Impossible to make a payment
The app has been disfuncional for many years. I am a Platinum member at Aeromexico and have never been able to use the app to purchase a ticket, you go through the whole reservation process and it always fails at the end. Very frustrating !!!! Takes you back to the beginning to redo the whole reservation only to fail at payment again. Even with they new attempted fix with Click to Pay. Incredible that an airline is unable to get a simple payment right.

Useless and a waste of time
Where to start? Nothing works, the amount of bugs is shocking given that its available to download on the App Store when it feels like an early stages prototype. I’ve been using the app for over a year and each time there’s an update I’m hopeful that things will actually improve just so find out sometimes the update made things even worse. There’ve been times I’ve wasted hours trying to buy a ticket just to have the app crash at the last minute over and over. Cannot complete check in because it will crash, or some issue that is never resolved easily on the app, which is maybe the purpose of having the app to begin with? What makes it so entirely frustrating is the fact that their website is also pretty terrible and will often have the same system failures as the app. I’m an aeromexico rewards longtime member, still there’ve been several times where I’ve given up on buying an Aeromexico flight altogether, foregoing the points, and just gone with any other airline out of sheer frustration unable to buy one on any of the apps OR online. I prefer to fly with AMX but It’s like they don't want you to buy their tickets? Bizarre. Please try harder and do better, you are loosing out on ticket sales bc of this 100%. Hope someone actually sees this and makes some significant much needed changes. Ps. The other app? Aeromexico 2.0? Useless as well. Maybe worse.

El peor servicio para clientes
I recently flew Aeromexico from California to Colombia and the experience was dreadful. The airline has no concept of customer service. Beginning with a woman at the check in counter who insisted that my carry on was too heavy. It weighed 14kg, and their website said 15kg is acceptable. She insisted that the limit is 10kg. Then, she snatched it away without allowing me to attach an address tag. Her entire attitude was that phony superficial politeness underscored by aggression. Flight attendants didn’t greet passengers upon boarding. Food was awful. No dinner even offered on the 2nd leg of the flight, even though it took off at 5pm. But the WORST is that I contracted Covid from two idiots sitting next to me, who both were unmasked and talking nonstop the entire flight. Not one flight attendant said a word to them, not once, despite repeated automated announcements that masks were required. After this experience I will never use this horrible airline again.

Fundamental flaws and no attention to detail
This app has fundamental flaws and doesn’t consider use cases for many of its frequent passengers. Every time I fly back to Mexico I cannot do my online check-in because by I am not a Mexican citizen, and despite having my permanent residence, I’m always being asked to check-in at the airport. I should be able to store and save my passport and resident card information directly on my profile so I can check-in online. Or if not, there should always be a step where I can scan my resident card after scanning my passport. Additionally, the lack of attention to detail is surprising. For example, when you are asked to enter your contact information, there is a dropdown menu with pre-selected options of the relationship of the contact: (spouse, father, etc.) …. Well, in Spanish, when you select “Cónyuge” from the drop down Menu, the app automatically blocks you from moving forward because an error message appears saying that you cannot enter special characters (referring to the accent on the “o”). I DID NOT enter the special character myself but it is already pre-set BY Aeromexico. 🤦🏻‍♂️ These app is way behind vs other major airlines in the world and it is very frustrating to use. I do NOT recommend downloading.

About time!!!
About time AeroMexico has decided to actually create an app where you can book, and check your Club Premier account and check in. Basically it took like 4 years, but they’re there finally, now let’s just hope the app doesn’t crash! Lastly, I just want to say thanks for finally creating something that works! :)

Shows wrong information sometimes
I don’t know if this was the app’s problem or what, but it was showing me the wrong gate of one flight and almost missed it because of that. I didn’t want to use the app for the next flight in case it did the same, so I just looked for the screens at the airport. It also didn’t let me check-in for a flight to the USA because I’m not a citizen nor a tourist, there was not option for permanent residents. I had to check-in at the airport which is a waste of time when you have a short layover. It doesn’t let you choose the option for “cónyuge” because of the accent mark which doesn’t make sense since it’s already pre-set.

Disgraceful behavior from the staff in Mexico
We have a trip from Miami - Mexico - Mexico - Santiago. With the transfer in Mexico. We were paid in Miami full price for overweight of our luggage. Especially before we were clarifying this question with the representative manager of AeroMexico, and she wrote on our boarding passes that the all luggage were paid for overweight until Santiago (Chile). But staff in Mexico wanna enforce us pay again. In their website nothing common with that. Representative manager avoid to talk with us. Ridiculous. I will delete application of AeroMexico from my phone and never use this airlines again. Thanks, but enough! And in this pandemic situation they do not care about their reputation, when market is on the bottom... we will see Reputation is everything!

Atrocious app
I’m putting 1 single star because the app and even the webpage is dysfunctional. Had to refill my information 3 times, and even then it will mark an error and won’t let me pay. For Aeromexico I’m surprised, sorry but VivaAerobus has a much better system in their app, it’s never failed me and their flights are way cheaper, it should be the other way around cause they actually have an app that works, and for the reviews I see it seems that this app has been defective for years and they won’t fix it so I’m not the only one. I’m buying through another because simply Aeromexico didn’t give me much choice, it just kicks you out right before you pay

I’m traveling to America, so perhaps AeroMexico is a bit more forgiving for domestic travel. I tried checking in for my flight from Cancun to the United States and I simply could not check in. I called the customer service rep, who was very kind, who explained the website doesn’t work well and I have to check in at the airport. That’s fine, but nowhere could i find the hours of the aeromexico service desk at Cancun airport. I can’t risk missing a flight so I’m sitting in the entrance waiting until 3:30 AM when they open (told to me by another passenger waiting). I just want some basic information, but that seems to be impossible for AeroMexico to provide… never again

Inconsistent products
I flew from GDL to ORD. I was told that I was on the list for upgrade to Premiere. Turns out there was NO premiere. It was all Turist class. The inflight experience was inconsistent without AVOD entertainment, no dutyfree shopping, no premiere class. I was very unhappy with how old and subpar that aircraft was. I think if there are markets that deserve an intro or different level of product, then there should be certain minimum standards, offer the plus seating, duty free should be standard on all international flights. Seat Back entertainment!! Who doesnt have it in 2019, WIFI! None of that was offered. I am not looking forward to flying home on the same old and tired plane. App is as useless as their website
I tried buying tickets through the aeromexico site and app several times over several days and it was always broken. Every single time I just got a useless error message saying “your task could not be completed”. I ended up buying tickets through Delta. Now Aeromexico sent me an email saying “Due to the increase in passengers this season, we recommend that you check-in through digital channels”, but again the aeromexico website and app are both broken and I can’t checkin through delta. “Please arrive four hours prior to your flight to checkin.” I won’t waste my time with aeromexico again.

Slow app that doesn’t let you check in
I downloaded the app because I kept getting the same error using a browser while trying to check into my flight. The error message had absolutely no information so there was no way to know what the problem was or any way to reference. I was not allowed to board my flight because I checked in last, due to my inability to check-in online or using the app. I was booted from my flight even after paying extra to reserve my seat. If you’re downloading this app to check in, save your time and data.

Years behind
I’m surprised to see so many good reviews of this app. It’s illogical and has only basic features. Check your points status beyond what you have accumulated (not how) requires additional log ins without using face lD. I don’t keep that information handy. Changing seats seems to be limited. United has been doing theses things plus more (bag status, update list, flight status, boarding pass from launch screen, etc) for a long time. AM, if these things exist in your app, make them easier. It’s time to catch up.

Non functional app with lots of errors
You would think that Aeromexico would have a functional app with the crazy fare price that they charge but no, the app is horrible. I couldn’t book my flight on the app, I had to do it all through the website. I tried to at least check in through the app and not even that works. I kept getting an error message every time I tried to go to the next screen. I made an account when booking my flight on the website, and the app doesn’t even let me sign in to my account. What’s the point of the app? Don’t bother using the app, just use the website.

APP IS USELESS
The app freezes and crashes very often no matter the selection I make. I tried booking through the app and it would crash and I had to start over. Unfortunately I experienced this 3 times and then decided to book the flight through Delta. I tried to check in and the app just froze. So, again I tried it 3 times and then decided to try Delta. I was able to check in through the Delta app effortlessly for my AeroMexico flight. It’s sad that such a large and established airline doesn’t have an app that functions properly. Just horrible Sadly the website is not much better. ZERO STARS

Crashes a lot
For some unknown reason the app crashes a lot. Also, I couldn’t get my e-passes from Delta because my first flight was with Aeromexico. Weird and confusing because on my way to Mexico my flight started with delta and ended with Aeromexico. When the app crashes, I have so sign in again and it doesn’t recognize my password. I have to enter it a few times to make it work. Fix the app people! Make sure that Delta boarding passes are able to be downloaded on your app as well.

3rd rate functionality
3rd rate app. Rarely functioned properly when searching for my trip for check-in purposes. When it found my itinerary, it crashed repeatedly when attempting to upgrade my seats. It was able to charge my credit card for the upgrade but would not allow me to select seats. Instead of defaulting back to my original seat selection, it placed me in the last row. Later, when I tried to add boarding passes to my iPhone wallet, it would not work. This prevented me from accessing my CBX pass for which I had prepaid, forcing me to purchase another at full price.

By far the worst airline app ever
This app NEVER works properly. Something as simple as checking in doesn’t work. My husband is in Mexico and can’t get the app to work on his phone. So I tried mine same thing. Never fear their website is just as crappy. Every time I try to log on using either method it just keeps asking me to enter my reservation or ticket number. Neither works even though I can see the trip displayed. Trying to check in using that just gives an error. Fix your sites. Just a shame the airline is pretty good but adding stress to a traveler just doesn’t make it weigh out.

Worst app ever
This has never been a functional app. However, this last update is the worst ever. Check in doesn’t work at all, you go through all the process and then it says that “your boarding pass is in progress and will be available shortly” and then check in is not registered and the boarding pass never comes. I paid for seats and since I couldn’t get my check in done, they were already taken. So I have to seat at the back of the plane after having paid for an AM Plus seat I didn’t get. Also other things don’t work. Bad, bad, bad.

Slow and buggy
This app has been slow and buggy for more than 2 years now for me and it is frustrating to use and navigate around. Especially when it comes to modifying my flight, I always get an “Unable to establish connection” error no matter whether I’m on home WiFi or outside using data. Their browser website is the same in not letting me modify my flight without going thru a problem with the page not loading or the site simply not letting me log in.

Basically Nonfunctional
The app really isn’t useable. Several of the tabs just don’t work. It will never accept that you verified your email. Seems like there’s a glitch with dates, so sometimes it shows flights already taken and won’t show upcoming. Printed me a boarding pass that said flight boarded ten minutes after departure. Seems like developers haven’t worked on or tested anything. I can’t imagine anyone actually needing the limited functionality that does work. Had to use the site to do anything, so really it was just taking up space on the phone.

The app is terrible
I have flown with AeroMexico many times and I love it. However, their app is horrible. It only allows you to book a flight, but takes forever in loading the available flights. After booking your flight, if you want to check your flight status, the app will simply not load. It never shows me my upcoming trips and hardly loads your check in. I love Aeromexico, but their app needs to change!! I have updated it so many times but nothing is ever fixed.

The app is fine, customer service on the other hand is horrible.
My recent flight with Aeromexico from LAX to Mexico City was not the most pleasant experience. The aircraft itself was clean and comfortable, but interactions with flight attendants and check-in staff left me feeling disappointed. Flight attendants and check-in staff seem to have this ‘polite’ yet arrogant attitude that feels unnecessary and somewhat condescending. I understand that working in the airline industry can be difficult, but this does not excuse their behavior, more so when you do not give them attitude or have a disrespectful attitude.

Worst check-in user experience
The app is extremely slow and takes a long time to load. It makes no difference if I have fast internet. I also had issues checking in and gaining access to my boarding pass after I checked in. I originally paid for a seat, but when I checked in, it said I didn't have one yet and would be randomly seated at the airport. This was frustrating, and I would not recommend either the airline or the app.

Great airline, horrid app.
I adore Aeroméxico for domestic flights within México, but the app is a mess. Every other week it appears require an update, and even then it can be terribly finicky about loading your reservation, much less purchasing one. The website has problems too, but fewer than the app, but you’ll need the app to add boarding passes to the wallet in your phone. TLDR; the best domestic airline in México, with an app and website that both need a reboot.

One of the worst apps
The app has always been slow and constantly crashes. Many times you can’t pay at all. Other times tells you your payment didn’t go through and it does. Or that your check in was not done and then you find your boarding pass. Sometimes it just stays “thinking” until you close it. Very disappointing! I hope you really fix it one and for all. You keep asking for updates but it stays the same.

Not good
This upgraded app is not working well. I’ve been trying to add a trip, check in and administer a trip to no avail. Keep showing an error message instructing me to contact the Call Center. I did and was a waste of time as they said that everything with my trip is ok and that I have to go to the counter to deal with it.

The app has a problem that does not display boarding tickets
While a layover in Mexico City I had my boarding tickets in the app, but the app stopped showing the second ticket so I could not go through connecting flights. I had to step outside and print my ticket and go through security checkpoint for a second time. Also the app, could not connect to Apple Wallet. Therefore I was not able to send my boarding tickets there. Overall, I like Aeromexico, but this time I have to say the app needs improvement, come on guys, having a boarding ticket is a basic user scenario.

App keeps crashing day before my flight
The app has worked just fine since I booked my flight but when I went to check in this morning, it kept crashing and is still crashing hours later, forcing me to check in online. While I don’t mind checking in online, I’d prefer if the app worked on my travel days, and having an app makes it much easier to check flight status. Please fix this issue!

Terrible App and check in experience
App was good for a few days. Then auto close whenever i click on it. Couldn't check in at the app, online at the website, at the kiosk, and check in line was still closed and i am 3 hours away from my flight. Yes it's 3 hours but i need to check in all my luggage pass security Then look for correct gate in foreign language. When i asked When check in will be open the person replied he doing speak English.... Dont wanna fly AeroMexico again in the future if possible. I was in Peru.

Bare minimum functionality
The app barely works. If you manage to get your boarding pass to display TAKE A SCREENSHOT! The app randomly removes my trips from my itinerary and when I re-enter the info, half the time I cannot pull up my boarding pass. I’ve also experienced issues with the app displaying the wrong gate, thankfully in a small airport but could have missed my flight if there was some distance between what the app told me and where the plane actually was.

App is pointless
I have taken 4 Aeromexico flights and I’ve not been able to check-in on the app or the website for any of these flights. Tomorrow I have a 7am flight and since I can’t check-in early, I have to arrive at the airport 3 hours in advance rather than 2. The app is pointless. I can’t upload my travel docs, I can’t edit my traveler info. It just always has an error message. And now that I have to leave the apt at 3am for a 7am flight, this will also be the last time I fly with Aeromexico.

Worst airline app ever
I have never used a worse airline app. Their system is down almost every day. Constantly I can’t log in. Every time I try to manage my flight the app crashes. You can’t log in using your email address. I always have to look for my account number to log in. It’s ridiculous. Finally I get checked in for my flight and can’t use electronic check in in Denver. So I printed my ticket from my computer then took a picture of it and used that for everything. So stupid.

App glitches and loops around forever
The app is super slow, and glitches out every minute. It never shows me what is missing or what is wrong and just loops around while I spend hours trying to check in. Turns out going to the airport everyone had this problem and no one was able to check in via the app. The flight seats are comfortable though. Aeromexico NEEDS to reinvest in their business, and hire competent engineers to make the app easier and more user friendly. It is 2023 for Christ sake not 2001.

The worse check in user experience
It seems like check in is going to be a breeze until you get to seat selection. You can't see which other seats are available and if you try to change your seat, it gets stuck. If you manage to make it to the end, it gets permanently stuck processing your check-inrequest. Terrible user experience (their website is even worse!). You simply CAN'T check in.

Cant scroll screen down
I just dowloaded the app, its asks for password/accnt number andpassword. Below it says create an account, but as soon as you untug your finger from scrolling down, the screen goes back up to email/password. I cant scroll down to create account.

Booking payment
I was booking my flight but every time I tried to pay the screen froze. I tried few times. I finally had to call customer service and the agent helped me to finish the transaction. She was very nice and knew what she was doing. I hope somebody check on that problem with the app.

Issues When Traveling from USA
The app is great when traveling within Mexico or from Mexico, but the alliance with Delta for flights in the US makes it impossible to do anything with your flight. No way to see the seating chart, see the upgrade list, or manage anything about the reservation. It directs you to Delta’s app, who then directs you to the airport or gives a message saying “oops.”

iOS 15 iPhone 13 pro: App crashes constantly checkin Changes seats for no reason on revisiting Purchased a bag, my credit card was charged, then it has me registered as 0 bags again and asked me to pay again (which would have charged me again had I done it) Pop up appears that makes user Abandon the checkin flow and makes you restart Inconsistent data entry (and re entry) Super slow (website is 20x faster??) Sometimes end up on blank page and have to abandon checkin and start over Took me 20 mins before I decided to just use mobile web which was functional at least Worst airline (and maybe In general worst) app experience I’ve ever seen as an extremely frequent global and domestic traveller and iOS app developer Log those defect tickets above…

Total price upfront
I love using this app, perhaps I love Aeromexico in general. Thumbs up for Aeromexico flights; although when I go to booking all it’s fine yet it’s a big window to keep improving the app but something I would love to see is the preference that once my round trip is selected, is to see the total amount, then go to the information for the traveler. Other than that is a good app.

I try to sign in with my email and it says to sign in with my rewards number and once I do that it says that is unidentified. Can’t imagine all the other issues this app has.

Slow, unreliable
This is the worst app in the industry. It is slow, often times it hangs up, functions don’t work. For example on this flight the link to download CBX pass wouldn’t work. Then one hour later it worked. I always download my boarding pass before the airport because once at the airport the app hangs and I can’t show the pass.

Lowest quality flight app ever
I can’t believe this app made it through apple’s checks. It crashed literally 10 times in a row when i downloaded it. Finally got it working, then can not check in! It sits there with a greyed out continue button saying “fill out everything for current passenger”, when I have green ticks everywhere and everything is filled out. Literally less than useless since i have wasted 30 mins trying to check in.

Not a very user-friendly app
There are many errors in the app. Including poor, use of color to know where boxes need to be checked. Additionally, to pay for booked flights very difficult to get done. I tried four times eventually had to quit and then had to use my computer.

App keeps crashing
I’ve been in a trip for a couple weeks and haven’t been able to use the app at all. It keeps crashing as soon as I open it. Sometimes it lasts 5 seconds, sometimes only 2. Unbelievable that an airline this size has this issue with their app. I’ve uninstalled and installed and same problem persists. I guess I’m going to have to wait until I get to the airport and hope they didn’t overbook the flight.

App has tons of issues!
Worst airline app I’ve used: - it does not save your info so every time I have a new trip I have to enter the info (e.g. contact phone) - the passport scanning function does not work at all (why even offer it in the app?) - it does not let me register for a flight (after I fill all my info, all green check marks, it does not let me continue) - it does not provide online passes (at least internationally from US to Mexico) - it sends you a pdf that you have to print!! - it does not let me continue filling my info if the passport is less than full 6 months of validity (though in my flight yesterday it let me fill all the info and register) I generally don’t write app reviews but this time the app is so badly written that I had to.

Horrible App
I am writing this review because Ive have been waiting patiently for a fix of this problem but it just doesn’t come. When I try to put my club premier account it does the same thing and always says there is connection right now please try later. This also happens with the website in English but the funny thing is that it never happens with the spanish one. Please fix because I would like to use this app. After three updates and still not working!!! 🤦‍♂️🤨😞

Forced updates on data
I sure wish it would give the option of updating when convenient. I used it to check out a trip, and when I tried to get back in after two minutes, I couldn’t do anything without updating. There should be an option to keep using it for at least a day until you can find wifi to update instead of forcing me to use my limited data to update.

This app is an absolute disaster. Couldn’t retrieve my trip after booking through a third party. Had to jump through circles just to select the seat. Received error message after error message after error message. Received countless “error, please call the call center” messages just navigating the app. Things that are so simple to do on other major airlines apps is an impossible task on this app. Absolutely horrendous, glitchy, inconsistent bit of tech

can’t tell if it’s a worthless, nonfunctional app or
…if it’s just a reflection of a evil, criminal organization, which will steal your baggage payments, flights, and entire payment, and seems to spend all its energy trying to. NO, you can’t check in, find your gate or do anything using this app, although it says you can. Chat tells you to wait but never answers. I tried to verify my email about 20 times, it never took. Delightful.
