We really like listening/watching WWAY. Your announcers and newscasters are the best in this Wilmington/Leland area. However, why are you doing the mini skits with all of your employees. Stick to your “day job” —your acting is not good on the behind the scenes skits. We actually feel you are lowering your high broadcasting standards with these—what looks like—juvenile skits. Hope you change that out soon. Magnolia neighbor.... Sandra Gemach
But seriously, it is. Most every story on the front page ranges from happening last week to 4 years ago. This app has made me look so stupid on several occasions bringing up what I thought were current events in conversation only to find out Michael Jackson actually died almost 9 years ago. I feel like a total noodle head. I've lost all credibility with my peers who now make fun of me constantly about living under a rock. Things are getting bleak. Please send help. Please be a better app for local news.
I never authorized your app to listen to me or use the mic or anything and ads are popping up for conversations I’m having. Get rid of the advertising mode of add supported apps. You’re a news company. Build a decent app without ads. It may be free but having your privacy stolen to show you an ad isn’t worth keeping the app. You just lost a customer.
For a local news station you folks are awesome. I also love how you support the local community and I absolutely love attending the Health Hacks. Happy Holidays to all... Mike Perretta
This is a great way to keep up with what's going on in our area. TV 3 news keeps me informed with a text or I just go to there web site for weather, traffic, local and national news. Great app to have.
This is tha local Wilmington NC station that has be instrumental in helping people know what is really happening. I trust WWAY because they don’t try to sensationalize
App is ok but retains old stories on the main page. For example, uner the weather section it shows "bad storms moving our way". This article has been on the main page since Oct 18... Today is 10/25. The news and sports stories do the thing. This alone makes me not use this app. I've read the same stories over and over.
Content largely lacking in relevance to Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach in addition to being often out of date. Photos accompanying articles are blurry and frankly irritating. As compared to the app offered by WECT news, this is a poor excuse. And why is the "surprise squad" so relevant that is ranks on the top of the list of current news. Perhaps your parent ABC has a template you can use to improve this poor excuse for a news site.
I seem to find more negative stories than positive, especially the stories regarding our local area. Facts are not verified on the majority of stories I find interest in, they choose to not report the opposite side of the same stories and they seem to only report what is told by disgruntled individuals versus trying to uncovering the truth....lazy media in my eyes.
