So this is a great app, that’s why I gave it 5 stars. You get to type in either English or aurebesh, and it comes out the other way. That’s my only problem with it, because I wanted an app that is just completely in aurebesh, and there is no setting to make it that way. Of course, the way it comes in is helpful to learn it and allows you to teach yourself, but I’ve used enough translators for aurebesh on the internet that by the time I found this app I already knew all the letters. It’s a great app, I only just wish you could make it completely in aurebesh.
Aurebesh IO is a fun app. It allows you to upload what you have written to your photos, which is really handy. I will use them as wallpaper or send them to friends. The app can also help you learn Aurebesh. The only thing I would like to see changed is its forcing the use of digraphs (ng, th, sh, etc.) since these are not canonical. I don’t mind having them as an option, but I wouldn't say I like being compelled to use them.
I really needed this app just becaue i had a need to translate aurebesh. It gave me a notification saying that my lack of ratings is disturbing so i am leaving this review to please my lord vader. After all, I do not do this for glory, only results… for my emporer. Also, I want to suggest adding the combined letters into the keyboard because the letters th, sh, kh, and ng have different symbols when combined and it would be helpful to add to the keyboard when typing. Thank you for this app!!
So I love Star Wars, and this is a fantastic app that gives me the ability to write in a language that my friend and I can communicate with! 10/10 product, love this app! The only draw back is that if you copy and paste the Aurebesh into messages, it will translate back into English! But still a fantastic product!!! Thank you!
So I was rly excited to get a way to text people with this like my friends and sister who are into Star Wars like me, but then i found out it’s just for learning and translating, so that was a little disappointing. Could y’all maybe make this an app that lets you text and type on other apps with Aurebesh? Overall it’s okay and I’ve gotten one add so far but it’s not like interrupting my typing, so it’s all chill. But if y’all could make this so you can text people that’d be great.💙🧡🤍
This app is great, and super useful for sending coded transmissions, but there are two things I wish were different: 1) it would be great if the image you save wasn't one long strand, it's super hard to read if you type a lot! And 2) since the additional digraph characters are no longer canon, maybe have the option to switch between the full alphabet and the standard alphabet? That would get 5 stars from me.
I’m glad that you do not flip characters for upper and lower case, but you fore the use of the double letter or what you call “ligature” characters. You should have a button or setting to make those optional. I prefer not to use them but I do understand that others may like them. Also, would be nice if I could send straight to a printer and not have to save to camera roll first.
This app is amazing. I learned aurebesh and needed some practice. Which is why I downloaded this app. It helps out a ton early on but has one annoying issue. There is no way to type aurebesh on an aurebesh keyboard. You have type in English to make aurebesh. I would suggest adding an aurebesh to aurebesh mode.
Enable this with texting and/or Microsoft if possible with the pasting option
It is useful in terms of learning the Star Wars alphabet, and fun to type in it. I however am wondering if it’s possible to paste in texting as aurebesh? I ask because whenever I copy from this app, and then paste in the messaging app, it appears as English, not Aurebesh. I’m wondering if there is a way to enable the text to appear as Aurebesh in messaging, as well as in Microsoft word or so.
This app is great for typing and translating Aurebesh, I just wish that it had separate character keys on the keyboard for digraph characters, and that it had a third entry option for typing and displaying (both) in Aurebesh, rather than just the two current entry options where you enter text using either Latin or Aurebesh keyboards, and the display text the uses the other writing system.
This app has progressed my understanding of aurebesh a lot more than the books that have the alphabet in it. I’d also like a setting where you can add it as a keyboard on iPhone so you don’t have to paste an image.
It would be really great if the aurebesh keyboard had access to all the digraphs (instead of just the 26 basic letters). It would also be nice if we could choose either the digraph or the two standard letters when typing in English. For example, change with the ch digraph but without the ng digraph (as the ng in that word isn’t like I’m the word bing, if that makes sense.
I absolutely love this app! I just have one suggestion to add something: what if you made a keyboard to type out aurebesh for text messages or other things. If you could do that, that would be amazing! If you aren't able to do that then that's okay.
This is a great Star Wars app for folks who like having Star Wars gear in Aurebesh. You can translate the wording to English so you know what it says on what you’re wearing. It will also be very helpful when I return to Batuu (Galaxy’s Edge). Highly recommended!!! May the Force be With You!
This app is made for absolute geeks like me, who for some reason find the need to speak Aurebesh. It's awesome, works flawlessly and never ever crashes. The save sentence to photo feature is amazing to have and works fast, and lastly, I respect the hard work put into making this app. Yup. Get it. Now.
Whenever I go to type in Aurebesh, the keyboard is to low, so I will try to hit space and it will pull me out of the app. I don’t know if this happens to Samsung users but it’s very annoying. But other than that the app is amazing!
I personally use it for learning, and by now i can read and write in it! It is easy to use and you can write or read in aurebesh. The only thing is it's a little slow at times. But otherwise, great job!
Symbols can be typed in in Aurebesh for an immediate translation to English, or you can dictate in English and see how it shows up in Aurebesh. Pretty useful if you’re either trying to teach yourself the lingo, or just want to spot Easter eggs in the shows and movies.
This is really nice for writing Aurebesh characters, but there’s no way to send the characters via text message. The only way is to save as image and then send the image to the intended recipient, but the image itself is rather large.
I love this app and it is very helpful if you want to learn Aurebesh, but there should be a setting to make the app in only Aurebesh, and make it so you can type in Aurebesh in messages.
This app is phenomenal. Me and my friend are big star wars nerds, and memorized aurebesh as our secret language. What would be cool is if you could use it this as third party keyboard so we could text each other in aurebesh. Other then that, this app is perfect.
I have learned how to read Aurebesh in just a couple of minutes. I love being able to change the color of the words and I love that it is a really good app.
As a stormtrooper, I really enjoy this app whenever I get deployed. I am not good with aurebesh and often times find myself asking fellow troopers to translate. Now, I never have to ask again. 5 Stars TK-5627
The app is extremely good and useful but the only issue is if you put in a long phrase and save it to camera roll the picture is extremely small. Other than that no real issues
Nicely designed and good at what it does. It would be great if it could add a PDF generator for larger translations. It would also be cool to be able to import photos and annotate them with aurebesh characters. Those would make homemade greeting and postcards go to the next level.
Honestly I got this app in hopes to learn aurebesh and I haven’t rlly learned anything but I love using it! When it asked me to rate it it said “I find your lack of rating disturbing…” which made me smile so 5 STARS🥰

This app is epic and I love how it’s all fluent and canon. But might I ask both apple and this app creator to try to work together to make aurebesh a real keyboard. That way we could type messages to our friends without saving them as photos. Just a thought.
Needed a quick way to learn Aurebesh for a trip to the Halcyon Starcruiser and this great app did the trick! It’s a goto for quick translation! Can’t go wrong! Great for learning quickly.
This is so much fun to use and it works amazingly:). My only complaint is that is doesn’t use the compound letters like in the aurebesh alphabet, but this is so small it doesn’t take away from how well this app works.
The only things keeping this from being a 5-star rating for me at the moment is the lack of color selection options in RGB and using hex values, and a word-wrap option for the output image.
I honestly wish I could type in my regulars message with aurebesh font not send photos of what I type but I love it so much! I just gotta keep at this and I will be able to read and type in aurebesh starwars for life

My only complaint is that I wish it was a keyboard like what I use to write in Spanish and Danish. I would love to be able to write in Aurebesh anywhere that I write anything—my notes, Kik, app reviews. 😜 Love this app!
