I love כאן11 and have enjoyed their content for several years from outside of Israel with some shows unfortunately but understandably blocked probably for copyright reasons. But ever since the latest update the App doesn’t work and the screen for watching live is literally blank just a black screen as well as the radio stations don’t play! This is ridiculous and for the past several days the app is completely useless and I’m very disappointed!
The app works. Usually. And providing good content. But both iPhone and iPad apps don’t auto rotate as most apps do. Works only in portrait mode. Very annoying if you put your device in landscape mode and want to read something. Can’t understand why. In addition, when you use it to listen to live content, the background and show title don’t change as programs change. So you listen to show B but see the details of show A. No refresh. Another thing is the poor Lock Screen widget which doesn’t necessarily work. If you had just used regular functions or libraries that do all of the above, it would have been a great app.
The quality of the broadcasts, especially the news and historical documentaries are first class. However, I can no longer receive the live broadcasts as previously with the Broadcasting Authority. Why not charge a subscription fee is money is the issue. You are hurting yourselves by not exposing us to the Israeli perspective on so many issues. I also miss the basketball and soccer matches that were broadcast before May 2017.
An excellent on line as well as the TV platform, combines news Israeli news, and world news, in a very fair and very interesting format, it’s very informing and diverse, I enjoy watching it on the TV. The news is informative and to the point, whether it’s news, sports, culinary or anything else it is always fresh new and very well put together. Congratulations.
Love the app used to work but for the past few days from North America black screen on live and when tryouts nag to contact and report a problem. Thanks
I am an israeli living outside of israel, this was my only form of news and i would listen to the radio regularly. Recent update has blocked that for me, this is very frustrating! I understand blocked shows and other forms of content but i just want to keep up with the news. רשות השידור הציבורית, this should be free for the public regardless if they live in or israel or out. I dont understand why after so ling you decided to block access it is a shame, please let me listen to the news again 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
App is completely unusable outside of Israel because developers now intentionally block foreign traffic. They do not seem to understand Cloudflare can effectively curtail denial of service attacks and handle much of the traffic from their network of cloud servers without bogging down KAN’s servers. Can’t think of another news organization or broadcaster that has intentionally blocked millions of legitimate users because they cannot get their server security measures in order. Let’s get it together.
Please return the option to cast the screen to a TV. Since a few updates ago, the only option is to mirror the iPhone’s screen. It’s very annoying. Also, please please please create a version for Apple TV. All the other broadcasters have their own apps!
The Kan app is supposed to include a feature they advertise as Kan Box where you can see episodes of shows. Whenever I try to see them they come up as unavailable. I’m not to watch most of the shows they advertise. I use the app for news. Occasionally clips and podcasts that look interesting also come up as unavailable. Waste of an app. Don’t advertise shows I can’t watch.
With every new version of the app it’s function (in the ability to play content live and on demand) degrades. Pieces of content that were once available in the us are not working anymore. Why would you block content that does not have any other distributor? This also includes some of the web site pages
It doesn’t work for me ,I live in the United States and the streaming doesn’t work here. I gave two stars because the graphic app looks nice and you can actually read live articles but the main thing is the streaming doesn’t work here. That app should been noticed as working only in certain areas.

To watch the most recent news show, you currently have to navigate by presenter. It should be offered by date and time so one can easily find the most recent news show to watch. Thanks.
Wish the app will have support for floating windows
When watching videos or live broadcasts, it would be extremely helpful if we could leave the app while keeping the video playing. N12 app released that functionality on iPhones not long ago. Experience changing!
I love כאן. I watch your quality programs daily. I am frustrated that good programs are excluded from territories outside Israel. I guess issues of copyright, syndication and security may be the reason but sometimes this strategy does not make sense. תודה
The app used to work well, letting me watch the recording of that day’s evening news program. Starting a few weeks ago, it acts as if it’s loading the recording, but never actually does. Disappointing. I now watch Arutz 12 instead.
I used to love this but for the past few weeks, Reshet Bet won’t play. It keeps loading and loading and 2when it finally does play, it is like one long stutter. Please fix? Thanks.
Every single time you guys update the app everything disappears and it’s impossible to find anything. Please stop doing these updates and formatting changes
This application was good until last update ; live broadcasting does not work on the USA !! Thanks that we have other Israeli APPS which do work. The company behind this application does not care ... they should be kicked off the Apple store
Can't watch on my smart tv. Can't download the app on apple tv device. ( From Florida US). In times you want to connect to Israel most of all you just can't. Beside that love the progress. All of them. Radio and TV.
The app is in Hebrew, and does not accommodate English speakers, despite the fact that half of Jews in the world speak and understand English and not Hebrew.
