Very happy to have found this app available. Now I won’t be accumulating paper, but can still enjoy my favorite weekly magazine! Thanks for making this available. Woman’s World is now with me & at my fingertips at all times in my phone!
The previous version of this app worked so much better. Since the update, I no longer get the new issues each week like before. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the app several times, which brought up a few issues, but not all the issues that should have already dropped. The Restore Purchases option doesn’t work at all. I’ve reached out to the developer (Vikas) directly three times. Each time he tells me he has no control over the content that appears in the app and I need to contact the publisher. This makes no sense. Since my subscription is active and current, the publisher has no reason to give me access to some issues but not others. In addition, everything I’ve described above is happening within the app itself. How can the publisher help me with issues that are clearly app-related? In the email he sent me last night, Vikas told me to let him know if I have any other questions. Again, this makes no sense; Vikas has made it clear that I won’t get any help from him. If you still want to download this app, go for it. Just know that if anything goes wrong, the developer won’t help you if the basic troubleshooting doesn’t work.
I’ve used this app for over 7 years, was great until this year. Sometimes several issues come at once, some never come. Customer service never responds. Very frustrating. I’m giving it 2 stars because I do like the magazine.
6 month subscription paid for and yet it doesn’t let you view magazines as locked and asking for $2.99. I have deleted app and reinstalled and still same problem! I have contacted for support and is my 3rd attempt without response. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED!
I had years of magazines on here, so my husband wouldn’t throw them out. With this layout you can’t find your magazines. All of mine have disappeared anyway That is really a lot of wasted money. I like to keep them to reread and look up recipes ect
The old version of the app worked great this new version I don’t get my issues like I used to every week had the subcription for years finally had to cancel way to frustrating.
I just renewed from paper copy to online and since I'm new to iPhone and Apps, I had a little trouble in the transition. I kept trying to log in and kept being told that my email didn't exist. I don't know what I did but I eventually saw the "download" link and was fine after that. I love the magazine and really appreciate having them with me at all times and less clutter around the house.
Love this app. I couldn't seem to keep up with the magazines at home, but with this app I can return to my favorite issues and articles again and again. The only complaint I have is trouble signing into the app. I'm using the correct email and password, but I get an error message when trying to sign in.
I have read Woman's World for 6 or 7 years now, picking it up in the grocery store most every week. But with this app I won't miss an issue, can go back and find information I need in magazine archives and find great info on beauty, diet and overall health with each issue. So happy to have it delivered to my lap!
Every time I try to download a new edition I have to "restore purchases", then it takes too long to download. The new editions are not always available as quickly as the print editions. It is not user friendly if you want to come back and re-read something later. You cannot copy and print recipes, crossword puzzles, sudoku or anything else. This is a big disappointment and needs a lot of improvement before I would recommend it.
I love that it is a e-mag. I am not in the store once a week, so I didn't always get a chance to buy a copy. I would have given it five stars, but it take a while for it to focus, and it is hard to down load.
I subscribed for one year. I always had trouble downloading and often it only partially downloaded. I wrote to Customer Service, no reply. Very frustrating.
I used to receive these issues in print form and was delighted when they became available from the App Store. However, I have had nothing but trouble since I tried to download my first issue which took anywhere from 20-25 minutes (if you didn't get an error message while it was downloading). I Am on a WiFi network and never have any problems when I download other information.You also are supposed to be able to remove issues (according to their settings and FAQ's)but when you try to do this, the option is not highlighted and you are unable to do so. I have sent emails to the publishing company and no one has had the decency to reply to my problems. I'm going back to the print edition as soon as my subscription expires.
