I live in Alabama & this case has consumed almost every minute of each day!! First of all I am a Sr. Citizen age 73, a Mother of 3 & Grandmother of 5. I Dearly Love Children of all ages!! I can not fathom how this evil person is & can live with her self!! To sum it all up in my eyes, no man could please her out of 5!! All she wanted was lots of money (insurance $) and to Ilive on an island with a lavish lifestyle and be a Princess!! She has hurt so many people, Good People!! She deserves Life in Prison without Parole in my honest opinion!! I know I am not alone in wanting Justice for JJ & Tylee!!! THE EAST IDAHO NEWS KEEPS ME UTD ON THIS CASE & OTHERS I FOLLOW!! East Idaho News is extremely biased. They are starting to become like “main stream media”, in that they feel entitled to tell their readers what to think and what the facts are instead of reporting all sides of political issues in a fair neutral way. East Idaho News only cites sources that support the main stream narrative and either ignores all other viewpoints completely or reports on it by blatantly stating that it is false, inaccurate and so forth. The article writers at East Idaho News are not experts in topics they write on. Particularly when reporting on Covid-19, and mask mandates, there is plenty of scientific studies refuting current main stream media narratives, yet East Idaho News reports on Covid and Masks as if they are the authority on all truth and any other perspectives are false. They support this narrative by only interviewing doctors and individuals that support their narrative. The fact is, we are still learning about this virus, the effectiveness of masks and the truth of all of it remains to be seen. Stop telling your readers what to think. Give readers multiple viewpoints in a neutral unbiased way and let the reader decide.

Thank you for covering in a way that I can read any of your articles. I have quit reading most other news sources because of the graphic nature of their news. The information is generally good but sometimes is written poorly without clarity and on political articles they don’t generally reach out to both sides of an issue or to an an unbiased side for facts versus the politician’s opinion. I like that they cover local news and would like to see them go into more depth on big issues concerning the entire population like the legislative issues and bills they are working on. I love the good news Fridays and Secret Santa and business articles which help balance the bad news. Keep up the good work!

I stopped using all the other major news outlet apps and happily switched to my hometown local news app about 6 months ago. I was so sick of the dishonest reporting that was taking place and really wanted to stop supporting a source the willfully uses nationals news as a soapbox to push a political agenda. East Idaho you should be disappointed in yourselves, you have fallen in the same trap. We as the American people look to you for the news .. not for your opinions. We can go to Facebook for that. You lose all credibility with the public when you take sides take the higher road and keep it simple and to the point. The news .. no bull.

We have strong family roots in Idaho. My husband from is from Rexburg, we met while attending Ricks College! This sad horrific story has enthralled me! I know we are innocent until guilty, however it’s hard to remember that in light of everything coming to light every day!!! I appreciate the unbiased reporting by East Idaho News, as y’all are basically the only way we can keep abreast of any breaking news in Texas!! Thank you for your high standards!!

I installed this app to stay up-to-date on local news. As time went on the news articles pushed to my phone became increasingly clickbait-y. Having articles state "local police hunt for whatever" instead of "Pocatello police hunt for whatever" serve only to get people into the app and not to inform. This is especially worrisome when the notification potentially impacts me greatly. To be able to tell at a glance that a wildfire rages in my county vs if a wildfire rages in a local county is of huge importance. One informs me right away that my family is in danger. And whenever I was in the app, any tiny thing would cause it to reload. Pop ups, checking notifications, etc all would trigger the app to frustratingly reload.

Great app usually use this for my information for my hometown. Unfortunately, there is a bug or something in the app that needs to be fixed and updated to allow new users to download the app and use it. The bug does not allow us to tap on either of the options when you first get the app that says allow or deny notifications.

Thank you soooooo much Nate and East Idaho News. You have done an outstanding job bringing this trial to us. I feel like Nate is my best friend and i couldn't wait to follow his texts and follow ups everyday. Ive listened to every word from this trial. Many times it was way into the night and early morning. I got your app and i can honestly say i know more news about Idaho than my own state now.

Anything regional or national is copied in from far-left news outlets which is really disappointing. East Idaho doesn’t want to become California or New York so please just give the facts and let us do our own thinking. If it’s a matter of them sponsoring you, might I suggest some sort of fundraising effort so that you don’t have to push their narrative? On the other hand, anything done local (by Nate or Eric) is very nice and free of politics. I especially like their support of local events, schools, and businesses.

I followed every minute of Nate’s coverage on the Lori Vallo/Daybell trial. I absolutely loved the Courtroom Insider every evening. Nate showed me that true journalism is not dead. I feel like Nate having his wife on the Courtroom Insider made it real. He deserves an award for sitting in that courtroom day after day seeing and hearing all that evilness. I am now a fan of East Idaho News even though I live on Northern Alabama.

Amazing witness explanations re; investigations- everyone be good to yourself over the many upcoming years. Don’t discount help to be given. PTSD is real & follows all of you. ( This is real speak from a wife of law enforcement- retired after 32 years) Don’t forget Nate, family, jurors, and those in attendance. Love you all for your sacrifices for Justice.

Nate Eaton is an amazing reporter! He asks great questions in his interviews and had awesome recaps for the daybell trial each night. From there I went I. And started to watch some of his feel Good Friday's and Santa videos. He has a great heart and is an amazing asset to East Idaho News! Thanks so much for your excellent reporting! I don't live in Idaho anymore but I have family and friends that do. I like to stay informed on what has and is going on there and this news app helps me do just that. I enjoy ALL of the articles in fact we found out we had money owed to us thanks to the report on 'Lost Money in Idaho'. Thanks East Idaho News!!!

Got the EIN app during the Lori Daybell trial. I have kept the app, and sometimes I think I know more about what’s going on in East Idaho, than what is happening here in South Central Kentucky. I can’t say enough about Nate Eaton, and his dedication to see this story to the end. He also makes a great elf for Secret Santa. Keep up the great work!

East Idaho News is my “go to” for the latest happenings in our area. They pop up in my feed before any other news. I appreciate the thoroughness and accuracy that the stories contain. I feel I can trust East Idaho News.

This app generally posts news items before the other local news. It's nice to hear about what's happening quickly.

This a great app. I have experienced none of the problems stated in the other reviews. It provides the most timely and relevant news over any other media source I have found. I highly recommend this app to anyone wanting to stay abreast or eastern Idaho news.

Very timely news on important things happening now that are close to home.

If you live in East Idaho this is the best news source out there. App is well built and has a pleasant design to it as well as not crashing.

I like this app it keeps me updated on all the news in my area. Helps me get to appointments on time by letting me know if there are any accidents or road closures.

The only local, reliable, non biased news source. You can get relevant news content without the political spin.

Get the notifications and when I try to read them article is not found. As an actual working human that doesn’t stare at my phone all day it would be nice if an article lasted more that a couple hours. I would like to see the news articles also

Gets the news out fast.

I am so frustrated once again trying to watch a news conference, and this app kicks me out every single time I am using it. I use it to read an article that popped up in my notification, and it kicks me out about 30 seconds in. I get in it again, and same thing! Please fix it!!

I downloaded this app specifically for updates on Lori vallow trial. Plus all the other stories Nate works on. I like the layout of this app

I started watching East Idaho News while watching Nate Eatons coverage of the Lori Vallow Daybell trial. Now I am really enjoying East Idaho news in general for their coverage of Idaho news. Nate, eaten rocks!
