It's quite amazing how nice this app looks for a small town news station. I will definitely be getting my news from you since you made such a good effort on your iPhone app.
And by "headache", I mean the migraine that I get from listening to the worst news group in the history of morning shows! Nasally dumb female that stumbles on her words (how did she pass a voice test?). And the most annoying, goofy and dorky looking weather guy with no speech abilities... He mispronounces 1 out of every 5 words! This morning news team is like the "Home for Broken Toys!" This app keeps me from having to look at or listen to these imbeciles... So.., 3 star app. Worth it.
If could I would rate this app a negative star, this app never updates, the news feeds don't always work, the weather side of this app don't even work, I prefer wandwx app for the weather. You would think the the capital city of Illinois would have better app one that is worth the wild to have for news and weather. But what can u do? I know don't use this app lol.
Every single time I try to look at anything on this app, I get a pop up about winning a free phone. Such a lovely gesture... I’ll use the new phone to look at ANY news app besides this one.
*****CODE RED ALERT***** Access to local news ceases to exist bc latest app crashes before newsfeed loads. Guess I shouldn’t expect a useful app from a company willing to terminate their best employees.
Delete the news and their weather apps. Email and call all advertisers to advise them to pull any ad $$$. Show them the viewers are behind Joe Crain and his objective criticism of their asinine CODE RED weather alerts. Tell the advertisers to move to WAND and WCIA as that is were the viewers are going in protest.
I like the idea of having a local news app available, but It is very plain and the UI needs to reflect ios7. When the scrolling menu appears at the bottom just above the picture buttons, you can only see the top of the options. Again, maybe look into revamping the UI and maybe I will download and try again.
