Excellent information!

What I learned while watching multiple shows on your app, is that, holy crap, people are atrocious! There were SO MANY shows indicating how multiple nations have even been ENDLAVED. Like the Jewish people, who are STILL being persecuted. Thank you for your wide range of information. You really made me think outside my own space. 😉❤️

AHC

I stumbled upon this channel by accident (don’t watch TV much). But as someone who loves WWII, this channel and app is fantastic. Anything that strives to respect the men and women of our armed forces and tell their story, I’ll give 5 stars. It would be great if there was a way to download episodes for viewing when mobile device is in airplane mode or out of cell service.

No longer working with TV provider Directv

This app use to work fine until the latest update. Now it’s signed me out and it will not recognize my TV provider Directv and because of that I cannot watch any shows period. Directv said it’s on the developers end and not their end. Also started noticing that shows use to be in this app are no longer available thru the app and you have to sign up & pay extra for discovery plus. This is happening with all the Discovery Channel & it’s networks.

Fix log in problem

Every time I open app to watch live TV I must log in ( even if I check box stay logged in) its very annoying. I use a strong password of 16 charters of all types and it's a pain to type on my ipad. Most of the time I don't even bother. It's even worse when I log in and get a message that the show i want to watch can not be live streaming.

Excellent Information

These programs contained on the channel is so vital to understanding who we are and whom we have become. The barbarism as well as the goodness of mankind is shown. Technology that has made us safer as well as made warfare more destructive perhaps in the hope that another world war will happen. Excellent programming in my opinion.

Way to many commercials.

In my experience when using an channel app like his one the commercials are usually way less then if I were watching it actually on tv but this app shows commercials every 4 to 6 mins. Its hard to watch sometimes. Besides that it’s fine.

Love AHC, needs subscription option

Please consider a stand-alone subscription option 🙏🏻. I’m not going to buy a cable bundle just for AHC, but I would absolutely pay to unlock all content in this app. Until then thanks for having some free episodes.

I like it but I don’t like having to pay a subscription to unlock everything. Just have everything already unlocked and only lock stuff out if this channel is not in your channel package on your tv

Can't log in to cable provider

For we'll over a week, I've been unable to log in to my cable provider. When I try to, I get the spinning circle as if it's loading but it never brings up the login screen. I'd be happy to change the rating to 5 stars when it's fixed finally.

Can’t Login!

I haven’t been able to login in a week or two. It shouldn’t take that long to fix the issue. I gave it 1 Star bc I cant login, once the login issue is fixed AHC GO will go right back to 5 stars. This app and channel is 5 stars all day long. Please fix.

Nice... but

It’s great to find all the shows I want to watch here based on previews when on the “regular @ TV. But I hate having to sit through the commercials on the app. Thanks Xfinity.

My AHC app is probably my favorite app. I easily get lost in the various and massive content that is offered.

What is up?

11/13 and tried to watch AHC online. It gave me a message that said anyone who watches through their paid tv service cannot watch. What’s that about? I watch it through Directv and have never had an issue.

Still Broken on DISH Network

I've sent in but reports. I pay for AHC with DISH Network. And yet despite it saying I'm signed in, content still says I'm unauthorized because I'm not a subscriber with my Pay TV service provider.

This app do not open when you tab on the AHC icon. I once deleted the app and reinstalled it and it worked one time. Now nothing

It's Good, so far.

Saw, it was made available to down load from App Store to IPAD. Only needed 21MB space. So far, so good. Sign on with Media Provider with no issue. I like the Historical documentaries. It's great source for research and education. I will continue to use it.

WHY DID YOU TAKE AWAY THE OPTION FOR APPLE TV

So until recently all the channels were in one main app -and all the Discovery related channels were included. I was excited enough about this to use it as a "pro" when I was recently considering switching cable/internet provider. I switched to PlayStation Vue (a great move anyway-I love PSVUE) and enjoyed so much having access to Amer Hero and Destination Amer content at a time that was convenient for me. Then all the channels got divided and put in their own (Apple TV) apps-BUT NOT REALLY-there is now absolutely no option to view AH or DA content on Apple TV (mirroring maybe- but a hassle and not as reliable). WHY WOULD THEY MINIMIZE THEIR SERVICE AND CALL IT A POSITIVE MOVE? I have tried to contact customer support just to see if maybe it's a WIP and an app for these two channels would be forthcoming but I can get no response. So -until I can watch ALL their channels equally (channels I am still paying the same amount for in my tv package) I am giving all of the discovery related apps 2 stars.

Too many force closes

I love the content and really wish I could enjoy the app more, but the force closes just completely ruin it! The FAQ section on the app recommended uninstalling and reinstalling. I did this several times and it still hasn't fixed the issue! I hope they release an update soon that solves the problem.

Could be better

Got this app to watch war stories since this is the ONLY place they are published. Unfortunately after watching the two 15 minute episodes, this app has just been taking up space on my home page. No new war stories in two months? Yet the commercial shows lots of them. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong...

Love the channel. HATE THE APP!!

This app would be wonderful except for one thing. The live streaming is awful!!! It does not matter the quality of my connection. Wifi or LTE. Even at home where I get over 100Mbps and no one else is using the connection the live stream just freezes over and over. Then I need to back out and go back the live stream only for it to happen 5 seconds later.

Please fix the bug

Ever since the app split off as a separate icon to download I have lost all of my sound when watching live tv. It worked fine before. It was a 5 star app but with no sound I must give it a 1. Even the contact us/send feedback part doesn't work so I must resort to saying this here. Thanks if you can fix it. I will give it a 5 if you can.

This app is epic, great, but i will ask you guys to add more of your shows like "nuremberg nazi judgement day" and "nazis evolution of evil" and "natural born outlaws" etc, those were really good seasons and PLEASE- GET RID OF THE Long advertisments, at least have a skip button for them. (UPDATE BELOW) Update: the app is crashing alot and turning off captions isnt working

Needs work

Could use bandwidth controls, not everybody has unlimited data. Also the addition of airplay capability would help a lot for people who don't have access to the TV logon such as those with DirecTV now
