Since I’ve started using this app, I’ve made 4 posts (in two days). I receive notifications that I have replies to my posts, but when I open the app and go to the post, the replies aren’t present. Very frustrating and i hope the devs get it together.
I like the reputation system a lot, and the interface is simple enough. However, in the mobile version, I can never see past the first posted response on every post, which makes it very frustrating/basically useless.
Campuswire team, these bugs make the iOS app nearly useless. - There’s no refresh so you can’t see latest Q&As. This is sad for an App that is supposed to help make communication easier. - You can’t send links to posts to classmates and teaching staff from the App.
App has tons of replicable bugs when trying to reply to posts or open menus. Just about the only thing it’s good for is viewing posts. If you’re doing anything else, you’ll have to use the browser version.
If you’re going to give somebody a graded test, make sure you’re giving them all the information needed to answer the questions. Many questions asking you to refer to graphics that simply aren’t visible.
Using this for a course is a nightmare, app crashes when you try to search, after pressing submit sometimes your answer just disappears and the unanswered questions tab literally just doesn’t work - it both shows some answered questions and doesn’t show some unanswered questions. Do yourself a favor and don’t get drawn in by the better looking UI - The app literally just doesn’t work and you will be a million times better off using piazza.
I genuinely despise using this app for school. My first complaint is how often I have to log in. I feel like it rarely stays signed in and I'm always having to log back in which is just annoying. Second, it's just a nightmare trying to sign into this app sometimes. In the beginning of my quarter I could not sign in at all using my school email, and I tried both iterations of it. It just kept asking me to make a new one and that I didn’t have one associated with either email.
That’s about all I can say. Keeps telling me to update it after I had the newest update. Re-installing from scratch does the trick but... still crashes when it sees fit. For example, because there’s no feedback on whether I have or haven’t clicked the upvote (it’s literally just calling in the arrow if I have upvoted...) I accidentally spammed it three times. Now whenever I visit the post the app crashes. Once my answer didn’t send and I clicked to retry - app crashed and now crashes every time I go visit that post (also now that post has 2 replies from me somehow?) Honestly think making the app just a wrapper for a mobile version of the site would be a better option. This is just painful to use.
I have make sure notifications for Campuswire has turned on but I never received notifications. There’s only notification setting in the app, only email notifications. Piazza’a notification is much better.
This app is pathetic and should be removed from the App Store. It is entirely unusable. List of bugs - does not refresh posts - does not show latest comments even when you get notifications for them - your text disappears while you are typing - deep links don’t work when sharing
