I Can Honestly Say
All the problems other users have been having I haven’t experienced. I got the app through my Apple TV signed up for the free trial period & I didn’t have any problems, there is a good plethora of Urban movies and TV shows, & New Series. My only thing right now is to be able for the next video to play right after the last video, when watching a series. Other than that I have no complaints at this time.

Content is old
Let me start by saying I love this app and everything it stands for!! The main thing that’s keeping you guys from getting 5 stars from em is there just isn’t enough content. I cancelled my subscription the first time around because I had watched everything I felt was worth watching. I came back about a year later and there had been a few new shows/movies added. Came back another year later and a few more. You guys gotta keep up with the times! There are so many talented black writers and producers just waiting to get their feet wet. Give those people a platform! Also I can’t stress this enough 🗣if you’re gonna have 6 episode series u might not want to wait 3 years for season 2 to come out. You guys could be so much better if you added content up to date more frequently. I mean, it’s nice to take a trip down memory lane with the old tv shows, movies, and stage plays but u gotta give us something we can’t get on our jailbroken fire sticks. We already have to pay subscription for everything under the sun so give me a good reason to add yet another $5 subscription to my monthly budget.

Disappointed
I’m not here to put anyone down, but simply put... I am disappointed with this app. I really wanted to try it out after seeing something that peaked my interest for using this app. I was unable to watch ANYTHING. I was stuck on the subscription page after I clicked on the movie I wanted to watch. I already had a subscription along with the 7-day free trial. After reading more reviews, I’m glad that I wasn’t the only one who had this issue. Fortunately for me I came out on a better end than others due to the free trial. I wouldn’t recommend using this app, not to mention there was review about this app selling information?!? Not sure how true but there is a button in the settings that says “Do not sell my information”. If this app was in better condition I’d be happy to recommend this app to others, but I no longer feel comfortable or safe using this app due to the possible selling of personal information.

Commit diasporans! Stop your 7-day trial dumping
As a Alkebulan diasporan, I’m glad to patronize this streaming service by us for us. I have no issues logging in and signed up from my Roku tv! I Downloaded app on my iPhone 6S+ later and signed in with no issues. The content over the years has improved and grew which is good to see. I had 2 memberships and never had any issues during my first year when they first launched. I’m glad to be back after buckling down on my personal debt freedom plan. It’s nice to unwind and catch a flix with people who look like you after a long day. If we do not support each other, who will? If BLM, support a black owned business today and everyday. Hypocrisy doesn’t look good on anyone.

I’ve signed up and paid for subscription but cannot play! Paid monthly subscription of $6.99 for nothing because the app won’t allow me to play. It keeps getting stuck on a screen asking for subscription when I’m already subscribed and money has already been taken out of my bank account. Then when I clicked support all I got is an email saying they have nothing to do with Apple subscription. Then why is your information on the app under “support” if you cannot “support” anyone... if you so called have nothing to do with Apple subscriptions which is the very app your company obviously put out on the “Apple App Store” that I subscribed to which doesn’t work. And why is the app selling people’s information wth is that about? I selected that you don’t do therefore that is against privacy act. I feel very deceived and I want my money back!

HORRIBLE PLAYBACK
I really enjoy some of the shows on this app, however the shows ALWAYS crash mid episode and I have to exit out the app and start the episode over again. And it doesn’t even pick up where I left off so I have to fast forward and try to find where I was at during the episode. I finally finished season one of HUSH and decided that I don’t want the subscription anymore. But now that HUSH has a season two, I decided to try again and the problem went from the videos crashing to the videos won’t even play. Some error message keeps popping up on anything that I try to watch. I wish I could upload videos or photos to show what I’m talking about. Like what a waste of money! I normally don’t leave reviews but I’m super irritated over this situation, I want to be reimbursed or given my month back. Just horrible! Do better allblk!

It’s sad that whenever your dealing with a black own product it usually falls short of consumer standards ! I gave this a try and of course needed up cancelling ! It’s not worth it data base is limited and this is the response I received when I ran into issues with watching shows on the platform , keep in. Ind I am the only person using my account ! “We're sorry to hear of this trouble, the number of concurrent streams per account may vary from platform to platform and from title to title, and may also depend on technical specifications (e.g., data caching), but as of today, ALLBLK generally allows no more than four concurrent streams per account. ​ As It is and will always be the case the amount of concurrent streams ALLBLK allows is at ALLBLK's discretion and may change without notice.”

I hope I don’t have any issues
I swear i’m rooting for us (POC) I just signed up for this app . I love the content my husband and I own a film company been looking for a steaming service to advance our work. Hope you guys don’t disappoint , the reviews are making me proceed with caution. I really want to keep this app , but I’m seeing a lot of bad reviews from last year and of this October 2020 .Come on developer get it together. Our ppl can’t support if you aren’t providing quality service . Hope when my trail finishes we have no issues. Appreciate the content hope i can just pay for the full year with out any issues . Good place to watch African American movies but...
This is the hardest app/website to login to and to cancel. I did the free trial and if I decided to keep the account, it was supposed to charge me $4.99 for each month after. I’d never planned to keep watching after the trial, cause I just wanted to see the series Monogamy. So when my trial was up, I tried to log back in and it wouldn’t let me, thus charging me the $4.99. I eventually had to reset my password like 30 times, to cancel my subscription and I complained and eventually got my money back, too. I did the trial at the end of November 2018 and canceled it in December 2018. I’m complaining now, because here I am, in February 2019, finding out that they have been charging me $6.99 ($7.50, with tax), for three months now (December, January and February). I reset my password again, just to make sure of my account status and just like I thought, it says canceled and no more payments should be charged to me. Apps like this shouldn’t exist until they know what they’re doing and how not to charge ppl that have already canceled their subscriptions. I did however enjoy the selections of movies and I loved the series that I initially subscribed for the free trial, for. But the money thing, is an issue that needs to be fixed, ASAP.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!
My friend told me about this app because I am in love with MY PEOPLE and truly believe in supporting black artist!! This app has increased my enjoyment of movies and series. To see predominately all black cast on the screen makes me feel so comfortable and proud to finally see US unapologetically on film. To know that there are black directors, writers and producers responsible for creating these great films is truly inspiring and recognition worthy. I have been telling people all about this app and I look forward to watching more of the divine talent on screen from beautiful melanin actors/actresses.

Paying for nothing
I’ve been experiencing the same issues I see everyone else has been experiencing. I’ve been paying for this app through Apple of course for a few months and Im unable to use my app. I’ve contact support on both ends Apple tells me they see my payments but I need to contact the developer to assist with restoring my purchase, I’ve contacted the developer and they’re telling me the see my subscription hasn’t been paid. I’ve submitted screenshots of my purchase invoice screenshots of my messages showing my subscription is paid for until the next following month, and STILL no resolution. This issue needs to be corrected!!!! I would hate being unable to support these shows and movies just because this company rather take our money and never fix the issues they cause!!

Good app worth the price. Only a couple tech kinks
I enjoy the content on this app. I find the app functional but there are a two technical tweaks that I would like to see worked out. When using the app from my fire stick the screen can just go into a screen saver mode right in the middle of an episode. Also when it’s time to play another episode some play automatically and others take you back to the home page. It would be nice to see a function similar to Netflix where I can click to go to the next episode at the end of the current episode I just finished watching.

7 Day Free Trial
Why is it that I cannot fond a link to subscribe other than the free trial? One thing that I can’t stand in advertising and marketing are the “free” “trial” pitches that require all sorts of data from those interested to try out the service. For someone like me, it’s a turn off. I want honest straight forward information up front where pricing is listed on outright with no fine print feea and charges, I want a clear way to subscribe that doesn’t ask me for more information than necessary. I simply want exactly what I bargain for nothing more, nothing less. In short, I want to link and subscribe with a one time payment no games, no gimmicks no deception. Can you please direct me to advertised subscriptions where there is no “7-day free” fluff to go through.

Getting charge for no service.
I originally tried the free trial and end up canceling, I just recently signed back up because I’m looking for a variety of shows to watch since I don’t have cable anymore. I download and signed back up almost 2 weeks ago and still to this date I can actually watch anything. Every time I press play it takes me to the option of monthly or yearly subscription which I have choose over and over to stay monthly. The money has been debited from my account for the amount of 6.99 a few days ago and still can’t watch anything. This app has some serious that need to be fix. Charging customers for services not providing is wrong!! I emailed regarding the issue and no response.

The worse app ever
This app only had one thing I wanted to watch on it but I had already subscribed before I realized. I wanted to unsubscribe right away but it took me a while to figure out how. When I did finally figured it out through my phone by going to settings and unsubscribe subscription they are still taking money out of my account, I tried to do it on my phone again and it don’t show up as a subscription but yet I’m still being charged. I have tried and tried to get this app from bill me but no matter what it still charges me. The next thing is for me to go straight to my bank and have them cut this app out, which is crazy. I love this TV network. I am so great full that I can look on the screen and see people that look like me. And all the showers are relatable to our culture and the things we go through as African American people. The only thing that would be better is if we had our own internet connection to go along with it but in time we to will be able to control that too. Thanks again for creating this platform for viewers like me to enjoy.

Embarrassing garbage nationalist
The UI on this app is total garbage. I’m talking to you developers, you should be embarrassed. The app doesn’t remember what episode of what show you’re watching or know where you left off in the episode. You need to write down what you’re watching before you close the app. The search doesn’t work and captions don’t stay on. The UI is designed to be inconvenient. Looking at popular videos or anything in the Home Screen is going to give someone a seizure someday from the constant refreshing and the content changing. Loving the idea and the content. The execution is deplorable. It’s like a nationalist coded this UI and wants to inconvenience an app aimed toward minorities. Great job nationalist.

What’s with the reviews?
This is an incredible app, I’m not sure why it has so many bad reviews they obviously must be fake. The app is aesthetically pleasing the way it’s designed. && It’s very easy to maneuver through the app & easy to operate. I’m only on a 7-Day Trial but I definitely on purchasing the app afterwards because I love the show Jacqueline and Jilly and want to follow it. Great App and Movies, TV Show & Titles. If you enjoy watching AA movies and shows then this is the app for you. They have some good stuff. Don’t mind the reviews.

The shows on here are everything. I use to dredge watching tv shows because there was nothing on that had black ppl starring in them. But, since All Black hit the scene I can say without a doubt I watch everything. Show after show, movie after movie, etc. My new station out of all the streaming sites is All black. Also, did I mention: "I’m loving the new name!" All Black keep doing what you are doing. I love to see my brothers and sisters across the screen💕

App doesn’t work
I sent them this message “Hello I am having the same issue that every person has complained about on their reviews. I signed up lastnight for the trial and my bank account was charged the 0.00 to see if it’s active. Now today I am trying to sign in and it’s saying it doesn’t recognize my email or password. I don’t understand why this issue was never fixed with the UMC app”. If this is something that people will always have to deal with it’s not worth the headache bc my account for sure exist but I know when the trial date has ended they’ll charge my account the monthly fee even though it’s showing I don’t have an account which is BANANAS.

The Worst App I’ve ever tried to use
If I could put zero stars I would. First signing up it didn’t even let me create a password and when I got signed out I could not sign back in. I hit the forgot password button so I can try and create one and I never got a email to even allow me to do that. I’ve messaged support and have not heard anything back. I was able to use this app one time and haven’t been able to get back into. I actually love the movies and things that it shows. It it’s both worth the hassle of you never get into app to watch them. I’m over it and will be deleting and never downloading again. I will warn others to never download.

Really bad app
I tried to get this app for the free trial and was hoping to keep it to watch the shows I seen advertised on instagram. However, it kept saying I wasn’t logged in right after I set it up. I tried to do the forgot my password and they never sent me anything to my email. So I just canceled the app in less than an hour because it was giving me a headache. I wish I read the reviews first, but at least I didn’t lose any money. Hopefully they learn to fix all the issues because I see them replying to some, but the issues have yet to be fixed. I guess I’ll just stick with the apps I know fix their problems and issues.

Serious issue with Restoring from ITunes
This is the second time I’ve tried to used this app and tired to restore purchases via iTunes. Both times it told me I’ve restored too many times and locked me out. Then it tried to get me to buy another subscription. Lastly it billed me twice via iTunes and I had to call my Apple support to get my refund, because your customer support doesn’t respond in an expeditious fashion. This is beyond frustrating. I tried to login using my roku account and it blocked me there as well. Now I went to restore on my roku and its saying I’m still login on the app and I’ve since deleted the app. Please address my concerns via my help ticket.

I (Was) Excited About ALL BLK…
I was excited about the app ALL BLK- until realizing that they had Zero programs or movies for children, that was really disappointing and for that I decided to unsubscribe. We all know that representation matters, and as a mother of 4 children I see it first hand how necessary it is for things like an all “black” network/app. I’m constantly searching for television that can reinforce my message to them that not only are they important in this world, but also that they have movies and cartoons that celebrate this message. Please add a category for children!

I love Allblk my only complaint is my favorite show on there Kold and Windy is on season two but I cannot watch it! It shows me season two like it’s going to play but instead it plays the last episode of season one. I emailed you guys about it weeks ago. Your engineers need to get it together. Paying for the app but not recognized as being a member
I’ve been a member for years but a few months ago my access was denied although the payment is still being devoted monthly. I’ve tried contacting customer service and they say they can’t locate my account. Sent copy of receipt and heard nothing. I love the app and want to support it but as of now they are just taking money from me and I’m getting nothing for it. All I want it to watch the shows!! How hard can it be to fix this?!? Customer service /app support needs to be completed revamped is this is their normal practice!!!

WORST APP EVER- Buyer Beware
I’m so disappointed at the limited amount of movies they offer and they are all E list. To make matters worst this company is stealing out of my account. I canceled my subscription in October 2019 and they are illegally going through my bank to access 4.99 monthly. I even canceled my card and got a new one. To my surprise BOOM they took it again.. This app should be deleted from the App Store because they are trash and the quality of movies are AWFUL.. I’m taking legal action because they never answer or return my calls. I’ve been leaving messages but no reply.. BUYER BEWARE !! This is a fraudulent business

It said 7 day free trial they charged my card 10$ then I put my passcode in that I know is correct it says it’s not click on reset password link it emails u it does nothing.. no 800 number no direct email for customer service u have to scroll all the way down after all the faq to contact them and then when I finally get into the app everything I click on has an error saying sorry error with a bunch of numbers like I’m so mad so I haven’t watched anything I contacted thru the app letting them know I want it cancel I want my money back no response back yet I’m over it

Not happy at all
I signed up for a subscription paid for my month subscription the first time I tried to login using the password I made up it said invalid password, so I click the forgot password so they sent me a temporary password typed that password in it said no network found, knowing I have an excellent WiFi connection so I tried it again they sent another temporary password the same thing and then I tried for the third time and this time it said email address is not found. I don’t know what kind of foolery is going on but this app is starting to look fishy and I want my money back for my month subscription.

I’d like my money back
I decided to resubscribe to this app to check out a few shows I paid the $5.99 monthly membership and reloaded the app. NOTHING & I mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING will play every time I select a title I got a pop up telling me to select a plan to start watching so I clicked monthly membership again thinking my payment didn’t go through it charged me again and said I already have a plan yet nothing still won’t play so I got charged twice for a app that doesn’t even work and an annoying pop up telling me to pay for a membership that I already have.

Best Movie App Ever
This app is worth the subscription! I always have stuff to watch and I love the multiple categories I can watch! My only dislike is the unfinished seasons for the shows!😭Who can we contact about filming the rest of the shows?!! I need more! Double Crossed and Here We Go Again are great shows and just about every movie is great!

New to UMC and disappointed already
I just signed up for my free trial a couple of days ago. The issues with the program being watched constantly stopping and then having to go back to play it has been complained about by quite a few users. This has been a complaint for a while. The channel has alot of great movies and series but I will be cancelling after the trial if this cannot be fixed right away. There are too many other apps to watch including Bet+. Bet+ has similar content and I have never had any issues.

I purchased the year subscription a month ago, the charges showed on my credit card 1 week ago. To date I have still been unsuccessful with gaining access to the site. Every time I attempt it says no connection to the server. I am very disappointed as I was really looking forward to viewing the shows. I have attempted to re download the app, reset the password and attempted to contact customer support all to no avail. Currently I am not able to access the network and out of my money. I order to post a rate must be given. The app deserves zero stars. Signed a very upset customer!

Unable to view content
I signed up for the free trial on 5/13 and I haven’t been able to log in and view any content. I downloaded the app I went through the website and I also tried logging in on my fire stick and it won’t allow me to log in and view anything. Then when I tried to go in and unsubscribe to the content it won’t allow me it seems as if this is a scam and is a way to gain people card information. I wanted to support but the issue hasn’t been fixed. why would I pay for something I can’t use FIX THIS!

I’m subscribed to this with my cable provider but had to put it on my iPad to finish watching on the go Monogamy and a house divided is my favorite waiting for the next season....OMG way better than BET+ my only complaint is for you guys to add more than 6 episodes 😕😟other than that love everything about it your shows keep me wanting more.

I Love the app but…
My problem is when I hit cast button to play on TV the app can’t find my device it says No device available. My iphone and IPad are updated latest version. Bluetooth is on. The funny thing is the app will show up on my tv and play the trailer for the shows I want to watch but will not play actual shows. I get sound with no picture. It’s crazy the app does that. Can this annoying mishap be fix asap!! 🙁

Crashes on Certain Shows
I only did a free trial and I’ve seen enough. Too many crashes. The app seems to work fine, it’s when I want to watch something when I have an issue lol Some shows work while others force close the app. I’ve already logged out and in, deleted and added the app back, unplugged the tv and Roku for a few then plugged it back, my Roku is updated as well as the app. Save your money until they can get the app functioning consistently.

The app doesn’t work, the free trial is a scam and customer service seems to be non-existent! I read some of the reviews and like some decided to give it a try for myself. DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME or MONEY!!! All the negative feedback is correct. I downloaded the app and it never worked. I sent three emails to their customer service regarding the defective app and only received automated messages. It’s been a few weeks and still no response. My card has been charged even though I cancelled the app prior to the 7-day free trial that was offered. This app deserve ZERO STARS and really needs to be taken down!

Okay but..
This app is definitely not a 1 star, or even 2 star app, but the content is not up to date. I binge watched a few shows, and had to end my subscription after a few months of not seeing any new shows, or new episodes to the shows that I like. Please add more content a little more often. I still check back often with the hope of restarting my subscription.

I keep having the same issue with the shows I try to watch. When I try to play the show, it exits out of my allblk app entirely. I’ve tried restarting my roku and even logging in and out of the app with no luck. Not pleased.

The positive side of UMC , I like the movies it Playing something different online. most of them. I seen before but they have real good meaning, The downside is that you have to keep pushing Resume to many time, if I'm going to paid $6.99 I would like to see the whole show without keep hitting resume so if that could be fixed I thanking about staying this is my first week.. so we will see just paid my first payment after my 7 day free trial.

So I purchased this app before the name/image change and I think I was able to watch maybe two episodes of a show and all other movies would not play. I downloaded the site for my tv and it never played the sound. With the new change or more Kendall show I resubscribed and guess what the site still doesn’t work. I don’t always want to watch things on my phone. I hate this because the site really looks like they have good shows but I guess I’ll never know smh

Can’t Reset Password
Wouldn’t let me log in after making account, so I tried resetting my password. The links never came and I tried resetting thru the app and the website. Have been waiting for hours to receive an email from them. I will be canceling. Also the support link takes you to a page saying that the website address is available? Basically that’s there’s no support page. So sad because this looked like a really cool app that I would’ve loved to use.

This is the only pay app that you cannot download for off-line viewing. I am away from home all day cannot use all my data watching your programs. Also you cannot open the picture all the way up,on my tablet black bars at the top and at the bottom. Too bad. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS APP!! If i could’ve gave it 0 stars I would! I just restored my subscription again and it’s like pulling teeth trying to log in! There was no problem with them taking my money but now i can’t access my account?? Y’all must really need $6.99 bad!! Even when i do forget password I still can’t log in. These error messages keep popping up. Never again will I try to use this app!! It was a show I like to watch on there but it’s not worth me shelling out my money to get nothing in return. Constantly have to restart app
On some shows I click it says ALLBLK not available in this country. If I go through the explore tab, in an attempt to watch something it gives me an error message. I have to do this on every show I attempt to watch. It will give me that same error message. Really annoying I may cancel this sub before the next cycle

So for the first few days of my trial this app was great! But for the past four days I haven’t been able to watch 90% of the programs on the app! It says this video can’t be played at this time. Contacted UMC directly who gave me a bunch of suggestions that I had already tried... They did also provide me with the website- logged in on the website and I’ll be damned!!! On the website I can watch everything I’ve been trying to watch for the past 4 days!!! Guess it’s just the Apple App that’s a piece of junk!!! Very dissatisfied with this app!

Like everybody else says it’s hard to login then I was reading somebody’s review and it’s a response from the developer and The developer says something about like the fine print say you got to click on your iTunes profile And all this extra crap if you make your account and you pay and got a password you should be able to login and start using the app. You guys are giving yourself a bad name already and it’s other things I want to say but I’m not going to say it but get it together because y’all got all bad reviews
