
After some time off, I was excited to get back to my favorite TRX routines (modules), so I resubscribed for a whole year without checking the App Store or reviews. Big mistake. The wannabe Peloton format is terrible. As a middle aged athlete, I have a collection of old injuries and joint issues. I LOVED the modules, because I could adjust each exercise per my needs, repeat those I loved, and skip those that aggravated old injuries. I actually REALLY just want a series of modules where I can build my own workouts, with the instructions and count downs. Why can’t they improve on their own strengths rather than trying to copy another brand?

Hard to use, needs more variety
I have been using this app for over a year now. And while I love the workouts that are there it’s a bit disappointing that there have not been a lot of new additions in the past year. I was really excited when I saw two new workouts loaded but there is no option to skip the intro and when I am short on time and have already heard the intro before it’s annoying not to be able to scrub forward. Equally frustrating is the inability to go back when I have missed an instruction. Please fix this TRX if you are going to charge for the use of this app.

Disappointing
TRX products are great, but they should just license to someone who really knows how to guide a workout and create app content. The video never shows how the person working out is adjusting the straps or getting into position during the workout. It’s just a voiceover while the video shows the workout. In the workouts I have done there was strap adjustment between almost every exercise and I had to pause the workout to adjust them and get into the starting position. At a minimum having the video be the same person offering instruction and doing it along with you would go a long way.

Poorly executed. Pay your developers and qa team.
Tried to work out with the watch only and it was a mess. Workout kept restarting. Completed one exercise and it started giving instructions for the next one, then kept tripping over itself and restarting the insructions. Switched to iPhone with Apple Watch allegedly giving heart rate and displaying work out stats. Only captured one workout’s worth of calories. I did the same 15min routine back to back. With the iPhone led routine you don’t get audio through the watch so if your headphones are connected only to the watch you’re sol. Honestly idk how this made it to the Apple store it’s so awful. Pay your developers better.

Great workout, can use some improvements
I’ve been doing trx for 2 months now have completely transformed my body. I have hit 39 hours and my workouts stopped being saved. This is a little upsetting because it shows that I did not complete workouts and my hours are not increasing. If this were to be fixed and more advanced trx rope exercises were added this would definitely be a 5 star! Still recommend

Love this app
I have searched the web for trx workouts, but couldn’t what I was looking for, they were either to short or not a full workout. I am retiring from the Military and won’t have gyms at my disposal anymore. I have never used a TRX Suspension Trainer before and was not sure on proper techniques. This App gives full video training along with time. This was exactly what I needed to get me going until I develop my own workout!!!

Good but....
It’s a good app for the most part. But the thing that annoys me the most is how the video stops during the workouts because of outside streaming devices like Apple Music. Songs on Apple Music are DRM protected and you can’t play them through the app itself. If you play songs through the app itself then the video doesn’t stop. It’s super annoying. But when you get a hang of the workouts and how to do them, it’s not a huge bother. PLEASE FIX THE CONTINUATION OF VIDEO WHILE USING OUTSIDE MUSIC STREAMING APPS LIKE APPLE MUSIC AND PANDORA!!

Buggy / Underdeveloped
I know the TRX community is large, but the workout program library on this app is pretty small. I could certainly be in the wrong place but I see only a handful of multi-week programs. Additionally, once I enrolled in one of the limited 4wk programs - the app was buggy and would not let me launch the current day’s workout I was trying to complete. Overall, I am happy with the TRX system, and I think the workouts are good - I just wish there was a bigger library to choose from which feels like a simple add.

Unorganized mess
Nothing more than a long list of videos in semi -random order. Lacks name specific searching. You must watch or manual skim though the video to learn what’s involved. No list of exercises or sets to evaluate beforehand. This is an app for people who do random exercises — not those looking for a program path to success. They’ve been collecting my monthly fee for three months, but half the workouts listed prompt me to subscribe for an entire year in advance and are inaccessible unless I pay up. This was money wasted.

Live classes not available on the app??
I have the full membership which gives me access to live classes and on-demand, but I’m never able to use the app for the live classes. I have to open my email and click a few links to join my class. The “Live” tab just shows a generic screen telling me to sign up free for 7 days, but when I go to the settings tab, it shows I have the unlimited membership. Absolute waste of an app as I was hoping to not have to click through all of these tabs to join these live classes on my phone. Will cancel at the end of this period.

Login and Token Redemption Issues
I have been unable to log into the app whether it’s on my mobile phone, iPad, or even laptop computer. Very frustrating that I am unable to connect to a live person to express this concern of mine, and keep getting the workaround electronically. Additionally, I have a token that I’m trying to redeem, and seem to be getting error pages every time I try to login to access my locker. If this is an indication of what is to come with the app, very very disappointing. These apps should be user-friendly, and I’m only growing more and more frustrated with the app portion.
