Going to VIDA can be addictive. Classes can be quite challenging (which is what you want), but also fun, with personable and approachable instructors. I’d like some straight weightlifting classes at mid-day, which currently aren’t offered (due to a sports injury, I avoid the typical jumping around that usually gets combined with weights), but other than that I’m 100% pleased.
I am enjoying the layout and cleanliness of the gym I am really enjoying my trainer Reno Yep I say that with a grain of salt 😁 The rooftop pool is really nice so far I’m happy with my decision to join
The check box is virtually invisible when you go to book a reservation. It would be great if the outline of the box was an orange or purple color so people notice cirrus’s being “stuck” on Continue. Also, the SunBeds are the moment! Great addition. I did notice a guest (I assume from the day prior loft glitter makeup or sunscreen all over the upholstery, may be best to add that to a cleanup checklist to make sure to spot clean to maintain the new wonderful addition to the pool. Thank you!
Pretty comprehensive app. Only thing I feel is missing is the ability to see/manage guest passes for the pool and gym within the app. Would be nice to be able to purchase guest passes on the app and see a tally of how many you have, instead of having to go to the front desk for this.
First of all, instead of just updating their old app, VIDA released a NEW app that I had to download. Then, they created the most confusing, annoying, ugly app I’ve ever seen. It looks like something from the App Store circa 2010. It takes so many clicks just to get to the schedule for my gym, and I have no idea what all the other features do. This is a total failure and it’s still not integrated well with the points system. Here’s a hint to your dev and UX team, look at the Equinox app.
this app has no useful features... wanna book a pool? Redirects to a web form that you have to fully fill out. Wanna check your points? Still have to do a web login to perkville. We already have Facebook and a web browser. If you are gonna make an app for members, make it useful for members, let me book classes, appointments, check my points, etc. Why do I need a barcode card when you took my fingerprints already?
As a senior software developer, this app is crap. Is the backend running on someone’s laptop or PC? The time too book a visit to a club is insane; that is if the app doesn’t crash before it displays results from the backend database. There can’t be professional developers and engineers behind this app. VIDA—the DC is home to world class developers who can design this entire simple app and it’s backend entirely but themselves!
I was excited to try the app out but may never have the opportunity. I have deleted and then reinstalled it twice and both times I will get a fleeting glimpse of what the app might be before it crashes. Looks like it might be a problem with either integration of the health app or with using Face ID. Either way, frustrating.
This app is not intuitive or user friendly. The app doesn’t provide a daily schedule of daily classes outside of classes you have to pay for. It’s confusing to navigate and does not allow the appropriate prompts within each category. Yikes.
Be careful once you’ve made a reservation. There are no fail safes in place if you accidentally cancel a booking or if the app glitches and screws up the booking. And the people that work at Vida have absolutely zero sympathy if this happens and you lose your spot.
I can’t see anything when I open the app. The front desk told me to delete and download it again. Nothing. I don’t have issues with any other app on my phone and I use quite a lot of different apps. Ugh. Love the gym though!
Log in doesn’t work, password reset doesn’t work, technicians have not been responsive. Better service and experience is expected for membership to this premium gym experience.
Terrible, clunky app. There’s nothing intuitive about it and doing the most simple tasks is ridiculously complicated. They should go back to the drawing board with this one.
Awful design, cluttered, clunky, slow. No way to import barcode to Apple wallet like literally every other gym. If Geocities designed an app, this would be it.
