WYMT News

I use the app multiple times a day to keep up with weather, news, etc Since the last update, I cannot open the app. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the app twice. When I try to open the app, I get a message wanting me to turn on my location in settings. I do not leave my location on, therefore this app is useless.

I have used WYMT NEWS app on my phone for my years to keep up with the news and now the page will not open up for some reason I have in stalled and deleted the app several times and still didn’t load back up. Thank you

Really needed this on my phone! Have been using for years! It’s awful that I live within three miles of the news station and can’t use the app anymore! Doesn’t work, will not open! Uninstalled, reinstalled, still nothing! WYMT , can’t keep up with you guys now, please fix the problem!

This app updated now it won’t open up. I have done everything I can to get it to, still will not open. I’m not the only one other family members can’t open it . Please get it fixed. Thanks

I’m on this app several times a day. It’s the way I like to keep up with the local and national news. Small bites instead of getting choked by the bad news all at once.

Love the app! But latest update makes it crash before loading.

The app won’t open, why? Fix this issue and you will have more satisfied users and more people using your app. I’ve had it on my phone since I bought an iPhone (many years ago). I’m so frustrated that I’ve deleted the app all together. Fix the issue and I’ll be back!!!!

I just put my review on the Radar app! Sorry about that. I really love the WYMT-TV News and Weather app. We don't have cable, but I can still receive local news and weather updates via the app. Love it!

I have had the WYMT News app for years and it’s had its ups and downs in the past, but its been pretty stable for the past year. Since the latest update on Friday, September 9th the app will not open, It will not even stay on the cover page for more than 5 seconds until it shuts down. So much for QC…

After the latest update the app will not launch. Wonderful beforehand though

I’ve had this app for a long time now a few years in fact. But this new update or whatever has happened it won’t even open. I have deleted it and downloaded it again but it doesn’t help. Please fix this issue. Thanks

I had this app on my phone and now I can’t get it to open. It showed to download but when I try to open it the app will not open. I downloaded it again and it is doing the same thing. I really would like to have this app because I live in Harlan county and I like knowing what is going on in eastern Kentucky

Great app, would have given 5 stars if had the option to remove the adds. Will change rating once applied.

App will not open after last update, restarted phone and it still won’t open on iPhone 8. App still works on iPhone XR.

I used this app daily for news and announcements but it won’t even open now unless I have location services enabled. Sorry-I’m not gonna keep my location services on to get news. I’ll get it somewhere else 😑

In the last week my app will not open I have deleted it and reinstalled it several times.

Every time I try to open the app it shuts down and it returns back to Home Screen .. I’ve never had issues before so it must be something in the app!

For shame. Comment section which took you off the app for a long while now anyways, has now been replaced with ads. Good luck you poor brainwashed morons who are stuck to the only news app of the area.

If you have an iPhone you can't use this app unless you turn your location on. I don't use my location so this app is useless. I will find another news app

The new build will not open on my iPhone. I deleted and reloaded in twice and it still does not open! I used your App regularly and I see online I’m not the only one experiencing this problem.

Deleted, reinstalled and restarted my iPhone. App just tries to open then closes on its own. Very disappointed.

Have not been able to read the news because it won't let me past adds. It was working great so what's going on with it?

No current news in this app. And since their tv broadcast is off as much as it is on, neither service is adequate.

For some reason Harlan Co school closings are missing as an option. The only thing seen with Harlan Co is the Christian school and independent.

When I got the update my app will not open.

Terrible lying and tricky ads. Overloaded with ads. Hard to differentiate ads portraying fake news in your local area. Never reports any real news in local area. Never see any reporting on 1/2 the local murders heard about. Very biased.

This App use to work ok. But it doesn’t work at all now Big Zero rating here
