App is a small improvement over ordering tickets through a web browser. A couple things I noticed that would be a bigger convenience. first, the app will not save my login information. If it did, it would make it much more convenient to login. Second, it needs to be able to either use Apple Pay as a purchasing option, or at minimum save my credit card information. I prefer the first option, as I don’t like having to share my card info. Otherwise, The app works good. I like the fact that you can add the tickets to your Apple wallet, this makes it much more convenient to scan the barcode at the register at the theater. For some reason, the barcodes that are emailed are much harder to scan. so the Apple wallet feature is a plus.
There’s no place to register. I’m already a member but have never used this online before. They have a “login” button and a “sign in” button! Wtheck?? Isn’t that the same thing? On all other sites I’ve been on those terms are used interchangeably. Anyhow, the login in is to sign into your account. Which I can’t do because I’m not registered online with my account yet. The sign in button is to register your account. Why not just say that then?? So I try to “sign in” aka register and it tells me “a member already exists with that account”, which is me since you use your mobile number. So I go to “login” and click “forgot password” - which btw I’ve never had a pw for this acct b/c until this point I’ve only ever given my mobile number at the theater when purchasing tickets. So when I click forgot pw it sends me an email. I open the email and click to reset. I reset my pw and then go to “login” and it tells me “your membership details were not found”. And it is a vicious cycle! Can’t tell you how many times I’ve retried. So I purchased tickets as a guest, where I will not get credit or points for my purchase. Don’t bother with this awful app. Waste of time!!!
Can’t log into phone app.. web app doesn’t work well either
Can’t log into phone app. It only takes phone numbers though my normal log in is an email address. My cell number is attached to my normal log in but it doesn’t recognize it… so I enter it and my normal password and it errors out. There is no link to change the password or get help of any kind. Also, BB should know that the app locks in previously selected seats that fail to finish the purchasing process. Today, the two times I tried and failed to purchase through the app, it locked out the seats. When I successfully got on the web app, the only seats that showed unavailable were the ones I previously tried to purchase through the app. Coincidence? Maybe but I doubt it. Also the online/web app does not accept my Google payment interface setup. The “add the back of the card number” thing pops up.. and I’ll enter that number, the pop up goes away but I’m back at an empty credit card entry interface. I have to manually enter my credit card details every time. So frustrating. No idea if this is the same on the app as I have yet to successfully log in to it. SMH
I find your website to be very confusing and difficult to use. Also, it would be nice to have only showtimes to the location that serves the area where I live show up on the website. I live in Wylie, TX. I have no interest for the movie times for movies showing anywhere else where you have theaters. ALSO, IT WOULD BE NICE IF YOU OFFERED COKE PRODUCTS!! I live less the 2 miles from your theater in Wylie, TX and there are times that I would drive to the nearest AMC theater 12-13 miles from my house just because they sell Coke products. Coke is the #1 soft drink in Texas and to me. It is very important to me and I doubt I am the only person who feels this way.
the app overall isn’t terrible, easy to navigate decently sized buttons, but there are a few issues that need to be fixed. First off, I had it for less than 3 hours and it crashed multiple times while trying to buy tix, in doing so it locked me out of that sale and those particular seats with no way back to the previous attempt. The app also seemed to lose what was offered at certain locations as all but the regular showing options completely disappeared despite having been there seconds before. The app also pops a login page up every time you open it, even when you’re logged in already. Making it feel exactly like an ad. Following this, it doesn’t transfers the login credentials to the website when you get linked there from the app, forcing you to log back in for certain pages. I’d suggest just buying tickets through the website rather than the app, too many things wrong with it to make it worth the download
Mostly functional but leaves something to be desired
Nice for B&B Theatres to finally have an app. It’s kind of clunky; it doesn’t seem like user is using an app but rather a redirected mini website from the full website; it seems disjointed when testing for full use. Navigation is easy enough, but some pages like “Fun” drag a little. There is a page to see your points, account status and rewards with a gift box icon illuminated - what does that mean? It isn’t very intuitive like the $5 reward icon is. What does the gift box mean? Navigation, again, is easy enough but in some areas of the screen you’re using your finger to slide a top menu left and right, then pressing the option you’ve slid to. Then you scroll up and down. It seems the interface could be just a little more clean.
My wife and I have been going to the other movie theater for years and came into B&B every now and then but the last couple of times that we have been in the last month has really blown us away. The the theater was well kept clean and the staff was very friendly. We really enjoyed the reclining seating in the theaters.
I can’t be a fan of an app that is equipped to take your money (and take it quickly) but not offer a way for you to speak to someone if there’s been an error. I tried buying tickets and the app erred out and said there was a connection issue. So I went through the same process. Same error message. App still shows I haven’t purchased tickets. Credit car shows they’ve charged me twice for my purchase. Might be an extremely easy fix or even an error on my part. But there is absolutely no phone number or way to chat with a representative. Only solution I can think of at the moment is to call credit card company and report the charges as fraudulent.
I love the theater located in Wesley Chapel, FL. It seems to be well staffed at the entrance. However, one of the seats had food left overs and it was only Sunday 8/4/24 at 11:50am. We had to call someone from the staff to remove it. What really struck me was that the bathrooms (both ladies and men’s, according to my husband) were filthy, had foul smell and many stalls lacked toilet paper. It was only a Sunday at 2:30pm, so my conclusion is that there’s no proper supervision and oversight regarding the cleanliness in the Wesley Chapel facility. It’s a shame, since the facility and the attention were excellent… hopefully, you’ll correct this asap. Thanks!
Update: Thank you for adding Apple Pay. What a time saver!! We go to the movies multiple times a month to B&B. Really wish the app saved payment info or at least offered Apple Pay. Have to type in my card info while the timer is counting down isn’t easy.
Hard to find log in key, why do I have to log in each time? Should be saving my log in info, where do I tell app to save my log in info? My local theater isn’t listed in order to even tickets, so I had to go to the website to order, couldn’t use the app. Seems like amateur , silly app issues to me! In the day of movie ticket apps that actually make buying movie tickets fast, easy and allows for earning points so I want to go more often, B&B theaters App is really poor. Customer service and listening to the consumer seems low on their list since most of the reviews are several months old and the app has not been updated or fixed. Shame on you B&B theaters. Especially in the days of Covid -19. What have you been doing on your time off. Obviously not working on your app or customer service. Concerned and constructive consumer review!!
The app is not working correctly on reserving seats. You choose your seats then choose tickets then enter cc. It doesn’t allow much time to enter the cc information and then it times out. Then we have to wait awhile for the seats to open again and start all over. Please fix it to where it will hold seats until we enter into. Not to where it times out and then making the customer wait awhile for the seats to drop the red color so we can go through the process again and risk getting timed out.
If you look for a movie, and select it, you get what ever theatre they want to give you! Most hundred miles away and no way to pull up YOUR favorite! Why have a favorite! What with having to put in all your payment info again and again and again! Can not it get saved?
This app is horrible. Half the time you go to pay you cannot access the submit payment button as it is at the bottom of the screen and the screen will not scroll down. Refreshing does not help.
It’s impossible to log into your account. The app asks for phone number. Reset password uses email. When log in it’s impossible because it goes back to phone number then error. I’ll get tickets at the theatre and hope for the best. T-j-c-f
This app is basically useless unless you just want to see movie times. Can’t log into your account or even see tickets you have purchased. Only feature it offers is that it opens a separate web viewer and takes you to the web site where you can log in. Even that is kinda hidden under: experiences, back stage pass, sign up now. Don’t waste your time with this app. People have been calling for an update for a while and they still haven’t delivered.
App has a huge glitch, the seats shown on the app layout are backwards
This is a well known glitch among the staff, but has not been fixed. Basically, the rows shown in the layout inside the app are backwards when compared to the screen at the front counter. I was at the B&B bar today and when I showed the bartender the seat I wanted (showed him the layout on the app for Super Pets Cinema 3) he said OMG and called the manager to show him. He told his manager “this is the issue we’ve been having, where customers buy a seat on the back based on the layout shown in the app but when they get here it is actually a seat right in front of the screen. Big customer service issue, should not be too hard to fix todo the programmer works with the end users and staff in the theater.
I’ve tried contacting someone with no response. I buy tickets using the app and they disappear every time. Says I have no tickets. No purchase history. I get zero rewards. If not for the emails I wouldn’t have any proof of ticket. No way to scan anything when you purchase at the theater either. No way to earn rewards.
Even though I waited in line the time passed quickly. The staff was attentive, friendly and very helpful. The theater was clean. The sound and picture were perfect! I have never been disappointed at my Junction City B&B.
This app is a frustration to me. It makes me reset my password EVERY SINGLE TIME. And the reset process takes longer than driving to the theater! The login information I have I keep in my phone so that I can copy and paste. So, the error is B&B … not me!
Overall, this app works great and is easy to operate, but it is so frustrating that they log you out of your session so quickly. Every time you go in you have to login I wish they would just give me the option to stay logged in.
It is senseless to have an account you are unable to use to purchase tickets. I have tried multiple times to change my password and each time it appears the password has been changed. Unfortunately, when I try to login/sign in with the new password I receive an error message. The only way I can purchase tickets is to purchase them as a guest.
Doesn’t load home theatre even if it’s the only one saved. Can’t log into account, receive an error message every time. Doesn’t access saved credit cards on iPhone for payment, have to manually enter them. Changes the date to future ones when browsing movies, making it confusing when trying to select showtimes.
This app is awful. And the bad part is it’s costing you business. We would much rather see a movie at the local B&B than at the mega AMC down the road. But having to buy tickets they the website and then manage paper tickets is a non-starter. COVID hit B&B hard but it hit everyone else as well. If you want to get / keep my business, make it easy to do business with you.
This app has had login in issues since I’ve downloaded it. Says my phone number(sign in id) and my email aren’t found yet when I go to register a new account, magically both those items are already in use! Go figure! Customer support is non existent, so I lose out on special pricing and events because I can’t do anything online
Was really excited to watch John wick in 4dx, it was my first time going to see a my in 4dx. Turns out when we got out of watching the movie that 4dx system broke. Really disappointed. After the movie they gave us cards to use to watch a movie. It’s upsetting that my family and I did not get to enjoy the movie in 4dx.
Friendly employees and a nice selection at the bar. They have comfortable seats, but the placement and design of the table is weird Plesha pretty far from your drink.
The app is easy to use. I wish we could easily cancel movies and the money will return to the app for a movie in the future instead of waiting 3-5 business days for refunds. Or made it easy to exchange showtimes without cancellation.
I’m not sure why I keep trying but I’ve tried numerous times to buy tickets on the app only to have it time out or say there is an error. I get no confirmation email about tickets purchase and the seats I select then become unavailable. I end up just going to the website to purchase tickets.
Absolute garbage web page in a wrapper that crashes constantly and when it does, leaves your seats blocked for several minutes so you can’t book them after the crash. Also doesn’t stay logged in. Lacks polish and basic functions. Fundamental problems all over.
This is the most frustrating app. Over half the time you attempt to use, it does not work for various reasons. Today’s latest problem, will it let me pay for chosen tickets. Error message! I am a “Backstage member “, however my frustration level with this app is making me reconsider other theaters options!
I shouldn’t have to open every movie to see the rating. I have asked them before to add a functionality to filter by rating so I can quickly identify which movie is a PG option to take my kids to see.
I was impressed with the cleanliness of the theater. Also the staff at the concession were helpful and friendly. Had a positive experience my first visit there.
Says you have x amt of time to buy or they get released. I exit. Come back 5 mins later to reselect them and they are yet to be released from temporarily being in cart. App needs work to accurately show which seats are available after people have vacated them through checkout
We love going to the Concert way theatre whenever we can. The place is always clean and the staff is always so helpful. I’m getting aquainted with the food option and tried the pep pizza last visit. The pizza was very good and it was nice to eat and watch at one visit! Many thanks for all you and your team are doing!! Scotty & Delia
I love this theater chain! I’m lucky enough to have two in my town, but this app fails in the most basic function (the ability to login) which renders almost everything else about the app useless. I’m excited for a future update that corrects this so I may use it to the fullest!
On the app and online, I never have been able to buy tickets in my cell phone because it doesn’t let me scroll down on the payment screen. Been like this for a couple of years. Hoped it would be fixed by now…
As of right now while writing this I cannot purchase tickets through the app at all. This renders the app completely useless, and the user interface could be way more friendly than it currently is.
Everytime I try to purchase tickets on this app it kicks me out and I have to start over. I end up going to Fandango in order to get tickets. I’ve tried shutting it down, uninstalling and reinstalling but it never works right.
Allowed location to be used but ended up with tickets in New Jersey or some place way away. B&B did refund but caused issue locally. Staff were great and professional but they could only do so much.
Still unable to login! I was happy to see that the latest update (supposedly) allows you to login to your account and stay logged in…BUT login always fails. I can login to the website just fine, but the app just says “An error has occurred”. Sigh…
I bought two tickets to see creed 3 and something came up and I couldn’t go anymore so I refunded the ticket’s. fast forward to the next day and it still hasn’t given me the money and it says that it charged me for the tickets.
