If you can’t connect with the app for concert mode it’s probably because your Army bomb is fake. I had an army bomb as a gift from my sister, but she bought it online and it costed a whole $70+. When I tried going on concert mode on the app it wouldn’t let me press yes. It could still do self mode but concert mode would not work. So I waited and thought it would pair at the pairing both they have at the concerts. So when I got to the concert and went to pair the army bomb, the one my sister bought me, the guy asked tried to pair it but it wouldn’t work. He asked if it was bought online and I said yes, then he said it was a fake because it wouldn’t pair. So I had to buy a whole new one for $57 at this booth selling them. TO SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME JUST BUY ONE ONLINE OR AT THE CONCERT! And trust me, if you go to buy one at the concert you will get one. Go early, they sell SO many army bombs! HOPE THIS HELPS!
my army bomb is official (i bought it at the metlife concert it’s ver3) and since october of 2020 it hasn’t connected to bluetooth on this app and on weverse. it used to work in 2019 perfectly but now it doesn’t after the recent updates. im worried because i don’t know if this means the bluetooth feature won’t work at concerts or if this is just an app problem but this is clearly a common issue among many armys. i don’t know what to do cause ive restarted the app, restarted my phone, changed the batteries to the army bomb, literally everything and it’s still not working in 2021. kinda sad because they keep updating and adding new features to the app but my bluetooth won’t connect, it just keeps flashing blue. even when i try connecting on weverse it says “disconnected official lightstick” which makes me believe this is an app issue and not my army bomb. unsure if the people running this app are aware of this issue but THE BLUETOOTH DOES NOT WORK ! it’s aggravating seeing the updates to the app but no fixes for the army bombs that won’t connect 😒 please to the people running this app fix the problem for people who have official lightsticks that won’t connect !!!!!!!! my army bomb does work by itself with the regular lights though
I love playing with the lights just for fun. Also y’all shouldn’t buy it from anywhere else but at the concerts or Weply (OFFICIAL app that bighit uses to sell merchandise from their groups) just in case it wouldn’t work. I know that the lightstick are always sold out but I suggest you wait and buy it at the official places so you won’t get ripped off and you can save money. Also if the price of the Ligjtstick is low like $10 or something it’s probably a fake or if the price his high like $70 it’s probably fake. Usually the lightsticks are around $50 just be careful not to get ripped off!!
My ARMY Bomb Ver. 3 is OFFICIAL. I bought it straight from the Bighit website in 2018. It worked perfectly fine connecting to Bluetooth both concert mode and self-mode. I used it during 2018 Oakland LY Tour and 2019 Rosebowl SY Tour and 2020 BangBangCon. I NEVER leave the batteries in because I’m scared of damage and I’ve never left it in poor conditions. I TREASURE IT SM LOL. I bought NEW batteries earlier today and already reset the app and even tried the Weverse app but no luck!! It flickers blue but isn’t able to connect. I’m very saddened by this. It turns on well just won’t connect to Bluetooth. I hope HYBE isn’t making the app updates JUST to accommodate the new ARMY Bomb. It would be upsetting given that many ARMYs and I paid GOOD money for it. It doesn’t seem to be just me though so I’m glad I didn’t damage it or anything, but yeah. Get it together HYBE you’re on THIN ice already buddy :/ “If I could give you 0 I WOULD, but for now I’ll give you a ONE”
the army bomb works great with the app, and during concerts its a 10/10. but with the recent update for the blackout thing, first of all it doesnt rly work, and secondly the bluetooth disconnects after around seven seconds. i just updated the app like five minutes ago since the old version didnt have blackout. the old V of the app did not disconnect at all and let me use selfmode perfectly. but with the new update its not working properly at all. ive only used the army bomb SE with the new update, but i know its not the lightstick itself because it does work with an older version of the app. i hope this will get fixed soon💜
This app works perfectly with my army bomb, and when I went to their concert everything worked how it was supposed to. BUT!! I didn’t see anything that said I had to flip it on to “self mode” or “normal mode” (whatever it’s called) after I put it on Bluetooth mood. I was frantically trying to figure out what was going on and I ended up trying to reconnect it over five times because I didn’t know. The instructions didn’t say anything about it either. I had given up and was just going to put it on regular mode and then once I did everything was working perfectly. Maybe I’m just duMb but I thought I would share this.
Works with Bluetooth very well! Used it for the concert and it was connected to the rest of the ARMYs bombs during the performances and I really enjoyed it. IT DOES SAY HOWEVER!!!!!!that it has medium/ low battery right when NEW batteries are inserted BUT I only used the same 3 batteries all day for the concert and it never ran out of juice and lasted for the night! I do recommend that you remove the batteries if you aren’t using them since it might rust the inside. Hoped this help :)))
This is a useful app for syncing up your light stick for concerts or to sync it up even when you're not in a concert (aka. self mode) but it would be cool if you guys could sync up a certain BTS song and the light stick in self mode would change colors. For instance, I played IDOL and then the light stick would change colors on its own. It would be nice to add this option, but I'm not pushing the creators to add this and I know there's a color pad on Self Mode, but it would be cool if the light stick would change colors on its own if you play a certain song. Anyways, thanks for reading my recommendation!! :)
I don’t know what’s wrong with my army bomb I just recently went to BTS concert at MetLife stadium and bought my army bomb wither batteries for $57 but for some reason in the concert my army bomb wouldn’t change certain colors and I thought oh they might be having some technical issues so I didn’t think much of it but when I got back to the hotel and went on self mode I noticed that my army bomb doesn’t change certain colors like red, pink, or yellow if anyone knows what’s wrong with my army bomb it would greatly be appreciated if you could help me figure it out
I just got my army bomb 2 days ago and everything is fine with it except for when it connects to bluetooth for self mode. When it connects I can only change the color for some amount of time or very slowly and if I don't it goes back to bluetooth mode where it's blinking blue. But it's still able to stay on one color...It's just when I try to change colors ”quickly”. I know if it's the app or my army bomb. But if its my army bomb then nevermind. And sometimes when I try to look at the battery, it isn't there at times.
The last update that was applied for this app does not allow me to connect my army bomb anymore. When I went to the concert on May 4th, everything was perfectly fine. Also when I go to Weverse and try to connect it to go along with the music videos, it doesn’t work properly anymore. It connects and then says that the light stick is disconnected. It also worked fine when I connected it when the first Bang Bang Con was streamed. I honestly don’t want to buy another army bomb at the moment, but I may have to.
THIS APP IS AMAZINGGGG!!!✨ however as a few days went by on self mode I set the color but it would change by its self I reloaded the app alot but it didnt work for example if I set the color to purple then went to shower when I came back it was orange left again then it was yellow. And sometimes when i try to set it to like pink the dot is on pink but the light stick is bright blue other than that the app is amazing and is the color changing a problem on my side? So I give the app 4 stars ☺️
The bomb works perfectly when you turn on the white light, but when you connect it to the app and attempt to change the colors around in self mode, it automatically disconnects and returns to the blinking blue light after a short amount of time. I notice this problem both when attempting to connect to Weverse music videos with my SE, and also when trying to use the app with my SE. Very worried, saw other people had the same issue, hoping that it will not affect it’s performance in concert mode (when that time comes).
I can’t wait to use my army bomb at the concert. But when I went to play with the colors on Self Mode, it would only change to shades of blue and green. Even when I had it set to change to red, yellow or orange it would stay green or blue. I don’t know if there’s something wrong with mine or if it’ll start working properly by the time the concert comes around.
I have both Army bomb version 3 and 3.5 (Map of the Soul Special Edition). I recently got my SE army bomb (from Weverse, so it’s not fake), and I’m having problems with it staying connected to the self mode. It will work for a couple seconds, then suddenly disconnect. Interestingly, this does not occur with my v.3 Army Bomb. Similarly, my SE army bomb has no problem staying connected to the Weverse MVs (the ones that can connect to the army bomb, including daechwita and mic drop). I am assuming this is a bug within the app (and not my army bomb). Please fix this!
I have a version 3 official light stick that was purchased at the concert. I have an iPhone. I used to be able to connect to self mode, but now it no longer connects. It is flashing the blue light. I also can’t connect to Weverse mv. I used to be able to connect previous to last update. I’ve heard different stories: you have to have a 4G phone and support to iPhones has been discontinued. What’s the issue? Will you roll out another update that connects iPhones? I’m not buying a SE light stick if it’s only useable at concerts after going to the connection booth. Please address this issue.
I am sure this isn’t fake because it worked at the concert and I got it at a stand at the concert. But, I recently got a new phone and had to re-download the app. But since it was raining at the concert, I threw out the manual and the box because it got wet. But now I have it on my lap right now and I tried connecting it but it won’t connect. It says “BLE is unavailable: Turn on BLE” so someone please explain what the heck BLE is so I can turn it on and play with all the colors on the app once again!!! :(
I got my MOTS SE lightstick from Weverse global shop but when I tried to connect it to this app, after following all of the steps, it simply did not want to connect. I also tried to connect it to weverse to the music videos and it simply did not want to connect either. The lightstick just continued to flash blue. But then when I tried connecting the lightstick to this app and weverse, it worked flawlessly?! I want to connect it to my phone but I can’t 😭
Hi Army! Just a reminder to all to follow the steps to pair your Army Bomb during concert. Once successfully paired, you will need to push the button all the way up. i made the mistake of not doing this during the concert and was wondering why my Army Bomb wasnt synced the rest. Once i pushed the button up that issue was sorted. There will be Army Bomb pairing booth at the venue as well to help you!
When I connect the bomb to the self mode it will connect but all for a short period of time. If I go through the different colors to fast or too slow it disconnects automatically. I just got it yesterday from online so I don’t know if this is happening because it might be fake (praying it’s not). So is this a normal thing that’s happening to everyone.
don’t get me wrong this app is really great except the face that when i have to check the battery for my lightstick it doesn’t properly work. it always says the lightstick is going to die even when i put in new batteries it still says the same thing. my guess it is just the app not reading it properly. i really hope they get this fixed especially during concert tours!💜
Of course I wouldn’t know the exact answer, but since Apple released the new 13.4.1 update I haven’t been able to connect my Army Bomb to my iPhone or my iPad. Before the update I could, so I think this app needs to have a little update to fix the problem. I hope this reassured some of you! Thank you. :)
I have an official lightstick version 3 from the Love Yourself Speak Yourself tour. It will not pair with Bluetooth on the app or on Weverse or online concerts. I got lucky and managed to pair it at concert but the app still made it seem like I hadn’t paired it. It just suddenly started working in the middle of the concert. I would appreciate some help making it work since attending concerts costs a lot of money; I would like to enjoy the experience of being part of the ARMY Wave. And yes it is an official lightstick.
The only reason that I rate a 1 is because I got my army bomb today, I updated the app and I try to connect my army bomb to Bluetooth but it said “BLE unable” and I clicked the little army bomb in the top right corner and I put my army bomb next to the screen and it did not work please fix it I really want to put my army bomb on Bluetooth mode! Thank you first army bomb and I can’t put it on Bluetooth please fix it!! ok so I figured it out but now the app does not connect my army bomb it says “searching” when my army bomb is right next to the screen
I recently just got a new iPhone and now the app connects to my army bomb just fine. But when I attended the concert in LA, I still had a Samsung and so my army bomb wouldn't connect like everybody else's and it took away from my experience just a little bit because I was distracted by the fact that my army bomb was blue while everyone else's was red lol. so yeah, I just wish it was compatible with Samsung as well :)
I went to the MetLife concert and it was great! The army bomb made it a better experience! The app worked fine, both concert and self mode! Absolutely love it and will use it if I go back! But if you guys are new to going to a concert, don’t turn on your army bomb before the concert, it drains the battery and may turn off during the concert.
I love that the app is finally out but for some strange reason my Bluetooth isn’t connecting to the app. I have my Bluetooth on, waiting to pair but it doesn’t. I kept on trying. I would turn it off and turn it back on, nothing. I deleted the app and then reinstalled it, again, nothing. Idk now.
I’m assuming that one of Apple’s updates is interfering, but I tried connecting my bomb ver 3 today via weverse and the army bomb app and it won’t even show up. The lightstick doesn’t even pop up on my Bluetooth menu! It’s very upsetting and concerning this is happening and I see people have left reviews for months regarding this issue that still hasn’t been resolved. Could someone please provide a solution for this? I’d hate for there to be a virtual show soon and I can’t get it to connect!
My friend bought me this lightstick at the concert in LA sometime in May. She sent it to me and I opened it to use the self mode just to see what it looked like and pink, red and yellow doesn’t work. It only gives me just different shades of blue AND green. My friend told me that when she used it at the concert she was also having the same problem even when it was connected during the concert 😕😕 tbh idek what to do with it now
Yesterday I went to the Rose Bowl Speak Yourself concert, and the app connected and everything and I registered my seats. But then, when it registered, the app wouldn’t let me press the ‘yes’ button and I wasn’t able to use the army bomb during the concert. Please fix this.
I have the same problem with the person who posted a very recent review. When I change the color of my Army Bomb, it stops or disconnects, then it flashes a blue light. I can only change it for a certain amount of time, sometimes it quickly disconnects. I wonder if this is some kind of issue or glitch. I sent an email to the developer, hopefully they get back to me soon.
I really loved my lightstick I bought it on online but it doesn't connect to the app but my other friend bought it on online but her lightstick was able to connect to the app but mine would not work so I just had wasted my money for a light stick that doesn't work 😢
I have been trying to connect my army bomb but every time I try to connect it it keeps saying connect even when it says hold close to the screen I do and still says the same thing and when I went to settings to see if I needed to connect it the thing for my devices on Bluetooth keeps loading and this has never happened before right when I got my army bomb it it never stopped loading
I went to the last showing of the BTS Yet to Come cinemas in 4D and was using the v 3 army bomb and it worked in selfie mode but then randomly turned off (new batteries and I baby my lightstick) and then would not connect. My MOTS worked perfectly fine though! Please look into this issue as I have seen I’m not the only one who has had this issue (and it’s been over a year since their complaints)
If u are going to a concert and connecting it with the app Do all the steps as normal And them put it on normal mode(which is the switch all the way up) The bomb won’t change colors based on the concert if u leave the switch in Bluetooth
During he concert it was working perfectly fine but when it came to changing the batteries it just won’t turn in and many people are saying that the party that holds the 3 batteries is not going up fully to the party that turns in the army bomb and this is a problem because the only was you can get your army bomb fixed is you have to wait for the next BTS concert and that’s not until next year or sum sort
I got my Army bomb version 3 in 2018 I ordered it on Cokodive !! i was able to connected Bluetooth on my iPhone but now it’s 2022 it doesn’t connect anymore I don’t know why i rarely use my lightstick I don’t think it’s fake I remember I was able to changed the colors while using self mode :( and on Weverse I was able to connect the mv with my lightstick💔 plzz I hope y’all fix the app soon <33 !!
I got my army bomb a while ago and have been trying to connect to self mode but everytime it gives the loading symbol but doesn’t connect so I click retry again. It keeps happening but it won’t connect. My army bomb is always near or next to my phone and it’s on the Bluetooth setting but it just won’t connect. Please help! Update I’ve kept trying and it’s still not working even with all the updates recently
Yeah this app is still broken, mine is an official lightstick from rose bowl stadium and it hasnt been working. I tried everything like changing the batteries. It worked at the concert because obviously it's an official lightstick if I got it at the concert and I rarely ever touch it so my lightstick isnt broken or something. i hope they fix this before the concert dates because at this point it's not whether it's official or not..the app js just broken.
I love this lightstick the Bluetooth works grade live all the colors I’m excited to use it at my concert but I have a problem/concern. I just put brand new batteries into the lightstick and when I went to check the battery status it said it was on medium and might have to change the batteries. But they are like brand new!
I love the army bomb and I am very happy with it, it turns on just fine and everything but the Bluetooth isn’t connecting. I have my Bluetooth on and the army bomb is close to my screen but it just won’t connect, can anyone help?
I bought my Army Bomb ver 3 in 2019 and it was working up until late 2020. I am trying to prepare it for PTD in LA but it’s not working. I changed the batteries, updated the app, updated my iPhone software. But it is still not working :( Is it the app? I will have to go to a pairing booth at the concert but I really wished it could work so I can pair it easily before I head to the concert.
for a couple of days i thought my army bomb wasn’t working and i broke it or something because it wasn’t connecting but i figured it out( only for iphone ofc 🥴). this is what i did. i disconnected all of the things i had connected to my bluetooth and then turned off my bluetooth and force restarted my phone. then i turned my phone back on and i turned the bluetooth back one and opened the app to try again and everything worked fine!
I’m trying to connect it to concert mode because I have a concert today for BTS and as I try to press “yes” when it asks me if the colors correspond to the app (which it does) it doesn’t allow me to select the “yes” option so I’m not sure if that’s gonna affect if my army bomb gets registered to my seat.
I got my ARMY Bomb Ver. 4 today (the MOTS Special Edition) and it works great! I can connect it to Weverse and also use it manually. However; when I try to change the color using the app, the color only lasts 2-3 seconds tops and then it starts blinking again. I have tried restarting my lightstick and also deleting the app but nothing changes.
I bought light sticks online that would sync with the blue tooth but when it comes to registering in concert mode, it won’t allow you to complete registration. You are better off buying light sticks at the event!
Bought my lightstick at the Rose Bowl concert and both the concert and self mode worked fine there. Once I got home self mode stopped working for me. It keeps telling me to retry when I try connecting it. I tried connecting it to my friends phone and self mode worked on hers, but for some reason it won’t work on my phone.
I love BTS, like a lot. I went to their New Jersey concert a few weeks ago. It was so amazing, I cried!😂 I think that I am a fan girl. My bias is Jimin, just because of his vocals, amazing dances, and of his cuteness. The app is really amazing!!! I love it! Thank you bighit for making BTS possible. I will die without them. - Rowan
I tried doing concert mode and it just says “confirm” and goes away, idk if I need to wait longer but I hopefully my army bomb isn’t fake👁👄👁 I don’t think it would tho cuz I bought it from a shop that was on big hits Instagram story💀
I love this app! in my case it hasn’t done me wrong it connects perfectly, I have the SE lightstick. Also don’t buy online from untrusted sellers you will most definitely not get an original ! Insta: zikua9 :D
