I’ve attempted to download this app multiple times and received the error message that I have a rooted device when I try to open the app. Something I know is untrue due to multiple other working apps (banking, etc.) that would call that out were it true. I do see that there’s been an update in the last couple of days and I would have installed this app shortly after the most recent update so I’m wondering if something was missed there. Based on the complaints about the app being inaccurate versus what the airline says or does, maybe it’s best that I’m not able to use it.
Nicely designed & actually lets you buy tickets which is great but you physically have to add your trips your self which I had to do to prove the check in person at PNH that I had already paid for extra luggage. Flight is delayed & instead of updates it says "your flight already flew". I almost had a heart attack but no we are all sitting here with no announcements about the delay. I had to go ask personally why the app said the plane left when it had not even arrived. Could do much better.
This app doesn’t even let you click the buttons because it’s not designed for a universal compatibility of iPhones. On my iPhone 14 Pro Max, the upper part of the app is out of the screen, makes it very hard to click the back button, I can give this junk only one star as it lacks the basic usability.
Do yourself a favor and book on Thai Aireays instead. Theis app itself is similar to Thai Airways, but noticeably worse. Flight times are wrong, delays are not reported, you can choose seats but then the airline reassigns them when you get to the airport. Staff was dismissive to discrepancies the app told us (a shock, the only rude people in Thailand).
Better use the website. This is a poorly written app. I had to enter all my credit card details 5 times until it worked. The buttons sometimes don't work either. The payment form finds many problems with my entry such as "address too long". Huh?! Then it keeps deleting and losing data already entered so I had to enter the same details over and over again. I'm surprised it worked in the end - I was about to give up. Verdict: Use the website instead it works just fine.
I am not able to use this app at all, cannot check the flight, cannot check in. The app keeps going back to the main page all the time. I have to use web browser instead.
This app fails to launch (iPhone 5; iOS 7.1). I get the logo screen, a long pause then crash. I wish you guys would fix this so I could see what your app actually looks like, as of right now it's useless.
App crashes every time I open it. Downloaded it twice, to no avail. Doesn't work on either iPhone or iPad. Not helpful! I fly Bangkok Airways frequently, so I hope this gets fixed soon.
