Especially when you’re looking for something sold out almost everywhere and you get the barcode, at the bottom of the app there’s an icon that Stores and when you click it, a list of stores that carry the item pops up! Solved a 2 week old problem in under 2 minutes because of this app! Only improvement would be if the app could pull up a map of stores near you that have it in stock.
I’ve had this app for a few months and it was awesome. I liked how it gave several options and prices. Unfortunately for the last week or two, it no longer scans barcodes. It looks like it’s scanning but never takes the barcode. So I manually typed the UPC and it will give me the list of items, click on the options and NOTHING. :(
Scanned 4 items: a pen, a whiskey, a bottle of cheap wine and a can of heavy cream. Only identified the pen. They claim to have 525 million items on their database, which may be but certainly not every day use common items. It’s useless.
Only used once. Scanned barcode and typed in. Product looking for was Jimmy Dean Loaded Sausage Bites. Scanner and typed in barcode kept bringing up a Bellwith Door Latch.
Update as of 08-23-2017: After I downloaded this version, the app runs smoothly and hasn't crashed yet. Changing my rating from 3 stars to 5! I would still pay for an ad-free version if possible but I really am thankful for the improvements! initial review: This app crashes constantly upon searching. Also, I would pay for an ad-free version. This app is really necessary for my work.
Every time I scan a bar code the app shuts down. I've restated the app, deleted it and tried again and nothing. Hard to give an app better that one star when it doesn't work...
