Not good for iPads
Would love Faire if they had a customer service phone number to call when things go wrong. For instance… two vendors have shipped my wares but they are claiming they shipped them yet. I’m in a terrible bind because there are some defective items I’d like to claim. So without good customer service I just can’t give the company 5 stars. I order tons of things on Faire . I gotta say the app is terrible . I need to hold my iPad vertical and it’s not comfortable like that, really cramps up my hands in a short time. I have to just go to the website and order from there because I don’t own a computer and I still need to order off my iPad. I really wish they had a phone number so you could speak to a live person to resolve issues. I’ve written them and they never write back. The good thing about Faire is that is great for finding new and unique items for your store. I Love that about Faire!

Not New Business Friendly
I’m opening a new business and I thought after taking care of all my legalities and hiring a brand designer, I would start to order inventory so it could arrive as I book flea markets. Multiple brands individually accepted my wholesale application after I gave them my tax numbers, but told me they were also on Faire. Out of convenience, I went to order everything on Faire, and placed a $4000 order. Only after placing this order did Faire tell me I needed to go through this lengthy verification process. After I gave them my tax ID numbers, proof that I was working with a designer, and a picture of the tent I’m using, they canceled my whole $4000 order four days after I placed it, pushing me back further and further from getting this business off the ground. Not to mention the fact that I was promised a $100 sign up credit and was never given it. No, I don’t have a “pop-up” schedule. I actually thought I would have inventory before applying to places 🤷🏻‍♀️. Guess I’m ordering through the individual suppliers on their websites now. Ps, my neighbor and Aunt who both use Faire thought it was a little bizarre that I’ve had to jump through these hoops. Neither of them had to go through this process to use Faire.

Good app, but sellers are in disadvantage.
The app works well, and the functionality is amazing. But I am definitely concerned about the disadvantage, as it is clear they give priority to the buyers more than the small brands. To be specific, if a package gets lost by the carrier before making it to buyer, Faire takes care of the buyer by making sure we re-ship the product to the buyer and offering us (the small brands that sell products) only $100 compensation, when the orders are well over $270. The compensation of $100 doesn’t really help much and then we are required to ship new product at our own expense so we don’t only see loss on the lost product but also are responsible to ship new product for free. Faire helps finding customers and that’s amazing and why we are using the platform, but it would also be nice if you care for the small brands that sell in your platform as much as you care for the buyers and your profit. When it comes to losses, the small businesses that sell on faire are the ones that take the punches. Get the 25% and 15% but also care for your sellers.

Incompatible on iPads
I appreciate Faire retailers, but this app on iPads is very inconvenient. For those using the iPad with a keyboard, you will lose a lot of time. It is made to use on cellphones so you must hold the tablet vertically. This completely slows down work days, as you must disconnect your iPad and use your finger or Apple Pencil to navigate everything. Becomes tedious very fast. Unless you work from a cellphone, this app is not compatible with updated technology in business. That is the only downfall, but it is inconvenient enough to set you back twice the time. The developers might take this into account with updates. The app is very cool, would be much cooler if it was easier to navigate on iPads.

I don’t have enough glowing words to say regarding my experience with Faire. This platform gave my brand new small business a fighting chance with their instant line of credit. I’ve worked my way up to $18K in the last three years and I’m so unbelievably grateful to have had this opportunity. Terrific customer service
I had a wonderful customer service experience with the customer service team member named Mary Joy Bacani. She was prompt in answering my questions. I explained my situation to her in which she expressed concerns and a simple solution. She made me feel welcomed and truly gave me a positive shopping experience with faire. Customer service is the most important factor when choosing who to do business with. I will shop with faire again because of the customer service experience I had with Mary. Thanks Mary! Not the place to help start or grow your business.
I am just now starting up my online business, after getting my wholesale license & tax ID number then going through the steps of having to design and build my very own website I was under the impression that I would be able to order all the inventory I needed to start listing on my website. This is NOT the case with Faire. They have denied my request to have my account verified. Stating that I must already have my online store up and running. How are you expected to launch an online store with no inventory to list? This is beyond me. I can not believe the unprofessionalism this company has with the amount of hoops they want you to jump threw just to purchase inventory from these small family owned businesses such as myself. If I could give zero stars I definitely would.

Great deals
I just started both a business and a membership with Faire. I hear they’re an aggressive monopoly, but I found a great clearance deal on nearly free olive oil, amazing samples I expect in the mail one day soon, and great deals on cacao and vegan cheeses I’m looking forward to marking up after carefully making unique fresh spirulina products with spirals I farm. I plan to visit frequently return to find samples, clearance deals, and most likely simple wholesale deals for ingredients I could use. Perfect timing for starting out and planning for a long-term food processing journey.

Give Faire A Chance
I just want to say that I was very hesitant about trying Faire. I am a small business owner, mother of 4, with a full time job. I cannot afford to place orders on half of the wholesale sites out there, because I cannot reach minimum item quantities or cart totals. I often feel as if wholesale is not small business friendly. Faire has so many different shops to choose from, with no minimum order as an option, free shipping (with insider), and net 60. This may be my go to from now on.

Used to be great, but is now buggy, slow, and crashes
Used to be GREAT but is now buggy, slow, and crashing/freezing nonstop. Busy business owners don’t have time for this *ish, so am moving to another wholesale platform. We have previously emailed Faire a few times to inquire about the issues, and ask about possible workarounds or solutions, and all responses were unhelpful and pretty much the equivalent of the shrug emoji 🤷🏻‍♂️ they dngaf and have essentially their talk she is “sorry not sorry” Don’t know what’s changed at Faire in the last year or so, as their platform and customer service used to be so wonderful! I guess nothing great lasts forever. Moving forward, will be spending our $$$ elsewhere on the platforms that still appreciate our business. Sorry not sorry.

Great until latest update
This app was great until this last update. Now I cannot access my account through the app. I get error messages on every page that the web site is unavailable. Now I cannot access my account info, my invoices for tax purposes, any order info, nothing. Useless. The Faire service has been great until now, but I can’t even place an order at this point. EDIT: left the app running in the background while doing other things, and it eventually caught up with itself and my data is now available. Shouldn’t have to wait 20 minutes for my data to load, though.

Not new/small business friendly and impossible to get approved
I’ve applied to be approved multiple times now so I can finally start purchasing inventory for my pop up. Every time I’ve been denied. They asked for photos of my pop up, pop up schedule and proof of being a vendor at events… none of which I have because why would I secure a spot at an event and schedule events without any inventory to sell? The whole point of “open with Faire” is to purchase inventory and kick start opening up a business… I’ve provided all needed information and still got denied. I was hoping to open up my pop up next month, now I’m severely behind and will be purchasing from the brands individually from their website. Really disappointed.

Ghost and Non-Responsive
Contacted multiple times regarding an unknown issue that will not process purchases (paying instantly and not using credit terms). I also requested refund of two months Insider Access paid for but not used because purchases will not process and the company will not return communication emailed to support. The website and app do not provide a phone number and email/message communication is the only way to reach anyone. No communication of any nature is returned, purchases are not processed and refunds are not made. Vendors are missing sales from probably more than myself. Skip the site and go directly to vendors viewed in the site. It is easier, expedient and you know you will not be ignored if there is an issue.

Amazing customer experience to get unique products
I love this apps for my online store. It’s friendly and a lots of choices to purchase items from companies all over the world. I feel safe to purchase from other countries like India and Africa. The good news is that Faire offering loan for small businesses for women, specially hardship after divorce. Thank you Faire for creating possibility for a newbie women entrepreneur. Brands are great, customer service is severely lacking.
Faire used to be super responsive, getting back to questions within a few hours of sending a message for support, or the beginning of the next business day. Now, it’s 24-48 hours or more for responses that don’t even resolve the issue (lots of canned responses), while items from these amazing brands are going out of stock each day the issue is unresolved. Nobody even apologizes for the delay in responses or acknowledges it whatsoever. For a business that is literally in existence for retailers and brands to connect, you’d think that they’d want to actually assist the retailers in a timely manner, so we can get orders placed.

App wants update
Until today, I’ve had NO complaints about Faire. Now when I try to open the app on my iPhone, a message pops up that says “we no longer support this version of IOS” and wants me to update. I have updated and am running the most current version of IOS, and meet the minimum compatibility requirements. I’ve updated the app as well and still can’t get past the message. I’ve even restarted my phone. I’m not sure what else I can do. As a wholesaler, I use Faire quite a bit. I know I can use the website, but that kind of defeats the purpose of an app.

UPDATE 1/7/24 PLEASE NOTE WHEN YOU REMOVE A CARD FROM FAIRE THEY STILL KEEP YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION AND WILL CHARGE YOUR REMOVED CARD FRAUDULENTLY!!!!!!!! unfortunately for Faire, when your Account Page states you have no card on file and you have a bank statement showing multiple charges being made by Faire, they blew their own cover. PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT THIS COMPANY AND CONTACT BRANDS DIRECTLY mostly trash damaged clothing with no assistance in returns or help from customer service! Fraudulent charges/invoices, pay close attention to what you are being charged! and don’t fall for the free shipping because all they do is mark up prices to even it out! try any other wholesale app so you don’t get scammed!!!!

Extremely difficult to work with
Faire requires you to go through a process for approval. I am fully registered with my state & have all the proper tax licensing, resale certificate, etc. I provided everything they requested & they cancelled my orders and simply stated they could not work with me. When I asked why- they refused to answer me. I replied again and asked why, and they repeated themselves with a “per our previous email, we cannot work with your business”. Please try other companies like Abound- they are much easier to work with, have Net60 as well, and actually communicate with their customers.

Clients love it!
My clients are obsessed with the ingrown hair wipes! I haven’t been able to get a hold of them since they’ve been sold out so I’ve been ordering the roll on version of the smooth operator and it’s been working for them! I’m going to try the scrub this time around! The shipping is always on time and the packaging is adorable. I will continue to use the strip in my waxing suite!

Love the company itself but…
Love working with Faire for wholesale. I use them quite regularly for the past few years. But for the app itself , it’s quite annoying. Your best bet is using the computer for whatever you need. The app is not iPad/tablet friendly. It comes through in phone view. I do not understand why this very easy issue to address has not been addressed when many people have complained. Using the app on the phone is limited.

Promotions aren’t promised
I don’t like that their isn’t really any good prices on this website it mentions shipping costs being covered your first order so I thought I could buy from a shop thinking my total would be it… later realizing I’m paying $300 in just shipping costs across all of my orders because they don’t discuss shipping until it’s suddenly taken from your bank account, this website isn’t worth it at all all the prices are basic and hard to find any realistic prices

Hate the new cart layout
I love Faire. But with the latest update the cart function has changed and is confusing and hard to manage. Before when I could scroll and see each item in my cart, it helped me keep track of the priority of my buys and in general let me see everything I have intentions to buy. Now by taking away that function and loading it by store, I have no idea what I have saved and how to find things….I don’t memorize my items by store. Boo for this change.

Best source for wide range of gifts
Faire has provided a channel to find unique, key gifts and items for our small outdoor/lifestyle shop. The site is so easy to navigate both on my computer and phone. Communication with the creators is quick and reliable. Faire has been key in keeping our inventory fresh.

Not able to deactivate account
For starters they don’t help small businesses unless you’re brick and motor or you have a website. It confuses me that they won’t allow you to shop for your business if you sell on a 3rd party website when they are nothing but a 3rd party website (how limiting). To make matters worse they refuse to sell to me but will not allow me to remove my bank information and delete the account. Oh and pretty much all of the wholesalers are on other 3rd party platforms that are more flexible. Oh and yes I’m legally permitted to sell in my state.

Scammed and no communication from Faire
We’ve ordered from Faire for about a year with no problems. Then I made an order with a company who charged my card and then disappeared. I’ve also noticed an increase in sellers who seem super sketchy. Claiming to ship from the USA but make up a city name that isn’t even real. Be careful who you buy from. Do your research, I don’t think Faire is screening the sellers. I’ve tried to reach out to Faire several times with no response. 😟 I’m now only buying from a couple vendors that are reliable.

Overall goo
Overall great app. My one suggestion to the app developer would be that there needs to be a photo option added into messages. That way before you have made a purchase, you can contact a seller to be sure you are getting the correct colour and what not. Since colours are sometimes hard to portray over screens.

Great for business
Just opened my baby boutique and thought this was too good to be true, finding everything in one place. I thought for sure I’d run into road blocks. I placed my order and got notifications the next day from all the brands that they accepted my orders! So glad to have found Faire!

Love the app but definitely needs some improvements
A big thing that would make this app better is better sorting when it comes to values. Sometimes a value that’s inlaid will not align with the items that pop up. Also, a lot of people use iPads and if this app was ipad user friendly that would be a HUGE improvement.

Sellers need an app too
This is great for buyers but it would also be great for the sellers that actually keep the platform thriving to also have an app too. As someone who has had their products on Faire for years, we would love to see an app for us too so we can track orders, accept, message and have all the features needed to be even more present for the buyers who purchase from us versus having to be on a desktop to do business. Hope to see this soon!

Good products
I am on the small scale of selling home fragrance. Have been branching out and purchasing warmers and diffusers from Faire to sell with my wax melts/oils. I have been receiving good reviews from my customers on these items. Had an issue with my first order but Faire customer service resolved everything. Will continue to buy from here.

Scam company
When you first sign up they advertise 50% off your first order which I was happy to purchase 100$ of products off of one vendor to meet their minimum and try stuff out. My total came to 50$. They then charged me the missing 50$ that I should have been saving in shipping - so you do not get any discount at all. All of my items were from one shop, lightweight, and required no extra shipping. This was money grabbing by the company to get out of giving the 50% off.

Great for small businesses
This is a great source for small businesses looking to stock something interesting or unusual. My only criticism are 1) high minimums for some of the brands, and 2) every item needs to have a description, complete with dimensions and weight. These are important factors that determine whether or not I place an order.

So far I am enjoying sorting through the wide selection of small businesses. When sorting by location, there should be more checks to ensure the location is correct. Also, I am not sure how shipping will affect the price of each order. It’s great to have this resource as a new shop owner.

I ordered some stuff put in all my information and now they want more information I just started my business and they don’t understand I’m not a pop up shop I own my shop this is like the 5th or six time I emailed them but still no response because i want a refund and they are not responding I spent over 300 with them and they took the money I might have to go through my bank to get my money back
