Taking photos of my students’ artworks and tagging them for uploads go so much faster with this app! My only wish is that I could edit and complete uploads in either the app or the browser, not only the app. I also wish there were more abilities like adding to showcases from the app.

I have been an Art Teacher for Grades K-5 for 16 years, and have been using Artsonia for 10 years. It has been an incredible learning tool for my students and I. We use their online portfolios as a summative assessment of their growth. Families love being able to see their children’s art, and read what they write about it. My students love the talk to text feature for writing artist statements. I have been able to purchase art supplies through the fundraising portion, which I’m very thankful for. Artsonia Customer Support is always very helpful, available and do periodic helpful updates. If there’s one thing I’d like to see in the future is for the app to support emojis in the titles/statements because students like to communicate through symbols. I have purchased merchandise for my family, and have always been happy with the quality and price. Terrific work, Artsonia!
I love this portfolio system and app! I can easily upload student artwork upon completion. Parents and grandparents alike are raving about the ease of sharing artwork with family and friends. The fundraising aspect pulled me in and has not let me down. I have been able to purchase higher quality materials that normally may not have made it into my classroom due to the cost. I sing Artsonia’s praises to all of my art teacher friends.
I love using this for my students! It was not easy to use in the beginning, but has gotten so much better over the years! I am teaching my students to upload their own work, and they are enjoying it as well. My student’s parents and grandparents appreciate being able to see their student’s work online. They love being able to order things with the work on it!
I photograph thousands of artworks each year and find it super easy to upload a class at a time. If there is ever an uploading problem it is always my wifi connection, not the app. This is easy to use and so streamlined that I can upload, select student, crop and publish quickly. I love the blur tool, so I can easily “erase” last names from artwork.
WOW! What a big change from the last app! Artsonia 6.0 is just what I needed to keep me organized as an art teacher. Very easy to see which students still need to upload or complete projects. LOVE that you can assign the project to a student FIRST before editing or even to just save for later. Great search features. Interface much more trendy and eye-catching. BIG FAN!
I have a Huge school. 1000+ students rotate through my art room. With little space for anything, Artsonia is the only way I can do my portfolio standards. Also, because of its fundraising aspect, I have raised enough to buy clay for my school when I only had enough for 2 grade levels in my budget.
The Artsonia app makes it easy for me to upload all my students’ art for parents to see. A lot of times, parents don’t know what goes on in the classroom but with Artsonia, parents get to see all the art created by their child as it happens. I have been using Artsonia in my classroom for over 15 years, and I wouldn't want to be without it! The app is user friendly and makes it easy for my students to upload and comment on their own work and share it with world.
The app is really the only way I can upload my students artwork in a timely manner. I wouldn’t know what to do without it since I have such young students and no tablets available to teach them to upload their artwork themselves. I absolutely love it!
I have been uploading my students’ artwork to Artsonia for the past 14 years. That translates to roughly 70,000 pieces of artwork. This is an incredible resource for me and my art program. I would give this company/app 10 stars if I could. Thank you Artsonia!!
I love Artsonia, and I use it religiously to fulfill many needs. I even really like the new app design update....if only it would work! I was told some of the photo editing features were disabled to work on a fix, but that was a while ago. In the meantime, I’m having to add several steps (like photographing and editing art outside the app) before I can use Artsonia. This year being what it is, I really don’t have time for that! I’m disappointed.
I love this app and people don’t give this app a lot of credit ; if anyone can name a better sharing art social media type of app then I’ll move it down to 4 stars but this is a amazing app!
This new 6.0 version crashes everytime I try to load a photo. The old version worked great. Not sure why we are trying to fix something that wasn’t broke.
Artsonia is hands down the best program for digital portfolios. The app is super student, teacher, and family friendly! They have the best customer service too!
Why does this app need to be updated ever time it is opened? Don’t update the app if you have projects that haven’t been published because you will lose all of your work. So frustrating!!!! Please fix this app!
I never am able to upload artwork through the app. I take pictures of the artwork and then the app crashes when I try to upload it to my account. This needs to be fix. I’ve had trouble for over a year now.
Just another app that teachers asked me to download. Already dismayed at the purchase requirements…. And to top it off, things don’t seem to work like they should anyway. I can’t seem to view my kid’s work nor the feedback.
Really wish the app worked. Won’t even open my photos to import and I don’t have time to photograph and assign names while taking the pics. I use the web browser and love artsonia but the app needs a lot of work.
This apps nice, but slow, and I’ve only uploaded a few things. The worst piece of this crappy pie is that I use this app for school! Please fix this app up.
I wanted to love this app so much, but I can’t get it to work. The old version had no way to add photos to the projects (which is why I got the app in the first place), and the 6.0 version of the app crashes every time I try to access the photos. Please fix!
The app crashes when I ask it to upload photos. Sometimes I see the screen where I am supposed to pick whether I want to upload from camera, screenshots, etc. But that screen disappears in an instant.
