WWMT News 3

I wanted to look up an old story, maybe 2 weeks old. It's not easy at all to search for a story. I did find a way to search, but I have no clue how I did it, or how to get back to it. Should be a more obvious way to "search".

This cannot properly be called an app. All you get is the station logo on a blank screen. Are we supposed to wait 5 minutes or longer for something to show up? But still nothing shows up other than the logo? Something is radically wrong with this so-called “app”.

This last release is a pain. You get no news unless you select "All News." Settings are not saved, so every time you open the app you have to start over. Also, on the iPad, since the redesign, it will not orient itself to landscape. The person in charge of the push notifications is driving everybody crazy. Notifications are being sent out for every little thing. The news is coming on at five, the news is coming on at six, the news is coming on at 11. We're going to talk about this and we're going to talk about that! I'm going to have to delete the app if I can't get these things turned off!!!

App has come a long way, but it would be nice to have an option to customize notifications. I want breaking local news alerts, but high school football scores flashing on my screen every 5 minutes on a Friday night gets annoying.

This doesn’t work in landscape and will not flip in portrait, allowing only one aspect. There are often headlines but no body following it and no obvious way to locate the actual story. On the plus side, the annoying advertisements that appear in the middle of the story (when the story is actually shown) are fairly short and appropriately are removed when finished.

This app is a link to my community. Only, it doesn't want to work! It will run for a brief second. And suddenly it quits. I can not follow the local news. And feel connected to our community if I constantly have problems with this app. I might be better off without this. That's to bad too. I'd like to be able to keep up on currant schedules. Good luck with that. I'd really like to cuss like a storm. Keep reloading the page. Gets very frustrating. We pay a lot for these devices not to work. That ain't right...

Update June 2017: DOES NOT WORK AT ALL ON IPAD! The App refuses to open! They promote it all the time on air, but it's not worth the time to install or memory to keep! ------------------------------------------ This release works well on the iPhone. The iPad is another matter. Very slow to load and will not orient to landscape format. Irritating! Just updated to ver. 6.7.0. On the iPad it still won't orient to landscape. The word wrap is terrible. Each line is run off the page regardless of the text size. About ready to delete it and forget it! Updated to 6.8.0. Still no landscape support for the iPad! Word wrap has improved, but the whole thing is irritating. They push this app over the air, but they won't take the time to fix it! Reducing rating to 2 stars due to lack of functionality!

in the last two weeks every time I tried to enter the app, it would just send me to the App Store with different apps to buy. I could never even read a story. So I figured that the app must have been hacked. I sent a message to news three which they have never responded. So I figured it must be my phone but I know that's not true because I got a new phone yesterday and downloaded the app and I have the exact same problem. So unfortunately I have deleted the app

It keeps me up to date on important news items. I also enjoy seeing the pictures that people are sending in. I really like the stories about animals.

I would like to know why the app causes my iphone to run hot? what is the app doing in the background that would cause iphones to run hot and damage the battery? this is my second iphone this app has literally destroyed the battery due to causing the phone to run so hot you can’t hold on to the phone after a while. again what is this app doing in the background???

I like news 3 for their coverage of local news in kazoo and Battle Creek but, this app needs to be fixed. Every so often I click on the news section and I'm brought to the I-team investigations page instead. I also wish that the app would update breaking news sooner.

Just downloaded this upgraded app. It's now formatted for ipad which is much appreciated. The layout is easy to use and so far no problems. The reason for 3 stars versus 5 was videos. I'm not able to view any. Not sure why?

It is improving, but still not worth it even free. They do not update enough and not at all on weekends or holidays. When you open the "WATCH LIVE" it tells you you have to do this during a regular scheduled newscast, even while you are currently watching a news cast. I wonder if they will ever get their act together. There are much better local station apps.

Lots of potential unfortunately whom Ever is in charge of posting content Is either super busy or a slacker very Updates throughout the day and I Guess everyone goes home at 5 on Friday and doesn't return till sometime Mid morning on Mondays same stuff all Weekend gets old after awhile it makes Me not even want to open the app.

I live in St. Jo County and yesterday afternoon there was a stand off with the Police and even the Swat Team in Three Rivers. And there was an accident on Covered Bridge Road and not one word about either on the 5-6:30pm news. Not every story has to be about the virus. There was 1 accident on (I believe) center street reported. Thank God the mail carrier story mad the cut. Disappointed!!!!!

I have had to turn off the push notifications everyday for the past week. They keep turning back on. I do know how to do this and verified they were off each time. After 7 attempts to turn them off I have now deleted the app. Too bad for WWMT.

This app has always had issues. It has only gotten worse. The news stories do not seem to update as quickly. Too much going on. The closings and delays section is a jumbled up mess that has error message when trying to open.

Very frustrating app, freezes too often. Deleted and reinstalled several times. Not doing that again. Side note doesn't seem to want to accept a bad review, had to type this out several times also due nickname already used

Well I just got the app and it ask me some stuff I went to wether and look at radar an it charsh but I got back on I was fine.

No crashes or constant NEW banner. Hopefully they keep the content updated.

Not opening again since iOS was updated a couple days ago. Was fine before, but now the app rarely opens anymore. Please fix!

Since I downloaded the latest update, it consistently turns itself off after opening the app. Please fix it! I use this app to follow Michigan news. We live in southwest Michigan and wwmt is one of our few choices for news.

Doesn’t really report on local news, especially if they prefer to get bribes or special treatment from powerful companies taking advantage of employees. Journalism, don’t make waves, just stay safely behind your desk doing feel good pieces.

Videos won't display after most recent update. Until that, I liked this app.

The articles are poorly written. Try to watch a video and it locks up. The audio quality in the videos is also poor. I'll be deleting this app from my phone.

Some stories you click on, it sends you to the App Store over and over and have to exit app. Very annoying!

I can't believe how one sided your news reporting has become. I've grown sick and tired of it and am removing this app and hope everyone else who feels this way do the same! It would also be nice if Tom Van Howe's column wasn't totally one-sided!

Just installed this app and I'm impressed! Many selections including watching live newscasts!

This app is hard to use. Not user friendly. Disappointing from my local news station. I was hoping to use it while I was on vacation but it was toooooo frustrating to use.

When I open an article it won’t let me click the back button at the top left. iPhone 14 pro max lasted updates are installed.

Awful app, gives alerts of news and then I can never find the article. Now it's loading ad apps like it has a virus instead of seeing the articles.

Over and above the clunky flow of the app, it is packed with advertisements that overwhelm the experience with banner ads that keep coming up. This is there worse release yet.

I used to read news every day on wwmt app. Will not open after last update. Hopefully will be fixed soon

I updated this app, and it no longer works. Very frustrating when you want local news.

I have loaded and reloaded this latest version and it just won't load. They need get it fixed as it looks like a good app. I liked the old version and that one worked.

The upgrade is awful. Won't work, less weather info and the news is stuck on feb 7, 2013. I uninstalled and reinstalled three times, same result junk!

Worked well when I got it months ago. However; in the past month it is useless. Deleted it.

Another weak attempt at an app. Wouldn't you have an iPhone and iPad next to you when you are developing these things. Wasting my time.

Enjoy the local content but the App could be upgraded.

I don't know what 12 year old writes these stories for channel 3. There are misspelled words and some Ebonics involved. You need to tighten up! I can't make heads or tails of stories sometimes...

Things done run smell at all the closure apps for school closings will not allow you to login and sign up and app keeps freezing When watching video

Closes out. Very rarely get new stories or updates. I keep giving it chances, but I'm done. Finding something better

Extremely glitches. Articles will not load!

App doesn't start. If it does the stories are at best incomplete. Can't zoom in on pictures or rotate. Waited awhile for a update but apparently they don't care. Deleted
