It was exactly the type

Of the information, I have needed in my current endeavors. I discovered this app when I was “discovering” the internet. It almost got lost among many others, but I had already started signing up for the course I am taking (which I have rediscovered recently). I have been floppin’ around the internet for some time now, attempting to navigate different platforms with absolutely no structure or skills. When I opened the app, it went straight to a course that has a lot of valuable little tidbits of knowledge which I have been desperately lacking. I feel like my knowledge base has already improved vastly in just two days.

Great jump start into things!

For free, i cant complain! easy to follow modules and testing to get your certification, which does come at a cost!!! depending on how you want it, youre looking at a little over $25 to a little under $100 to get it. that is PER course certification. I dont know how credible these are yet, but its nice to have to show you did something at least. only thing i didnt like was how particular you have to make your answers or they mark it wrong. so be warned! i used "anti-freeze" instead of "antifreeze" and got marked wrong for it. that and i wish the coverage of courses covered more per topic so the price of getting these certs wasnt going to break me after completing all i intend to. bright side is it makes for a short course and test to have to do so if you only need it for some specific parts in a career, then its perfect without having to do everything else you dont need with it, as well.

Horrible first time experience

I have been in the process of trying to get a hold of someone for the last three days and every day it keeps telling me someone from Allison will be available tomorrow. There’s no one available today. I was in the middle of finishing my assessment to receive my certificate and was on question 19 of 25 and have gotten every question right up to that point and all my preassessment test received 100% on. Every time I would get to question 19 it would freeze not letting me proceed and submit for that answer. I would close out of it and go back in would not finish. I’d have to take the assessment all over again. I did five or six times and still the same. I’ve reached out for multiple days now and not getting any results from anyone besides an automated response of, someone will be available tomorrow. This is ridiculous and a horrible experience. I’ve had uninstalled and will be looking for a different route to take for my certificates and certifications from now on.

Alison might just help me out

I wanted to get into something new within my career itself. And honestly I can say that I found out about Alison. And I noticed that I have certifications in the beauty industry as is and those certifications help me get the jobs I need to help take care of me and my daughter. I am a proud graduate of Alison and I would highly recommend anyone who is looking or seeking information or just to boost up their careers or business this will be actually good for anyone who is looking to do so. I know that Alison may certifications may not be universal but aye listen it will help us get some where in life !!! Thank you Alison !!!

I love this, may need a little bug fix tho

I found this app and I really like this! It has many different courses to try for free, only with ads, which is great. My only issues are that when I search for courses it’ll recommend to me using the little questionnaire, it shows up as nothing. (It also glitches a little so sometimes it wouldn’t let me go on to the next question) I also would like to suggest that the questionnaire lets the user pick more than 2-3 options rather than only 2 or 3, so some of their interests may be left out.

I’m super into self learning and studying at a reasonable pace at all times. Work break, lunch break, waiting for appointments and so on. Feels like I’m utilizing my time more effectively to further my goals and pursue a higher education without going to expensive trade schools or colleges. Very easy to navigate. Now sadly my only draw back with such a convenient app and way to learn are minor bugs. Sometimes it'll not bookmark where I am at in the lesson when I get back to it and I have to remember or scroll to my section. Overall I love this app. Plus I am not a bot. Just a normal soon to be father learning and trying to further my credentials for the future

Online Courses

Straight forward user interface. Topic descriptions accurate. Course assessments are a combination of, both, multiple choice and fill in the blanks. I like how it allows you to search back through course section to reread before submitting final answers. Just don’t click review button if it’s not the final grade you’d like on your course exam before proceeding. Overall, I would recommend this program to others who are looking to acquire new knowledge or refresh on a topic.

BEST Learning App

I have finished several courses that have helped lead to a promotion at work. Additionally, the model of completing the course for free and purchasing the certificate upon completion has kept me motivated and in track to actually FINISH my courses. When I paid for Coursera monthly, I didn’t finish a SINGLE course. ALISON gives me real motivation. Additionally the courses I’ve taken leave me with tangible things I can apply immediately to my life and career. I LOVE this app and I’m so grateful to have found it!!

Education at your fingertips!

I love having access to all of these courses. My review is for the app though. There seems to be no way to go back into search results without having to start your search all over again. And maybe it’s just the app but I also cannot figure out how to “favorite” courses for the future. A bit frustrating for the user (me) but overall the app is a nice start. Thank you devs!

Diplomas work!

This is a great resource for learning. As it is very universal on the countries that you’ll need, obviously you can always do additional education within your state country, etc. but this is a great starting point for certificates that you can submit to your employers as well as put on your resumes, I have quite a few and I’ve gotten great feedback and I have companies that utilize these certificates or diplomas for.

Actually Free

This app is actually free to learn from. After getting scammed by others; I found this one. The only time you pay is for a copy of the certificate or diploma. They do charge in Euros so keep that in mind when you pay. Also, you can access your account on your phone or computer. A few courses are not available on mobile version though. Still; I’m enjoying this app.

So far, Alison seems too good to be true. I really like the courses available and the depth explained under the courses and careers. I agree with another review here, it would be super helpful if we were able to “save” a career we’re working towards and take courses based off of the skills and experience necessary to reach our goal, as opposed to simply “rating” the career. I’m wondering if the premium membership is worth it…. I’m starting a course today and will update my rating as I learn more about Alison.

Free education courses

I love this app!! It’s super easy to use. Covers a variety of subjects or hobbies. Love the quiz at the end of each chapter. I would recommend that the “ certificates” be free instead of charging $39. Overall I love how much I have learned and grown in my career and personal growth since using this app! Super age friendly as well. My kids age 10-14 and my mother age 69 can ll use this app with ease.

I’m new to this website! But so far it’s pretty good! You have to pass tho to get the certificate! I failed 3 times! But I kept challenging myself and pass! Now looking forward for my certification in the mail! Thinking about taking up another course with them And tell my family/ friends! Congratulations to me! Work 💪🏽🙏🏾😊

Almost completely accessible

This is a good app, and the classes are good and interesting. The classes themselves are accessible. But, the quizzes are not. Dragging and dropping answers into a box, makes this inaccessible. That is not helpful to the blind. Instead of dragging and dropping. Perhaps you can add checkboxes instead. That would be a lot better. I’m taking Aromatherapy for beginners, or something like that. I can’t remember the exact name of the course.

Never stop learning!

This program is very good for personal interest type learning, rather than formal education. Explore new topics, or check your memory about topics you’ve learned previously. This is a much more educational alternative to many of the common activities on your phone or computer. In certain localities, completion of this coursework can be used to fulfill educational or work requirements for participation in government programs.

First time user

So far the course I am taking ( management/ supervisory skills) is easy to read and offers practical resources within today's working environment . However due to the low economy it would be beneficial to allow a lower cost for certificates/ diplomas. Most people who are even considering taking online courses for the most part is because of the declining financial economy.

Great app but needs a few tweaks to make it perfect.

I love the app and all of the courses it offers but if the devs read this please add a back button while searching and please save recent searches in the search bar. I strongly believe these two features would greatly improved the quality of life of the app.

Very good and useful

This is a awesome app. I love it. It’s helping me get into my career trade. Very useful for when you are trying to get hired into a new trade. Not expensive for the certification at the end! And you can study at your own pace! I love it and thank you to the people who made this happen! 10 out of 10 for sure!!!

The only suggestion, sections dedicated to specific careers: maybe a career quiz, road map, themed courses which are easy to throw together and bundle up brilliantly for resume and website. The courses are very informative for and profession

I enjoy learning new study materials. The lesson plans are very informative and knowledgeable about each course that I have taken. It is definitely a plus if your trying out something new, or just wanted to advance your skills set. You cannot go wrong.

The best online learning platform i have ever seen so far

This app is really great and wonderful. I will suggest that the app should be able to do auto save of lesson the user is taking to avoid skipping as as result of going back to the beginning or the stages left behind again. Aside that, the platform is really wonderful.

No pressure!

I love that the classes are free and do not hold you to time frames; other than what you set yourself. I love that they are readily available at anytime, with no pressure on finishing. I work full time in the school system so this app and all they have to offer gives me an opportunity to keep up on classroom/student study.

So easy!

Wow! I finally did what I always wanted to do. I’ve been working on cars since 2021 and finally I after that, I was ready to at least get my basic mechanic certification. Easy to use, I’ve already got a diploma and a certification through Alison, I’m currently working on another class and plan to do more following! Not bad in pricing either! Alison app - OSHA Forklift Training

This training module and app overall has been easy to use and navigate. I would recommend it to any person looking to bulk up their knowledge and certifications and a specific job field because that’s what business owners are looking for more so than a college degree per se, at least in a career field, like construction and manual labor.

Efficient, varied & thorough courses. Easy a quick to get certified!

Diverse & thorough courses made (mostly) to easily to complete & earn a certificate in as little as 1.5-3hrs!! I earned 4 certificates in one day with a little focus and determination! Now I am able to stack my certification section on my resume catered specifically for the jobs I want!

Understanding Risk and Reward Finance

I am impressed by the simplicity this guy offered in explaining how finance, risk & reward and capital works in society. I was taught some don’ts and I walked away with some dos. I can’t believe I started and finished this cert from start to finish in less than 3 hours. I recommend this course to everyone.

This app is jam packed full of things my son and I find interesting. Thank you for the time and effort to put this information in an easy to access and read format. For those that are auditory learners, this may not be the best option for you, but j have just begun the Solar Power course.

I love the fact that I can pick up my phone when I've got a few free moments and select something to improve my life/world. There's a multitude of offerings; a gallery guaranteed to satisfy your curiosities or fulfill the need to further educate yourself. Exceptional app!

Alison Training

Overall a good app. Seems to remember your place between sessions. Better than the PC version as the PC version makes you wait 6 seconds while ads display so the smart phone version avoids that. Would be nice if there was an audio version of the training I could listen to in the car or while riding a bike.

I was trying to buy my diploma before I finished my course thinking that I was paying for the course. I passed my tested and received to buy my diploma but it already took money off my card due to the pending transaction before I finished it. It’s saying to buy it but it took the money off my card already. Help please

Biology course

I’m enjoying this course. I’ve learned quite a bit already. I do wish that vocabulary words were explained in more detail, or by giving a relatable example. The material is laid out in a logical manner for easy progression to the next subject discussed. I believe this course will be very beneficial in the next steps in my studies.

Wow great app!!!

There is no app better than this one!!! You can get free diplomas with just answering a few questions and boom there you have a free diploma. There are things like biology, literature, and math etc!!! 100% recommendations and there are even certificates for people who just want the experience.

Nice app

Great courses with professional teachers! Enjoyed my course. The app does get ads that do not allow you to log into the course, as it freezes, therefore having to log out and repeat the login process. Other then that, it’s a nice app.

Good App

So, I like the app, it's very easy to get around it and to go into the courses. Very user friendly, my only problem with it, the reason it's 4 stars, is that my progress doesn't really get saved, I have to skip to the place I left off when I exited the app. But aside from that it's great so far.

Bug issues

The app keeps crashing every time I tried to open a course. I had uninstalled it last week because I was having technical issues with it but it was different from what I'm experiencing right now I uninstalled it and I couldn't find it in the App Store reinstall it up until today. I tried using it again same thing even worse it's not even last second before it crashes.
