Destiny Item Manager

Most guardians have been using this tool via their web browser for years. Now you have the same, if not better experience from your phone or tablet. Simply put… if you are a Destiny player and want the power to know what missions to do, what your rank is, transfer items to/from your vault on the fly and so much more, then the DIM app is for you.

DIM is brilliant, but this app has some serious flaws, which running DIM from Safari does not have: 1. Can’t save a DIM Sync backup. 2. Can't restore a DIM Sync backup. 3. Can't load shared DIM loadout links (use Safari for that). 4. Reload App command does not delete the browser cache (the app has a built-in browser where you access other useful Destiny sites). If the browser cache needs to be flushed it can't be done. Deleting DIM and reinstalling won't work. The first two are major as DIM opened up build crafting. If you have dozens of builds and fashion sets for your characters you want to be able to backup. The only minor advantage is that iOS recognizes it as a proper app and gives it as a suggestion in searches. If you save the webpage as a web app from Safari iOS never gives it as a suggestion, so one must click on the icon or type “dim”. Use DIM, but not through this app.

I’ve long loved the web version of this tool, but it had some peculiar issues in recent versions when accessed from an iOS device. This native app perfectly recreates all the great tools from the web version, and erased all of the issues I had experienced! In other words, exactly what I wanted.

I got the app for my computer to see if I'd like it better than the desktop. However the font size is INCREDIBLY small and there is no way to adjust it (you can only adjust the icon size for items). The lack of accesibility features is very disappointing, as this is a great service. It also hasn't been updated in a year, so I doubt anything will change. You're better off sticking to the browser (or using your phone).

If this is the official dim app, then it’ll be the only destiny app You need. On iOS id say it’s even easier to use. As of now, it seems the app is new so I expect growing pains but being able to create customized load outs is huge, and makes this better than bungies official app

As a daily player I don’t think I use any other community resource more. I heavily rely on the weapon recommendations, the Loadout-Optimizer, the record and progress features . . . in short this is the only app you will need as a successful Destiny player. Thank you for creating this masterpiece!

When this app works it is great but more often than not it is so slow that I have to constantly close the app and open for any updates and when that doesn’t work I then go to the tower. So time consuming. But yet I say try this app because when it does work it is great.

Dim is fantastic, but lately it’s been malfunctioning. Whenever I open the app it turns to a white screen. The initial launch works, but after that it is broken. I have tried deleting the app and reinstalling it, but it didn’t work.

The loadout system is amazing, and now you can save your fashion loadout as well! This makes switching between different builds super fast and easy. I found myself wasting so much time manually switching between builds, changing mods and armor.

Whoever has created this service has saved me thousands of hours over the past 7 years. A sincere thank you and if you are wondering if you should down load this app, then yes, yes you should!!!!

Been using DIM via the website for nearly as long as I've been playing Destiny 2, and at this point I think the game would be unplayable without it. It's an amazing tool, and the folks behind it are super helpful.

I’ve been using the browser version but it suddenly stopped syncing. I found the iOS app and have been very pleased with it. Thanks!

Now for the price of Free .99 you can enjoy fast loadout swaps and inventory checks between activities. No more going to the tower to check your vault only to find 30 blues. Sad that it can’t work with engrams though.

So many new features all the time. Weekly updates all the friggin time. Literally saves so many hours running back and fourth to the tower. If you play Destiny, you need this app!!!

If you aren’t using this while playing destiny then you are playing wrong! You need this for any kind of activity you are going to play

Writing this because I’m genuinely happy with the app. It takes almost no time to load, it has no glitches, and it saves so much time. Very good!

Always love DIM! And very happy to have it on my phone as a stand alone app! I can create load outs from work and check my character when out of the house! Thanks so much!!

Seriously, you can’t go wrong with DIM! Easy to transfer gear, organize armor, and use optimizer tools to make builds. I literally can’t play the game without it anymore!

All of the browser tools in a convenient mobile friendly format

It’s no different than the mobile webpage, and it works wonders. There’s obviously some glitches but that’s expected, a game changing tool nonetheless. Thank you to the incredible DIM team!

I would never play more than one character without this app

Almost everytime i open the app on an apple device it freezes so you can’t scroll up or down and are forced to completely close the app and reopen. I’m gonna lose my mind 😃

Literally gave me the ability to switch positions and loadouts on the fly. Now my girl is always pleased.

This app lets you swap out weapons and armor, mods, rolls etc. Playing Destiny without DIM is something only a Hunter would do.

Should have happened way sooner

For Destiny 2 this is the best manger ever. It is very user friendly and works perfectly. This is the best manager and is better than the D2 companion app.

Much needed to play Destiny and if you’re used to the website, you’ll be right at home. We’ll made app, MUST HAVE!!

I am not able to log into DIM whatsoever. Every time i enter my information it does not let me through at all and says “Authentication Error”. It has been doing this for weeks. I hope someone can fix this as I don’t always want to use safari or my pc.

Seems just as good as dim on pc. A good quality companion app for all destiny 2 players. Highly recommend.

This isn’t a native app. It’s just their mobile website in an app wrapper. Everything feels laggy and slow, looks like I’m sticking with Ishtar. Shame, I feel like I’ve waited years for a DIM app only to be severely disappointed by the lack of effort put into the app.

I can no longer use the app when I open it it's all a black screen and you can't see anything my software is up to date and the app is updated but it's still not doing anything

Every time I try to open the app on iOS 16.4.1, I’m just met with a blank white screen and can’t do anything. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling, restarting my phone, clearing the website data, and nothing has worked.

Downloaded app when trying to login I don’t get a keyboard to type my info had to copy from another app to this one hit next then do the same with password and then nothing happens! App is useless if I can’t use it!

Downloaded this on my iPhone 13 pro max and it almost bricked my phone. Started to overheat and freeze up the day I downloaded it. Deleted it and factory reset my phone and now I’m good..
