I literally love this app. I downloaded this app yesterday and studied all day. I took my permit test today and passed it with a perfect score. I don’t understand why everyone is complaining yes you do have to pay but there’s a 3 day free trial after that you have to pay. I did all 60 levels in one day because I had to take the test the next day. If you can’t afford it just use the free 3 day trial and memorize and much as you can. This app makes studying fun and entertaining. I couldn’t stay studying for more than 20 minutes on the Book I’ll end up falling asleep but I studied all day this this app which is shocking to me. There’s even an option to pay $9.99 a month instead of $4.99 a week. $10 a month is not expensive especially for the amount of information this app gives you! I know this a long review but I’m just in disbelief of how much I’ve learned in a couple of hours. When I first downloaded the app I literally had no clue about anything that do with driving. A Day later I passed my permit test with a perfect score. Anyways the point is I loveeee this app and give it a try!
Okay, so I do like this app, and it’s good for helping me study for my permit test, with all of the visuals and the simplicity of each chapter. That being said, and I get that you guys have to earn your money, but please, for the love of God, don’t lock everything behind a paywall! Most people, including me, are teenagers that are going to take their permit tests soon. Most of us don’t have jobs, and I can’t even buy premium because where I live, you have to be 16 to work. I think it’s a little scummy making teenagers pay to use this app. There are so many other ways for you guys to make money. I’d rather you NOT force us to buy premium and just make people watch ads. You COULD offer premium, but that should be optional, not forced upon everyone. Also, the reminder thing doesn’t even work. I set my reminder time to a certain time, and I get reminded 2+ hours after the time that I set. Fix that please. Also, seriously? Those who don’t get premium get a daily limit of TWO LESSONS? Are you kidding me? It’s like you’re punishing those who genuinely can’t buy premium, which that in and of itself is just a horrible thing to do. And also, why would you limit the amount of ads people can watch? Don’t you WANT more money? Limiting ads to two a day won’t make you more money. The least you can do is get rid of the limited amount of lessons those who don’t have premium can do. 2 a day is atrocious and messed up, and again, feels like a punishment.
App runs very smooth but giving us ads and forcing a membership?
I have to admit I find this app to be extremely well built as well as helpful for a student like me, but I find it tough on a tight schedule. I don’t have the money to complete this in a week, I am also in no rush, but I find it upsetting that the little time I find myself doing this, I can’t do more than 3 chapters. I understand this a very expensive app to develop, but I have lost patience with back to back ads and still not being able to continue. Again I’m a freshman in high school, I have got a lot to do, much less than others, but still how do you expect people with full-time jobs or school to have the patience as well as time to complete this. And according to my math, at this rate, it will take 2 and a half weeks not including special recaps- and while you may want the special help (which is very good) I just feel like I can do so much more. So before going premium do double check yourself that you are prepared, other wise I love the innovation and the professionalism in this app. It’s very smooth and even somewhat relaxing. The atmosphere is one I would like to learn in and I believe developers have outdone themselves. But I would recommend specialized classes such as motorcycles, semi trucks, manual-drive. And while I haven’t looked completely into those details I am satisfied with the app
At 20 years old it’s embarrassing to say that I just got my learners permit. I just “got around” to it because I suffer from severe anxiety and PTSD due to trauma from bad car accidents in the past. When I downloaded this app, I had no hope. I started using it to study, and thanks to the reminder setting, I actually went back to studying from time to time. All of a sudden I had the courage to try and drive in a parking lot, so I did. It was terrifying at first, but I did it. After a while of studying and the mini tests that the app provides, I decided to make an appointment to receive at least my permit. I got to the “final test” on the app and I passed, I took it a few more times and I passed those times as well, so instead of waiting for my appointment, I just walked into my dmv. Of course I was still scared of failing, but I’m proud and happy to say that I passed with flying colors. Not a single incorrect answer. This app truly helped me learn all of the knowledge that I needed for the test, along with keeping me on track. I 100% recommend.
Hi! If you want to get your permit but you just can’t sit down and read the book, maybe it’s the attention span (that’s me) or you just don’t have time (also me) or maybe the book is just too boring (also one of my problems 😂) this app helps out with these problems a lot. It’s on your phone and so whenever you have free time just open the app click on the next chapter and start reading. The chapter are just shortened versions of the actual book so you get all the information you need just in a shortened version! The app is colorful and it’s like a game. If you pass the tests, you get points and go to different levels, with these different levels, you get a different car each time! So it really grabs your attention and makes you wanna keep passing the tests and keep up to see how many points you get. So if anything I said sounds like wow that sounds fun or wow that would really help me out, then definitely get this app and check it out! 10/10 would recommend! 👍👍
I would recommend this app, It’s so worth it. I’m studying for my permit test and just taking the DMV practice test or trying to read the book is so boring. I feel they make the question very confusing and hard to understand but with this app I understand everything. I love that they give you pictures to show what is happening or what it is looks like. I like that they give you preview and explain about whatever section u are doing before taking the test for that section. It also explains to you why you got the answer wrong or got it right. Then after a few sections you can take a mini test on those sections u did already. I found this app very helpful so i would definitely recommend it. Especially you’re like me and a visual learner this is the app for you. Plus if you buy the app you get the first 3 days for free and then you start to pay for it. You can even cancel before you start to pay.
I am so nervous about my taking my test. I have been wanting to go to drivers school for a while now. I asked my mom she said it’ll have to wait then a couple of days ago me and my oldest sister was talking about how she was gonna get me a car and which one we wanted then she said something about drivers class that I’ve been wanting to go to. She called up to the place and signed me in I was excited then she said I had to take a permits test, I got scared because I thought I would fail it because I know nothing about driving really. My mom let me drive her car a few times and I did really good. I went on google to see what the questions was like and I barley knew the answers to them. Then I saw a ad for this app and I haven’t felt more confident taking a test in my life. If your looking for something that will help you pass your test for sure this is the app for you.
Amazing app but not all information are provided in lectures
I am a first time learner and I found this app to be a quite entertaining way to learn the rules of the road. There are cool graphics and fun scenario problems. However, answers of 1/4 of the test problems given aren’t explained in lectures. For example, it would ask you a question regarding where to check the oil level, but the tutorial mentioned nothing about checking oil levels, or even different parts of the car. I think this is a great app for someone who already has a some experience with driving or understands the different parts/function of the car, it would serve as a perfect refresher. But it might be challenging for someone like me who has little knowledge of how vehicles functions at all. (I have to search up a lot of the different vehicle parts myself in order to proceed with the questions sometimes). It would be great if the app can offer different levels of explanation based on the user’s level of knowledge. (Amateur/learning for the first time, prepping/reviewing for a test, expert/just reviewing the rules)
I was really happy and all, expecting to learn something, and I started the first test. There was literally only one question, and it asked me if I was excited to learn. So I hit yes, and tried to start the next test. Literally as soon as I clicked on it, it took me to this pay wall. I AM 16. I do not have money to pay for something like this. I don’t have the money and I am not going to ask my parents to pay for something like this monthly. My parents bust their butts off for me with the amount of income they get. They have enough bills to pay and I’m not gonna add another bill. If I had a job maybe, but I can’t get to work without a car, and I can’t a car without a permit and I can’t get a permit without passing the test, and I can’t past the test if I don’t know anything. This app is misleading. You download thinking you’re gonna learn something, but you can’t without paying. Remember your audience, most of the people that download this app are teens, and they aren’t making money to pay for something like this. And if you think I’m gonna ask my parents to pay for an app like this when I can google the answers if desperate enough, you’re mistaken.
I’m 18 and have no use for the app really but I saw it on Instagram and in my complete boredom I figured why not see if I still know enough to pass and I downloaded it and did the first part where it asks if I’m excited which I wasn’t but whatever and then it say I have to pay to do the rest now like I said I don’t need it but even if I did I’m not paying for something as dumb as this just read the book if you really wanna study I passed mine and didn’t study for a second it’s really not that hard but if your that worried study the book they give you don’t waist your time or your money on an app that is targeting teens and asking them to pay for something you can get for free and I don’t even know if the information in the game is right but i know it is in the book and I see the people saying that they learned everything in 1 whole day and all is just so great but cramming for something important like this is not a good idea I’m glad they passed more power too you and if you can’t stay awake reading the book you have a lot more to worry about than just passing the test
I LOVE this app. I have one year until I can get my permit, so I want to know everything about driving. This is definitely the perfect app for that. I have learned so much already about driving since the second lesson! The lessons are quick and easy. This app basically has you take these quizzes, and you answer which you think is right. (it's multiple choice) It will tell you if you're wrong/right, and then gives some helpful reasons why the rule is that way. The only thing I don't like about this app, is all the ads I have to watch because I don't have the full version. To unlock a level, you have to watch an ad. I understand that watching the ads help bring money to the company that made this, but maybe we can watch an ad every other level instead? Despite that, I love this app and definitely recommend it!
Similarly to other reviewers, I only used this app to study for two days, a few hours per day and I passed on the first try. There are a few questions on the DMV test that aren’t specifically covered in the app, but they are all solvable with common sense. Where I have a problem with the app is with some of the answers. There are some where the explanations clearly point to one answer while the “correct” answer isn’t correctly designated, causing confusion. I would say there were around three of these such answers. In addition, there are also some tests that cover material not in the reading; I have no idea where the oil tank is in a car, why don’t you just put that in the reading that was right before the test? Other than these two concerns, I can’t really complain when I was able to study so little and pass, so thanks Zutobi.
I can say I have a hard time concentrating and I needed something that was quick and easy for me to learn. I’m in my 20s and I have driving anxiety, so I’m barely in the process of getting my license. Been realizing for a while that I need to be a bit more responsible and to start driving. Tried to read the hand book, but couldn’t sit around to read it because I would get bored quickly and start doing something else. I downloaded this app and it was very easy! Almost every lesson in this app, I got at least a 90%. Passed all lessons, the final test, the signs tests, and practice tests in the app. A few days later after downloading this app, I went to my permit test appointment. Nervous, but hey I passed on the first try. Missed 3 questions! Thanks to this app for making it easy for me!
This looks like an awesome app and it does look like you can learn from it although I can’t really say that with certainty because I only took one test question that asked me if I was excited to take the test and then after that it told me I had to pay to learn. I’m 16! I can’t even go to 711 and buy myself a bag of chips! You should put in your title somewhere “Oh btw you have to pay for 99% of the app”. That would’ve been helpful! I know you have it in the description but not everyone reads them when they first download an app and paying for it is a vital piece of information that you should put at the very top so people won’t waste their time. Yea sure I can ask my parents but then that would make my head a moving target for anything and everything they can grab and that is including the chihuahua. I can get a job and then pay for it but wait how tf am I gonna get to my job. WITHOUT. A. CAR. My parents aren’t gonna drive me there! They don’t even take me to school I walk there and sometimes in the rain. If you’re in my situation. This app. Not worth it.
I failed the written test 3 times and was losing hope in myself. I struggled to read the handbook because I’m more of a visual learner and a lot of the things said were things I failed to understand or think about. It wasn’t until my cousin and mom recommended me this app that it has been the best that has ever helped me. After many websites and other apps, nothing has helped me understand the rules of the road more than this app. As a visual learner, it has helped me visualize and put myself in scenarios so much better than any other website or app has done for me. Today is the day I passed the test within a week of using the app, and I was able to successfully pass after all these months! I am very thankful and 100% recommend the app to people!
Disregard any bad commentary of this app! This app saved me because I have failed my permit test many times before. I have test anxiety and well before using this app I didn’t have any time or way to memorize any driving material. I would take my test stressed and ended up failing before using Zutobi. I used this app for two and a half weeks. You do have to pay to gain access of materials but it is well worth it. I took my permit test today and passed with 100. It sounds unbelievable but isn’t I promise. I could understand the questions and overall helped me. Thank you for creating such a well planned, convenient app that anyone can use!!! I recommend this for teens, college kids, adults, etc because of its convenience and organization.
Don’t get me wrong, I like how the app is structured and the lessons are actually helpful but the fact is it really isn’t for everyone. I used the app for about 2 weeks on the free version which only allows you to do 2 lessons a day. I actually learned a good amount from it and the lessons were well written and helpful but the time it takes to complete the entirety of the lessons to be ready for a permit test just simply isn’t necessary for everyone. After the about two weeks I wanted to find a quicker way to learn and found my state’s practice tests on the official site and just practices those until I got good scores on all three of them. This process took me about three days max and I was ready for my permit test compared to the 2-3 months it would have taken me to complete the whole Zutobi course. Again it is a fantastic option for people who are okay with taking the whole course and taking about 3 months to do so but there may be better options for others.
The app was good, gave good tests and had a good way of teaching. But when I first opened the app, it showed me their premium content. I did not want to pay for any premium content because I do not have the right money to spend on it. I went to take a test and everything was going well until I reached 7 questions remaining and they gave me another showing of their premium content! I clicked the X out of it and it brought me back to the 7 remaining questions screen, I clicked the “next question” button and it brought the premium content out again! This went on for many times, and I never got to finish my test. I deleted the app, and now I’m here. Don’t get me wrong though, this is a pretty good app. All I ask is why must you always shove your premium content in my face? Is there a way for you to not do that? Maybe add some advertisements on the side to make money? I’m just trying to pass my drivers test.
It’s not even expensive.. Single teen mom here who waitresses, so I’m busy. This app helped me stay on track. Everything about it is amazing. I have adhd and some learning issues, but the way they set the curriculum.. not too much reading but enough to inform you about everything. After each chapter (which none are super crazy extensive long) you take a short quiz. All throughout the levels. I think there’s like 62 levels before the final test. I’ve passed every level 80%+ and I’m on level 42 I believe. I love it. It’s an amazing app whoever created it deserves a raise and recognition forreals cus I still wouldn’t know anything abt driving or have the enthusiasm to get my license if it weren’t for this app. Definitely worth it. 11/10 would recommend
I love this app. I passed my test because of this app. Only one tiny problem- there is one question on this app that does not match to that of the official DMV written test. My first time seeing the question on Zutobi I clicked my answer but it turned out to be wrong. I thought there was no way it could be that answer, but it was on Zutobi. On the written test though, I got the exact same question from Zutobi and I clicked the answer that Zutobi said to be correct. Guess what? I got it wrong on the written test! Turns out, the answer I knew from the beginning was the correct answer. Thanks a lot Zutobi. No I’m kidding, besides that one question, everything is accurate and very helpful. I recommend this app! You have to pay in order to use this app. They charge 4.99 per week for you to be able to take any quizzes. The only thing you can do is take a one question test which asks you if you’re excited or not to learn. Then in order to continue to do anything on the app you will be charged 5 dollars a week. What 15-18 year old wants to pay that a week? Many kids don’t even have a job yet, so they’re not gonna have the money to pay for it. They’re better off just taking free quizzes on a different app or online. I understand that the app developer wants to make money, but $5 a week is a bit ridiculous. Maybe have a couple free quizzes so that if a kid doesn’t have money, they can at least get something out of the app. Also a few free quizzes would help an app user know just what it is that the app is offering. Once I saw that the app was gonna bill me for $5 a week, I literally didn’t hesitate to delete the app. There was nothing drawing me in. I’m begging the app developer to make some changes.
I bought the premium version a week before my permit test so and then cancelled my subscription after. This app is really good at helping you understand the concepts you need to know in order to pass the test. None of the practice questions are actually on the real test but this app does a good job at providing similar examples. I went through the whole course in like four days and read the whole drivers handbook. I was really worried about not passing but I got a 100% and I don’t think I would have without this app. The subscription is worth it and just pay for a week and then end it after you pass your test!! Good luck you got this!!!
At first, when i saw this app i got pretty excited since it looked like a fun way to study the test. Little did I know, the first question asked “Are you excited to get your drivers license?” then you proceed to answer yes or no. Immediately after that it asks if you want to get the premium version (which is 10 dollars a month). The game is then locked behind a pay wall to learn/study the other 99% of the app. 10 dollars to me at only 16 is like 100 dollars, I cant even go and buy a pack of gum from the store, so if I'm gonna get a job to get money how am i gonna get there without a car if i need to know how to drive for the test? Im sure as hell my parents aren't going to drive my every single day because they'd get tired of it. The developers know that many kids need an app like this to help them pass, so they put paywalls to force teens to nag their parents for money which is bs. This would be a great app if 99% of the app wasn't stuck behind a 10 dollar a month pay wall!
Ok. Overall the app is AWESOME !! It’s colorful, it gives pictures etc ! But you have to pay $5 a week. Now that doesn’t sound bad at all ... if you have a job . Like most of us, we don’t. And our parents will not pay either. Me personally, I love this type of learning technique where I can actually visualize each scenario, but I don’t think I should have to pay for it. It’s rly sad. Maybe u should start giving exactly 24 hours for free . Meaning the time starts when you start ur first lesson, I feel that is completely fair. There’s literally 50 lessons, why only give 2 free? You wouldn’t believe how EXCITED I was that I found a great app for “free”.... I told my friends, family etc . That is until I got finished with the first 2 lessons . This app was a complete bummer, and ruined my whole mood. I suggest not to download this app, unless you want to pay.
This app is so awesome. It really is. The only reason I gave it so low of a rating it because of the ONLY option it gives you to use the app. You can use it for a free THREE days yes, (not even a week ?) but there is no free way to use the app after that. . For people like me this is unfortunate. . I know it’s not even $5 but you would be surprised how much that $5 matters to some people budgets. . All I’m saying is there should be a free option. Like get 100% on the quiz and do this extra thing ? I dunno. You guys come up with it. It’s your app. I understand you need to make money. . But if you have helped thousands so far, why not help millions by having a free option for your customers that makes them strive for better. That’s the ENTIRE point of this app any way. And trust me there are SOOOO many drivers that do not know everything that is in here !
For an app that offers a premium service, but ESSENTIALLY since its a free app, its definitely worth the down load. Granted, if you have a good but of common sense, a majority of the questions are fairly easy. At the start I was reading the lessons they offer before the test, and its good information. However I found that even just skipping straight to the test I average getting 90% of them correct regardless. But the 10% I get wrong was a nice learning experience. They have state specific questions as well which I thought was nice. All in all I didn't need the app, but if your concerned about how clueless to feel when it comes to the rules of the road, this app does a great job to reaffirming your knowledge.
THIS APP IS WONDERFUL but… it does have a lot of stuff to work on, such as the timing and Glitches. I have an iPhone 11 that is up to date but everytime I open the app it either takes 5-10 minutes to load or just glitches out of the ap completely. Secondly, when I’m actually in the test, for the timer, it’s weird, cause some days I can do it when my timer isn’t up, but on other days I can’t do it at all when my timer is going ( like the timer is being used correctly) so, I would like to see if you could work on that. And also when I go into a test and try to take it, the screen where it makes me buy the membership comes up automatically. It doesn’t even show my timer but on other days it does show my timer so that’s a little glitchy too.
So I started studying for my permit test and looked for ways to study and saw a YouTuber show this app, so I downloaded it. Very is normal and the test do make sense but the paywall that comes up is extremely annoying but I know you guys are a company and need money but there are better ways to do it, as for the other reason is every time I try to do a lesson it says either I have no internet connection, even though I do or I do the lesson and still unable to to move on using up the free lessons without premium, so there isn’t any progression. For anyone else looking for ways to study take the dmv practice test it’s more helpful and it’s an official way to study on the government website. They also provide free digital handbooks. But most of all this app is lay out in a nice way, the paywall or premium is the issue and the bugs or something that is done on purpose to prevent progression.
I just took my permit test and passed with flying colors! I definitely recommend this app to all new drivers, it really helps! And I see how everyone in complaining about the payment, but just do all the lessons before the free trial ends and unsubscribe! You don’t even have to pay! There’s like no issues with this app and I understand why they make a payment method. It’s because this is top quality knowledge! **NOTE TO DEVELOPERS**The only thing that I would say is, if possible make the final exam with new unseen questions so you can learn and prepare better instead of seeing the same questions over again. Keep up the good work!
In my ownOpinion this app is quite magnificent, not only does it teach you about the rules of driving, but it teaches you way more, it teaches you about the road, the signs, towing, marking, etc. did you do everything that you need to know about driving and just simple things that you need to know for life. I think this app gives information that if not known would leave you super uneducated. When driving you need to know everything not only for your safety but for possibly others in the car or other on the street, it’s always good to be safe. Without this app I probably would’ve failed my drivers tests.
I kept getting this as an ad on Instagram, as a teenager who's late in learning to drive, so I figured: why not? This should be a fun way to finally learn how to drive! It looks colorful and legit! I complete the introductory chapter, I'm excited as ever to finally prepare myself for driving school and catch up with all my peers. I select Chapter 2, and my heart shatters on the realization that I, a simple teenager without a job or bank account, am being extorted and cheated. I want to learn to drive? Too bad, unless I fork over the money I'll be stuck with books and standardized tests for eternity. I wouldn't have been so heartbroken if they told me firsthand, but they somehow saw my weaknesses and used it to their advantages, hurting both my trust and my iPhone storage. On the plus side, I've taken this as a learning experience to never trust Instagram ads ever again.
I said it was kinda helpful because i’m 14 and at the end of this year i’m supposed to be taking the test for my permit but while I was taking the test on level 1 and once I got to question 4 the app kept trying to make me do a 3-day free trial or it wouldn’t let me proceed and I didn’t want to do a 3-day free trial because everybody know that when those days are up the app will try to charge your card most times. So i’m not writing this review to hate on the app or anything i’m just trying to get my personal experience across because I actually like the app it was just that one problem that caused trouble.
I can see what the complaints are about, it’s a useful app but only if you’re willing to pay, There’s plenty of test and the first one is unlocked which there are 8 questions on funny enough they only let you answer 4 questions, you can’t even finish one full test before you’re expected to pay, I saw the reviews before getting the app but I wasn’t expecting it to be that bad, might as well just make the app itself cost seeing as there’s barely a free way to use it instead of wasting time but then again you do get a 3 day free trial which is very useful for people who r capable in learning and remember everything there is to know about driving within 3 days, unfortunately I’m not one of those people. Maybe I’ll start listening to reviews
this is a really useful and good app. when paying for premium. you will have to spread out the lessons much longer if not, which is a little ridiculous. otherwise, i have found a only a few issues. apprx 2-5 of the lessons have minor misspellings. one of them is glitched and does not have the lesson attached to the set of questions, just goes straight into the questions(and no, it’s not one of the test ones, and asks questions for things NOT previously mentioned). and some of the after-lesson questions ask you things that were not covered in the lessons. add more substance in lessons where this is true, and you’ll be fine. i’ll update my review after my permit test tomorrow.
I have an official dmv student learner guide provided by the secretary of state and i've been getting answers that are different than the ones taught in Zutobi. For example, Zutobi says look left-right-left first (or when searching for cars) but the official guide says *always* look right-left-right. There's also an issue with the wording. When describing road signs, they use a different term for it or they leave out extra terms included in the official dmv guide. Fluorescent pink in Zutobi is said to be incident management (for my state) but in the dmv guide it says "unplanned event"? Fluorescent yellow-green means "school zone" in Zutobi. In the DMV guide it's "school, pedestrian or bicycle caution". Am I stupid? is it a given that "school zone" also means "pedestrian or bicycle caution"? because i did not pick that up at all lol. I was asked "which color means bicycle caution" and i was so confused because zutobi told me it was only school zone. I double-checked to make sure I chose the correct state and I did. It's just a bit weird to leave out certain important terms and extra detail. I gave two stars only because the interface is easy to use and i love how they also added videos.
I recently started studying for my driving test and while studying in the book I end up getting distracted easily and I wanted an app which could help me study without panicking!! While I look at the book I panic but this app makes all of those lessons in one page easy to remember and it’s also tests you after you have studied that lesson,but this app is free you can buy the trail if you want but there is a option if to watch ads if you can’t afford to buy the trail I also love the neat tests they are so easy to answer and if you get them wrong there is a detailed explanation on which is the correct answer. - rire
This app is amazing, its helping so much with what information you need to know when you start driving, most of what i learned came from this app, i definitely recommend it to anyone learning how to start driving. One small thing thats been happening to me is when i'm doing the lessons and get down to 6 questions left it always puts me into buying the 3 day trial and evidently the $4.99 a week pass. i've been using this app for free for months and i never had this issue, i like being able to do the 1-2 lessons a day with the ads but now i cant even do one because it puts me into that screen. i don't want to buy it but i don't wanna stop using this app, please help
I’ve always wanted to drive but I could never push myself to read the handbook I would always lose interest. So when I heard about the Zutobi app from a ad I decided to check it out. I read through the description and it talked about how you don’t need to read the manual and it basically summarizes it for me. I instantly downloaded it and started going through it. Although there is a pretty pricey paywall that you need to purchase to get through the app I found it extremely worth it. I just finished taking my written exam at the DMV and passed it first try. Anyone who is struggling to read the handbook I highly recommend giving this app a try.
This app allows you to go over all the rules and regulations of the law, while driving. It’s a great way to practice and study before you are ready to take that step in getting your permits or license to drive. Chapters aren’t very long. Corrects you when your wrong, or mini test. And give you a chance to retry the question! Also test your knowledge by giving end of chapter quizzes. (Don’t correct you when you wrong. Give you a chance to see what you know on your own, and tell you how you did at the end of the quiz). That’s the best part! You’ll enjoy this app as much as I do! Considering, um studying for my permits. 😆😆 This app was recommended to me by a friend and I love it!
I really thought this would be a game, I swear I would of bought everything on the app if it was. Games can help increase the learning experience because of the adrenaline rush you receive when you actually finish the game. I would learn more playing a monster high car parking game than this. Other people like it, I’m not a fan. Paying for a test that shows pictures, eh, I could get a game for free/I could buy a cheaper book that’d save me money and save the hassle of buying something I’m going to cancel when I’m finished with it. :/ nothing against the developers that’s why my rating is high.
I personally was ecstatic that I found something that is reliable and easy to learn from. Let me be real though. I downloaded it thinking it was all free until it said you had to pay to get the course. I doubted it, but honestly I’d rather get this than $350 courses. Im 17 about to turn 18 and really needed something that helped me learn to get my license. After a few days getting studying time and behind the wheel..it has helped a lot❗️C’mon now, this app is free for download and only a few bucks a week. If you dont have the money be creative and go get some money. Start saving coins or doing a small side job i dont know. Though let me tell you this app is worth it🥂
The price for the plus subscription is expensive and “prices are subject to change without notification” is blatant robbery. I like this app, it’s a good amount of interactive and the length of the individual lessons make it so learners don’t get discouraged. Seeing as there is a daily ad limit, I'm still going to have to find a different service. I downloaded this app so I could learn everything I need to know quickly and efficiently (when studying textbooks, the information doesn’t stick) but with the limitations that come with the free version it will take me months to get through the course. I would come back to the app if and when the price changes and for if the price changes consumers get a notification.
The app seems to be high quality but you can not access any of it without paying. They make premium seem like an option, but it only lets you access the first lesson, which is only about “the right of way”, and it makes you take half of the test for that lesson before it requires you to buy premium. Everything else is locked behind a paywall that is required and not optional, you can not access any other lessons. They really make it seem optional at first but it is required. These scummy and greedy people really want teenagers to pay $8, not per month, but per week. Not only is it insanely costly but also inaccessible unless you pay, whilst they make it seem that paying is an option initially. They could just include ads like a normal app and not make it required to buy “premium” (buying access to the app).
so I’m hurrying to study for my permit test cause I don’t want to fail again and I got this app and it’s very helpful. They’ll either let you pay for plus or just watch an ad to view course. However, you only get access to 3 ads before you have to wait ONE whole day before you can do another 3. I don’t have the money for premium and to me, 24 hours seems like a long time so I would either recommend lowering the amount of time to like 2 or maybe 5 hours or just give us more ads so we can access more lessons cause i’ve got to get my permit now. I don’t have time to read the whole manual in a short amount of time and this is the perfect app because everything is shortened.
So I have a short attention span and always get so distracted with things. Especially when it comes to studying and reading. But this app made it so easy! I did the 3 day free trial and was able to do all the tests in those three days. And I passed the final test! My trial is over but I’m thankful I can just watch an ad to do more tests. I mostly watch ads to keep practicing the final test. My permit test is on the 7th of July. I’ll update on wether I pass or not, but with this app I feel so confident I’ll pass. Thank you! I hope more people use this app and are able to pass their tests. I mostly see all good reviews so I’m hopeful ❤️
I’m not usually one to actually sit down and write a review but this app is an amazing way to prepare for your permit test. It breaks all the chapters down and then breaks it into lessons which you go through then gives you a test. This comprehensive learning style is very similar to how the modern us high school education system is making it easy to comprehend through the eyes of a high schooler I genuinely got sad when I reached my lesson limit for the day because I just wanted to learn more. It goes through the drivers manual you can find online and breaks it down making it easy to comprehend can’t wait to take my actual permit test!!!!!!!!!
As a teenager I am very excited to start driving. My parents promised to pay for my first test but if I fail I need to pay for my own. I’m ok with that but I need to study in order to pass the first time. I was so excited to find a well organized app to help. I got through the first chapter fine but then found out I need to pay five dollars EVERY WEEK in order to use the app. I’d be ok with 5 bucks a month but every week is so greedy. I hate to ask my parents because they do so much already. And I can’t afford this because I don’t make money because I don’t have a job and I need to drive in order to get a job. Shame on the developers for being so greedy.
I love love LOVEE this app so much. Before I installed this app, I took my permit test thinking I was prepared enough but turns out I wasn’t and I fail. I installed this app after and it has taught me so much about the road and driving. The best part about the lessons are that there are videos and pictures to go along with it which just makes it wayy more easier to understand. It didn’t feel like I was I memorizing information but instead understanding it. Because of this app, when I tested for my permit again I passed with no questions incorrect. You might have to pay 7.99 a week but it’s so worth it
I was excited to use this app as it was the most up to date dmv app available, but after the first lesson (which was a one question quiz saying “are you excited to get your drivers license?”) I was unable to move on to the second lesson without paying $4.99 as a weekly subscription. The app appears to work as a point system, where you get enough points on one quiz in order to move onto the next. However, after taking that first quiz a dozen times, I was only able to achieve 300 points... it said I needed 582 points to move on to the next lesson. No matter how many times I tried to retake that first lesson I still could not get enough points to move on to the second one. The only other option was to pay for a $4.99/week subscription which allowed access to all of the quizzes regardless of the amount of points you have. The issue with this is I’m 16 without a job or any time to get a job, and my mom doesn’t see the point in paying for an app if the dmv book works just fine. (Personally, I think this app would be way more convenient than the book if there wasn’t this subscription issue) TLDR; App’s point system doesn’t work, so you need to pay in order to move on to the next lesson
I was doing my first test and got to the fourth question, and upon pressing “continue” I got a pop-up for the premium version. It seems that it won’t let me continue unless I purchase a free trial and the premium account. The person who recommended me this app had originally been able to complete the entire program without purchasing premium, but have had their data wiped and are now experiencing the same problem that I am. Three days isn’t nearly long enough to complete it (since I am a minor and still go to school). It’s unfortunate that you’ve added a paywall to your app. I’ve already had to pay for the state course to get my permit… Edit: After reading some other reviews and developer responses, you guys are extremely arrogant and selfish. I’ll leave it at that. This app isn’t worth my time.
