CYOA Factory

The review before mine said it all, this app is VERY helpful for writing CYOA stories, but I would love to be able to see the artwork I’ve created for my characters and backgrounds and unfortunately the app still just clears it out once you select an image from your device. Please fix this issue and I will give the app 5 stars. Thanks. Edit: also I am having trouble changing colors in the font settings and using the particle effect. Would be perfect if the app actually could do all that it offers

Good concept, but doesn’t let me add images to characters. The field to add images is called “URL” but I’m given a button to choose a file. I choose something from my camera roll, enter the image’s width in pixels in the width field, and enter a small number of pixels in the padding field. Then I exit, and the character name is grayed out. All it saved was the character’s name. I’ve tried it connected to WiFi, connected to mobile data, connected to nothing, entering nothing in any fields but the file selection field, entering 0 for padding and the correct width, every possible combination. Also, after entering the title and description and hitting “Create Story,” you have to wait quite a while to move on to the actual story editing interface. Please help. I do appreciate the option to see “dangling choices” and “ends” when you hit the hamburger menu on the top right side when editing a scene. Maybe the tutorial should tell users about that function.

Well, I’m blind, and, many others are too, in this app. When I try to create stories, it is kind of a little bit too hard, there’s blank spaces and we don’t know what they are, and stuff like that, just please make this app more accessible, it is a really really really cool concept. Please fix it for us blind people thank you.

The new update for this app is amazing. It adds so many more features I’ve wanted and fixes so many annoying bugs made me question the functionality of this app. 10/10 would recommend this app to story creators.

The layout is straightforward and it’s easy to access and edit all the scenes. I don’t have any major complaints, except for the fact that I can’t change the text color in Styles. Nothing happens when I touch the color boxes. It’s a bit disappointing, but not nearly enough to keep me from using the app.

Since the new update almost all of the bugs are gone, it’s working really well, and the new features are super cool. I don’t usually write reviews but this app deserves more recognition than it gets, so hopefully this will help. And to whoever makes this app; great job, keep up the good work! :)

When choosing my tags it always glitches out back to numeric when I need to use Text for the input, otherwise so far so good.

This game (if it’s called that,) is confusing yet fun. But not to confusing. 🙂 Thank you for making this. I didn’t know of the genre (if it is a genre,) CYOA. I’ve seen this style of story, but haven’t made my own like this before. Because of this though, I can. 🙂

I’m glad a revisited this app since the updates. Though adding pictures doesn’t seem to work I’m excited to dive into writing and publishing my own stories!

The create story is at the bottom when selecting create story and doesn’t show up on iPhone, can’t scroll down to it either. When I select multiplayer, it lets me scroll and I can see the button to create, but it still doesn’t let me create

There’s the occasional bug here and there but they get fixed eventually.

Last update made months worth of stories disappear from my phone and their backup feature doesn’t even work. I have no intention of supporting something that breaks randomly and destroys stuff on your own device.

When I try and create a story, it doesn’t work. I don’t know what to do. Please respond.

I love the idea, what I don’t love is the fact that it has so little option and so little help. I don’t understand the system and worse it has really bad app breaking glitches. It needs so heavy work done on

Simple and easy to use

Your registration screen is screwed up badly

The registration screen is broken! I keep pressing the get code button! I just never get an email and the screen never moves! I really wanted to try this app. It sounded like a lot of fun.

You have to be able to login to do anything and the app won’t let me. Every time I put in my email the “Get Code” button doesn’t work. Tried closing and reopening the app and even deleting and redownloading it.
