Overall the app is great the functions work. Never crashes always transfers to online well. Readable and Useable. Wish the strike out feature was available though.
I wish I had known about this sooner I used this for Level 2 after using another qbank with less than desirable results for Level 1. These questions were much more like the ones on the COMLEX and the explanations were also better. I ended up scoring >200 points higher on Level 2. See you guys for Level 3!
COMQUEST is excellent for COMLEX prep. I found it to be the most accurate test bank to the actual level 1. I use it daily on my computer to prep for level 2. Having said that...this app is terrible for use on the iPad Pro. It is basically an upscale iPhone app. It works but the interface looks so terrible on the iPad that the app was not usable. Very disappointing user interface considering the content is excellent. Don’t even bother with it until they release an iPad app, which they claim is in development.
On the iPad the text appears crisp in like size 6 font lol, to actually read, you zoom in and text is blurry, but legible. Does not rotate so can’t function in landscape mode. Overall I use this app but interface reminds me of the 1990 video game Oregon Trail. It’s old like a peanut butter jelly sandwich from yesterday, but you eat it anyway because there’s no other option.
I love the questions, but the app needs some improvements - lab values and tables in the answers are too small to read easily on a phone and most of the extra graphics don’t work on a mobile device. Browser works fine, but most of my studying is on the go and I’d love it if they’d look at fixing these issues!
Obviously I have to study somehow and the app gets it done. But the app needs improvements. The highlighting is variable and sometimes it won’t highlight, won’t clear highlights, or simply just adds a space instead of highlighting. Also for some reason the app lets me click with the cursor and start typing over the explanations! Also it needs a landscape mode soon.
Very convenient to have the app so I can do questions quickly whenever I get a chance but I wish I was able to strike through and highlight. It is also not friendly in prompting me to do CDM cases. Regarding the questions it's great I used it for all three steps
On par with other top question banks in my opinion. Not a lot of graphics, but good explanations and specific insight to what is high yield on test day.
The box for vitals is tiny, and you cannot enlarge it. “Show answer” selection is at top right of question which means you have to scroll to top of question after selecting an answer.
Poor graphs and very small size font on both iPhone and iPad, not a user friendly app at all. The content is good as far as questions and explanations. I also like the score tracking graphs comparing overall average and passing scores.
*This app needs an update. -Going on your computer is better than this. -Graphics are poor on app. -Useable, but more of a hassle than on your pc. -Needs to have a way for a horizontal landscape view.
Works great on the phone, but on iPad it just presents like an iPhone app with no support for landscape view. Really a shame because this is a great QBank for COMLEX and SHELF exams.
I really like COMQUEST, but this app needs some serious work as of late June 2017. If there's an "exhibit", it will cover up the actual question part of the vignette!!!!! I'd rather log in via Safari and use COMQUEST that way....
I have been using this app as I prepare for COMLEX, and have found that it is perfect for questions on the go! After taking 2 COMSAE exams, I feel as if the questions line up well, and the explanations are thorough and beneficial. On top of that, the customer service is amazing. After finding a glitch in the app and reporting it, they were quick to fix the error, and push a new update in a matter of days. Amazing product and team!
