Poche Plantation RV Resort and Sugar Hill RV Site recently set all HD antennas for our 405 RV Park Guest to WBRZ. When they turn on their TV sets to each of our parks commercial HD antenna’s coax TV Input cable. When it sends you a push notification of an update most of the time it links you to an old story no update. Just got update fatal boating accident victim named. When I click on link takes me to a story from yesterday that says there was an accident no further info available. Happens all the time.
The live stream is great when it does work. But doesn’t work all the time. It would be great if it was more reliable. When it’s down it’s usually for a week, until the IT guy comes back from vacation.
Just installed the last update that you guys claim to fix some accessibility bugs it is still impossible to go back once reading a story when using voice over for visually impaired people
Nice app. This is MUCH better than what you offered on your mobile site! Looks like you are finally catching up to WAFB. I would like to be able to customize the tootbar to replace Video with Continuous News.
I would like this app better if: when I go to an article & go back to the main screen it would come back to the place I left off at, instead of having to scroll all the way back through all the stories. I prefer WAFB for this reason. Also, they NEVER update the HEALTH section. VERY BAD GRAMMAR! Whom ever writes these online stories needs "Hooked on Phonics", either that or, they are letting their grade school child write for them...just terrible writing! Ever heard of spellcheck & proof reading?
PLEASE enable multitasking on this app. There's no reason it shouldn't be enabled. It's pretty annoying having to find where you were if you have to exit the app for a few moments. Other than that it's a decent app. Not sure WBRZ even made this app since so many other news apps look EXACTLY like this. Basically just slapped the logo on it. But whatever, nothing wrong with that I guess as long as it works....and has multitasking :-)
Love the fact that i can always stay update with what is going on at a time that is convenient for me. I dont care about a touchdown or fumble with football games, a simple win or loss is sufficient. I don't need a play by play of the sports. That's why you have a sports tab!! I could really care less and that is not NEWS. There are more important things going on in this world! Please change!!
I liked using this app to check for the latest news in BR until the latest update. Now there is an annoying advertising banner that moves at the top of the screen while I am reading an article.
It seems that the people writing the stories are all high (or middle) school dropouts. The lack of punctuation usually make it hard to understand what they are trying to say. Add in the misspelling, and the ability to find the most ignorant witness to interview, and you've got a very funny app. Thank god these people aren't taking this whole journalism thing too seriously.
Seems to work alright. Better than the local alternative. Requires less space than WAFB, less BS, and pops up quick. Don't understand all u bashers. If u know a better one how bout you clue us in. I could do w/o celeb bd's also. Who cares?
It seems that every story has at least a couple typos. Also the stories are very short with not much detail. I always thought this app was ok until I found the wafb app. Huge difference in comparison. Their app gives you so much more information on the same stories...all with no typos.
Since i got my iPhone 7 I noticed im not getting notifications anymore. I have deleted and reinstalled and still doesn't work. Just letting someone know so it can be fixed!
Some days this app is ok other days it is really lacking. Hard to believe that there is no new news in over 12 hours. Last news story was at 7:30pm and it's now the next morning. Half of the stories on the news don't even appear on here.
I'm tired of all the ads. When a video ad shows up before and after the video I want to see I can not get out of the ad unless I close the app completely. This is sad that you must force these ads on us. It's becoming crap.
I want the weather, just the weather, nothing but the weather, and this doesn't fill the order. Furthermore, who buys stuff from a weather app commercial? I would rather pay for an app and have app concentrate on the weather.
Cannot turnoff notifications! I get woke up at 10pm with a " breaking news" football announcement. I go to work early, why can't I turn these off, or why can't you reserve the breaking news for important news?
Enough already! It's like a mandatory 2 splash screens every time you launch this lousy app! Even if you leave it open in the background, you still have to wait about 12 seconds for the screens.
An update seemed to change the notification to some type of annoying church gong sound. Couldn't stand the sound and couldn't change it so I just deleted the app.
Too many ads.. And don't try to turn off video ads after they begin.! This action will lock ur app up until it decides to open back up..sad isn't it ??
Don't bother. They seem to have forgotten what new is. Supporting this app has become an afterthought of the powers that be. Something for disinterested interns to do.

I downloaded this app despite reading the reviews concerning bad grammar. The first sentence of the first article I read sounded like it had been written by a kindergartener. I got a laugh out of it at least. :)
