First and foremost I love the app. But lately there are so many manga that begin with just woke up and I’m a fictional character or ooh I spent the night with my boss what am I gonna do!? Kind of drama in the newest manga.😷 guys i mean, there are some that are in great quality in both story and illustration but seriously it’s becoming overwhelming for some readers such as me.. just want you guys to hear me out. Thanks.

I downloaded both Webtoon and Naver Webtoon and it’s really fun to read! It’s easy for me to read cause cause I can read both English and Korean. The only problem is the the daily pass. There is this comic I really wanna read. But it’s complete and a daily pass comic. And I have some trouble logging in.😕 and last but not least. The cliffhangers are killing me😅 I’m a fast reader so I can read an episode in 1 minute. But it’s fine. I love this app. I and I definitely recommend Naver Webtoon. And there’s another problem. One day I went to naver webtoon but it just logged out automatically on its own. And when I tried to log back in they said my password my incoorect so I checked multiple times, but it still didn’t work. Can you pls respond and make logging in a little bit more easier?

How do I get my cookies from a deal I participated in 70 billion zombie VIP hero i downloaded the app and played for the first time and I didn’t get my cookies. I participated on WEBTOON naver. I also want to know how to get my coins on the English WEBTOON app I participated in the Your smile is a trap unlock one fast past episode for 7 coins and I didn’t get my coins. Please help me I’m trying to get my cookies because I bought the episode that comes out after the one that comes out in two days and I don’t know if I can get a refund on that episode so it might expire before I get to read the one that comes out in two days. The episode is from Your smile is a trap on WEBTOON naver please help meeeee! Don’t ignore me again please:(

I’m not gonna be like those other people and literally ask for the WHOLE APP to be in English (I mean, Line Webtoon EXISTS and you can just learn korean) but I think I’d like for the app to at least have an English interface? I’m currently learning Korean and I think at least having the interface be in English would be a bit helpful? Reading the words 설정 and having the whole settings be in Korean is kinda annoying to me :’) it takes me a while to understand those words and everything oOf I’d appreciate it if you guys at least had an option for the app interface to be in English! I’d love that uwu

I think the main reason that’s everyone wants an English translation is 1) The Korean WEBTOON has more variety and more webtoons to explore and 2) Why would they put next to languages, English and Korean, if there isn’t any English translation of that specific app. At least that’s just what’s getting to me like why would you lie and say there’s any English translation to the app when there’s not I’m also referring to the other Naver reading app Series that’s says they have English translation, but they don’t. If you don’t have English translation, then don’t say that you have it.

I was suggested this app to help improve my reading Hangul and it really does. Sure there are a few long words that I have trouble with but hey that’s what it’s for right? I like to read the words out loud to help with pronunciation as well then listen to a native speaker say it (with the Seoul dialect since that’s what I’m learning) I saw from other reviews that there is an English version but why switch to a language you already know? Challenge yourself by learning to read Hangul and therefore Korean!

I really love the app and I think it’s really cool! I like that it’s only in Korean and there’s no translate button! I mean I would like a translation button because my Korean isn’t that good yet but I like that I can read the original Korean versions of WnToons.I like the challenge that it brings so thank you for your wonderful app and having the Korean versions of popular WebToons!

I love the selections on Webtoon and its laid out really cleanly and nicely. Like, the ratings should be a complete 5 — I mean this app is home to the original Korean webtoon stories, of course there is no English sub; If you don’t read Korean then you go to the English version or learn it, there. Otherwise, the app itself doesn’t have any issues that I had to come across as it functions smoothly!

Almost every review is complaining about how there is no English version. There is literally an English equivalent to the app. Y’all are so entitled why don’t you just learn Korean instead of whining about how there is no English in a KOREAN app. My god.

I love the English app of WEBTOON but I saw that there was more comics on this app. The problem is that I can’t read Korean so I was really excited when they had English language here too. Anyways I got the app It suddenly came up in Korean so I searched up how to turn it in a English version Annnnd I still had no clue how to turn it into a English version. Thinking it was only me I looked in the other reviews and it’s the same thing . Can someone help me ?

I think this app is great. The quality is great and the stories are great. The only thing is I cannot read it. I would be very happy if you can help me change it to English because I personally think that Korean stories are more emotional. So if you would help me change it to English for me then I would be glad. Otherwise everything is amazing about this app! Thx

5 star when split acreen capability. Im korean-american, and need naver dictionary to look up hard korean words. I can open dictionary on-top of the app, but i have to keep closing naver dictionary because it covers over the webtoon. Im trying to read and practice korean, and webtoon is the best way to be exposed to more vocabulary... but opening and closing the screen is driving me crazy,

The app would’ve been great had I been able to unlock the newer episodes to read ahead of whats free. I have cookies earned that I want to spend on reading the locked episodes but no matter how many times i click, nothing opens or happens at all!!! And this is the case with every single comic I try :(( I cant seem to find the solution anywhere

I think everything is fine and dandy but naver really needs to allow purchasing of cookies like every other korean app does through iTunes or directly from the app for people who live abroad.

Love it but I wish they also have an English version ㅠㅠ I heard that they do but I am not sure... my boyfriend recommended me webtoon to improve my Korean reading and sure it does really well.. I just need to understand the meaning haha. Anyway English version please ㅠㅠㅠㅠ

돈좀 바치고 싶은 웹툰이 많은데 왜 이렇게 결제하기 힘들게 구식으로 해놓으셨나요? 차라리 성인인증을 위해 필요하다면 이해하겠는데, 웹툰 소액결제하는데 외국 신분증까지 스캔해서 바쳐야 하나요? 리디북스나 다음웹툰앱 결제방법좀 참고해주세요. So happy to have access to Korean language webtoon app. But current in-app purchase requirements are absurd. Naver requires all users to submit valid government ID to keep in their data base. Why on earth would you ask to email you my ID to give you my money?

I love WEBTOON so much that I read almost every webtoon when I found out about this webtoon I was so happy. when I clicked it there was so much new webtoons I have not seen but sadly I could not read it i was so sad.

I would have love this app and given it a full five start rating but unfortunately there no English translation. Please help with this issue.

guys this is KOREAN webtoon for a reason. there’s is not going to be special english translating for you! what do you thing webtoon is for? it literally translate korean stories to english. jesus christ learn korean or delete the app.

it’s a amazing app i really love it , however I’m struggling to figure out how to turn on English . is there a way to do this? or will I have to learn Korean ? Hahaha

This is a great app. I found out that there was a korean version from Instagram from Atisutori (Go read A Budgie's Life). I am korean american and i am quite good at saying korean but not really good at raeding korean... 아야 ALSO THERE IS A FREAKING ENGLISH APP PEOPLE!!! SO DONT GIVE THE OG A ONE STAR JUST BECAUSE YOUR A DOOFUS!!! STOP IT, GET SOME HELP!

I’ve been trying to register a NAVER account with my Apple ID, and I keep getting “5~10 characters...” error despite meeting all requirements. I don’t know if it’s just a tactic to prevent users located in the US from registering—either way please fix this. 빨리 고쳐주세요~~

If you’re complaining about the webtoons not being in English, learn Korean yourself or go to Line webtoon because they have English translations to most webtoons from Naver.

The only problem I have with this, is that it says that there is Korean AND English. I cannot find translation anywhere on the app. 내가 가진 유일한 문제는 한국어와 영어가 있다는 것이다. 나는 앱에서 어디에서도 번역을 찾을 수 없다.

I can’t find an English version. There is one but it doesn’t have a lot of WEBTOON that this one has. Also it says in the description that English language is available but I can not set it.

So I would rate this a five star but I could not read any of the story’s because it is not in English but I would really appreciate if you could switch it from Korean to English or add a button to set the language to Korean or English

It does have an English version. I read the English version almost EVERY day.

There used to be an iPad version of this before but not anymore... when I have my iPad on screen lock it works funny. No plan to launch the ipad version again?

Ok am I the only one that saw them put English and Korean? well that a lie 🙄😗because when u go on there it’s just speaking Korean it doesn’t have an English translation so how are we English people suppose to understand ?😭🤨

Where is the option to change it too English? It would be nice to be able to read Webtoon son my iPad considering the old iPad app is no longer operational.

The content takes forever to load and would not load properly. I basically can't use the app. 미국에서 웹툰을 앱으로 보려고 해도 로딩에 랙이 걸려 볼수가 없네요.

This is a great app for Korean Americans like me who still want access to high quality manhwa overseas, and for people who are just starting to learn Korean. The art is very good to attract attention but they can’t display anything more than a regimented set of comics because of copyright policies. These comics are also written in a form of standardized international Korean meant to be more accessible to translators so it will sound pretty stiff but the stories are still very good and much better than the English speaking webtoon, which features comics like Bluechair that are one-page memes, or have poorly written dialogue and translations like Cheese in the Trap. The sad thing is these comics are so long and well written, however, the translations on the English platform are terrible representations of the writers’ ability to write within these constraints and present quality content for Koreans to enjoy overseas. They literally cut out panels because they can’t figure out the translation or a way this will work with the completely altered version of the story they are republishing even though writers are simplifying their writing for them on purpose. Naver has a terrible translation company, sure, but they know how to market overseas. So I’m impressed, and entertained, and will definitely be sticking with this version and a few of the better comics I found on WEBTOON: Comics (the English speaking app). Pay attention to the fact that comics have under 1million subscribers each and this is because it is for the Korean literate population in the United States. Numbers on the real Korean app are much higher and that app itself is far more sophisticated. While I wish they could make that app available here too I understand why they had to make those modifications. Thankfully we can still enjoy some quality content, which is a plus!

Ever since the new update, none of the webtoon episodes load. It is not due to weak connection since everything else (cover pic, title pic,etc ) is loading fine.
