I can login to my existing FoodMaxx account from the app just fine. I use the app to check the weekly ads, and it works fine for that. I particularly like the List View that lets me save individual items from the weekly ad to my shopping list along with the expiration date. The only drawback is that I can’t access the weekly ad when I have no network coverage (which can happen inside the store). It’d be nice if the app can keep the weekly ad list on the phone until the expiration date so I can pull up the ad even when I have no network.
I’m not sure which was more frustrating the constant having to go left quit a bit to scroll over, then up and down to clip the coupons when on a Mobil device and most of us use a Mobil phone device or the fact after I clip coupons I had to re-clip the same ones two or three times after leaving the page to look at something else like the ad page. Also the little “scissors” that you clip the coupon kinda annoying, should be fixed button and clip the coupon, not extra seconds waiting for animated scissors. Don’t these people use there apps. We’re parents, working men, students, people who don’t have time waiting for animated stuff. We just want to get our groceries quickly and at a decent price. One positive note pictures of products was good quality, found that helpful.
This application really helped me with my purchases, I often visit FoodMaxx and intuitively decided to check the application on App Store, and was pleasantly surprised, that yes, they have their own application. Now my shopping has become more pleasant, thank you!
Doesn’t really save you any money, just shows you what coupons are available in the store. Has difficulty finding your location if you’re at a different store. The sad thing is that the coupons are minimal and sometimes it will throw in a freebie, but it’s for some odd product that is hardly used. Was hoping this would be more like the Target app. Sadly it’s not.
This app does not work. This app may work for only certain people. This app should work without the unsecured WiFi at the FoodMaxx store(it doesn’t and will not and has not). Please, foodmaxx personnel, stop focusing on data brokering and offer a service to the the customers that just want to buy food.
I’ve been trying to log into my account without success. I was been told to delete my app reinstall it and try again well nothing works. I’ve been working on it now all day and I’m throwing in the towel. It’s not worth the headache. 😡
I try to change my password because I forgot my own password and it kept saying “something went wrong” And I’ve been trying for TWO days and it keeps saying "SOMETHING WENT WRONG”
I tried to register for this app and despite taking my information, it says my info is incorrect. And when I try to reregister it says my info is already in use. I’ve closed the app, still wrong. Despite getting emails from Food Maxx at the email I’m typing in. So maybe I typed in the wrong password? I go to your secondary verification option for forget password, type in what my password should be and I get the message that I cannot use a password twice. Telling me I’ve been putting in the correct information this WHOLE TIME. It’s said all to much, but, it’s true here; if I could give you zero stars, I would. I feel like I’m lying giving you a one because that expresses *some* positive experience in the use of your terrible app. The app is deleted after this post and I sincerely hope to never come across one of your poorly made apps again.
I downloaded it yesterday, and the reason I gave it 5 stars is mostly for the home delivery option. It gives me easy access to ordering my food online and getting it delivered. It’s all through Instacart but now I can see the deals and shop online in one app instead of two. Check it out!
It’s actually probably the worst supermarket app that I’ve used. It won’t let me check prices as the other supermarket apps do. I don’t want instacart, I just want to go shopping. It’s pretty much useless so I’ll just delete it. I don’t know who developed this app but they probably got their money and left town quick.
First, no ad flyer. You get 6 or so “specials” in black and white, in a list. No color at all. The “ coupons” might consist of one or two items. Even though it is very basic, it takes forever to load. Nothing special at all about this app. I’ll stay with Vons.
First bad sign was that it didn’t even show my local Foodmaxx store on the map (they kept trying to set “my store” as one 60 miles away). Unable to login (as many other reviews stated). Flyer wouldn’t load. So what’s the point of this app, exactly??? 🤷🏼♀️🤔
