In my opinion. An app needs to be redesigned. Interface looks like 5 years ago apps. And please add option to check in by pass in the app. Not only by pass on my keys it's very uncomfortable to bring keys all the time with you. Thank you
A quality gym with lots of great services, staff and pricing but also some relevant problems with cleaning & repairs. What it has going for it: Inexpensive membership, lots of locations & easy 24-7 access. Variety of equipment, Classes and variable workout spaces. What it needs to improve: Cleanliness, towel service and pool operations. During peak times the place gets dirty. Needs some Frequent, Deep cleaning more often. Towels run out a lot suggesting clubs need more towels. If theft is an issue then Xsport should require membership cards be exchanged for towels, just like resorts do. Non- operating Hot tub, endless pool and occasionally swim pool is broken. Yes, operating a pool & other water items requires knowledge, resources & trainer staff and Xsport should improve in all these areas. By comparison Some IL Xsport locations are large, well stocked, well lighted and ventilated (Niles, Arlington Hts, etc) while others are not (Libertyville, Chgo). The annoying disparity between facilities is disappointing and annoying. Mounting disappointment with my home location(Lbtyvl) is why I decided to terminate.
I joined XSport back in May. I had some difficulty coordinating with my first trainer our schedules were so out of sync. Val had Nikki take over my training sessions. I explained to Nikki I was trying to get in better shape for my daughters August 4th wedding and we went to work. When I began this recent weight loss journey I weighed in at 218. As of this morning I’m down to 195. Thank you Nikki for pushing beyond what I though I could do
It is 2019 and basically every other gym at similar costs allows you to have your fab or barcode within the app itself. Everyone has a smartphone nowadays, and everyone always has it on them. There is no reason such a large gym like XSport cannot include this feature within their app. It is either pure laziness or they just don’t care, but the infrastructure is all here, JUST ADD THIS FEATURE so that people can choose whether to keep the plastic on their keys or use the app. Your employees tell people to use 3rd party free apps to add their fab to an app vs your own app. It’s nothing groundbreaking or new, please add this feature.
I had an account with Xsport and loved everything about it. A lot of great features. I stopped going to the gym during COVID because they closed early and I work late. Now the hun is back open and I'm able to go any time of day but when I tried to reactive my account it won't let me in. I've requested several times on the app to get my log in permission but 4 months later I'm still not able to log in so I can't give it a good review since I can't use it. But honestly it's a great app to work if you can get in it
So a lot of reviews were saying that the login was never valid. I checked with the reps at the gym and you have to activate the account when they send you an email! The person that enrolled my membership sent me the email after she asked me to download the app :)
1. The app freezes frequently on iOS 11.3.1. Had to force quit it a few times just to restart it. 2. Had to leave my gym’s group chat because each time one of the member’s sends the admin a message, it sent me a Notification and an email. I didn’t recently join my gym’s group chat; it auto adds you to it upon signing up for the app. 3. It’d be nice if the app could replace the key tag for checking into the gym but it doesn’t. Or at least there’s no intuitive way of finding your key tag on the app.
Doesn’t recognize your account and locks you out after a few attempts to login! It doesn’t let you unlock your account either! I can login just fine through the desktop. Lately though the desktop has been down as well, it won’t let you update your account information. I’m assuming it’s due to covid but I just received an email to update my account and non of the links work?! Please fix and make both user friendly!!
At first I was able to log in from the app, knowing I had an account. Then one day the app stopped working. Tried clicking “forgot password” and creating an account multiple times with no email being sent to the email on file. Logged into account on the website and it worked with no problem. Everyone I suggest logging into your accounts via website.
App doesn’t let you log in. Doesn’t let you create account. Doesn’t recognize email or send email request for activation.. Can’t get past log in screen. I can log in to my member account on the website but app either doesn’t recognize this info or requires new registration for app use. Requesting activation link is useless. Confirmation that email has been sent to activate account never gets sent even checked spam folder.
Miguel was attentive while registering my family and an attending to all the other incidents that was taking place at the facility. He was respect and courteous while keeping it professional despite the different incident being presented to him.
You can see the location of all the gyms in your area and sometimes what they’re rated by fellow gym goers. But the UI is soooo slow and out dated. Can’t even see my payment status. Doesn’t sync with some of the same aged health apps like FeelFit. For the amount of money we pour into the membership each month you’d think this app would improve.
The app will not let me login... for reference, I can successfully log into the website just fine, but no matter how many times I reset my password, change my email address, etc. the app will not let me log in. It always says something is wrong or I do not have an account. How are you going to make an app a required step in the reservation process when it literally doesn’t work?
New app is great! Easy to use and set up. Helps me communicate with members, create and share my workouts, and hold each other accountable. The “challenges” make things fun and exciting, and s great way to motivate each other!
How can this app fail to include the membership barcode when that’s the first thing you have to do everytime you go to the gym? I don’t want to bring anything inside the gym except my phone. There are time I forget my tag as many other do too and it becomes a problem to get in. Please add this feature!!! Do to that, I’m deleting this app.
I like the app. I like the workouts and the ability to create your own. The workout section could use a few more filters so you can narrow down the exercises you are looking for.
The app really doesn’t do much, and if you log in without changing your notification settings immediately, you’ll be bombarded with useless messages that staff post online. I figured that it would at least include a digital version of the membership tag so we could ditch the awful key tag, which is falling apart after several months, but it doesn’t even do that.
App was working well when i first started to use it. Now it constantly crashes. When i open the app, it stays on a blank white screen and then crashes. Would be nice to get back into the app without it crashing.
It will be nice to add the membership card to apple wallet and add your favorite gym address. So when you go to the gym you can pull out your phone and scan.
Website asks you to see gym information on the app. Went to the help desk as I entered the gym and asked the front desk. They replied, “Ummm I don’t think the app works anymore.” So there’s that. Would be nice if they had a app that works to keep track of everything since it’s an advertised feature. Planet Fitness seems to be beating XSport for a reason.
I joined Xsport specifically for group classes. The app has a calendar feature that I was excited for, however there is nowhere on the app to see location specific schedules or add those to factor into your plan. If I wanted a weight loss/at home exercise app I would have downloaded one. Deleted the app.
I downloaded this app when I joined the gym almost 3 years ago and it kinda sucked, but it was alright for saving workouts. Now the app doesn’t work at all. It doesn’t let me login and when I click “forgot password” (even though I know my password), it doesn’t even send me a link.
Gym equipment is exceptional and well maintained. Not enough cleaners and younger crowd leaves the place continually littered. Steam and Sauna in good condition. Whirlpool has not worked in over 2 years and employees insist it will be fixed. Some of employees have said the company doesn’t want to spend the few thousand to repair even though they rake in new members.
This is a great app, for beginners or fitness Enthusiasts program design made easy... If used with a fitness professional it is an even greater tool when designing custom programs for desired goals!!! Enjoy
As most others are experiencing it seems...my login says it is incorrect on the app although it lets me login on the browser. Was looking forward to be able to track my workouts and such. You would think this would be resolved since I see reviews with this feedback from months ago
App is awesome and a great way for Xsport members and staff communicate and achieve fitness goals! As far as everyone whose login is not working the app will fully launch May 1st and you guys will love it !
Amazed at the lack of an option to scan in using the app. The best I can do is take a photo of my key tag and use it if I don’t bring my keys. Even inferior gyms have this option; how much does it take to add it to an update?
I tried to log into the app a few times using the same email and password I use to access the member section of the website, but the app didn’t recognize this info. After learning from other reviews that the app can’t be scanned at check in, I deleted it. What’s the point??
It only allows you to log in but doesn’t allow you to create an account. I went on to their actual website and made an account through there and thought I’d be able to login then, but no. It says they can’t find my account. This is very annoying. Please fix this.
Not only does my login not work but the reset password method doesn’t work either. Everytime I try to reset it and it says it sent a email to me, I never have an email from them even in my spam or trash folder, nothing is there. FIX YOUR APP BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE ACTUALLY WANNA USE IT!!!!!
I love XSPORT but I think their app needs to update to a more modern and stylish way that’ll organize my fitness plans when I check in who I’m training with that day and how much I’m paying for the gym , etc. it can look so much more nicer and more efficient with a nice upgrade
Dan is my trainer, he’s great. I have far exceeded my goals. He explains and demonstrates what he wants me to do and encourages me every step of the way. A great trainer and a great person. Thank you!
What’s the point of this app? I don’t want to communicate with other people that go to my gym or the employees there. The only functionality I would be looking for is a digital key tag so I don’t have to bring the flimsy plastic one and a log of all the times I have been to gym.
Attempted to access this twice, but no e-mail was sent. It’s been a few days. I checked both inbox and junk mail...nothing. This method is pointless. Just let people go to the gym without having to download a worthless app to RSVP. How many more stupid guidelines do we have to follow just to go to a gym to workout?
Just like the gym itself, it has found a way to take the cheap route when producing this app. Like their website, the app only delivers frustration and annoyance. I’m sure this app would okay if it worked. I believe it is fairly new but the fact that I cannot even log in is a major red flag.
Why isn’t there a digital barcode feature for your account here? Ideally I remove my physical keychain and only use this app to get inside the gym... only reason I installed and feature isn’t available...
Don’t bother with this app. It’s completely useless. I was so excited to get an email that Xsport FINALLY has an app only to be disappointed that there’s no X-it class schedule or sign up on it. Why bother spending money to develop such a useless app?!?! I deleted it off all my devices once I realized how useless this app is.
I’m having major issues logging in. It’s hard to contact app support. I’m using my normal login that I use on the site but it’s not working on the app. Communication needs to be better when having issues.
The Norridge XSport is disgustingly dirty all the time. I’ve brought it up to management many times and they don’t seem to care. The bathrooms are filthy. They need to hire a janitor! The equipment is broken for long time periods and their Spa options are also unavailable or broken half the time.
I can’t even log into this app. I can log in fine on the website via a laptop/mobile browser so the developers of the app should look into this since it seems like I’m not the only person having this issue.
Downloaded the app because they promised a keyless entry!! All I have is a bunch of email and nothing really useful. Want to track your performance manually enter your data here. I don’t understand who they paid for this crap, but I would want my money back. Refund from developers!!!
