Love it
I love all their product because always up to date every season, good quality and ellegant stuff. The price is reasonable, easy payment system or finance. No body perfect in this world either the company they have plus and minus. Ashley Furniture is growing up company they already 70 years in this industries i belive they will learn from their mistake and they will get better in the future. Most of all my house furniture from Ashley Furniture :) “You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar”.

False advertising
The app advertises free deliver but fails when you place your order . When you attempt to call customer service no ones answers . It’s a scam to get you to go into the store . When I arrived at the store I was told there is so such thing as free deliver and was charged an extra $100 for delivery . I’ve attempted to contact customer service via email however I have not received any response. Again the app stated false information that customer service will get back to you In 24 hours . As of right now it’s been one week . I would of taken my business elsewhere but I’ve already been approved for there credit prior to going in store , and I wasted so much time with this app by the time I went into the store there was no time left to shop around .

Ashley in general
Over 2 hours on hold to track down a delivery to find out that the furniture isn’t in stock yet. Can’t find the order on the website and cannot link the existing order to my profile on the website. The app doesn’t recognize anything to include the tracking feature. Ashley Home Furniture as a company is falling apart. Good luck finding an English speaker in chat. It takes 7 minutes to get one chat answer and by then the chat was switched to another service representative who has no idea what the last one said. It’s all trash. How Ashley will survive the pandemic in 2022 is because you’re all assuming Ashley has actual customer service. This is by far the worst $9000 USD experience.

Never buy from Ashley’s furniture!!!! You have been warned
Poor quality. The item is cheaply made, and is not even stable. The item claims to be solid wood but the back pieces are so flimsy and held up with pegs. 2 pieces of the “wood” came damaged. The product took 2 + weeks to arrive after purchase online. 2 delivery men, 1 wearing a mask, 1 not. They banged a staircase coming in. Contacted customer service about the damages, was on hold for 45 minutes, had a very rude chat experience as well. Ultimately decided to return this item. It’s now been 2+ weeks and still waiting for this item to be picked up from my home. A pick up time was set, and then cancelled on me with out a reschedule, despite confirming in advance. It’s now over 1 month from purchase date, I still have this product in a box in my home. Every single time I call either Ashley’s customer service or the delivery/pick up team, no one has information. The response I’m always given is call another # sorry I don’t have the information. Ultimately I contacted my credit card company and the BBB about Ashley’s business.

Crashes, Burns & Terrible CS - DON’T Order from the App
DONT ORDER ON THE APP!!!! I placed an order through the app in November. I’m waiting for my order to ship... I see the authorization HOLDS (yes, plural, one for each item, not just a purchase total) on my credit card... and nothing. No email... nothing. I log in and check. It shows canceled. I call and end up on hold for an hour. I try another part of the endless phone tree. Still nothing. I try the customer service chat. The person tells me “sorry, sometimes the app crashes and it looses your order, you’ll have to re-order”. I ask about the authorization holds. I was told it’ll eventually “time out”. I call another number about that. Yea, it’ll time out... after January 3rd. So after another THREE WEEKS. So the good deal I thought I was going to get I won’t because, sorry, I don’t trust this at all now, and the customer service isn’t any help as they didn’t cancel the transaction authorization holds or offer to fix the cancelled order - an order I didn’t cancel - poor technology on their end did. Bravo Ashley Furniture. Well done.

Buyer Beware
We bought bar stools and and asked our sales rep what would happen if they didn’t work. He said “you MAY be charged a restocking fee.” We were willing to pay a fee if they didn’t work. They are too high for the table that we want them for. So I called the customer service # on our invoice. I was told that we cannot exchange or return them. So then why did our sales rep say that we could? Well actually he didn’t, the MAY was to imply that it was a possibility but clearly he knew how we would interpret that statement. That is misrepresentation and just plain bad business practice. If they have to use deception to sell their merchandise they shouldn’t be in business.

Not a good experience, terrible product quality
Bought a Moleros brand queen sleeper couch, which sleeper mechanism broke at first use; after 4months of getting a run around to fix it, send a technician etc, they finally agreed to replace it. Couch seemed and felt alright after delivery, however, every time you sit on it, change positions when sitting, get up from it, it makes a squeaky sound as if it were a very old heavily used couch, which I am still making monthly payments on it. Little energy to spend another 4 months getting a run around with the poorest customer service ever. Will never buy from Ashley furniture and do not recommend the Morelos brand at all. At this point I would like a full refund and couch returned.

Horrible Customer Service and Website
It took me 3 days to try and order a sofa because their website was causing me issues. I kept trying to call their customer service but couldn’t connect with someone on multiple occasions for longer than 30 minutes. Luckily I finally connected with someone after 40 minutes of waiting and she fixed the issue, but this app is a joke. When I click on the orders link it doesn’t work and when I tried ordering the couch from the app it was giving me huge delivery fees that the website wasn’t giving me. Ashley Furniture really isn’t doing a good job right now. I hope I don’t have issues in receiving the sofa now.

Sold Out!
I want to order something. I received a notification of the Black Friday sale, but everything I want is sold out!?! Just increase the price a little and push out the delivery and sell it! Annoyed that I spent time on the app finding things that weren’t available, and can’t be ordered. I actually liked one of the things so much that I drove to the store to see it. It is online only! That’s okay. I went to a sales person to order it, and she can’t order online items!?! If you want a successful company, the processes need to be seamless for the customers. Allow customers to order the same products in store and online. Don’t “sell out” of things. Just raise the price and push the delivery dates out.

Misleading advertising/ unavailable customer service
I ordered a desk on May 19th online, and the site said it was in stock, and that if I ordered it within an hour and 5 minutes I would get it by May 22. Today is May 27th. I still do not have the desk. I have tried calling the 866 number and the local store and I can’t get through. I have left messages and have not received a response. Not one phone call or email. Nothing. If you advise that a customer will receive an item by a specific time when they order within a given time period, you need to deliver on that promise. The fact that I can’t even talk to anyone about my order is ridiculous. Just an awful experience all around.

We have spent thousands with Ashley’s yet our one attempt at online shopping has been not so positive. We purchased a table and 6 chairs. The chairs were shipped by UPS for some reason. They had the wrong address and we did not receive them. We were notified they were returned. The table was delivered by Ashley’s. They had the wrong address still. I had to flag the truck down. This is a month ago. I cannot get a live person to contact me. I have emailed. Facebook messenger no results. COVID or no Covid this is terrible customer service. All i want is my purchased items. I would seriously think twice about further dealings with this company.

Absolute worst shopping experience EVER!
Only got one star because I couldn’t give Zero! They’re happy to take your money but sure don’t concern themselves with actually delivering your purchased items. We will NEVER shop Ashley Furniture/HomeStore again. The most horrible customer service, from Frank, the Manager at the CHARLESTON location and Jordan, the actual sales associate from whom we purchased (but could never be bothered to return her customer’s calls), to the distribution center which is nothing more than a very poorly operated robo-system. The CHARLESTON personnel were completely ignorant to the delivery process. I very much regret purchasing from Ashley HomeStore and won’t make that mistake again, nor would I ever recommend them.

App functions
I love shopping through the app and it’s many functions for Bill payment, saving favorites and purchasing. Problem is the Favorites and now the Shopping cart feature is not working. It would be wonderful if someone would look into this and fix it and yes I talked to customer service their response was call the store I shop at. How disappointing! Many things on the app are not in my store and I don’t feel like standing there trying to browse on their screens. I’m currently remodeling my home room by room and would love to be able to shop the app. I guess at least I can make my payments from the app.

Ur lucky we can’t give 0 stars, bc this app isn’t worth even one star. Every time I tried to search for ANYTHING- 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 pulled up! It’s like: “We’re sorry, no products were found for your search: rug” I tried everything, the customer service didn’t know how to help with this- all their suggestions didn’t work. I even deleted and redownloaded the app multiple times! How am I supposed to even utilize this dumb app??! Maybe I’m just stupid, but then the customer service is, too, since they also couldn’t figure it out. At least this isn’t an app that u have to purchase and then it lets I down ig….

Not compatible with Apple devices
I downloaded the app and placed an order. The following day I got on the app to check on my delivery status. It said I had no orders placed. I know I placed the order because my account was charged. I then called customer service to see what the issue was and they said there app is not compatible with Apple products. She said it will let you place the order and charge you bit then they cancel it out. Which is complete nonsense! They said my account would be issued back the money within a few days. Why would they even have an app available for download if you can’t use it. Very frustrating😡

Glad to have protection plan
I went to Ashley‘s store online and ordered a Stephanie bench and a chair I got the chair and brought it home put itIn my sitting room. when my 6 foot five and well over 200 pounds sat down and it collapsed. I went ahead and filed for the protection plan and then was able to get my chair replaced there was no arguing or fussing they just replaced it just like that I was so happy that’s why I wrote this review on the other shop anywhere but Ashley‘s from now on.

Incredibly disappointing
I am having the SAME frustration as other reviewers. NO ONE will return my calls or emails. I have even tried the chat room they have on-line. Our furniture arrived completely damaged. the delivery guy said a “technician” had to come out and see if the damage was legit for us to get a replacement. It’s been a week with absolutely no response or call. We have been sleeping on our mattress on the floor for a week now..We are DEFINITELY talking to another furniture store right now. Totally disappointing. $3k worth of furniture completely damaged upon arrival. It’s like all this stuff fell out of a truck. I get that things happen, but the lack of response is unacceptable. RENO store. Buyer beware.

Aldwin Dining Set, 4 chairs, 1 bench, one Nemoli sofa
The online ordering would not work. I attempted several times, then drove to Ashley store in WA I had to have the store manager call a store in AZ to place my order. Then a verification from customer care to get my credit card and place order. I got FOUR phone calls verifying today for delivery. The driver unloaded all items but the 4 dining chairs. No explanation or back order date. The bench leg was broken so did it accept delivery of bench. I called numerous customer service numbers, tried online chat.. no help because I placed “a phone order” . Still no word on out if stock chairs or replacement bench. Nightmare.

Terrible!!
Well we ordered our furniture in May and it still hasn’t all come yet!! Part of our future was delivered 2 months ago and it was broken! We called them to fix it but Ashley just sends you to other random numbers that never answer! They finally answered after 30 minutes of being on hold and saying they will be here in 4 weeks and when it was finally been 4 weeks they don’t come and they always do this, they say it or they will be here in 2 mouths after saying they would be here in 4 weeks. When we were at the shop a guy was acting so cool and all he said was lies! In other words DO NOT ORDER FROM ASHLEY!!!!!!!!

I’ve been an Ashley furniture customer for over 20 yrs. I prefer it to be candid, it’s beautiful, long lasting and comfortable furniture. The furniture withstands the test of time. I wouldn’t go anywhere else to make my home beautiful. Being a disabled veteran with severe back pains, is what drew me to them at first, but well as knowing i can have the stylish and class as well. So thank you Ashley for years of beautiful furniture I’ve accumulated over time. I’m a customer for life. ❤️

Non functional app
This app is not functional as far as ordering. I can’t even add anything to my cart to even attempt to purchase. It’s basically for viewing purposes only. You’ll either have to go to the website or go into in actual store to order. I don’t like going into furniture stores just because I don’t like being bombarded with all the extra crap they add on to your bill without you knowing. Ashly sales people are good for sticking you with unwanted furniture warranties that you will NEVER be able to use if needed. I’d just prefer to avoid them like the plague. Fix the app so we can use it to order.

Poor Customer Service
I purchased my last item in November 2019. I was told my estimated delivery date would be 2 - 6 weeks. Well we are at the sixth week. I called the store the first time. I was given a fax number to customer service. Call the store a second time spoke to the manager was given another number to call. Now keep in mind not one person attempted to contact me to give an update on my furniture. I spoke to a nasty lady in need of customer service training. I was told I would have to wait another three weeks. Now I am not happy because I shouldn't be reaching out to the store. Also, my furniture was paid in full the day that I purchased it.

Never a problem
I say never a problem because everything was taken care of within 24 hours. I ordered a metal bed and some how only the headboard was delivered. I was upset but my sales buddy Terry got right back to me apologizing that she misunderstood and only ordered the headboard. The manager came the very next day and assembled the bed. Everyone was relieved. I was happy with how it was all handled. A simple miscommunication. I can’t wait to work with Terry again. Lovely.

Definitely a great app when you are looking to buy those bigger items.. it shows the product as if it were right in front of you... I’ve yet to have any misgivings of incorrect colors, sizes or even prices.. friendly user app which could not necessarily be a good think when you aren’t sure about the item and buy it anyway.. LOL..

Favorites is glitchy and frustrating
The app sort of works, but isn’t smooth. When I am reviewing favorites weird stuff happens: I might get stuck on the product page and the back button doesn’t work, and the order of my favorites jumps around if I am able to go back. It makes it hard to make sure I look at each saved item, plus it causes a bit of panic bc it looks like it disappeared at first. I’m convinced some favorites have disappeared

Don’t order through app!
I attempted to place an order for furniture through the App yesterday. I never got a confirmation so just got off the phone with them. Turns out they only recommend placing orders through the Internet using Chrome. Why have an app with a purchase option if it doesn’t work?! I now have to wait 3-5 business days for a call back from their finance department before I can place the order again. AND it will take 7-10 days for them to reverse the charges on my credit card. By then the sofa I wanted could be out of stock as it was an Outlet item.

So many glitches
So many glitches and bugs with both your website and app. It keeps telling me my login info is incorrect or that theirs no account with my email when it isn’t incorrect and I definitely made an account because my passwords and emails are always saved on my phone and laptop when I create accounts. On the website when I search and click on what I’m trying to order it has an error message that says “Uh oh” each and every time I click on it or even something else. I would love to place an order if you can fix your glitchy system on your website and app.

Rubbish!
This app is seriously trash! I have items in my cart, it is visible that there are two items in my cart when on the home page. When I click to see my cart is says cart empty or it will just not show any items at all. Just a blank white screen. Go back to the home page and the items are online as in stock. So it should still show items in my cart... Not only that, when I try to check out - the app ask for my address. Type the address in and it still doesn’t save my address. I typed my address in TEN times and still the same stupid message routing me to add my address. Just trash.

App needs an update
The app overall is pretty good for shopping. I was able to search, sort, and connect with customer service through the app buttons. The one thing the app doesn’t show is pictures in the review section. You have to use your internet browser to see pictures in the reviews to get a feel for the furniture. Defeats the purpose of the app when you still have to use a browser instead.

Order
Ordered almost $1,000 of furniture. I sent 2 e-mails to customer service because I had not received my order nor been contacted regarding my order. 6 days later when I called to inquire about delivery and an item being 4 days late, I was told that the Ashley app had issues and the confirmation number and charge to my credit card had to be reversed so now I have to order my furniture again which was at least an hour or two process the first time. Very unhappy about this process and the possibility of the app glitching again yet charging my credit card and not receiving the furniture I ordered.

The worst customer service!
My bedroom set was delivered two weeks ago without the hardware. The hardware was delivered a week ago. I’ve called and visited the store I purchased from every day to get the bed assembly I paid for done. I have yet to receive notification of when my bed will be assembled. I’m thinking of reporting the service to a news station. Seems the only way to get anyone to do anything. When I went to the store to voice my concerns, I was treated like I was a bother. STILL no follow up! My daughter went through the same thing with them. I chalked it up to an isolated incident. Apparently, this happens often.

Very disappointed with the lack of communication from this place. I ordered a couch in May. I was told by the salesperson it would be delivered on July 11th. Was not delivered until August 19th. The best part was the whole couch was not even delivered, only half of it! How does that happen??? The rest of the couch will not be delivered to me until September 11th. Probably will never purchase from this furniture store again. I understand Covid is happening, but communicate with your customers about the updates in the order . I had to reach out to inquire about my couch update. I ordered from another furniture store and it took a week to get my furniture.

App is terrible
This app is literally USELESS!! I Love Ashley as a store, their products and amazing customer service. But this app is laughable. I made a log in, purchased items under that login. Go back to check on orders, click the button and NOTHING comes up. Goes to track shipment and use my phone number, which is what they ask (which is word in itself, why not the order number but ok) Type it in ..... and NOTHING! Like I LITERALLY have no clue what the heck this app does except give you no information and lets you shop. It’s uselessness for rendering information associated with your log in/order leaves me speechless. Ridiculous.

Horrible return policy. Clearly the store doesn’t care about their customers
Please please be careful when shopping at Ashley’s furniture. Their return policy only protects them. They really truly don’t care about the customers. 72 hour return policy. Hopefully you know somethings wrong in those for 72 hours because they will never never do anything for the customer after 72 hours. Doesn’t matter what happens, if something breaks or if you just decide it’s not what you like. customer service is what makes a business successful, clearly Ashley furniture is only about Ashley furniture!

Has issues
This app has several issues. I just downloaded it this morning since I’m in the market for furniture. Here’s some: —On the ‘shopping’ screen, it doesn’t indicate if any item is already in your favorites. (The little heart is not filled in, for example.) —When changing the color of the product if there’s a choice, the picture doesn’t change to reflect the new color. —You get way more pertinent information using the website than you do the app: i.e., more dimensions, etc. Overall, a terrible disappointment.

DO NOT USE
I repeat DO NOT USE. I was making a purchase online using safari and it wasn’t working so decided to download the app. I never received confirmation from the purchase on the app. But checked my bank the next day to see if the money came out. Ashley charged my card 6 times. When I called Ashley’s customer service they told me that making purchases through iPhones using safari or the app doesn’t work. Extremely upset because now I have to wait for the money to get refunded back in my account in order to make my purchase.

Low quality
Not long ago, maybe a year I bought what I thought would be a piece of quality furniture from Ashley. It was a reclining loveseat . I had it for 2 months and the wood on the back of it broke. I bought it online so I was unable to check the quality of it. It’s now a piece of garbage sitting in my front room. I got the same kind of runaround. I could replace it with the same thing but no refund. Why would I want the same piece of garbage that I already have?! Never again will I buy another thing from them!

Best shopping experience
Steven Windom was extremely helpful and patient and took time to listen and answer all of my questions. Best person I’ve ever dealt with when shopping for furniture. Katelyn was also extremely personal, friendly and professional. Awesome overall customer service experience from both!!! Great assets to your company!!!

STAY AWAY
I bought a leather sectional sofa, 2 end tables & a T.V. Console. I didn’t find out that my order was delayed until 8:30 pm the night before delivery. Then when my order was finally delivered they sent 2 different colors to my couch. When they came back they pulled & stretched the leather to the end recliner which they promised to fix. Almost every piece of my order had some kind of damage! They mailed me wrong replacement parts as well as items that were damaged!! They are now refusing to repair the couch because 1 out of 3 technicians stated my recliner is in “Showroom” condition!

DO NOT BUY ONLINE
One of my packages was damaged and the glass lamp was busted when i opened the box. Tried to contact their customer service and i don’t think that department even exists. I have waited on hold total over 3 hours. When my call did finally go through and started ringing it immediately dropped the call. Absolutely no customer service. I will never buy furniture here again. I had heard so many great things about this company and the quality of the furniture but if this is how they treat their customers who cares if they sell great furniture. Absolutely ridiculous and very disappointed.

Horrible customer service and incomplete furniture pieces
I will NEVER buy from this company again. I have made multiple attempts to correct a simple fix to a beautiful piece that I purchased earlier this year. It was finally delivered, just to find out that the legs of the headboard were missing. I’m frustrated because I’m sleeping on the floor, and every time I call I get a different story. Also, an entertainment center that I purchased at the same time was damaged and I’ve been waiting since April. I hope no one else has to go through this nonsense!

Nothing but delays
Do not get your hopes up for a delivery date that’s anytime soon, and don’t trust what you see on the website. They can’t manage their stock appropriately so you’ll likely find yourself in a position of having to wait months for furniture you need, and we’re expecting to get in 3-4 weeks, not 3-4 months. Don’t make accommodations and sell furniture to make room for your new furniture in advance, like I did. I ordered a desk and credenza for my office, and sold my old furniture the week before the expected ship date. I’m now going to have an empty office for 3-4 months.

Bad business!
We purchased a four piece bedroom set consisting of 2 dressers and 2 nightstands. After a long wait we started receiving each item separately. We received 3 of the 4 items and were told the last dresser would be delayed. This dresser was delayed about 4 more times until recently when we were told the item had been discontinued and we had the other 3 items long enough that they wouldn’t accept a return on them. We were only offered a partial refund for the discontinued item. Do yourself a favor and buy your furniture elsewhere!

No order tracking, terrible UI from web to mobile
I very seldom take the time to write a review, but Ashley’s order management is so horrible I felt compelled. Placed an order and have no way to even see the order history in my account outside of my inbox on the site. No app order tracking, just a handful of scattered tracking links with no ETA until the items actually ship. Released like this usually go hand in hand with bad management and poor processes. This company is too big to be this bad at this.

Terrible customer service
So I placed my order and got an email advising me to be patient due to covid 19... I get it. A month later there is no tracking information available, after waiting on hold for an hour I could not talk to anyone and, after leaving a message, within minutes my credit card was billed for the item, but still no word from anyone at Ashley. I wouldn’t mind waiting for delays if they would at least let me know where I am in the process. I was an Ashley furniture fan but I don't think I’d put myself through this again!

When I went into the store, the customer service provided was outstanding. The representative was very professional and got me the best deal possible. I would highly recommend you go in. Also, the delivery team was great and on time. Definitely will be purchasing from Ashley furniture in the future.

Online order experience
I tried several times to place my order online today but kept getting an error, then when I finally was able to place my order, the supposed “free shipping” that was advertised on their site wasn’t applied at checkout. Not happy at ALL. Was on hold for an hour and a half with their customer service department and finally just hung up out of frustration. I really hope I like the furniture I ordered and that all this hassle was worth it. You better believe I will be calling back to get my shipping charge refunded!

An app should do something for me that the website doesn’t. Otherwise, what’s the value? This app is the same as the website - everything is out of stock. The only difference between the app and the website is the app doesn’t have the annoying chat icon hovering over your view right on the lower right corner, which ironically is where many of us scroll from. And it’s a bot, not an actual human. Fail on all counts.

Good outlet store at best
If you want broken mismatched items without remedy use the app or in person store but their items are not warranted as promised and you may even get mismatched items at full price and be stuck paying for it. Best advice is go to the outlet if you want anything from them and if you don’t see what you want just wait and they will get it soon! Local franchises are allowed to use their own “corporate office” to decline the most obvious flaws in items and refuse deliver correct items. Given 1 star only because the furniture is nice just a mess.

TO MANY GLITCHES
I’ve bought so many pieces of furniture from Ashley’s Furniture so I thought, I should get the app and have a account to keep track of my purchases. This app is so glitchy it’s very aggravating. It won’t keep my address on file, it doesn’t keep track of my purchases. I have to end up going to the website in my browser and log into my account to get the info I need on my purchases and browsing is easier too. Whoever developed this app needs to work on all the glitches.
