WIC Connect

Since the integration with MiLogin I can’t access anything...no appointment reminders, check my balance, nothing. I hoped it was a bug and would be corrected in an update but now I see it was purposeful. At least I’ll have more available storage after deleting the app. There’s a silver lining! Update: I tried again. The app is somehow worse. The “integration” is the app connecting to a desktop browser inside of an app, which means you can’t see the entire screen and you still have to login twice to get your balance - if it’s even working that day. Seriously nothing was wrong with the old app, but Michigan’s data solutions are all horrendous, so I’m not shocked this still isn’t user friendly.

I downloaded this app yesterday since I was just approved for WIC and was under the impression it would be super helpful but honestly I used it for the first time today and it was very annoying. I like that I can see my balances and keep track but I still had to bring the shopping booklet with me because not everything is listed and what is listed isn’t clear at all. Then since it was my first time shopping with WIC, I used the scanner to be safe before checking out and all my fresh produce AND apple juice (which the exact brand, oz, and flavor were listed and photographed in the booklet) all scanned as “non WIC eligible.” I checked it anyway and everything was approved. Very confusing and didn’t seem helpful aside from showing my remaining balances. Needs a lot of work.

Scanner N E V E R WORKS! It’s already difficult as is due to the fact the little barcode section they give hardly ever matches up with the items in store. Going off the food guide is useless because you can get the EXACT ITEM pictured within your benefits and wic still won’t work. I’ve had this app for over a year now and the scanner never works. It has a 1 star for a reason. Other states have amazzzzzing apps that actually work but yet whoever Michigan is partnered with for this app clearly doesn’t pay attention to the reviews and actually put the work in to fix their app to be useful.

This app hasn’t been operable for months. I would think the State of Michigan would be able to find someone who can get it back up and running. This app was very useful for its scan feature, as WIC product descriptions can sometimes be misleading. For now, users should use the Fresh EBT app, but I hope they eventually repair this app and update the GUI. It just looks bad on the State to have this useless, ugly app sitting in the App Store.

I became a foster parent almost 3 years ago to 4 children. I had never received WIC before and so I was carrying my booklet every time I went to the store. One of the workers at my appointment told me about this app and it has been a blessing for me. I have never had a problem using this and it’s very easy for me to check my unused food balances. I am not a tech person and still figured out how to use this app. Give it a chance, don’t be impatient and it will work for you.

I have no idea what happened, but I used to be able to access my account through WIC connect and now when I put my login information in, it literally does not move from the “Authenticate” page where it’s literally a blank white screen besides the top where it says “Authenticate”… it’s such a HUGE I convenience. It’s been like this for months now! I am able to go to the WIC website no problem using Safari, it’s just a hassle when I should be able to use the app instead, hence as to why it was invented to begin with! I’m extremely frustrated and disappointed!

I’ve never been more frustrated at an app than I have the WIC app. It’s simply will not load. It’s constantly stuck on the “authenticate” blank page. I try to login to my account via the WIC portal website and it comes up as an error. Why is this not a priority? Does no one care that hundreds of women in the state can’t access their WIC balance, check for appointments, and use the app at all? Does anyone even read these app reviews? This is a desperate cry for help to fix something that so many people rely on. We are important and this issue needs to be fixed.

I’ve never written a review about anything..I like this app, it’s very convenient but I haven’t been able to view my benefits for about 2 months now and it’s frustrating..I’ve even called my WIC office and they don’t even know what’s going on. One lady told me that’s she was having the same issue. I have no other way to view my benefits so when is this going to be fixed. Like I said it’s been 2 months since I was last able to view my benefits..

for the past 2 months the app will not even let me log in to review my benefits. It takes me to the authenticating page and the little wheel spins in the corner and that’s it. It doesn’t go any further then that. Had this problem last year with the app so I deleted it and redownloaded it then it worked fine. I have done that multiple times now and the issue is still in effect. This app also freezes and tells me things aren’t on the wic list that are in fact on the wic list. Terrible app that definitely needs a lot of work.

Have gone through all the steps to get to my account and can access online, but cannot through this useless app. I’ve spoken with a login specialist with Milogin and it is nothing on their end. Have gone through the troubleshooting and “help” sections and it still says “invalid login.” I’ve submitted requests for help twice and never had a response. I’ve tried everything possible to find an actual number to call and can only reach a voicemail to one person who had not called back. Don’t bother downloading

Having the same issue as some of the others on here but I keep uninstalling and reinstalling this app and it keeps going to a blank Authenticator page when I log into the app, it worked for like a week and then went straight back to this, I loved checking my balance and knowing when my benefits were going to expire and renew. It’s now just sitting on my phone looking pink and useless please fix this app. I don’t like bothering the WIC office.

It’s been since February or March since this happ stopped working for me. Just like every one else said it just gets stuck on the authenticating page. I have sent emails to the state and got the run around with the first email. When I emails back all they said was that they were working on it and they were going to send a mass text to every one. It’s been over 1 month and nothing. This is a very useful app and I would like to see it running like it did.

Never let’s you actually login; just sits on the authentication page with a never ending loading message. I even left it open on that page for 3 hours to see if it would eventually work, never happened. Uninstalled and redownloaded the app, didn’t change anything. This app used to work beautifully but with every new version update it just continues to decline in user friendliness and it’s ability to do what it was created to do.

Now I remember why I never used it with my first child! Tried downloading the app again and giving it another shot with my second child, but every time I try logging in, it says “invalid credentials”. Soooo frustrating after I’ve reset my password multiple times, deleted the app, and tried logging in on my fiancés phone. Nothing is working to get into this app. Waste of my time.

The app works great when it works. I haven’t been able to access it for almost two weeks. I’ve done an update, deleted and reinstalled but when I sign in it just goes to a blank authenticate page and that’s it. You’ve got to do better with this app so that it can be utilized properly. Please fix this ASAP

I used to LOVE this app. It’s much easier than calling the card or carrying around a paper that’s easily lost. However, I got a message that the login issue was fixed but mine still does not work. I login in and the page turns white and that’s all it does. It’s been like this for months!! I can’t wait for it to be fixed so I can start utilizing the app!

It worked so well for the first few months I had it and then...it didn't. They made all these "updates" but the updates locked you out and then you had to log into the website. Now it just won't let me in at all. It's stuck at the "authenticate" screen. A great idea but poorly executed.

I’ve tried several times to login and just can’t get passed the Mi login All I get is an error pop up that reads invalid account and I am unable to even see any of my benefits I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app twice and the same thing happens It’ll be easier requesting current balance at store before shopping

DOESN’T work!!!!!! I can’t check my balance or scan my items to make sure they’re WIC approved! It’s a waste of space! I’ve already deleted and downloaded the app again for the most recent version and it still doesn’t work! It reroutes you to a web browser and completely waste your time.! The app was a good idea but it doesn’t work!! I wish I could give this Zero stars

Now I can easily find the eligible products just by scanning. It tells the eligibility along with available amounts of balance. I can make and track appointments. I just love it.

I just received my card and went to login to the app for the first time and after successfully logging in, it asks for DOB, Family ID, etc. it will not let me type anything into the columns. So I can’t go anywhere from here even though I have all the appropriate information. The app won’t let me type anything.

This app is horrible. I was so excited when I downloaded it but when I got to the store I found the app to be more of a frustration and hinderance than a help. None of the UPCs matched what was on the actual products. The barcode scanner did not work. Nothing is listed in any kind of order. This app is confusing and I deleted it after my first shopping trip with WIC. Please fix or update.

I’ve tried logging in to this app multiple times over the past year and it doesn’t work. I gave up in using and started using my browser to check my balance instead. It gets stuck on the authenticate page and won’t go any further.

I’ve tried several times to log in, deleted the app and reinstalled it, and still can’t log in. I can log in to Michigan bridges just fine, so I know the password works. Now it just goes to a white screen when I try to log in to the WIC app.

I know they are just doing the best they can, and I absolutely love working with my local WIC office, but this app needs work. I can almost never login. When I am able to, though, it isn’t a bad setup. Not terribly user friendly, but not awful.

No one can log in. It’s been requested. Whoever created this app doesn’t manage it or fix it. You can’t get past the authentication page and this helped lots of women with appointments, knowing their benefits and it helped us shop. Super frustrating that it’s been a couple years and still doesn’t work.

Love the setup of the app, but am unable to use the UPC. Every time I click on it to scan my receipt to update my account, it just shows a black screen. I’ve deleted and reloaded the app, turned my phone on and off and still have issues with it. Very frustrating.

It will let me log in to the green screen, but after that the authenticate screen turns white and I can’t do anything. I’ve never used wic before and this app is supposed to help me a lot and if I can’t use it I fear I’ll end up keep spending money That’s I DONT have at the store when it could’ve been avoided. PLEASE FIX

The app is nice when it works but I haven’t been able to access my information. It just stays loading on a blank white screen

How do you expect anybody to use the app if it won’t even log you in fully to see your benefits, I’ve deleted and re downloaded the app and still nothing. I login and it goes to a white screen and stays there. I have twins and need to be able to see my benefits and as of now I can not.

It won’t let me log in. Every time I try it says I’m already logged in on another session. I click the option to end the other session and continue with current session and then it says my session time has expired. I would like to check what I have left before the end of the month but can’t!

It has poor user interface and I haven’t even been able to access it in weeks. When I try to log on, there’s just a blank loading screen. I’ve updated, reinstalled, and tried other devices. Not impressed.

I went shopping for my first time using my Wic card so I was curious as to what is approved and what isn’t. I tried scanning items with using the app multiple times and it would never scan the barcodes, even in good lighting. I was pretty bummed.

I have tried to log in many times, deleted app and resigned in. I have called the help desk and nobody can help me. I really am disappointed, this app would of made my life so much more easier, while using my wic. There need to be more help available. I am so frustrated with this app…

I loved this app and all of a sudden I wasn’t able to login! I have changed my password multiple times it won’t go past the authentication screen. I have called multiple numbers and messaged multiple times and no one seems to get back to me!

I’m able to log into the app, user name and password works. When it goes to the next screen all I get is a blank white screen, doesn’t show anything. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled with no luck. This is such a useful tool, please fix!!!

I’ve tried time & time again to log in to this app, I’ve never used WIC before so I was looking forward to having everything I need to successfully shop on my phone but I keep getting a frozen white authentication page. So frustrating.

aside from all the WIC benefits, the app itself is TERRIBLE. It’s very outdated, seems like it was made pre-2000s (aka very bad design). Very glitchy and hard to login. For something that’s important to low income people and families, I would at least expect for the app to be decent and easy navigatable.

Every time I go to login, it goes to an authentication page and freezes. The SOM needs to update their computer system drastically. So perhaps to fully utilize the overly-qualified IT ppl’s knowledge & talent instead of letting them sit there to waste away while they try to do the best they can with an antiquated system...and get blamed for it.

Even with the multiple bug fixes, I still am unable to login into my account. I’ve tried restarting my phone, deleting the app, changing my password, nothing works. It just sits on the white loading screen.

Haven’t been able to access anything for months!!! I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and it does no good! As soon as I try to log in to view my benefits, it won’t go past the screen where it’s trying to log in!!! 🙄🤬🙅🏽‍♀️

App worked fine before integration. Tried and tried again and again. Can login on the other site not this one. Deleting app again. Would have easily given other app 4 stars.

I have tried to access this app for months and it is impossible to log in. If I do submit all of my correct login information, I am just taken to a blank screen. I have had WIC in other states and their apps were so much better.

I’ve had this app on my phone for years now, and have NEVER been able to log in. I keep getting update notifications, but after update it still never works! What are you fixing??

To use wic I have to log in and give all my card number info every time I open the app. Why not let us stay logged in? Very frustrating. Will make it very difficult to use at the grocery store.

I use to love this app but 2 months ago it completely stopped working. I’ve reinstalled the app several times and nothing. I get kicked out of the app as soon as I click on it. Sad because it was awesome and very helpful!

The worse app, there was suppose to be updated since January it been updated and never worked after I put my login info and it login but the page remains white nothing you can see

I just downloaded this app per my WIC workers suggestion and it doesn’t even work. When i login with my MILogin info it just goes to a blank authenticate page and stays there. I can’t see anything or do anything. I’ll probably delete it and continue to use my FreshEBT app.

The app was working great up until recently. The last two times I have tried logging in to check my balances I get an error message stating the app cannot connect to the server.
