Thanks for adding my last suggestion to the app!
I have two more suggestions, since it’s pretty much the only app I use for watching TV. An option in the search function to only search your own recordings would be great! A quick way to see what you have. Right now a bunch of weird stuff comes up when I want to find a hallmark movie I have recorded. And scrolling through all my recordings takes forever! AND a select multiple recordings at once to delete from your recording list. Right now you have to go in each one and delete it and then the list goes back to the beginning and doesn’t hold your place so if you want to delete a bunch of Christmas movies that start with The or anything that isn’t A is takes forever so I don’t ever delete them even though I don’t want them. Thanks for asking for suggestions! 😊

New weak ap, but with wrong priorities
The idea of Frndly TV is a great value proposition, and it is a good deal if you can tolerate the problems. At first, I reckoned the value was good even though it is a new way to get TV and has the learning curve problems of very few bells and whistles plus bugs in the software. As it stood, it was a solid 4 rating. Unfortunately, the last 2 updates have shown that the company has grossly wrong priorities. Rather than improve the aps to deliver a solid product, they chose to ignore the problems and weaknesses to work on new ways to advertise at the customers’ expense. The last change did nothing to improve the obvious shortcomings of the programming and add a home page that is there simply to be a vehicle for selling ads. A “home” page should focus on those things chosen by user, but instead they have chosen to diminish access to what the user wants and increase prominence of stuff the user has no desire to have clogging his home page at all. Mistakes like this are hard to overlook because they can only come from bad upper management that has no clue as to what it takes to have a sellable product for the users. They will eventually lose all of their users to a netter run company, and with diminishing user base, they will lose all those advertising dollars that they saw as more important than subscribers.

I'm home!
I don't normally have time to leave reviews but this is a much deserved exception. I had FRNDLY a while back and liked it, but I ended up canceling and getting YouTubeTV. OMGsh from day one I didn't like it and hadn't realize how spoiled FRNDLY had made me. I kept it for a while, longer than they deserved lol, but finally canceled it (and found a quality antenna which I'd been meaning to do anyway) and signed back up with FRNDLY last night. As soon as I logged in I literally felt like I was home 😊 I love the layout, the navigation, the lineup (especially Hallmark but many others too), and the features. For example something as simple as being able to start watching anything I want from the beginning, without having to record it first, along with all the other features YTTV doesn't have. Honestly it blows my mind because my yearly subscription with FRNDLY is just a little bit more than what I was paying every month(!) with YTTV. I'm back, I'm a happy customer, and I'm here to stay this time!

Love the Streaming Service, HATE the Search Function
Let me open by saying I LOVE this streaming service, and I loved the app up until recently when Hallmark Movies Now and Dove Channel were made available. I used to be able to search for a movie I recorded, and it would show up in the search results, almost always as the first option. Now, I search for a movie, and the majority (if not all) the hits are from Hallmark Movies Now and Dove, even though I may have recorded the movie as recently as a few hours earlier. It is so frustrating (and I have to PAY for Hallmark Movies Now, which I do not want to do, since I have the movies recorded that I want to watch 🙄). The other option is to scroll through all the movies in My Recordings which I’ve recorded in the past 9 months to find the one I want. Very time consuming when I can just search for it...or USED to be able to search for. Please bring the ability to search recordings back...and drop the Hallmark Movies Now from the search...or give it its own tab at the bottom...especially if you are requiring subscribers to pay extra for it.

Focus more on app functionality
I love this app and use it very often. However, I wish they would focus less on adding new channels and more on the functionality of the app. I don’t have an app that updates as often as this one does but none of the issues are ever resolved. The constant buffering, freezing, and app shut down are one thing and have been present since day one. But now, the app will not record everything I ask it to. I have the highest available plan so there shouldn’t be an issue with space. I have no clue what the issue is but it has been happening since the first of the year. I go through the 72 hour look back every few days and record every movie I want to, even those I have already recorded (because they may be about to fall off) or have seen many times. However when I go to My Recordings, only some of what I selected to record is actually available to watch. Why?? This was never an issue until the beginning of January or so and it is very frustrating. Please don’t add any more channels until the issues with the app have been addressed.

Hi I Love This app very much it’s got so much awesome content on here I love it 😍📺 By the way Thank You for bringing back the expiring now section in the My Stuff area!! Now I can check and see what recorded TV Shows and Movies are expiring everyday now Yahoo!!!!!! Thank You for such an awesome Streaming service I love being able to watch all the content on many devices that’s my favorite part 😃 My Favorite channels are Hallmark channel and Hallmark Movies and Mysteries channel and Hallmark Drama channel and Great American Family Channel and Great American Living Channel and The METV channel yep all of those channels are super awesomeness to watch and of course there’s a few more channels I enjoy watching too I just can’t think of them right now. Plus here’s a channel selection for you please bring METV PLUS to the channel line up I would love to see that channel on here!! Why is there a “home” now, makes no sense
This was all about watching channels, why would there need to be a “home” screen as it does not provide ANY functionality beyond now having to go to the “guide” selection to review a particular channels offering at that time. Why keep changing the interface to add useless features; like the new “Home” that comes up first instead of the “guide” as it used to. Now you have to select the guide to review the channels. Now among the recording issues I have, they change the interface without adding any functionality along with adding channels that are just place holders so they can say they’ve added new channels ….done with this app, already deleted from iPad and iPhone and canceled auto-renew for next month, hoping I don’t experience like others here that I will be charged anyway. I used to recommend, not anymore. In my opinion, Home should not be the default page when a person goes to the app, if I’m going to the app it’s to see the GUIDE first, not what they think I want to see. Make it the next selection to the right or have it an option to turn off.

Amazing LIVE TV!
First off, reading other reviews a reminder to all: THIS IS LIVE TV. It isn’t like most of your mainstream services, this is live as in it airs the same things at the same time as other providers. So no, you can’t skip or jump ahead because it is, well, LIVE. Secondly, the price for the selection is unparalleled! It is more than worth it!! Their on demand section is awesome as it has 72 hour look back as well as movies that are just there. THREE HALLMARK CHANNELS as well as PixL (commercial free movies) and UpTV (original programs and movies) was my main draw. Curiosity Stream, Outdoor, Game Show Network... such awesome selection! And for those who think it’s not enough selection, take a moment and really think about what you watch. I mean, you can’t watch 500 channels all at the same time so... I save so much money and still have amazing things to watch! And yes, it’s available across multiple platforms so TRY THE FREE TRIAL YOU WONT REGRET IT!!!

Good luck Canceling this Service
I bought this channel three years ago after a free trial. After about six months, we realized we never logged in or used the account. We logged back in to the account and removed auto renewal. Come Sept we were surprised with a charged for a full year once again. We reach out through chat and were told it was still showing auto renewal. We chalked it up to our fault changed the settings went on our way. Year 3 and wouldn’t you know another 100 charge. I logged in checked all my accounts, auto renewal is off yet I’m charged. I reached out to chat yet again and was meet with nothing but frustrating back and forth of how to remove auto renewal. Even though I explained this is not the case it’s showing off on every account I have and no longer being charged. The rep I was chatting with was zero help. The conversation ended with me having to tell them I have to contact my bank to remove this charge and try to fight the charge and the reps only response was to turn off auto renewal. Not worth the headache, or hassle of the “friendly folks” of Frndly TV.

I almost spent $35 a month just to watch lifetime movies until I found this app
I’m weirdly very productive with Lifetime movies playing in the background (shoutout to my ADHD) and they don’t have an app that lets you live stream all day. Although you can get Lifetime Movie Club, I like streaming their movies so they come on and I don’t have to spend time picking the movie, I just have whatever is live on lifetime or LMN on. I was about to pay $35 a month for Sling, just to watch these two channels when I saw the add for FrndlyTV. The UI is not the most advanced, but it does what it’s supposed to do as a live streaming platform. The only feature they should add next is the ability for PiP on an iPad, so I can play it in the background when I use my iPad as a second screen. Other than that worth every penny for me!

Good but not “Family Friendly” as promised
I just canceled after 1 year with FRNDLY. I was very excited because the price and selection is great. But mainly we signed up because the website went t great lengths to talk about wanting to start a family friendly service without all the junk. I guess the contract with A&E networks compromised that. It is not family friendly to have and PROMOTE shows like “Secrets of Playboy” and “Sex before the internet”. Especially when there are ZERO parental controls. Customer service told me 9 months ago that parental controls would come in a future update, yet still are not here and there has been no timeline given. We would likely come back if there were parental controls. We don’t want our young kids exposed to add for a show about playboy (tagged at the end “Watch on FRNDLY”). Some systems have parental controls that can hide entire channels from the guide. That would be ideal. Then your kids don’t even see the titles or thumbnails.

LOVE but a few things...
Okay, I absolutely LOVE ❤️ this app, my mom originally got it for Hallmark so me and her could watch it together, but we’ve explored all the other shows and movies. I love how you added UP TV because they play bringing up bates, Reba and heartland(and we don’t have the UP subscription so this is nice!) My whole family love to sit down in the living room after dinner and watch Family Feud on The Game Show Network or LHOTP on Hallmark Drama(my fav show lol) So as you can see, we love this wayyy better than anything, but there are a few tweaks that I would like to point out. When watching record or on Demand content and you try to fast forward or rewind you can’t see where your going and how far you’re going back/forward. Which can be annoying when you’re trying to fast forward commercials. And sometimes when I’m watching a show on demand or on record it starts from the beginning!! And then I have to fast forward to the part where I was but then I can’t see it! Also I think I’d be cool if you could search a series and all the episodes will be listed and then another section can be for the ones that will(or have) been played. Overall FIVE STARS but please fix the issues PLEASE!! I absolutely LOVE this app so PLEASE FIX THANK YOU 💫 ♥️

GREAT selection, App needs Improvements
LOVE all the channel options (Hallmark, UpTV, GAC, Lifetime), but the app needs some major improvements. My recorded movies and shows always restarts while I’m in the middle of watching and decide to open up the app to either pause, rewind or fast forward. The app also doesn’t save our watch progress so if you want to continue watching something later, you’ll have to search for the show again and find where you left off. Very rarely does it actually save our progress. It would be great to have a “watched” check mark or some way to organize content we’ve recorded so we know what we’ve seen already and what we haven’t. The closed captioning also doesn’t work if we use Chromecast to stream to our TV. It would be great to have an option to access Frndly through our xBox or Playstation like other streaming channels.

Good service/channels, app could be improved
I love being able to watch and record Hallmark movies. However, every time I watch something I’ve recorded I almost always encounter a few glitches - mostly a black or paused screen while the audio continues. They self-correct quickly enough, but it’s definitely noticeably frequent occurrence. Another thing I really, really wish this app allowed you to do that other streaming services do, it to be able to continue “watching” while doing something like responding to a text message or going into another non-streaming service app on your phone. All of the other streaming apps I use allow you to “minimize” what your watching and go into email, your browser, text messages, etc - As long as there’s no audio, it usually doesn’t interfere. But with Frndly you can’t - it goes away completely.

Black bars on side and top of devices
I love the frndly app! Since I got rid of cable tv this is the best app to be able to catch hallmark movies and can watch it on all of my handheld devices anywhere using my iPad and iPhone. The major bummer is when I watch on my iPad and iPhone, there are black bars on the sides of the screen or the top of the screen. There is no option to expand and enlarge the size of the video to fill the entire screen. When I watch frndly on my flat screen tv, there are no black bars, the film and picture take up the entire screen. Other streaming services offer the option to expand and enlarge the video to fill up the entire screen, so I’m not sure why frndly doesn’t. I really hope frndly is able to add that feature in so the picture quality fills up 100% of the screen, with no black bars on the top or sides of the screen.

The weather channel Devotie
I love the weather channel and something has changed recently and I want it to go back to the way it was. Please help, and change this back: previously, you could use the slider bar at the bottom to move through or move back to see certain parts of the show and now that is not possible. I understand that you have to watch the commercials but if I want to slide back to the beginning of the segment or slide forward to my area of the country, it is no longer possible. It used to be possible so it should be able to be possible now. I repeat, please make it possible to use the slider bar at the bottom to go back to the beginning or forward to the end.

A Fave but still a work in progress…
**Edited to add that now I can’t go from one episode to the next without the app crashing. 🙈 Whether I let the clock run down & it attempts to go to the next episode automatically or if I manually choose next episode, the app crashes & goes to my Apple TV Home Screen. Frndly is my favorite streaming service, by far, but I have a couple of suggestions: (1.) PLEASE ADD A FAVORITES OPTION! For the most part I record what I am interested in, but for those movies that I am not given the option to record, it would be amazing if I could “heart” it so that I don’t have to search for it later. (Lawd knows my mom brain probably won’t remember the title) (2.) When searching for a title, can you just show the results & not the results divided into 3 sections (that don’t really make much sense anyway)?

The worst experience for blind users.
It's one thing for an app to not be blind-accessible. It's quite another to have the app actively FIGHT you. After determining that my smart TV is slightly too old for its current version and that the browser interface is inaccessible, I tried this app in hopes that it would at least be functional. But it wouldn't even allow me to type my E-mail address. The app ignored my iOS settings for auto-complete and predictive text and kept insisting that it knew my E-mail better than I do, replacing what I typed with what it thought my E-mail address SHOULD be. At no point could I get it to actually let me type the correct address. After fighting it for over an hour, I gave up. At least I could describe the experience during cancellation. Frndly needs to work with an accessibility team and rebuild from the ground up. In its current form, it is hopelessly unfrndly to the blind.

Great Service - App Improvements Needed
I love the service. I think it’s a very reasonably priced to be able to watch live TV, on demand movies and shows, as well as record past and current programming. However, the app it’s self is lacking. The search feature is horrible. Sometimes it’ll show something you’re looking for while other times it won’t even if it is on the schedule. And when searching for something the items that come up sometimes are not even related. It doesn’t hold the spot on your movie very well when using on your phone. So I can be very frustrating to have to continue to go back and find the spot you left off in the movie/show. Additionally, there is only an option to record new AND rerun shows. Very irritating when you only want new shows.

Love this app “BUT”
When watching a movie it keeps freezing on me or goes black so many times during the movie also when watching the live news . Please fix the freezing it’s very annoying when watching something that your into. Also would love a few more channels for you to add like EWTN and the TLC . I must say I seen you raised your price for the year which I did not have any notifications from you at all telling me there was going to be a raised hike . I’m most likely not going to be subscribing next year because that’s a lot of money to pay in todays economy. I enjoy your app but I’m afraid I’ll have to find another app that I enjoy and is less costly if things keep up the way it is now in our country… Thank you and please fix the issues I told you about …..

Trouble Watching Recordings on my Phone
I have always been extremely happy with this streaming service! Just recently I am having issue watching some recordings on my phone. As soon as I click it to watch the “cover picture” of the video will load but then remain frozen with no control options on the screen. The sound will be going as if nothing is wrong but the cover photo never changes. The only way to get out of this when it happens is to close out the app completely by swiping the open screen closed because there are no active screen controls. Please get this fixed! A huge part of my viewership is on the phone when I am away from home.

Love the App!
I love the app! I didn’t want to have to get cable just to watch Hallmark movies, but I almost did. I saw an add for this app on Facebook and instantly got it! It is MUCH cheaper than getting cable and purchasing the bundle with Hallmark movie channels. I also love the fact that you can record movies and play them whenever you want. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I can only watch it in my bedroom when I cast to my older version of google Chromecast. I bought a brand new tv with Chromecast built in but unfortunately it will not sync with the newer version. I really hope this bug gets worked out soon because I would really like to be able to have a Hallmark movie night with my girl friends 😊

Your stupid changes.
You made some very stupid changes. Calling my recording ‘my stuff’ what idiot came up with that. Very hard to delete a show after I watched it. Why such stupid stupid changes. Not happy at all. Hope you plan on fixing your Obvious mistake. Hate what you have done. Fix or I am gone. Hate the changes !!!!!!!!!!!! Here I am again saying how stupid your changes are. What idiot came up with these changes. After I watch a show it’s way way way complicated to delete it. Also where are the buttons that say. -Oldest recording , Newest recording,and recent. I can not figure out how to watch what I record. I had to just delete a bunch of stuff since I can not figure how to watch it in order. Your new screen that shows everything is so stupid and not easy to use. Please get some with a brain to fix this or sorry I will cancel.

Series recording
Love the programming on the app and have noticed incremental improvements in function. Agree that the home page is cluttered with general information and not tailor to your viewing preferences. The biggest drawback is not having the ability to record new seasons only. You can record a single episode or all seasons of your favorite series but not just new episodes. This forces you to either manually record a series every week or to constantly delete old seasons that you don’t want. I hope a “record new episodes only” option comes soon!

I like it in theory…
But it’s just not working very well. When I first got the app, I could fast forward through commercials. I was thrilled! It seem to be working great. Apparently they discovered that people value this feature and are now charging for it. STRIKE ONE! Now I cannot fast forward through anything, even though I upgraded my service to do so. It has to be recorded in order to skip the incredible TIME WASTE of commercials! STRIKE TWO! Getting things to operate the way they’re supposed is also hit and miss. Sometimes all I get is the Frndly TV logo. And sound. No picture. STRIKE THREE. I like the channel selection, and this will be the only streaming service I pay for - IF I keep it. It’s looking doubtful right now… so far, it’s been more of an irritation than an enjoyment.

Freeze/blank & Pop out video
I love being able to watch the channels/shows I want on this app, but as many have said the app has a lot to be desired. Recent update as others have said has been making it impossible to watch a complete movie without some sort of freeze/blank/buffering. Another thing that has always driven me crazy is lack of pop up video. I can’t check anything else on my phone ever and still get to watch. 98% of video playback apps have an ability to pop the screen out, so you can check a text or notification without losing spot or whatever else. I know that this app is growing with new channels, so it’s even more frustrating to be lifelong user and have to deal with stuff that wasn’t a problem years ago!

Love the content hate the app
The app on all platforms, phone, Roku, ipad all are horrible to use. The app updates every few days it seems like but still has issues every time. The newest update that added the my stuff tab is a pain to use on my iPad because one page only displays in horizontal format and the next page can only display vertically so it’s constant flipping my iPad while finding what I want to watch. The recoding in my stuff don’t give the same information they used to do it’s difficult to figure out which episode is which. There is constant freezing, buffering, skipping of content. Not a fan of any of the apps but like the channel selection. Unsure if we will renew after our year is up due to the annoyance of the functionality.

Love it!
I absolutely love this app since we “cut the cable cord.” One of the reasons we kept cable for so long was because of the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channel - I didn’t want to give it up! So, this app was a great solution. I also love the fact that I can watch it on my phone if I’m working outside, at the gym or going between multiple rooms in my house. I have had no problems with it, so maybe some of the issues others mentioned have been fixed. In my opinion, if you like Hallmark and their other channels, it’s completely worth the money! And, the other channels that come with it are just an added bonus. I highly recommend!!

Paying for free services ?!
As my title reads, why are we forced to pay ? Really why!? I get that sometimes in rule areas that some or all programming may not be available. But still these are mainly free channels that use advertising to pay the cost. I view this service as taking advantage of the less fortunate to me it’s ridiculous paying anything for something that’s intended to be free.. plus I don’t care for the whole sign up process they take you off Apple iTunes and redirected you to the website ( I’m presuming this is to ensure that they get all the money and not pay Apple anything for your subscription fees) nonetheless it’s crappy signup process and a setup for easily forgetting your paying. Not worth it.

Very frustrating!
When I want to watch a television series I have never seen before - I record it. It’s very frustrating when the series starts in season 3 or 4, but I wait to have season 1 and 2 show up. Problem? By the time the first season is available you’re already dropping the other seasons. Or episodes are missing. Who wants to come in the middle of any show and have no idea how the characters got to where they are??? You have always had a good plan, and it was a great one in the beginning, but the ratings are going down. I’m sure due in part to this issue as well as the other “improvements” you’ve made. Please Please just make it normal again! Thanks

Needs better controls
I like the app and the shows and movies available but I really don’t like the playback controls. I’m limited to just 10 seconds rewinding and fast forwarding. I have to wait until the control is available to go forward/backward another 10 seconds. Most apps let a person fast forward 30 seconds at a time and a person can hit the option several times in a row. I was looking for an app for my LG smart tv and don’t see one. Any plans to have one? Other people have said that they have issues with a recording restarting when they pause a recording. I have used the app to watch 3 shows and have paused several times and have not had this issue. Hopefully I don’t encounter this.

10-second jump not working
I have this app primarily to watch Hallmark Channel and Great American Family - really appreciate the affordability! Just a couple of feedback items: 1) The option to jump ahead 10 seconds is not working consistently on Great American Family - when pressed, the “wheel of death” (loading circle) permanently comes on the screen and will only go away when you force quit the app. One of the benefits of recording movies is to be able to skip the commercials and this functionality is not working! 2) It would be great if you could skip ahead in 30-second increments instead of 10. 3) Can you add the ability to hide channels from the guide that you are not interested in? Thanks!

Ability to fast forward removed & unwanted rewind
I have used this app as my primary streaming app since 2021. However, I’m not a fan of the recent change from my recordings to my stuff. At first I thought it would give more app functionality. I have experienced the opposite. Shows I actively record will no longer fast forward. When I try, it jumps backwards 15-20 minutes of what I have already seen… and still will not FF. These shows are pre-recorded & not selected after the fact. When I try to delete a show, there has not been a way. Overall very frustrating. Thinking of dropping the app and switching to one that lets me FF & manage my stuff more effectively.

5 Stars but
still room for improvement! I absolutely love the FrndlyTV service but the app definitely has room for improvement. Please please please make it work with ‘picture in picture’ the way other streaming apps do. I love being able to multitask on my Apple devices. I don’t want to have to close out of the app to answer a text because then when I go back in, half the time it hasn’t saved my spot in the recorded movie I’m watching. Would loooove the multitasking feature and would use the app a lot more if it had that!

I may be unsubscribing
The movie run time is 84 minutes. Ad/commercial run time is 36 minutes. I used to love this app, as I love the Hallmark murder and mysteries. But recently the ads are so long and I just keep going on and on and on. Do you think there can’t possibly be another ad and yet there it is another ad. I think I will stick to other apps that even though they have ads, they don’t go on for three minutes at a time. Not sure I like the new updates and it’s format either. but I can forgive that and get used to it if I decide to keep it which I doubt I will. Having too many issues
I’ve had this app for several years now in the last year or two it has gotten to the point where I’m gonna cancel my subscription because of the fact that it buffers all the time or it drops and you can’t get the app to pull up and stream whatever channels that you are wanting to watch you then have to exit the app go back into the app pull up what you wanna watch and it sits down buffers has nothing to do with my Internet because it does the same thing on my phone. They just did a recent update and now no service and it’s saying services unavailable. I hope that they can fix these issues ASAP For reference, I exited out, pulled up one of my other apps, put on a movie and I’m having no issues with it at all

The search feature for recordings is awful
There are a lot of positives about this app. Unlimited recordings, the price, the amount of channels. However, the search feature for recordings has always been lacking. Sometimes better than others. I downloaded the latest version today and it’s still not right. If you have multiple episodes of a show, it doesn’t tell you the dates/episode description. I’ve tried playing multiple selections and it plays the same episode no matter which one I choose. So it’s nearly pointless to be recording a whole show because you won’t be able to find a specific one. If this got fixed I’d probably give 4 or 5 stars

Way too many malfunctions!
If you have asked me last month how many stars I would give to the app I would have given it 5... however it has been days that I cannot watch a movie without problems. If I try to forward the advertisements, terrible the forward won't work. I have to close and open the app several times to be able to continue a movie. And even not trying to forward, it stops, it stalls and I am tired of that green thing going around and around! I will NOT upgrade to no commercials, I am willing to endure them, but I would like to be able to endure the movies without problems. And it is not the season, other apps are not having this problem. I would definitely like to hear what the developer has to say. Thank you.

Good place to watch Hallmark channels
I love the content but the interface is lacking. It could be so much better with some small changes. One, when you open app please take me to the guide or home landing page with my favorite channels and last show watched. What happens now is you are dumped into the weather channel for some reason. Secondly, let us record only new episodes. Currently you can only pick record new and repeat episodes. Fix those two things and watch the ratings soar!! I’d you really want to thrill us, let us arrange channels in the order we want to see them.

I simply loveeeeee this awesome app….cannot say enough bout it..i love that it has Hallmark so i can watch Little House on the Prairie and i can also watch Reba, Christmas movies, well I can’t say enough great shows and movies..i just loveeeee all the different channels..the fact that we can record movies unlimited is freakin awesome..i recommend more people to get this app sooo more channels can be added…not to mention the clarity of all channels…no complaints at all with this app, my whole family just love this FRNDLY app so much. Thank you for being sooo GREAT..

Love the options, but streaming has been tough this year
I love FrndlyTV and am grateful for an affordable way to catch all the Hallmark and Great American Family channel offerings. This season, though, there have been so many issues with streaming! When trying to use the start over option, it still takes me to the live version. When I finish one movie and want to start another, the screen stays on a still image though I can hear the actors in the background. Sometimes it just won’t let me go to my stuff and I have to start the tv all over again to play anything. I’ve never had these problems before this year.

Request for Update
Frndly is my go to Christmas movie app. I love it! However, with a husband who doesn’t like Christmas movies and a toddler who wants to watch cartoons, I default to mostly watching on my phone. It would be super nice though if y’all add the feature to where you can leave the app and it minimizes the screen and still plays in its little box while you go to other apps as many other streaming platforms do. There’s nothing more annoying than getting a text or email and having to completely pause and leave the app then come back.

Great place to get entertainment
I love this app!! I watch it at work and at home. Great wholesome programming! I can record my favorite shows and watch them later. I have even been able to find many of the shows that I grew up watching and share them with my children. Then I have discovered shows I knew nothing about and find that I enjoy them as well. The movies are fantastic also. Keep up the excellent work. I look forward to seeing the additional programs and movies that you periodically add.

Losing the friendly part
I originally started this subscription to give my daughter clean friendly channels that she didn’t have to scroll through trash or parental guards. Loved the channels and didn’t begrudge paying. But then they started adding channels with shows that’s are no longer kid friendly. So here we go again. Then because they add these channels we should pay a little extra. I don't want those channels it was why I switched off satellite. Please let us opt out of some add ons!! Other than that I love friendly tv but if it continues I’m saying goodbye. 🤦🏻‍♀️

We love the shows and channels, but geez- the updates!
You have more updates than any other viewing app- actually- more than any app this family has on any device. It feels very over-kill. Not all of them are helpful. A home screen? No need. We can't find our shows listed by the show name anymore. I'm not sure where the recordings have gone with this new update. We want to be able to continue watching in SD. It works well for our family, and for storage capacity on phones. Please stop with the updates every few weeks, and bring back the easy-to-find TV shows we recorded.

Necessary Evil
This app is absolute trash but I keep it because it’s the only way to watch all of the Hallmark movies I want to watch. The playback controls are limited to 10 seconds to fast forward or rewind when the standard for other apps is to fast forward by 30 seconds. The closed captioning has never worked and we like to use them in our family. It defeats the purpose of having the control button if it doesn’t actually work. :| The app constantly restarts the program if it gets paused and there is a glitch that zooms in movies around the hour and a half mark. FrndlyTV needs to revamp the app if they truly want to keep people or bring new people in.

Fraudulent activity
Signed up for a 7 day free trial. Planned to purchase the monthly package but was charged 84$ for the annual. It was a trial run, I didn’t even know if I was going to like it before I signed up so why would I commit to a year or service? On the 8th day of my trial I was charged, had to contact via chat because they know they’re scamming people and don’t want to deal with phone calls like a real business/company. After discussing the issue for over an hour they agreed to a PARTIAL refund. Needless to say I was charged 15$ for a half day of service when the monthly fee is only 7.99$. Doesn’t make sense and they don’t take responsibility. Unless you like money being stolen from you, pass on this useless app and the greedy creator.

Terrible new update
I love being able to stream GAC, UPtv and hallmark. Unfortunately the guide is not great. Search function doesn’t work as well and you are not able to record only new episodes of shows. When subscribed to a season, all of the reruns record. Very frustrating. I was able to deal with it as I cannot find another service with these channels. But now the shows don’t sort properly. If you start a movie and not finish it, it doesn’t go into “continue watching “ anymore. It doesn’t save where you were in the movie but restarts from the beginning. New movies are no longer in “just recorded” section. It is very aggravating. Please fix it!

Great selection, bad execution
The movies are great, but frequently while using the on demand feature, an error message appears: FrndlyTV failed to load video. Typically when receiving this error message, pausing the video or the battery dying, your spot is saved where you left off. Lately, however, it has not saved the location and all interrupted movies must be started from the beginning since it doesn’t give you the capability to fast forward. So annoying! I just put the movie on silent and let it play until I see that it is at the spot where I left off so that I can finish my movie. Because of this, I miss a lot of endings.

Not working and not even 24 hours after installing
Looking for another streaming app and decided to try Frndly… was checking it out last night and was pretty excited for all the shows and channels. Seemed to be a lot of commercials very frequently tho. But, That goes with some streaming apps. I still love the line up and was leaving hard towards keeping this one. Until I went to turn it on this morning and the app will not even load. Tried several times and even uninstalled it and re-installed it. Still just says the server was not able to produce a timely response to your request. Please try again in a short while! Been trying for an hour. Very disappointing.
