While I'm not a fan of the paper tickets for their lack of security, I'm not 100% sold on getting out my phone every trip either. Still, the app looks solid and I'll give it a shot
After the last major update they removed the function for train ETAs within the schedule. Now there is a broken link that goes to the ACE train website for an update. This app has become pretty much useless when compared to the website. Although they also removed the train ETAs from the schedule on the website too. Seems like a very poor design choice on their end. Overall this was the one function I used daily on the app. Now it’s fairly useless for me.
Love the APP. Easy to navigate. I was able to purchase my ticket which includes an activating component when you’re ready to use your ticket making my ACE Rail trip from Stockton to Livermore stress-free.easy to
Customer service in the ticketing office and over the phone are very nice. But the app doesn’t work like suppose to be when I am trying to purchase tickets with my commute benefits card. It has a error message on security code sdk 111, connection-try again (did on wifis and mobile data and doesn’t work) I ended buying paper tickets with same card and everything works perfect on their office machine. Needs some work on the app development I guess.
