This mobile app is not ready to be deployed commercially. The biggest problem is it lacks security features you normally expect to see where personal information is being collected. Does not have help files or understandable error messages when trying to fill out required information. The template used to build one’s profile is poorly designed, The separate data fields for your name, home address etc are not necessary with the ability to parse data. The labels used to indicate home address, area? are confusing to me.
You cannot use the app to get your boarding pass. The app was not useful to me at all. I would not recommend using it. For my flight, I printed my boarding pass and it worked fine. I was able to bring one regular carry-on bag and one personal item and they did not stop me to weigh either item. The plan felt old and dirty and small and we walked on the asphalt to board it from the rear door. All of that was tolerable but I think a lot of people were uncomfortable because the plane was very hot. However, I really enjoyed the Bahamian flight crew's friendliness and quality of service. It was a short flight so they offered complimentary water bottles to everyone but they did not have snacks. (I am not complaining about no snacks; I did not mind at all.) The flight felt stable and safe. It was a plane with one propeller on each wing on the sides. Very interesting! I have never flown a plane like that before. Would I fly bahamasair again? Yes....our flight was on time and I arrived safely. But it's probably not for everyone.
App lacks the ability to choose your sex. It defaults to FEMALE and I spent 30 minutes trying to change it to MALE…which I am. Address fields are not well defined. Street name and number are confusing at best. Their website has major issues as well. I tried to put in my address and save it. It replied with an error message saying I need to add my STATE…there’s no field for a state to be entered. I hope they fly better than they developed the app and website.
If u decide to use this and register - the password must be 4 characters only - doesn’t say this anywhere. Really - 4 characters? That’s secure!!!! Can’t even get a basic find my trip to work - continual “oops something went wrong”. Really??? These are such basic things. Oh did I mention that you have to put in your street address broken up into 3 fields? Painful app!
App and website doesn’t show existing reservations on Sundays. I’ve seen this twice now. Also please fix the password character limit in the App to match the website. App has an 8 character limit and the website has a higher limit for the same account! More than 8 characters in the password results In login failure in the App
Without registration app does not find all of my existing bookings and registration to test it this way doesn’t work either. F.e. male cannot be marked as it always swappes to female, too many informations need to be filled out just for using the app and even when you fill out every field you won’t be able to register.
This app is a complete joke. The user interface is absolutely awful and I filled out my information lots of different times and wasn’t able to get my boarding pass. A complete waste of time! Do better Bahamas air!
Daft useless App. Herculean task to register ( and you can only register as a female ) . Crazy amount of info required. Password max characters is 4 ! ( although it doesn’t tell You that !) Doesn’t have my country ( Turks and Caicos ) in the drop down menu even though we are neighbors and there are several flights a week to and fro . Just embarrassing really .
The app has no use at all it should be removed as a air line app. It doesn’t work at all. I spent two hours trying to set up and find my booked flight. “No joy.”
Entered my confirmation code and surname…error. Registered (which is a long and arduous process, the mystery of the password length, etc), am prompted to sign in with my user name - how do I know what that is? Tried my email address to no avail. Wasted 15 minutes…giving up.
We’ll that’s the worst travel app I’ve ever used! Honestly it’s not hard these days. Just spent an hour logging on with stupid password rules and failed form submissions and still doesn’t recognise my flight so unable to login. Pain in the butt and a complete waste of time.
