Very useful
We used this app for a trip to Florida, three nights down & three back. Basically, the app takes a lot of hassle out of finding reasonably priced hotels that will take dogs at a not too extravagant fee. Most of the hotels are in or around the larger areas, and if you want to spend the time, you can probably research potential stopovers for yourself, but I doubt that you will find better deals than what this app will arrange for you (be sure to create an account to get those rates from within the app). And the pet related reviews of specific hotels can be helpful. The promise of help with hotel issues is reliable. At one point, I screwed up the dates on a non-refundable reservation, so I contacted Ask Fido, received immediate assistance. It took Amy about 15 minutes to contact the hotel & get them to cancel the reservation. So right there, the app saved me $120. If you are unfamiliar with a particular hotel chain, be sure to check the hotel web site before booking. I booked at one hotel which turned out to be aimed at a target customer base which was much younger than we are, so while the hotel was perfectly fine for young people, it was not really comfortable for anyone our age.

Indispensable on a Road Trip! A “Pet App” with a “human” touch! (nailed it)
I love this company. It feels like it’s staffed by capable, courteous, professional human beings with actual people skills. This, I find is a rarity in customer service these days (I sound like a 72yr old curmudgeon, AKA my dad, but it’s true!) I’m writing this review because I just had the best customer service over the phone with BringFido, and I’m using the app on a road trip across the US without my husband. Just a lady with her dog, and BringFido! The guarantees BF make, they actually live up to. They really are like a travel/booking *concierge* service, not just a website that figured out how to fee you to death to make a profit. Pet lovers definitely designed this app. So what actually happened, is that I accidentally made a non-refundable booking on the wrong date (doy). I called Bring Fido, got a human right away who was super nice, and made me feel confident that she could get the hotel to refund the rate so I could rebook on the correct date. She was an angel and we had such a report that I think we should start a podcast. Honestly - if Catherine (my girl) doesn’t manage to get me my refund, I’m not even mad. She for SURE did her best.

Super Helpful Team, App Easy to Navigate
Just booked through this app for the first time for a cross country road trip. Through no fault but my own, I accidentally booked the same hotel twice on different days. I was concerned because it clearly stated “no refund” during the booking process. I called the help team and was greeted with a kind representative who patiently listened to my situation and made arrangements for another team member to call the hotel and see what they could do to help. I got a confirmation by email a few hours after that they had cancelled the incorrect reservation. I was very impressed with the customer service and willingness to negotiate with the hotel on my behalf. The app itself is also easy to navigate. It has filters based on size of pet, pet fees, location, amount per night, etc. It does this for hotels, activities, and restaurants. Overall a very helpful app- at least in the US as far as I can tell. I’d definitely recommend the app to family and friends with pets!

Traveling Pet Owners MUST HAVE
You know how (old) people reminisce about how good customer service used to be? This company exemplifies that sort of attentiveness and thoughtfulness. First off, their network of hotels is substantial, with a wide price range from which to choose. But beyond the robust selection, their personal attention to detail is remarkable. I have one dog and two cats. One evening, I made a reservation at a hotel through the app. Upon waking the very next morning, I noticed I had a voicemail from a gentleman from Bring Fido alerting me that the hotel I had reserved with has a 2-pet limit, a detail I had missed. He had already found an alternative hotel in the same area. When I returned his call, he informed me that he had called the hotel with the 2-pet limit to see if they would make an exception. I have spoken with at least 3 people from Bring Fido, and each of them have been friendly, helpful, and unabashed in their love for our furry friends. This is a company with heart who go the extra mile.

Kudos to Bring Fido!
We are driving across the USA from Phoenix to NYC with our Chihuahua. We were using Expedia and Booking to find hotels and restaurants that welcome pets traveling with people, but both sites were unreliable when applying the filter for pets. So I tried Bring Fido. It’s great! Hotels have been perfect so far. Restaurants still need work—maybe just more traveler reviews that confirm that restaurants are pet friendly or not really. When that gets worked out, Bring Fido will get 5 stars from us. One note: “Pet Friendly” restaurants in AZ, OK and NM have stated to us and to our friends in NM that they now take only “Service Dogs.” When asked, “since when?” they say, “This year.” Since you can buy Service Dog vests and more online, without proving your pet performs any service, this is a strange new phenomenon, intended to exclude pets from patios formerly accessible to them. So beware. Or buy a Service Dog vest for travel. Apparently it is illegal to ask you what service your dog performs, making the restriction even sillier.

Terrific for cross country solo trip with my boy!!
My golden Owen and I left from Upstate NY and traveled all the way to the coast of Oregon for over month and relied heavily on this quick way to locate dog friendly lodging, parks, things to do and places to eat. We even got disconnected two different times while I was on hold due to the crazy mountains we were in and each time one of the phone reps returned my call looking to see if we needed anything. I want to stress that Bring Fido really needs us users to LEAVE UP TO DATE REVIEWS! So many people don’t take the few minutes to do this and a lot of the great places listed have only old reviews which are no longer accurate and can hurt the businesses. We all need to stick together as fellow dog people who love to travel with our pets and spread the word on great dog friendly places! I will be posting reviews for all of the places we visited during our epic adventure! Im afraid that after i get back home Owen will be giving me dirty looks for having just “mediocre” days. We also purchased the Bring Fido RUFF Guide that they sell which highlights an awesome “to do” suggestion for a local business, trail, park, etc. along with a lodging suggestion for several towns throughout EACH state across the country. We had so much fun sniffing out many of these suggestions! THANKS FOR ALL THE HARD WORK BRING FIDO TEAM!!

Best thing to use for evacuation!
We were looking to evacuate from hurricane Ida to be safe, even though she wound up not coming our way, and Lake Charlie Pitbull Rescue made a Facebook post about using this app if “you’re evacuating with pets”. I have 2 big dogs and 1 small and knew I needed somewhere pet friendly. Made reservations in Houston through this app due to recommendations. We got to the hotel, they could not find my reservation in their system. It took 1 outgoing call to this company for me to get things taken care of. I spoke to a lady named Jessica, explained what happened and she promptly got to working with me and helped out tremendously!! I wound up get 3 phone calls from these people to make sure I was taken care of and was notified that I was getting a full refund from my original reservation! Thank you so much! Despite the hiccup, I will be using this app again in the future!♥️

Great hotel for dogs
This is the first time we have taken Buster to the beach so we wanted somewhere close to be able to put him in the room if he needed a break from the heat and sun. The room was great because there is no carpet and he enjoyed both the bed and the floor. The windows were low to the ground so it was easy for him to see what was going on. There were so many dogs there but you would never know it as it was clean and only 2x did we hear a dog bark from a room but it was literally for 10 seconds or less. He loved sitting on the downstairs patio at night with us just people watching folks returning from dinner. It was a great experience and we are planning a return trip this fall. They don’t have a designated pet area outside but there is a narrow strip of grass that encompasses the parking lot that works. We really felt welcome with him at the hotel.

LOVE this App!
When we decided last minute to take a trip down South to enjoy warmer Temps with our pup, I started to panic unsure if we would be able to find pet friendly restaurants, places to stretch our legs and more importantly lodging. So I began searching and found the BringFido website and app, what a godsend!! Took the stress out of the trip and made it completely enjoyable! Now I plan to use it at home too and for next year's great adventure!! Two negative things, 1) I couldn't figure out how to Save the places that I wanted to check out, so I had to go to the website and login to do this..it was a little awkward, not horrible just a minor work around; 2) a map feature where favorites could be viewed would be super helpful for long trips...if these features could be added, the app would be perfect!!

Only place I’ll be looking for hotels from now on.
I spent way too many hours looking through other apps to find a hotel that I could bring my dog. None of the other search sites let you filter for all the needs like 1) having a pet, 2) size of pet, 3) pet fees. I found myself finding a room, maybe being able to filter for a pet, then having to dig on the hotels website to try to find if they had a fee or size limitation. It was really tedious. Enter BringFido—I was able to find a room SO fast and it was EASY. The price was excellent and so was the hotel. I am so so glad this app exists. Makes finding a place to stay when you have a pet no different than finding a hotel when you don’t have a pet. This app completely removes the ‘hurdle’ of bringing a pet along.

So helpful!
In preparation for our recent trip I spent quite some time looking for pet friendly hotels near our destination, trying to find the closest one with a decent rating at the cheapest price. After much frustration I finally remembered the BringFido advertisement I had recently seen and decided to try it. I found, and booked the perfect hotel within five minutes. It was so easy. Then when we were close to our destination a day earlier than expected, BringFido helped me book an additional night in the same room so we didn’t have to change rooms for the two night stay. I didn’t have to do anything! I have since downloaded the app and won’t attempt to make any future trips without going through BringFido. Thank you so much for your help.

Perfect for road trips!
My wife and I decided to modify our honeymoon 2020 style, and turn it into a socially distanced road trip with our Husky. I discovered Bring Fido the day before we left, and it made the entire trip so much easier and more fun. All the information was correct and we just kept having positive experience after positive experience with our girl, thanks to the Fido recommendations. From breweries, to restaurants, to hotels, even to tourist spots, we got to spend eight days with our dog, without once being made to feel like she was a burden. I even made a bonehead move when I was reserving a hotel room through the app, accidentally booked for the wrong day, and the customer service number handled it for me and literally got the problem solved in under five minutes. Can’t recommend Bring Fido enough. Thanks again!

First Time at Larry’s
While traveling through Green Cove Springs, we stopped for lunch at Larry’s Giant Subs after finding them on the Bring Fido app. We had never been here before and we found friendly service and delicious subs! I got the Chicago’s Own Italian Beef which is like a French dip but spicy. Hubby had the Destroyer Italian Sub which is ham, prosciuttini, Genoa salami, cooked salami and provolone cheese. They only have Pepsi fountain drinks and I am a Diet Coke girl but that was available in canned soda form. Beer is also available. Although the shopping center in which Larry’s is located is 50% vacant, the parking and common area was neat and clean. We had brought our black lab with us so we ate outside at one of the 3 tables available. They also gave us water for her. I would definitely recommend Larry’s. And we will stop here again if we are ever back in Green Cove Springs.

I like it.
But dont love it. Its great to find hotels. Its awesome to read reviews on those hotels from the perspective of people who have brought their dogs there. I went in vacation with my new puppy and Bring Fido was very helpful when finding a hotel. But… thats pretty much it. It really doesnt offer much else other than… dog parks and trails. I mean places we already KNOW dogs are allowed. I personally don't need an app to tell me I can bring my dog to a dog park. Or that an event like bark in the park allows dogs. Uhmmm thats a given right? Or to tell me I can walk my dog on the street. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Id LOVE an app or website where it lists unconventional locations and events where dogs are allowed. For example… did anyone knows that the renaissance Fairs in CT allows dogs????? I didnt know. I’ve been using bring Fido for years and those events are listed which is such a bummer. Thats ONE GREAT thing to know because guess what? Most ren faires DONT allow pets. In CT you can bring your dog, cat, lizard… even bunnies! If im not mistaken you can even being YOUR pet goat. The SONO Mall in Norwalk, CT is also VERY pet friendly and they even have summer play time on certain Sundays. BRING FIDO is missing unconventional places and events.

Very Nice Stay
I have worked in the service industry for more then forty years from Atlantic City to Las Vegas and on to Coos Bay Oregon. I was looked after as if all the years of friendly and sincere service has returned to me. They will take good care of you and your pet. I needed very special care on my first stay. When I say special care, every person had a roll in my stay! My pet required attention and they never dropped the ball. I can never thank everyone enough!! When you stay there and need a soda or a snack late at night say hi to John. Thank you Bonnie and all of the friendly ladies that loved my pet Bob. If there is a way Bonnie will find it. Do your self a big favor plan now!!! There are many dog friendly locations nearby. Some are very beautiful, stay here.

Beware of making reservations through BringFido!
We attempted to make two reservations through BringFido for two consecutive nights. The first reservation completed successfully. When I attempted to complete the second reservation, I received a pop up notification that the reservation did not complete and I needed to remake the reservation, which I did successfully a few minutes later. It was not until the next day that I received notification from the hotel that I had two rooms reserved, not one. I called the hotel, called BringFido, emailed BringFido, cancelled the incorrect hotel room, talked to the hotel (but was never able to talk to an actual manager), and was ultimately charged for two rooms. So we paid approximately $150 for a room that the Choice Hotel was then able to resell! BringFido refused to even consider that the problem was caused by their computer program and said basically “so sorry, but not our problem”. So my reply to them is “so sorry, but never again”!

Great Resource
Bring Fido has never disappointed. Their recommendations (dog bone rating) and detailed information on accommodations (such no pet fee, cost of the pet fee, maximum weight & # of dogs, and large dogs accepted) and restaurants are very accurate not to mention extremely helpful when making decisions when traveling with our large active dog. I find the actual reviews from pet owners to be quite useful. Things such as “great beach front hotel but dogs are not allowed on the beach”, “dogs welcome for outside seating only” or “dog items on the menu” are just some examples. We have been so pleased with Bring Fido that we find ourselves using it locally when home too for activities, restaurants, & outdoor spaces like parks and trails. Thanks Bring Fido!

Very helpful
I discovered BringFido earlier this year and planned our trip to the northeast using it. I made reservations at 9 motels. What a time saver and money saver. Since all lodging is pet friendly I didn’t have to do that research. There was never an issue with having our dog and the majority of motels did not charge the pet fee, even though one was listed! We were always assigned the best room, in our opinion, first floor, close to the exit door. There were 3 motels that had problems with “third party payers” and required charging us again, then refunded it the next day. I don’t understand it, initially resisted it, but after hearing the same story the third time, realized it’s the motel policy.

Horrible experience
Booked a reservation at one of the hotels on the list and was horribly surprised when We arrived. The hotel was run down with drug use happening right outside of the office as well as in the parking lot. I finally got someone to call a manager who was hanging out in one of the rooms. The manager came to the office (smelling of alcohol)and told us that his computer was down and he was unable to accept any new reservations. I had already booked my reservation through the app. Even worse, I contacted Bring Fido directly in an attempt to get a refund. I have been working with them for the past two weeks to get this refund processed. It’s been a horrible experience. They don’t vett the hotels enough and the customer service is slow and non responsive. This is unfortunate because I really liked the idea of having one app where I can find pet friendly hotels. Don’t waste your money. Do the research on your own.

Not really pet friendly
Front desk gentleman was very cordial, quick and considerate when asking about my pet and didn’t make a big deal or make me feel guilty (pet owners get this) and at $30 per stay (not per night) we considered it very fair. It seems most “guests” thought it prudent to let their room doors SLAM shut with no regard to others. While not Microtel’s fault, just making others aware. FYI: There were literally 18 oilfield pickup trucks in the parking lot. They arrived late and left very early-very little sleep was had in our room. Worse, my dog was beside herself with all the noise. Top that with no SAFE grass area to do her business on. Grass fronting the freeway, the parking lot, gravel curb beds, or two foot high weeds in the back of the hotel were our choices. Not really pet friendly, ‘cept the deposit and room rate. Ya get what ya pay for.

Great customer service and extremely useful!
1. The service itself is indispensable if you are going on a road trip with pets. I was able to plan all my hotels in advance days before we left, taking the anxiety of finding a place to sleep out of the trip. 2. The default date in the app is the current date. I didn’t realize this and accidentally made a reservation for the wrong dates. Naturally, that hotel had a no refunds policy, but I called Bringfido customer service and Jessica called the hotel and got the refund squared away for me within ten minutes. If you have pets and you plan to travel, this app is one of the most important things you can have with you.

Pet friendly hotels made easy!
I used the app today to find a room where we can bring our senior Pomeranian. After planning a last minute trip and using multiple sites, I realized you could actually book and compare prices of rooms through the app. It tells you the pet fee upfront unlike every booking site I have tried. I did have to call the number to ensure it was a pet friendly room when making the reservation but the customer service guy was amazing. He would literally call every hotel I was considering trying to find a room with a view out of the options I had pulled up on my phone. Absolutely fantastic. I’m now obsessed with this app and highly recommend it.

Quick & Easy for Excellent Accommodations
I just finished a road trip in three states with my two dogs and used Bring Fido. All three places we stayed in were excellent- clean, quiet, and totally accommodating for the dogs. I also booked an Airbnb for part of the trip and wished I would not have. The Bring Fido places were much nicer and had designated potty areas, one provided a guest bag with items for the dogs, and were just no stress compared to what the "pet friendly" Airbnb required. I also had to call company on the first night because I hadn't saved the location address and was driving -- I was shocked an actual human being answered and immediately helped me! Wow!

I wish I found this app sooner!!
I came across this app when I was looking for a pet-friendly restaurant while visiting family in Savannah, GA. I’m seriously thrilled that there’s finally an app for people who love to travel with their pets. It has been difficult finding places to stay and restaurants to visit that allow my family to bring our beloved fur babies with us to enjoy our vacations. This app will allow our pups to come with us without having to find someone to take care of them while we’re gone. I’m so thankful for the creator of this website and app for their hard work to help families like mine to enjoy valuable time with our pets! Lilo, Lola, and Tucker (our fur babies) are also very thankful!

Great do it yourself
I really like this app but please be aware, it does not review or preview the facilities. The information on the motels are straight out of the motel description. We found that dog friendly only means they accept dogs ( or cats). I spoke with a wonderful Bring Fido rep and she helped me find a hotel but when I asked about what the facilities were like she said they don’t have that information and prompted me to check them out myself, to google map the motel and see what the grounds and surrounding area looked like. Perhaps to call the motel and get any questions I had answered from them. With this in mind the app and its reps are indeed wonderful! Sure made finding the motels easy! Reservations were very easy.

Unacceptable property
We recently used Bring Fido for our travel needs. In past, we’ve had great luck with them. No reason not to trust them now. However, after making a hotel reservation we arrived at the property. Double checking the address and info, there is NO WAY the property we were at was the same one listed on site. The place was at best frightening. Homeless people all over entrance to property, no door on office, only a walk up window and the housekeeping cart in the middle of the parking lot. Calling Bring Fido to help was a lesson in futility. We were on hold for 15 mins and never connected. We drove the neighborhood and found a more trusted property, called their direct site and booked a new room. No refunds issued by either party, Bring Fido or the hotel..we were now out money for 2 rooms for 1 night. Buyer beware….be prepared to lose twice the money you paid for the room…

This is an awesome company
We used bring Fido for the second time in 2021. What an awesome experience. The app is easy to use. The hotels were as represented in terms of their respective ratings and offerings. Earlier this week, the hotel we booked did not have a room for us as they had overbooked. They got us in one of their sister hotels and everything worked out fine. I spoke with the pet concierge at Bring Fido who was outstanding and so very helpful. Prior to speaking with the concierge, I had emailed the company and received a prompt reply. I am so pleased with Bring Fido and look forward to booking through them again. Great company with wonderful staff. Thank you.

Awesome App!!
My husband and I are traveling cross-country with our two German Shepherds, and The trip has been fun and virtually painless, thanks to this easy-to-navigate app. Thanks to Bring Fido, our dogs have been staying in comfortable motels where they are truly welcome, getting their excess energy spent by running around great dog parks (fun place for we humans to meet and greet), swimming in rivers and wading in creeks, and joining us at some very nice breweries. When I had one minor problem, customer service folks were prompt, friendly and took care of the issue. I highly recommend this app to anyone who likes to take their canine friend(s) — or other pet(s) on the road.

Beware The Reviews And Ratings Can Be Falde
On our recent trip we decided to use this app. The hotel reviews were pretty accurate. The restaurant reviews and recommendations were not. We experienced food that was plain bad. Multiple restaurants with flys everywhere. Restaurants that were reviewed as pet friendly yet required your pet to be on the other side of a fence instead of directly in the patio area. Reviews that did not reflect current conditions and standards. Midway through the trip when it became clear that the app could not be trusted I began to call ahead to verify the current status of the establishment. We changed several of our planned stops as a result of my homework. Traveling with a pet can be difficult enough without having to re-search in the middle of a trip for truly “pet friendly” locations. Use this app at your own risk.

Best Doggy Hotel in OC!
Came here last year and again this year. Upon entry the manager immediately greeted our pooch. She loved the attention 🐶. His office was across from our hotel room and she regularly wanted to stop in to visit. The hotel is beautifully appointed. The rooms are fresh, clean, and colorful with every convenience needed (full kitchen, dishes, dish soap, sitting area, etc). Continental breakfast is included. Cozy fire pit area out front and a small shopping area next door with a great dog-friendly restaurant!. And the hotel manager recommended local dog-friendly places we might want to our pooch to enjoy the great outdoors. Highly recommend!

No option for stores and other businesses
This could be a great “know before you go” app, but for things like hotels, your really going to look before you book on Expedia. And dog parks, they are all listed on your local park and rec site. Other than restaurants and dog ‘services’, this app really is missing a large portion of what I’d use it for day to day. It would be really useful to have a category for stores and other businesses, and their policies on dogs. There are the more well known ones like Home Depot... but how about Target, or my local furniture store, or my bank. A lot of them ‘are okay’ with your dog, but you never really know their policy unless you ask. That feels kind of awkward, so, like ‘is this okay’... and instead you error on the side of caution, and leave Fido at home.

Days Inn in Lonoke good for two Springers
The Days Inn by Wyndham in Lonoke, AR, was very good for the first stop on our cross country trip with two English Springer Spaniels. They are used to being free country dogs; but, they adapted well and the hotel was pretty much bare bones but perfect for our dogs. There were many grassy areas and the pet fee was only $10 per pet. We did not get in till very late but they will hold it for you until 4 AM as long as you have a card on file. If you wanted Wafgle House or MacDonalds they are both near by and a Walmart was down the road. If you are into jogging with your dog there was room for that. We will be back.

Can’t travel without BringFido!
Best app ever and seems to just get better! I’ve been using this app for years, remembering the long ago days of searching for a hotel by flashlight in the AAA tour books. Used to have to call BringFido to make a reservation; now that is only a click away. Reviews of the hotels are essential. Recently discovered I could find restaurants that accept dogs! How did I miss that. Hotels seem to like this company as well as they receive calls every several months to see how everything is working for them.

Absolutely WORTHLESS APP
I’ve been spending days now trying to find accommodations in the mountains and a place I could take my well behaved and overly intelligent dogs. This app shows you all kinds of possibilities but when it comes time to book it reroutes you to the VRBO website or AirB&B or another booking medium and it’s not even caring how many times you try and use filters to narrow your dates or number of rooms when you get rerouted invariably your DATES aren’t available so it’s a vicious cycle over and over to look at places or get ideas but forget actually booking any accommodations from the Bring Fido app! It’s things like this that make me totally aware of the amount of FAKE reviews these apps get posted!!!! I uninstalled it and went directly to VRBO which isn’t user friendly either to resume my search.

We love the idea behind the app
What a great app! We travel for a living with our two year old “Yorkie” and use “BringFido” everywhere we go to find restaurants , pet friendly hotels and dog parks. Two things that would make this app better would be if they added stores that were pet friendly like Lowe’s and Home Depot for example where both welcome leashed Pets as well as if administrators would verify if locations were truly pet friendly before adding them to the list. We tried to go to a restaurant in El Paso that was listed as pret friendly but really wasn’t. Other than that I love this app!

Serves the purpose!
Arrived at 2 am from a long drive , coming from Michigan. Check in was fairly easy, and staff was nice! We had a corner room towards the back, room was clean with laminate floors, which was nice traveling with pets! I would have given a 5 star review but there were cats hanging around outside our door and our dog goes crazy when she sees cats , and also a bunch of trash behind in the woods! Not a fan of the room access opening out into the outside but it was fine for resting for a couple hours! The free breakfast was in the lobby area and actually it wasn’t too bad at all! Very clean and well put together!

Great for travel but needs a ‘report’ function
Fantastic app, a great thing to have when traveling with dogs or even just finding a pup-friendly place around town to eat. I think though, since the pandemic and so many places having to close their doors, it would benefit from a ‘report’ function to let people and the app makers know if a business is permanently closed. There have been a couple of times I’ve looked up a place to eat to find out that it’s been gone for a year+. But for the most part, I highly suggest you try this app when traveling with your 4 legged companions.

Our newest dog, Luna, is a rescue from the streets of Manhattan, literally. She’s had SO many “firsts” this year! BringFido has been so very helpful in finding hotels, dining, and activities that allow me to keep her with us. Luna just completed her 2nd vacation in 2 months. The hotels we stayed at were great. We brought her to BringFido recommended restaurants and activities. We even found doggie parks for her ....because a pup’s gotta run around and play! We already made reservations for our next adventure because it turned out that Luna likes to travel!

Easy to use with a lovely interface. The app located dog friendly lodging from the nearly middle of nowhere to a classy boutique hotel in a major cosmopolitan area. It was great to make reservations through the app knowing that a pet friendly room would be available on check-in. Helpful reviews and photos from other travelers. Making reservations was easier than even on the major online travel sites. This is one of those apps that will stay on my phone in my travel folder.

Very useful app!
Very happy with this app! Used it over a long road trip with two bigger dogs. Extremely helpful to find good motels for us and pups! Also used it to find dog parks. Although it is not totally comprehensive the app gives lots of info and plenty of options for accommodations and activities (parks). Have not used it for services etc. I even booked motels directly through the app and it was easy. Called their support number once to confirm dog-friendly rooms were available - they were also very friendly and helpful. A must-have app for traveling with dogs! 🐶

Great customer service!!!
I had made a 2 night reservation in NYC with my dog for a surgical procedure. Last minute, I found out that her procedure had been cancelled. I called BringFido to cancel out my reservation (non-refundable). I did not expect any refund, but the representative said she would submit it and see what they could do. I just got an email stating I got a full refund! Wow! Unexpected, and made my night! I’ve been using the app for several years as we travel from NY to FL, and it has been a huge asset. Thanks, BringFido!!!!🐶

Good app, competitive pricing, some recommendations
I like this app, but a few observations: 1. I wish that the “payment confirmation” screen would show the dates being reserved. The last thing we always want to do when booking a reservation is confirm not only the venue, but also confirm the date and time. All of that is on the prior screen, but it really has to be on that final payment confirmation screen. 2. I minor technical problem: During a reservation payment, got an error with something effective to “there was a problem connecting to the BringFido servers”. I then hit the button again, and it worked. But I ended up with two reservations, which I had to manually cancel one of them. That could be more graceful. It’s only happened once after many reservations, but it was annoying. 3. I’m looking forward to an iPad rendition. It’s silly to use iPhone app on a big iPad. But other than that, a great app.

Life Saver!
I don’t travel a lot with my 85 lb German Shepard but this app makes it possible! I REALLY appreciate knowing which hotels on my path accept large dogs and if there’s a pet fee. With COVID, I’m driving more and flying less. This app takes the stress out of traveling with a pet. I also like that other pet owners rate the hotels and it is compared with general reviews as well. For the first time, I called Fido for same day reservation support. The customer service was great!!! I typically call the hotel directly, but will change my ways!

If you love your dog, this is the app for YOU
We just got a puppy last year, and we take her everywhere, thanks to BringFido. We just planned our Labor Day weekend in Saugatauk and used this app to plan for a dog friendly place to stay, dog friendly restaurants, where the local dog parks and dog beaches were in the area, to a retro boat ride that she could join us on! I use it at home too for local activities and events. I can’t recommend this app enough and I feel like they are just getting started.

Tasty lunch on covered patio with friendly staff and tasty food
We had a friendly waitress who brought our dog water and showed us a photo of her standard poodle. Our food (Mahi sliders with homemade potato chips and boneless wings and buy one get one beer) was delicious. There are tv’s everywhere if your wanting to see a game. It was raining lightly when we first arrived so were looking for a place like this. Would definitely go back. There are green places nearby for walking your pup too and plenty of parking. (Even a petco nearby).

Great app in theory, highly inaccurate information though.
Everything about this app is fantastic, except the places it lists. In our recent experiences many places listed on here as dog friendly actually are not and there are many dog friendly places that are not included in search results. It is unfortunate, as a dog owner we take our fluffy butts all over the place and it can be difficult finding places they can go with us. I wish the information contained was more accurate. If it was this app would be absolutely indispensable.

We Use This App for Everything
I can’t tell you the number of times we have used this app while on the road with our dog. Whether last minute bookings on hotels when roads highways get shut down in bad weather or finding restaurants that are dog friendly when we are out of town, we have never been let down. We had one issue with a hotel being less than what it was advertised and they quickly helped us with a reimbursement. I have nothing but great things to say about Bring Fido.

This app and service is really great!
We used BringFido for a holiday car trip with our two small digs—a Frenchie and a mutt. We needed pet-friendly lodging in 4 cities; the app was superb in quickly finding options and then making the reservation. Their communications were also great—one hotel no longer had a certain type of room, and BringFido found that out immediately during their reservation confirmation and notified us right away. This app is so helpful for me that I’ve moved it to my home screen! Very good app and service!

Really Good
Traveling from the Oregon coast to Boise. Food was great. Fries got good reviews from my family. Those who got burgers said they were tasty. My salmon was perfectly done—not too dry but not undercooked. And of course, like everyone else on Yelp, we thought the Lobster Mac n Cheese was super yummy. We sat outside with other dog owners. The only reason we didn’t go for five stars is that we are kind of snotty foodies and we had to sit close to a semi busy street. But as far as dog friendly places go, this is a nice break from drive ins. Service was fast and professional. We are not beer drinkers, but they seem to have lots of options if you are.

Has something changed??
This app is usually amazing and has helped me and my family (and two large dogs) dozens of times. But recently I’ve been looking up trip ideas and the places BringFido shows me are all unavailable (or greatly over priced) when I click the links to book through the host specific apps, hotels or vacation rentals. How is it that BringFido shows an option for a specific price but when I try to book it, that is not available or is a much higher price? Sorry for the rant, but I’ve had much much better experiences with this app previously.
