Great APP, very helpful, plenty of information to guide us and inform us about everything at the Barcelo hotels during our vacations. This APP never crashed and we used it everyday.
I found this app a bit confusing, and as a result, inadvertently cancelled my non refundable trip. I called and was given the run around, but eventually reassured that I would be refunded and went ahead and rebooked my trip - essentially paying double for it at the time. I was recently refunded. It took about 6 months. Quite frankly I am grateful to have that money back. I just hope that they fix the app so it’s not so easy to make this mistake. If you’ve already booked and try to make changes, decide it’s best not to try to make changes and simply try “x-ing” out, you will accidentally cancel your trip, and it’s not clear how to avoid this problem. While the app probably has its uses, I’d not try not to use it until you check in and it’s clear you won’t accidentally cancel your hotel.
If you want to access your reservations forget about it! You have to go through multiple windows and log in every time you open the app. Easier to forego the app and just go to the website on your browser.
The Barceló grand maya beach resort is not listed as one of the resorts.
This is really frustrating as I was really looking forward to using the map and reservation features on this app, but it mislead me to believe my hotel was here. Really disappointing, hoping this gets fixed in future updates!
This app is a joke. It simply connects to website, but unlike a stable browser the app crashes and logs out from the account. You have to enter login info over and over again
The only information that is somewhat complete is the kids club schedule. Times and activities are not 100% accurate. NO OTHER info is in the app. No shows, activities, etc...
We made 7am reservation through this app and received confirm message. However, when we went to their reception at 7am, they told us “we will start from 9am”. This app is super crazy, DO NOT TRUST & DO NOT USE this app!!!
This app does not work for the Barcelo Bavaro Palace or Beach Adult Side. It used to but now it says hotel not found. I will be returning here and would like the app to work.
