Needs improvement on notifications
This app is convenient for me because I hate carrying money. The one thing I wish it had was notifications when your balance is low. I tried to use it at work and didn’t realize my balance was low and couldn’t buy anything because I had left my wallet in the car. So, low balance notifications would be great!

Takes money off my debit card but doesn’t add funds to my account
I downloaded this app as a way to get snacks at school without having to go to my car for my card. I went to add funds using Apple Pay before we had a break during a 4 hour seminar. I wanted to only add $10 as I don’t usually use this app. I got the notification from my Apple Pay that the $10 was removed from my bank. But the app still shows $0 in my funds. I opened a help ticket to try to get this solved but no response. I tried adding $10 again and same exact thing happened. It shows that the money was taken out my bank. But shows $0 in funds on the app. I had to go without a snack because the funds would not push through and even after I replied about the second attempt still no answer. I have $20 sitting in purgatory because I can’t get an answer and this app is awful. I noticed there was an update so I downloaded that but the problem still persists

Horrible Service
Firstly, as I have experienced, as well as other associates- food always tastes stale. The sandwiches taste all the same-it’s what we call the “freezer taste”. Then you have to watch for expiration dates, definitely check when purchasing from their services, sometimes the food is expired. The machines never work correctly, I’ve been asking for about a year for them to fix the fingerprint scanners, they never work correctly. I used the same finger everytime and the Canteen system always gives me a different balance from my application. My company uses this service in primarily all their locations and it’s horrible. Horrible service, please, if you’re looking to provide food services for your associates please use a different vendor. My app never matches what’s on the machine at work either. My application told me I had $10, the machine said I had $3.00 lol. At one point this service was great now they just don’t care.

Update caused more issues
The overall performance of the app has been decent since using it but the May 2022 update rendered it useless. The “added security measures” didn’t do anything but prevent access to my account. Even after resetting the password & having customer service provide me a new pin (my previous pin worked fine until the update) I can no longer access my account. Foolishly I put my trust in the app and added funds to my account for ease, yet now here I sit out of those funds as my only option is to create a new account. I’d highly suggest skipping the account all together as this app is now worthless.

Add funds?
This app was fine until the most recent update. It’s now requiring me to add a minimum of $15 to my account to be able to purchase anything. Previously I could just scan the barcode, pay the amount owed with Apple Pay, and move on. But now you want $15 at once for a bag of chips? It’s incredibly inconvenient for everyone I know and frankly, it’s just greedy on the part of the app developers. Not to mention, our office has guests from other departments quite frequently so they are unable to purchase anything unless they commit to spending $15 for it because they’ll never use the app again.

This app is impossible
I uploaded the app as stated on the back of the card. I out in my email and password. It will not allow me to sign in, tells me my password is incorrect. The other issue, I have money by using my fingerprint to complete my purchase. I should not have to go through this insanity of creating a new login when I’ve done this over three years ago. Anyone who has rated this app with high marks needs to be honest with themselves! You e never had an issue with trying to get any product. Either refund my money remaining or fix this app and make it more user friendly!!! UGH!!!!!

Crappy app
Just made an account 5 mins ago and already having problems. Tired connecting my connect card to the app and it won’t connect tells me to use other browsers so i did and it still didn’t work. So i can’t do it through the app, google/google chrome or safri. So i have a card with no way to put money on it. 😡 This app seems to have been out long enough to have had some type of improvements but from the reviews i read not many updates been done which is annoying… PLEASE FIX AND UPDATE APP. It would be very convenient IF IT WORKED RIGHT. IJS… HIRE SOMEONE WHO CAN HELP U KEEP UR APP UP TO DATE AND WORKING PROPERLY..

I’m unable to get my money back
I called a month ago to get a refund since I’m no longer at the place where I would use the app or uploaded money. I’ve been told multiple times that I would get a call back and have not received one where they got my info to return the money. The account shows that the money got taken out. But there is no one that will answer to where it went. I don’t see it refunded into my account. It’s not a lot of money, but its out of principle that it seems like that they are keeping money that doesn’t belong to them.

ok i guess but frustrating
I have one of the vendors at my job and would use the app to make purchases, but I can’t even add it to my Apple wallet because it fails every time making the app pretty frustrating… fix this feature with a update i’ll will make people want to use this app more without having to open the app every time that i go up to the machine but other then that it’s ok just makes me not wanna use it

Makes check out fast
The app works fast for me. I never have any issues. I like being able to load up my account in my phone and scan the food and drinks I want to purchase. I wish the points program was a little better, but overall I think it’s a great app.

Total sham
My employer contracted to have this service in installed at work replacing the traditional snack and soda vending machines. I downloaded this app and created an account because about 50% of the time the card reader is malfunctioning and there are no cash options . The app didn’t help at all. Even though it shows an account balance of the $15 I loaded, the machine kept rejecting it for insufficient funds for a $3 purchase. The merch is grossly overpriced and the frustration of trying make a purchase has pushed me over the edge. I now stop at 7-11 on the way in to get my stuff and just skip the whole canteen fiasco. Pretty sure the prices are so high to comp for the losses from people getting frustrated and just taking the merch without successfully completing purchases. Personally I’m not gonna risk getting fired for that. Just go elsewhere.

Wrong password when I enter the correct one
I have entered my password correctly everytime and I literally just made my account. It keeps saying wrong email or password when it’s literally the ones I used to set up the account. I’m happier not having an account and just paying with my card. I only got this because there’s an Avenue C at my work and I thought it would be easier to use but I’ll stick to my Apple Pay. Don’t bother downloading this or making an account outside of the kiosk use!

Total crap!
I got moved to a new facility where my phone would not pick up the new machines with Bluetooth. So I couldn’t or shall I say, CAN’T use my account which still has about $22 on it. I’ve written to their support email 3 times since the beginning of December and they have yet to reply to me. At this point I just want to close my account and get my money refunded to my account but there’s no way (I’ve searched the internet) to get ahold of these idiots! So I can’t use my account money and they won’t give it back or help me. Don’t bother with this app!

Read before using
This is to alert new people who have these “machines” at their job. Go to the gas station instead. This application is horribly designed and will not work well in most places. I thankfully work in a place with WiFi and the system STILL has issues letting me pay. The “customer service” is a joke. They will read you a script and give you the runaround until you hang up out of anger. They WILL take you money AND keep it without refunding if needed.

Easy to use!
When my employer put in an open fresh market I never thought I would use it- this app has made it so easy and quick to not have to wait in line behind everyone. Just scan and pay- we actually get a discount for using the app!

Becoming Less Useful
Aside from the prices being laughably high and rising, the app no longer allows you to just pay for what you are trying to by in the moment. Instead, you have to fund a minimum of $10. Why use the app when it’s full of bugs and the kiosk works better? Well, you get rewards. What they don’t tell you is that it will randomly cash you out! This happened as I was approaching the highest tier which is the best value. Seems rigged if ya ask me…

Useless
I happen to have a previous job with canteen. It just so happens so does my new job, unfortunately I don’t have my old card. I’ve tried scanning a new card on the machine. No good. Tried it in the app. No good. Tried connecting with QR and The app freezes. What’s the point of this at all? It’s useless. This makes me not want to even use canteen and instead get products before I Come in. It’s time wasting an such a hassle when I need to get something in a pinch.

Houston, we have a problem.
I’ve been trying to create an account for over a week since my employer recently did away with Apple Pay and moved to this connect and pay platform. I’ve been trying to create an account but it continues to tell me that there is a problem creating the account and to please try again later. It’s later and I’m still running into this problem. There aren’t any phone numbers or email addresses to refer to for help. This app is a joke.

Don’t waste you time
My job had a small break room in which the line is always long for these items. The vendor suggested we download the app to pay so we don’t have to wait. I did I mean I have an app for everything else… When I finally did download it I signed into my account, tried to add my card and it wouldn’t let me. So I closed out of if and opened it back up, & it prompted me to create a new password and never let me log in again.

terrible filled with bugs
when you open the app where it says recent transactions you cannot view those anymore. you need to go to setting and transaction history just to view it then when you close the app you have to redo it all over again. I should have known the company I work for would have made sla bad decision in this vending service

What a great app this is, very user friendly, even for the older generation! Fund/Load your $$ on the app or at a vending location. Walk up and scan your items then scan the QR on your app and you’re done. Easy Peasy!

App never works when needed!
My money is being held hostage because I keep asking for a password change and I never get it! I’ve been going at it for 3 days. Had to change it because it stopped taking the password I already had. Can’t get any snacks because the kiosk keeps saying I do t have an account when I’ve had an account for more than a year. I hate carrying cash but I’ll just start using it instead 🙄

Totally Broken
This app is utter garbage - have been using it for a year and a half and it never works properly. The account balance never updates after I spend money, so it’s impossible to tell how much I actually have. And lately there’s been a long delay from the time I fund the account via Apple Pay until I can actually spend it. Not worth the trouble.

I use this app everyday to buy coffee in the morning and lunch some days too. The auto-funding makes sure I have at least $10 in my account and I don’t have to think anymore or remember my market card. It just works!

Worst developed app & customer service
Will not let you scan market card and there is too many errors associated within this app. If you load money onto it you can request a refund but you won’t get it back nor will customer service get back to you on that. So you just have money sitting in an account. So why does this app exist to begin with because it causes so many problems that wouldn’t make anyone want to use it to begin with.

Hi, I have been using this app from quite sometime and it really works well. However I have moved to a new city where I cant find any connect and pay vending machines, so I thought of cancelling the account and I I see $50 on my account, so sent the team an email to help me with the refund of the amount its been more than a month and I havent heard from the team and there is customer care number that I can call as well. So disappointed.

Worst app
I have tried to use this app at two different work places- and it is the worst! It never connects to the machine even when you’re right next to it. Another way is insert a location link… but the machines you’re at don’t list the location link. Scanning QR codes takes you out of the app and into websites, and nothing there helps to connect the app to the machine. This app ought to be called NEVERconnect.

HORRIBLE APP
This app seems designed to steal money from the people that use it. It forces you to load at least $10, and then you cannot use a scan function, nor when you sign in, access the groceries available at the hospital I work at. Highly suggest you skip it. There’s also no auto return of the funds that they have essentially stolen from you, when you set up the app

Cannot add payment
I tried multiple times to add a credit card and also tried different ones and it does not work. Now it is telling me to try later. The directions are not given... for instance in the year area it does t say if it should be a 2 number digit or 4. After a few tries the system kicks you out. What a hassle.

Rewards are auto collected at the lowest value
The loyalty credit auto redeems at the lowest value per point. I want to wait until I get the maximum value but the app redeems it before I can get there. Not cool. This screams class action. Also Logs me off automatically Not always but every so often I get logged out. Why? Frustrating when this slows down the transaction process.

HORRIBLE...Takes your money and difficult to get refund
STAY AWAY!!!!! I’ve been trying to get my balance refunded and my account closed but keep getting the run around. They spew they same “instruction” with no results even after I told them their instructions weren’t working for me. A representative said they would try another method to refund my money but it has now been 3 weeks later with no results.

If I could leave zero stars I would . For starters it’s not user friendly. The kiosk at work wasn’t accepting debit cards, therefore I downloaded the app. Another waste of time. I spent my entire 30 min lunch break trying to purchase a sandwich. The app is garbage, the company is garbage. Now I gotta wait for these fools to refund me my $15. Can’t get past the welcome screen
What happened with the update? I open the app, it tells me I’ve been logged out, it takes me to a page to tour new features, which I skip. Then it takes me to the welcome page and that’s it. There’s no where for me to click or anything. How am I supposed to replenish my account if I can’t log in? 🙄

I hate this app now
I loved this app till one day I was locked out and now I can’t even login or reset my password it’s ridiculous!! And don’t even try to reply costumer support with your number and email because I’ve called you countless times already and no one answered and I’ve emailed you guys but no answer!!! Unusable - Hung indefinitely on login
A number of akwardnesses when getting it setup. Then when attempting to login twice it just hung indefinitely each time. Good news: the WeWork I was at had a little scanner that you could just pay with normally. Removing the need for the app. The other person I saw using the physical scanner mentioned they’ve also not been able to get the app to work. This app should be removed from the store or explicitly labeled a beta/alpha version. It currently seems to just be a time trap. (Software can be hard; no hate. But this app isn’t ready for release.)

Garbage
Absolute garbage won’t let me reset password and I put in my pin and says it’s invalid funny because I just used it at the kiosk!!!!! All I’m trying to do is add money to my account but no guess you guys don’t want money. The funny part is I guarantee you guys won’t do Crap about it. and apparently it doesn’t recognize the new password!! Even better

Can’t register a new account on kiosk because it will not check the box to accept terms of service. I decided to try the app instead with no better luck. Said it would send an email but never did, and won’t let me login with the account I created.

App is decent, rewards is a joke.
The app is decent and I haven’t had any real issues with the app itself. The main issue I have is the joke of a reward system. It takes 10,000 points to get a $1 back after the amount you end up spending at the market alone. A better reward system would be highly recommended.

Welll I downloaded the app because our job just got these vending machines but when I clicked create an account it didn’t do anything. I put in my email and password that I wanted but I haven’t gotten anything to let me log in. I’ll change my review after I get to check it out
